Yay Tan im so happy all is going well 4 u with going back 2 work, it would b hard but Iz wont 4get u and is in good hands.
Danni tahts horrible, how long has the landlord given u 2 get out? Is the landlord moving back in or something?
Sangie ill think of some questions, then ask u im sure ill come up with hundreds! My washing machine got a thrashing yesterday and 2 day its drying and folding day.
B4 i do all that drying and folding im taking Bella 2 an activity day, with myself and a friend with her bubs so that should be exciting!!!
-
Now lets see what I can manage to post before Noah goes ratty on me
Sangie, what a popular washing day, hope you get it all done. I have a few loads myself but I might wait until tomorrow as it looks like rain today.
Kass, very exciting to go overseas isn't it? Are you going with your partner or just yourself and Annabelle?
Tan, great to hear the transition to work is going well. I am missing you on msn though :( Izzy should learn very quickly to eat while you are not there. It won't hurt her to not eat for 8 hours anyway as long as the fluids are kept up.
Danni, how miserable that you have to house hunt. You have a great place where you are too!!! Maybe you should move to Horsham  How is Mason sleeping for you these days? I may be going to the O'Connels(sp) sleep school soon if my friend and I are able to go at the same time. They don't use controlled crying so it sounds good.
Dan, didn't you just move into a house? Good luck with the hunting. You seem very busy for sure! I don't know how you do it!!!
There he blows, I knew it wouldn't take long. I wonder how long this phase lasts. Hope everyone is well and I will try to keep up better from now on!!
-
the landlord is selling the house and unfortunately it is out of our price range so we are on the hunt for something else. who knows how quick this house will sell though?
sarah: the o'connell centre is a sister sleep school to tweddle which is where I went. they call it "controlled comforting" but it is definitely controlled crying. dont be fooled :(
-
Danni and Sarah - I went to QEC and they do the responsive settling - there is info on their site, but its not controlled crying where you count minutes and dont go in before a certain time. Its all about responding to their crying and settling via patting etc , but not picking them up. Yes they cry a bit (Izzy does if she realises that her dummy - I mean nipple isnt coming out) but you can stay in as long as you feel you need to, to make sure they know you are there and leave when you feel you need a break. Sorry to butt in but there is a difference and we do it here but its not controlled crying. Not sure if O'Connell do the same but I suspect they do.
-
Hehehe wait until triage calls me back then, i'm going to rip into them and I don't think my friend will go either, will pass on the QEC info for sure..
-
Tan, how old was Izzy when you went to QEC?
When I first went to Tweddle, Mason was under 6 months so we were able to stay in the room as long as we wished...but the second time I went he was over 6 months and it was all timed.
-
Hey guys
I'm going to keep up from here, pinky promise ok!!!
Blake hasn't been sleeping well but he has been a pleasure during the day at least. He touches everything he shouldn't but he is slowly understanding NO! We had a paed appointment today but I got the stupid ahole doctor instead of the helpful one so I ended up in tears to my sis on the way out. He pretty much told me everything is my fault because of my PND and that I basically need to put up and shut up. Yeh, nice, idiot.
I got my nails done today for the first time in years, I got hot pink tips and they are fricken awesome! I'm not having trouble typing or with buttons like I used too yehaw hehe.
-
Ash yay for the pink tips, I bet they look hot! Sorry about the stoopid doctor, hope you don't have to go back to him again. Hey did you confront that b***ch who had the photos of Blake?
Danni maybe the person that buys your house will be happy for you to stay??? Are you looking at houses in the same area?
Sarah hope Noah's ratty phase passes soon, is he teething or just being cheeky bub who doesn't want to sleep?
I feel so lucky that Ellie sleeps so well, ok no cyber slapping me please but she sleeps 11 hours straight every night. Although now that I have admitted to that she may decide to stop doing it, shouldn't jinx myself. ;)
Better go, we are going to mums for dinner tonight, yay for not having to cook!
-
ashlee some doctors r incensitive *****s but dont look in2 what they're saying 2 much all u need 2 know is that Blake is beautiful and healthy and now u have nice nails u should go back and stick ur beautifully nailed figure up at the doctor...hehehehe. What else has come of that freak that stole Blake's photos?
Sarah: It's just Bella and i going i asked clint but he said he'd love 2 but doesn't want 2 come home and have 2 work over time and really long hrs just 2 make up 4 the money he spent. 2 b honest im a lil worried how the house will b kept while im gone so im trying 2 convince him 2 put it on the credit card and come! He said he doesn't know how he's going 2 go without Bella, he's such a baby!
