Oh Lulu best of luck with your scan today. Can't wait to hear how gorgeous Ned looks bouncing around in there.
Quick selfish post from me. I had my scan this morning and its another girl! Not really sure how I feel about that at the moment. I had thought I was happy to have either - another girl would be lovely given my two will be so close together, but I only plan on two kiddies so it would have been lovely to have a boy for my DH, who would definitely appreciate a boy to play cricket, soccer, golf with etc. But then this morning before my scan it hit me that I really wanted a boy for me, not just for DH. Was a bit disappointed to hear that this bubby was a girl too, but I'm sure it won't take long to get back to being thrilled at just being lucky enough to have a beautiful, healthy growing baby. Definite advantages to another girl - LOTS of clothes already and I don't have to compromise on gorgeous girlie coloured MCNs ha ha. The huge downside is that we had a pretty definite for a boy's name. The girls names were so hard to agree on for Izzy, so who knows how we'll come up with one for Ned!! Oh, and I have an anterior placenta, which is why I'm not feeling movements very much - very relieved to hear that. I was getting a bit worried!
Congratulations Lulu!! Glad to hear all is fine hun! Like you said I'm sure you will both get used to the idea and how great that you have lots of clothes and MCN for Ned, plus they will be like twins really!! :D DH can play cricket, soccer and golf with his girls!!
Aw congrats on the scan Lulu!! Another girl - yay!! :D
YAY on a healthy growing little girl, a sister for Izzy. We completely understand how you both kinda wanted a boy but like you said you both just need some time and it doesn't change how much you love your little Ned.
Oh wow Lulu congrats!! I understand about the boy thing, my dh was so disappointed when our second was a girl, he really wanted aboy. When we went for a third I was so worried how he would react if it was another girl!! All those hormones, I think he might have moved out when they hit teenage years!!! But glad to hear all is well and you have a healthy bouncing bubba in there!! and Izzy and her will be best of friends!
Congrats on a little girl lulu!!!! I thought from day 1 that we were having a girl, but I secretly wanted a boy for hubby. I also had an anterior placenta, reckon I really didn't feel anything definite til around the 24 week mark.
Congratulations Lulu, your little girls will grow up and be best friends I just know it!
Oooh Ashi - your avi looks soo cute!! I love it! I wanna new one - waaahhh!!!
Quick selfish one here but Izzy is up on feet and hands!!!! I think we are soooo close to crawling and shes pushing back on her hands constantly! I can't believe it!! She's doing lots of 360's in circles and getting up on hands, then knees but separately - but today shes gotten up on feet -knees straight and hands too!! Funny stuff!
Have a great day ladies - hope bubs are being kind to their mummies!!
Fanks Tan, do you like me brunette? lol
I do!! You look gorgeous! and Blake looks super cool in his beanie and crawling!!
Ash, wow your avi does look fantastic!!
Very quick selfish post from me - sorry! I am totally stressing out cause I am going to work tomorrow aarghh!!!! I want to take all my hols so I can get some money hehe, but I am not entitled to them until I return from my mat leave - anyway long story, so I rang work to see what I can do, so I am going in tomorrow so am "officially" back at work, so can then take my holidays!!! Won't be so bad, they were actually looking for someone when I rang to do our growth and development clinic for our premmies cause the usual chickie is away. So was good timing that I rang, so they said come in tomorrow and do the clinic! My prob is I am totally unprepared - poor Angus has no milk so am going to express now and set an alarm for later tonight to get up and express. Hope he is ok cause he has been a bit grizzly cause OMG WE HAVE A TOOTH YAY!!!!! Finally popped through yesterday, he was pretty good though and didn't complain too much thank goodness. So anyway, I am really nervous as I have only ever left him for a few hours and he was asleep for the night. First day time being apart from him, and him being away from boobies! Only have 5 babies to see in clinic o hopefully will finish about 2ish. WIll pop in tomorrow night and fill you all in!! Hope Grandma survives!!! Night night!!
Good luck today Shell! I'm sure you will be fine hun and Angus will love being with grandma! It is hard to leave them for the first time though.
Good luck today Shelle!!! Yay for Angus getting a tooth!! :)
I have finally set a day for going back to work, not looking forward to it :(
Yay for Angus's tooth and for going back to work. I'm sure it will be fine!!!!
Blake cut his 4th tooth yesterday, it's crazy how quickly the first 4 came up (all within 5 weeks). Hopefully he starts sleeping a little better, night before last he slept till 4:30am it was great. Last night...don't even go there lol
Michelle - good luck today. Its pretty awful leaving them but I'm sure he'll be spoilt rotten by grandma. I think its even worse when you come home and they're like "oh, hi. Now where was I . .." which my little poppet did the last time I left her with mum!!
Ash - wow for Blake's fourth tooth. That's incredible. I know what you mean about sleeping - Izzy has another one coming through and OMG nights are awful at the moment. I hope they settle down for a while so that he (and you) can get a few good nights in.
Tan - OMG. Izzy up on her hands and feet. Toddler proof your house now!!!! I'm excited about my Izzy moving but I'm not so secretly hoping she doesn't get the knack of it until the Christmas tree has been taken down!!
My little princess is not a happy camper at the moment. She has definitely got another tooth coming through and now has a cold to go with it. Poor little thing is one big dribbling, snotty machine. Yesterday she snuggled with me all day - not good for getting anything done but I just couldn't put her down when she was feeling so miserable. I'm much happier now about having another girl. I had always thought it would be nice to have two girls given they will be so close together so I'm not sure why I was suddenly unhappy not to have a boy. I guess its the old grass is greener thing. And I got more fluffy mail today - yayyyy. Kristen - you MUST get a Berry Plush. OMG they feel so beautiful. I've been rubbing it all over DH's face all morning (don't worry - Iz hasn't worn it yet!!) and even he is saying its the nicest one. Hopefully it will be just as good on her little botty!
Anyway, off to do heaps of cooking. Got friends coming over tonight for a "How to Host a Murder Night'. Never done one before but really looking forward to it. Have a great day everyone.
sorry guys i havent posted in a while. I have definitely been reading though!
hope you had a great day today Shell!
Lulu: congrats on another princess. You are very blessed
ash: yay on the 4th tooth!
tan: omg go izzy!!
sarah: happy birthday!!!! :D
Mason now has 2 teeth at the bottom and is still sleeping atrociously. last night was a good night and i only got up 5 times from 9 til 6am.
masons christening is on sunday so i cant wait to show you all pictures! xx
Selfish one here...
We have had the night from hell. As if waking every 3 hours wasn't bad enough, last night it was 2 hourly until 3 then 1 hourly til 6 :( I am exhausted, and at 4 I just bawled my eyes out for about an hour and bl@@dy Al just lies there with a "what do you want me to do" I could have killed him. I kow he has to work his 6 day in a row today but honestly - I have worked for 6 mths in a row with no break. I finally got up and fed her AGAIN to get some sleep, but I think it might be time for tough love. I can't keep doing this- I'm hating feeding her, I'm sleepwalking most nights early on because I have weird dreams about breastfeeding and get this, feeling trapped and for the sake of my mental health it has to be done. Now just to figure out how letting her cry(even when we hold her she screams knowing she won't get booby) will be better? I'm not sure but something's gotta give and my boobies are staying away at night.
Sorry for the vent ladies - arrrghhh sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy...:(
I know how you feel Tan, and when I get my own place I'll be starting the tough love scenario. Blake wakes up and screams and won't even take a bottle sometimes so I just get at my wits end and let him scream on the floor while I rest my eyes on the couch. I figure there is nothing I can do, and he is so strong that he actually hurts me when he pinches/kicks/hits, so the ground is the best place for him and me.