-
Bella and i went 2 baby jym 2 day and met lots of bubs and mums its every wednesday im so happy i found some ppl 4 myself and some buddy's 4 Bella 2 grow and learn with!
-
Ash - just ignore what the insensitive tw@t said to you hun. Honestly, some people. :hugs: Izzy is just starting to understand no too- I just say her name and she looks at me and you can tell she knows shes in trouble but keeps going!! Pink tips sound HOT!
Danni - She was just 6 mths but there were babies there that were older and they were doing exactly the same thing, no-one was timing anything, and their philosophy and how it all works was explained during the group session time. Sounds like Tweddle is very different, I know the book is all about timed controlled crying/comforting. Not sure about O'Connell but if they call it Responsive Comforting\Settling then it sounds like its like QEC- they still cry but you don't stand at the door and listen, you go in and out as you feel you need to. I have to take a break every now and then, and also Izzy tends to get louder and more frustrated when I am there so I have to leave sometimes too. Check out the website- there are podcasts about settling techniques on there.
Lis - yay for Ellie! I would give anything for my 2 mth old who slept 12 hours a night to come back :P
Exhausted after work again today :( Im not sure how Im gonna do this, Ive only been back 2 days and its only the start of term. Ive done 2 hours of work at home today- so much for part time.
Now Im wishing I was just doing CRT and didnt have to worry about meetings, reports and correction. Arrrgghhhhh.
Enough said - might come back later if Im in a better mood! :hello: to you all!
ETA: Iz was up every 2 hours last night :( I think that's why I'm so tired. Have decided that we will not feed her between 7 and 5. If she wakes, we will rock, pat or listen to her grizzle but no more feeds. She doesnt actually feed anyway - last night she would take my nipple and hold it in her mouth and fall asleep - clearly Im just a dummy, and she knows how to self settle because we put her down at 7 and all her day sleeps wide awake and she drops off so it's clearly just a habit we need to get out of. I'm sending Al in too because if I go in and don't feed her she cracks it majorly so maybe she will start to associate waking in the night to getting dad, who can't feed her so will go back to sleep -ugh.
-
hey guys ill do personals later or 2moz just letting u know that there is now a website 4 Bella so have a looksie and i've started the journal on it ill be updating that as often as possible. Leave a note in the guest book as i believe this is a life long speacial thing 4 Bella and would love all of ur imput. The password is bella1 and if anyone has any suggestions about it plz let me know! http://babiesonline.com/babies/2/23552/
-
Lis-I did confront her on the forum but as far as it goes there isn't much that can be done. She's been banned from the site, but the damage has already been done really. I am going to cyber slap you miss, it''s totally unfair :( hehe nah I'm happy for you, lucky lucky mummies with good sleeping bubs.
Kass-Believe me I almost slapped the doc, he is an idiot and has no idea really. He hardly even looked at Blake even when I said I'm concerned about this this and this...he just went yeh that's fine whilst writing crap. Whatever! Glad to hear you've found some friends for you and the family at the gym, I need to do the same, I feel so isolated!
Tan-Hooray on going back to work. I can understand you being tired, Blake is up as often as Izzy but everynight so working after that would make me crazy. I hope she sleeps better for you tonight! I wish I could just stop the feeding- but I'm lucky I can just give him a bottle and he'll drink it and chuck it when he's done - there were many a night before that I had to sit at the cot feeding him (I never take him out of the cot anymore, one thing I've been tough with).
Well Blake went to bed at 8.20 and has already woken once, fun times eh.
-
Oh my gosh, I feel like I have been MIA for ages!!! Don't know where to start really!!
Ash - what a biatch, that is crazy!! Psycho woman, must be a bit scary too. And that Dr, obviously he has been around too long and needs to retire cause he has stopped caring. Can you see another Dr??? So Blakey is still a bad sleeper hey, I have no tips for you cause my naughty boy is just the same!!!
Tan - bugger work is being painful already. Are you job sharing a class with another teacher?? Hope they pull theri weight and you aren't doing all the work. How did Izzy go with her milk now??
Kass - Europe you lucky thing!!! I have never travelled, had great intentions which is actually why I did nursing so I could work and travel, but hey, i got preg instead!!! Great to hear you have found a way to meet mums and bubs!! Good luck, hope it is fun!!!
Sarah - good luck with your sleep school!!! Sounds like they are all the same though with theri methods. How's your business going?? Have you had heaps of work??
Dan - I don't know how you do so much work and study!!! I did 3 night shifts last week and was so buggered I could barely function!!!
Danni - bugger, have you looked at any other houses yet?? Good luck matey, we moved when I was preg with my 2nd and it was horrible!!! I was so sick I had boxes that were still laying around 12mths after we moved!!!