Tan - Vent away hun, we are all here for you :hugs:
Oh Tan
They really know how to test us don't they. Sometimes tough love is the best love they need, cause it is not only you missing out on much needed sleep. Bubs get grumpy and tired and then if your're anything like me your DH will cop the brunt of it all!!! Since Angus's tooth popped through, he has been sleeping from about 7.30pm till 4am. He wakes sometimes in between briefly, but if I am quick enough with the dummy he goes back to sleep. It is his daytime sleeps that we are struggling with. He only likes to sleep for 20mins at at time, so hence I do not get much done around the house, unless I stay up after he has gone to bed at night.
But, work yesterday went well!! Angus had his bottle substitute for booby and didn't even complain. I have to say I dont think he even missed me!! He did have 2 very full boobs when I got home so if anything he missed his boobies but not me! Was actually nice to have some time away though, even though I was stressing abit, I did have a nice day iykwim!!
Anyway, I can hear my boy awake now so I betta go! Good luck Tan. And Ash you are right, sometimes we just have to put them down for their sake and ours!! God knows I have done it and went and sat in the back yard to take a few deep breaths (and maybe a wine)!!
Take care and :grouphug: I think we all need it!!!
Tan - huge hugs. Do you express? If you do, I'd be kicking Al out of bed at least once per night to give Izzy a bottle for him. I've said it a few times in here but I'll say it again. I don't accept that the men work all day so they get the nights off. We work too - bloody hard!! DHs days are about 10 hours long (unless they're my DH in which case its maybe 6!!) 5 or 6 days a week. Ours are 24 hours, 7 days a week. Al is just as responsible for your little princess and he won't come to any harm at all if he takes over for a good two or three nights in a row so you can at least try to catch up. I really don't know what else to suggest. I've had the worst week this week with my Izzy having terrible nights, including one night where she woke screaming every 40 minutes. I was beside myself feeling sick and tired, but that's nothing compared to you having done it hard for months now.
Ash - I agree with the time out thing too. There are some times when they're better off out of our arms while we get a break.
Michelle - I'm glad your day went well. I don't know about you, but I sort of enjoy the fact that I can have a good time while I'm out, but I miss Izzy like crazy and am thrilled to get home to her.
Well, like I said above Iz has been a nightmare this week. She's such an unhappy little girl but its getting really tough getting up for her so frequently. DH got up for her a couple of nights ago and bless him, stayed in a spare bedroom upstairs so he could get some sleep in between her screams, but I wouldn't hear a thing all night. She's hardly eating a thing and sleep is just so hard to come by for her. I really hope this cold passes quickly and whatever her teeth are doing, they sort themselves out.
Maybe we need to all write letters to Santa asking for peaceful babies who sleep through the night??
I agree Lulu, all I want is a sleep in but I don't think that's going to happen!
At Myer you can get the most gorgeous outfit that says "All my mummy wants for Christmas is a silent night". I really wanted one for Livvy but they didn't have her size.
Oh Dan - I've seen HEAPS of them here and I'm sure they will still have Livvy's size because I was tossing up between that one and the "Santa I can explain" one for Izzy. Do you want one? I'm happy to get it and post it over to you. There was also a similar one in Kmart that said "All my mummy wants for Christmas is a silent night like she used to have". Ha ha. I think we can all relate to those ones!!
Hello girls!!! Silly me, I forgot to subscribe to the thread and therefore did not get any notifications.
Quick update as I have no time for personals tonight.
Noah has just started rolling more frequently in the last week, no teeth coming through yet. Had a photo with santa which I hope turns out good, he was so crabby because he was hungry and tired but we did get a smile out of him. We are still getting up for 3 or more feeds a night and on the night before my b-day he got up every 30 mins :O
Okeydokey, too tired to think of anything else atm, hope everyone is doing well and I hope I get the time to write a proper post soon.
Awww  Sarah. Yay for Noah rolling - what a little champ!!
Another quick one here! After deciding on tough love - the first night she cried for an hour and a half at 930 -11 and then I fed her  but then at 230 she grizzled til 430 fell asleep til 630. Fed again and then she slept til 9. So it sort of worked! Last night she woke at 11 - I went in and retucked her in and she grizzled for 10 mins and fell asleep til 230!Whoo hoo! I fed her and she slept til 730! Im hoping that this will keep up - even if we just hvae to resettle and she grizzles for a bit - thats heaps easier than the screaming we got on Saturday night!!! Its a shift though from 2 hourly thank goodness!