Lis - lucky you with such a good sleeping baby!! *envy envy*
Hello to evryone I have missed!!! I tried my hardest to remember what everyone has been up to!!!
Well, we have been extremely busy! I worked Sat last week, then Fri and Sun just gone. Was so bust at work, and I was so tired all weekend!!! Have spent the rest of this week trying to catch up on some sleep before I have to go again!!! Angus has been good, he understands no also, but thinks it is hilarious and laughs at us!! He is into everything, and loves his sisters dolls (much to dad's disgust!!) I am having problems with him bf though, he is starting to refuse a lot of the time. I think he is getting used to the bottles he has while I am at work. On Mon night he woke up and I gave him a bf, and he still screamed and screamed like he was hngry, and just kept pulling off the boob. I think he wanted a bottle. ANyway, I am not giving in cause I really want to keep bf.
Anyways, I betta go to bed soon. We have hectic mornings around here with school etc. Hopefully I will be in more reg to catch up!!!
take care!
-
Ashlee if he hasn't done hesjob, just refuse 2 c him next time, u dont need 2 feel like crap 4 no reason.
Shell i wasn't expecting 2 travel until my 40's or at least my kids have left home, if i have anymore, has i've had a bubs when most ppl r traveling. But my parents have got a sudden burst of generosity (sorry cant spell) so im taking them up on there offer b4 they change there minds!
-
Kass, I would do the same!! I am just trying to win lotto to fund a holiday!!! My DH has a sudden burst to spend lots of money, suddenly it is him spending money not me! He is getting a boat, trying to convince me that it benefits the whole family, yeah right, he wants it to escape with his mates! I am not silly haha
-
Shell-You must be super woman, 3 kids (4 including DH lol) and working, I think you're great. I find it hard to struggle on with just the one, so kudos to you miss!
Kass-I would take up an offer like that too, how can you refuse?
Well Blake slept till 11 then 5:30 last night...better than frequent waking but 5:30? Come on child, just hold out till 6 and I'll be fine lol I sorta lose it before 6am, I tried to make him play in his cot which he has been happy to do for 30 mins in the past but he didn't have a bar of it - screamed and woke mum up baaah. He's back down now though, fingers crossed he lasts more than one sleep cycle!
-
Yikes I feel for all you lovelies not getting a good nights sleep, wish I could come over and help for a night.......don't you get sick of people saying 'don't worry, he/she will sleep through one day"? I used to want to punch my MIL lights out every time she said that to me!
Shell I agree with Ash, I don't know how you do it with 3 kids and working, think you are a super mummy lol! Was your DD looking forward to going back to school?
Kass yay for baby gym and meeting some new people, that is great! My mothers group doesn't meet as often now as most of us have returned to work and I miss it so much! I'm trying to organise it so that we meet at least every month but its so hard with everyone working different days. Oh well think we will be catching up next Friday so that will be great. I'm going to check out Bella's website now!
Ash pooey to that doc hun, you don't need that crap. Are you able to request not to see him?
Tan I know what you mean, my part time job is not so part time too and I've already been doing some work from home too :( Oh well they are paying me pretty well so I probably shouldn't complain too much at the moment, I will see how things go.
It's pouring with rain here today, was planning on walking up to the supermarket but doesn't look like its gonna happen. :hello: everyone else.
-
shell winning the lotto does happen my DP's brother in law bought a ticket each 4 hes sister's 4 xmas and one won $2 and the other something like $1.248,000,000 it was in the paper. So keep trying!
I take my hat off 2 all u working mummy's, im a baby myself and couldn't leave Bella 4 more then a couple of hrs!
Ash Bella is doing a "im going 2 wake when eva i feel the need 2 and mum will have 2 obay!" Thing lately. 2day she slept tilll 11am but thats coz she was up and down all night!
Sangie r u able 2 find another mummies group 2 meet more frequently?
-
Oh, you girls, supermum, I am blushing!!! No, it is ok for me cause I can do night shifts and the kids don't really miss me!! It is the next day that is a killer, but Angus still goes dwon in the morning for 2-3 hours so I just nap with him!! I am only rostered to do 2 x 12hr shifts, but if we have big bills etc I just work extra!! Is the lucky thing about being a nurse, we are so short staffed I can basically work when I want. Even better to work on Sundays cause it is double time.