Back to the doctor today to get him to check the new spots Izzy has come up with (she has a massive school sore that was originally misdiagnosed as an insect bite - well it was an insect bite to begin with I guess!) anyway looks like it has spread so I want the doctor to check it out for me.
Have a great day all!
ETA: Izzy is a few days off crawling!!!! OMG! She has now worked out how to drag herself forwards using her hands and gets up on her knees while she does it -(rather than pushing herself backwards) all she needs to do now is realise she can use her knees at the same time and presto!! As it is -shes on the move so I have child proofed most of the lounge room - I need to go get a few things like power point plugs, I just can't believe my tiny little gorgeous newborn is crawling - wwaaaaaaaahhhh where has my little bubby gone.
Tan, I'm glad it's starting to work out for you!
Sarah-Whoo hoo on your little roly poly! Before you know it he'll be crawling and you won't be able to catch him!
Blake slept from 7:30-4:30 for about 4 nights in a row, it was great. He woke at 2 this morning, then up at 5 but after a play and a feed went back down at 6:15 where he will probably stay till 8.
Seriously, a big improvement on waking 4+ times a night, I can handle a 5am wake up if he only wakes once during the night! Plus coffee is my friend.
He is crawling like a champ, so fast now and he loves to chase mums dogs around the house lol. He absolutely cacks himself and the dogs hate it, they just run away but he keeps on chasing them! He's getting into everything and pulling himself up on the couch and tables/toys. He comes crashing down sometimes but that's all part of the learning. I don't want him wrapped in cotton wool all his life!
What is everyone's take on "discipline"? We aren't putting anything up or out of the way, he gets a firm "No" and a tap on the hand when he touches something that isn't his. Hopefully this means he will learn and we can take him to people's places and not feel like they have to put everything away.
Tan - fingers crossed it only gets better for you
Ash - thats great that Blake's crawling all over the place!!! Ethyn sort of does this caterpillar crawl, or a belly shuffle!! he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks, then gets up on his toes, I was thinking that he will/may be crawling by Christmas time, but we will see!!
I want to do the same thing with disciplining him, we have our entertainment cabinet open and really don't have much of an option to cover it, so I really don't want to move things, I think my brother did the whole no thing with my nephew and I don't think he touched too many things around the house!
Quick one for me!!
I got fluffy mail today!!!! YAY!!
Sorry just had to share my excitement, got 7 Hautes from someone that didn't want them anymore. Off to wash them up!!! :)
Arrgghhhh turns out it MIGHT be chicken pox. Can you believe that. The only thing holding me together is the fact that she is so happy and doesn't seem bothered by it all. If she was miserable I wouldn't know what to do -I feel so guilty as it is. :( I just hope she gets over it quickly- poor little poppet.
Oh poor little Izzy. I hope it passes soon Tan. That's great news on the improved nights though - hope it keeps getting better and better for you.
Lee - yay for fluffy mail!! I think I'm decided now on what I'm going to go and order to get a proper stash going - hautes but get some of the cotton babies one size inserts. Bummer that the inserts come with the Bumgenius not the hautes, but the hautes fit her so much better.
Ash - that's amazing that Blake is getting around so well - you must be run off your feet keeping up with him!! I think the same sort of way as you do - bubbies need to learn that just because they can reach something, they can't have it. Izzy is already having little tanties when I take something off her that she wants. I've moved a couple of things that would either be dangerous to her, or heartbreaking for me if she broke them but otherwise she's going to have to learn what she can and can't touch.
Sarah - good to hear from you. Naughty Noah for doing that to his mummy on her birthday eve though!
Nothing really going on with us here. Izzy is fortunately feeling better and isn't the grumble bum that she was. Last night she went down at 7.10 pm and slept unti 6am - oh yay!! Today she's been back to her happy, chatty self so that's good. Need to hit the shops tomorrow to do Christmas shopping and I was dreading taking a sick, grumpy baby with me.
Ok, time for personals - Al is out watching a friends gig tonight, Isabelle is in bed so I have time to catch up. I'm just wishing I didn't polish off all the chocolate today, some Cadbury would go down a treat right now ;)
Shell- I'm glad work went well for you hun, it's funny how we stress out and they cope jsut fine - you wonder if they miss us at all! Cheeky monkeys! You are right about the tough love -thank god it only took one night so far! More on that in a sec!!
Lulu - how did your Christmas shopping go hun?? Glad to hear Izzy was back to her normal self- its horrid when they are grumpy and unwell isn't it. You just wish you could do something for them. How are you feeling? Any more ms or has it all passed? How are you feeling about girly Ned?? Have you gotten used to the idea more now?
Lee- yay for fluffy mail!! Mmmmmmmm I really should do something about that! I know what you mean about childproofing - Izzy is well and truly on the move. It's not a crawl as much as a drag but she uses arms and legs with belly on the floor to move all around the lounge. Today she eyed off the Christmas tree before something else distracted her but so far I have found her sucking on the computer cord OMG, sucking my thong, and she pulled out a big CD case from the entertainment unit today... so I need to be so careful with her. Ive tried the NO in a firm voice but Im not sure I want to be saying NO all the time so need to think it through.
Ash - how are you honey? Hope you are doing ok hun... Sounds like Blake is a force to be reakoned with at the moment!! I can't believe they are all so old now - waaaa...where have out teeny tiny newborns disappeared to?
I'm glad he is sleeping better for you too. I find it so weird but I am so much tireder today after getting a better nights sleep than I felt when I was getting 2 -3 hour blocks. Its like the more I get the more I need - or maybe my body is catching up on all the lost sleep over the last few months - anyway Im just glad they are both sleeping so much better!!
Sarah-Hope you are doing ok with your frequent waking hun, its awful isn't it. You just feel absolutely brain dead and I know a few times when I have been with family or friends Ive looked back and realised I was like the walking dead - there but not and have NO idea what on earth I was talking about. :cryinglaugh: Thank god for coffee- Ive put in an order for a Bodum coffee plunger for Christmas!
Mabello - Im so glad Mason's Christening went well -the pics look great hun! He looks adorable! What a big boy. How is his sleeping going? Any change? We should have a catch up soon!
I can't go back any further but want to say hi to Kelly, Kristen, Jan, Lee, Sally and Im sure heaps of others that I cant think of right now :hello:
Well today was a good day after a 12.5 hour night! OMG were my BB's killing me! SHe went down at 7 as usual - woke at 1030 and we went in and patted and shhhhhed and she fell asleep at 11 until 730!! I couldn't believe it. Al got up at 4 for work today and I was leaking everywhere - he says - when did she feed??? and I sat there trying to remember, and said - I think at 7!! We both couldn't believe it - I was sure I had gotten up in my sleep deprived state as usual and had forgotten. So it looks like the tough love thing from Saturday night has started to work and she has realised that just like during the day she is able to settle herself back to sleep without us.
The best thing is is that her day feeds have settled right down and she feeds rather than feeding, pulling off to see what Dr Phil is chatting about, stopping to flick my nipple for a bit, twisting her head to see whats going on behind her with my nipple in her mouth etc!! She still does the flicking thing but just at the end of a feed!! Haha!! Solids are still interesting - she just won't open her mouth! Today she ate one teaspoon of a vege mix and then 1 teaspoon of banana later in the day. I have a mesh feeder too but she doesnt realise that there is something tasty in the mesh bit so just chucks it on the floor - but she loves her vege teething rusks although most of it ends up on her face! :D
Her crawling/dragging is more efficient too - I think a few more days and she will get the crawl happening - as it is, she is dragging herself everywhere, it's hilarious but oh my go d- enjoy your babies while they are immobile -I can't leave her for more than a minute right now -had to put her in the high chair for my shower for the first time today!