Anyway, we had to take DD 2 to get her 4yr old immunisations today!! I was so worried cause she knew what we were going for, and was upset etc. But, she was so brave!!! I made DH come with me cause I thought I would have to hold her down kicking and screaming, but no, she just sat on my lap and never even shed a tear!!! OMG!! She was amazing! They gave her 2 stickers, and she said ouch, and that was it! She has been complaining that they still hurt now, but she was fine! I also got Angus weighed and he is 8.2kg. I am a bit worried cause he has only put on 200grams in 2 mths. Cause he was almost 8kgs at 6mths. I know he is not having as much boob as he is meant to cause he is not as interested anymore. Should I give him formula??? I offer water so he doesn't get thirsty, but maybe I should be giving him milk in a cup instaed. What do you guys think??
Anyway, I best go, have a million loads of washing to do, and it is raining, so have to ry and hang it around the house!!!!
-
hey shell thats great that DD was ok with her needles, it's so hard and would b harder if they knew what was going on.
With formula i would say not yet, as Bella went off the boob and i was thinking the same thing but she was teething. Even b4 then she went off the boob and there were no teeth, they just have off days im sure even if he was on the bottle he would have off days on that also. Just c how he goes if it 4 longer give ur MCHN a call and c what she thinks.
-
Well I looked through my other kids books and they seemed to have slow weight gain around this time also. I charted on the graph and he is still going in a nice curve with his wt gain, so they must allow in it for highly active kids like mine!!! He never stops from when he is up till he goes to sleep!! Crawls all over the house, and into everything!! Anyway I have a killer headache so think i might nod off early. Throwing sleeping dust on all the naughty babies!!!!
-
Hi everyone,
Sorry its been so long. Time feels like it is flying by. Julian is now crawling like crazy and I am struggling with this notion of him being so active. He is into everything already! I am amazed at how much he has grown but I am scared that it is going to get worse. Is anyone else in the same boat as me? Anything that looks remotely dangerous, Julian is there! I don't think he will be far off walking either, well lets hope not for awhile. He is eating bread, cheese, babana by himself now and eating much lumpier food. Except for meats and chicken, I still puree those. Two teeth at the bottom have popped out and he is a very difficult teether. The poor little thing looks like he is in excruciating pain.
I won't attempt personals just yet but I'll definitely read through this thread :)
-
Good evening mummies.I take my hat off to all u ladies returning to work,I am jsut not ready to do this as yet.Alot rests on the fact that Brody is a boobie boy and will not take a bottle at all.we have tried every avenue possible...DP just says he is a typical bloke lol.I come on this forum and by the time i have read through ur posts,i cant be bothered enterig my own.sad isnt it lol.
How many of u mummies are in VIC? I'm in werribee and would love to meet any of you who are up for play date and cuppa.
My how the time is flying with our babies, pretty soon we will all be planning 1st birthday parties!!! scary hey???????? Brody is now 9 mths old and only just cut his first tooth a week ago,but 3 others on there merry way!!!!the joy of teething. He is such a dare devil.Taking steps on his own now and walking the furniture to no end.Lucky my kitchen floor is tiles or else the fllor be marked hrribly with the way he pushes the chairs around lol....His nearly 4 year old sister was the same. She was walking properly at 9.5 mths..I dont want my baby boy to walk yet...i want him to stay little...like that will ever happen...
anyway,im yabbering on..i hope all u mummies out there have great nights with bubbas and may u all have good sleeps.
-
Lis-Yes I hate being told it will happen eventually. when he was a newborn it was "Wait till 3 months and he will settle". Then it was "All babies sleep through by 6 months"-WRONG! Now I'm getting 12 months is the magic age...yeh, we'll see.
Shell-I wouldn't stress about Angus's weigh gain...Blake had only put on about 300g in 2 months, and they say that's perfectly fine. I wouldn't give him formula yet if you're not ready too, but if he self weans I guess you can't do much except express so he is still getting booby juice?
Jan-I have the exact same apprehension - Blake touches everything that may cause his harm, and any speck of dirt or fluff goes straight into his mouth. I hate the idea of him walking as I don't think he is far off. He cruises around one handed on the furniture and can stand for a few seconds unassisted. I'm terrified, I can't keep up with him now! Blake is a horride teether too so I can sympathise there, I guess I'm just lucky he cuts them all close together, he has 8 chompers now.
Hubba bubba-Welcome to our little group, hope you can find the time to talk more about your little guy Brody :)
Well omg I nearly died last night. Blake went down at 8.10 and was awake at 10:10..I went in as I was adamant I was going to just pat him back to sleep. Oh my god, he absolteuly thrashed around the cot, was hitting his head on purpose, screaming, biting himself on the arm - I eventually gave in and gave him a bottle. What the fricken heck am I supposed to do, I'm trying this new tecnique so he can learn not to feed to sleep but he acts like that, I can't strap him down and I can't pat him when he is sitting or standing screaming in the cot. Any suggestions? He'd only had a bottle 2 hours before so I know he wasn't hungry :(
-
Oh no Ash have you tried reducing the amount of milk gradually? I don't know what else to suggest, does he eat a lot of food during the day? Does he take a dummy? These little ones are so tricky to figure out sometimes....:hugs:
Shell I wouldn't worry too much either about Angus weight gain, I think its pretty normal for them to slow down now especially seeing as they are so active.