Her spots haven't gotten any worse today so I'm wondering if it even is CP and if it is -its a pretty mild case of it. If its not though then I wonder what the hell it could be. Arrggh -back to the doctor tomorrow so will see what he says. Her staph infection is heaps better with the antibiotic cream thank goodness.
Anyway this post is huge so I'd better go - hope you are all great!!
hey guys... quick one from me. masons christening was just perfect and there are pics in my gallery :)
His sleeping is no better at all. 4 nights ago I got a 4 hour block but nothing even close to that since. Not even my mchn has any ideas for me. I just need to pray he grows out of it soon.
Hope everyone is well. Mason just learnt to sit up properly today! And today is also the day he decided he can chew and eat lumpy foods hehe. He ate a whole cheese single, a piece of bread, then he had mince meat with pumpkin...YES all in one sitting!!
xxx
Oh yay Tan for a whole night's sleep. I felt the same way you describe afer my first few nights of sleeping through - absolutely wrecked when I should have felt brilliant. I think it is your body's way of saying "hey, that was great but I need another 6 months of it!!"
Dani - glad Mason's christening went really well. What a good little boy for eating all that too! I'm very envious. Not envious about your nights though - you must be exhausted you poor thing. I hope he changes his ways very soon for you.
Much happier with the 2nd girlie idea now. Mum came up today for Christmas shopping and we had a lovely time looking at cot sets, clothes etc. And hey, another girl means I don't have to have anywhere near as much discipline when I buy clothes for Izzy because Ned will use them too!!
Hee hee Lulu - I love your philosophy!!!
Danni- Yay for Mason sitting up!! As far as bread and finger food goes - when can I start that? I wonder if Izzy might bypass the mooshy stuff because she loves her vege teething rusk but Im scared to give her anything else in case she chokes. :(
Well I'm glad I'm not a big bully for not letting Blake have his own way all the time!!!
Lee-Whoo hoo on the fluffy, are they the new Hautes or the older version? Either way I think they are an excellent nappy and you'll be pleased!
Tan-I hope Izzy gets better soon, and how the heck could she have gotten chickenpox?? Me, I'm alright, getting there. I agree, I'd kill for my immobile feeding machine back, will trade in my crawler anyday lol I agree with feeling more tired when you get a good night's sleep, that's the way it's always been for me (with the exception of today, I've had 2 hours sleep). You can start giving izzy finger food whenever you like, just sit there and watch her like a hawk. Blake munches on carrots, hot chips (shhh lol) and anything he can feed himself, he won't even eat pureed foods sitting up but will happily sit there for 15 minutes munching on something he is feeding himself.
Lulu-Yep you're right, I am run off my feet. I need to invest in a playpen and soon (bloody Christmas time will prohibit that for now though). Blake is the master of tantrum throwing now, I just say "Blake" in a firm voice when he is gonig in the direction of something and he absolutely cracks it then goes full speed towards what he wants, he is such a terror! Glad to hear Izzy is sleeping, I never thought any of us would be having issues at 6+months on :( Have you and your DH started to think about girls names for Ned??
Dan-Hooray for Mason sitting up, such a good boy. What the helll was he eating in that video the other day, I watched it over and over and I still can't figure it out. You'd never think Mason was smalled than Blake the way he eats his solids, LOL he just keeps eating if you keep offering, too cute!
Well I went on a date last night *giggles like a school girl* And didn't get home till midnight, then Blake woke at 2 and didn't go back to proper sleep until 8.25am :| I have heaps of stuff to do today too si I'll be ramming as much coffee down my throat as I can before I get on the bus!
Hi everyone,
WOW have we been busy here. So now that Olivia is in bed and hopefully sleeping soundly I'm going to do my best to catch up with my long overdue personals.
Tan - Oh is little Izzy feeling? All her spots starting to clear up? Best of luck with the dr today. So your little princess is on the move hey. And has a tooth. They are growing up way to quickly it's horrible. I want her to grow up but at the same time I don't want my little bubba to grow up. YAY on Iz's sleeping for you. How'd you go last night?
Danni - Fantastic to hear that Mason's christening went so well. The photos are just gorgeous. I just adore his bib. YAY on sitting up Mason. You are getting so big. Is he on the move yet Danni? When did you start giving Mason meat? Livvy has cereal, toast, fruit and vegies but not sure when or how to introduce meat as she isn't even close to having teeth. I'm so sorry that your big boy isn't sleeping for you. Fingers crossed it is just a phase which he will get out of soon.
Ash - How are you travelling gorgeous? Did you take Blake down and get him another photo with Santa? I can't believe how quickly Blake has taken off. I know they begin to be more of a handful but I bet he just looks absolutely gorgeous crawling everywhere. How do you keep him from getting carpet burn on his knees? Livvy is trying her hardest to commando crawl but I'm finding she is getting carpet burn on her knees. Any tips anyone? Oh a date. How'd it go? I need details. We are doing the same thing about disicpline with Livvy. I have only baby proofed safety issues and haven't moved things out of her way. We hope we can teach her not to touch so like you we can take her to people's house and have her not touch their things. When I tell her "no" in stern voice she squeals, throws her arms around and looks for daddy. He was naughty and picked her up twice after I said no so now she always looks for her daddy. He will not do that again after I gave him a serve. Our main problem is raspberry's during meals time.
Lulu - How is your princess feeling? All cleared up? I hate it when Livvy is feeling awful. I must admit we have been so lucky and Livvy hasn't had a cold yet. Did you buy lots of pressies for Izzy when you went shopping? Any more teeth and is Iz on the move yet?
Sarah - So good to hear from you and to hear all about your growing little man. How are you coping with your frequent waking overnight? Is Noah still in your room with you? Hopefully it all starts to look up for you soon. How's your home business going?
Shell - So glad that you and Angus both survived your day back at work. Was it a one off or is it a regular thing now? Has Angus had another day of breast refusal? What is your little man up to?
Lee - Ethyn is off now. I just love the belly shuffle but with him on his hands and knees rocking he'll be crawling before you know it. He's probably already off. YAY on your fluffy mail. Are you happy with them now that you're using them?
I know that I have missed some of you lovely ladies. Hi to Kelly, Kristen, Jan, Hayley, Sally and to all who I have missed. Hope you are all well and your babies are so doing much that they are blowing your mind with how amazing they are.
Well here has been interesting, in a good way. Just the standard christmas parties and get togethers. We also have 5 family birthdays to fit in as well so we are booked solid and Livvy is coping surprisingly well considering how much we are out at the moment. I had my sister and BIL stay here for 5 days and they catered to Olivia's every whim and she had them running. It was great as I got alot of time off (YAY!!) but now I have a spoilt little girl who expects me to do everything they did with her. It is just amazing how quickly they get used to something. She had them completely bluffed. Carrying her everywhere instead of being in the pram and they bought her anything she grabbed. It was just gorgeous.
Livvy is starting to commando crawl but is still getting the hang of it so she isn't going very far at all but has the rolling and sitting down pat. She is absolutely loving her food and is eating four times a day and is having 5 b/f. Her bed time b/f she is acting less interested in and is barely having anything. How soon is too soon for her dropping down to 4 feeds a day? She is starting to have some water during the day.
I had to take Livvy to the dr yesterday. She is absoltely covered in ezcema and if you didn't know any better you would think that she has chemical burns all over her hands. I just feel terrible that her skin is just a mess but thankfully it doesn't look like it is bothering her. Her arms, legs, back and bum are covered. The poor little thing has to covered with two different cream three times a day :(. She is a slippery little munchin. I'm watching Olivia like a hawk at the moment because we went a 1st birthday party on Sunday and then one ofthe kids came out in chicken pox on monday morning. I've got everything crossed that she doesn't get them. I dont' think her poor little skin could take chicken pox when it is already so bad.
Well i'm off to do my daily housework chores. GGGGGRRRR!!!! but on a high note I don't have to do it in January when I start back at work. I can't believe I'm back at work in less than a month.
Have a great day one and all and don't forget it's only 13 SLEEPS UNTIL SANTA COMES!!!!!!!!!!