Hello to everyone else, sorry no time to write much more, heading out soon to meet my sister. Question for you all quickly, how long do teeth take to cut through the gums? I can feel the jagged edge of a bottom tooth and Ellie has been a bit grumpy the last couple of nights. Just wondering how many more nights of grumpiness I can expect before it cuts through?
-
Ash i know exactly what ur going through, Bella just wont settle!!! She'll go down usually at 8:00pm but lately it's been latera nd sleeping till midnight then all hell breaks loose and during the day it's a struggle also! It's been like this during her teething and after im going 2 b bald soon!!!
Hey there Jan and hubba_bubba07
Sangie i couldn't tell u, Bella was restless about 2 wks but it wasn't terrible the hole time just unsettled and unlike her. Then the teeth popped through and im having alot of trouble i think the lack of sleep from 2 wks of teething as chucked her routine out the window!
-
Sounds like a WW to me - anyone know if it is? I swear we had the worst night since she was born last night, she was up every 3-4 hours, and then decided to stay awake between 230-5. I fed her, she wouldnt sleep, Al walked with her and patted her and she would almost nod off but then cry herself awake again - so frustrating, and having my 3rd full day this week today didnt help either. Poor Al too, having to get up at 6.... I wonder if its because she misses me during the day so is trying to get the attention at night, because at one point she was happy just to have a cuddle... sweet but all I could think was that I had to get up at 7 and it was 430 and I was cross eyed with tiredness....eedless to say this whole working malarky is VERY interesting...
Waaaaay too tired to do personals right now but will have some time on the weekend hopefully.
Welcome hubbabubba - Im in VIc but not close to Werribee sorry.... maybe we can still organise a May mums meet up in the city!??? Sarah when are you back in town honey???
:hello: to you all and LOTS of sleep dust being scattered everyones way!
Gotta fly my girl has awakened!
-
I am here physically but god knows where I am mentally. I'm exhausted. I'll be back to do some personals over the weekend. Work this week has been a killer and we have started Oliva's orientation program at childcare too so it has been a massive week.
Catch up soon everyone.
-
Mackenzie has slept in her cot for the past 3 nights!!!!!!!! I am so happy its just great! The cot is right next to our bed with the side off and she can touch me if she needs to, but she goes into her cot without crying at all which is a HUGE step for us. I am going to keep the side off for a month or so, then well put the side on untill she gets used to it. Eventually I am hoping she go into her own room but for the moment I am just so glad we are making progress. She still wakes up at least 3 times a night but at least its not 5-6 times like it used to be!
We have started weetbix in the mornings and she gags, does anyones elses baby do this? Do I just keep giving it to her and she'll get used to it? She doesnt gag if I make it runny like water but she's almost 8 months and I think we need to move on from the runny puree consistency.
Going out today to buy a fitball and a tennis racquet and DH and I are going to start playing a few times a week, so that will be fun and great for the weight loss too!
Ashlee :: My DD used to do this about hmmm 3-4 time a night .. but she just wanted the boobie instead of the bottle. I just found it easier to give it to her, than stress us both out! She is slowwwly does it less and less (waking up) but I think its because I am increasing her solids more now. Maybe he has teeth comming through and needs some comfort?
Sangie :: I have no idea about the teeth, I am just guessing with Kenzie aswell. I have been saying shes teething for the past 4 months! LOL
Tanstar :: I would say that Izzy is definatly getting used to you working and not being around as much. I am sure in a few weeks you will have both settled into a nice routine .. its so hard going back to work so early. Sometimes new mums at the nursery that I used to work at would take a little while before they got the swing of things. At least its Friday and you can have a break tomorrow!
Nurse Dan :: Sounds like you need a glass of wine and a nice relaxing bath!
kass_20 :: Your DP's brother inlaws sisters would have been wrapped! Did they end up sharing the big win? I am so unlucky whe it come to luck lotto or bingo, I think the most I have won is $50 once!
Shellbelle :: Wow you work 12 hour shifts! You must be soo exhausted by the time you get home. I can't imagine working that long and having 3 kids at home, you really deserve the title "supermum"!
When Kenzie was younger I was worried because she was waaayy under weight for her height, but she was a happy and healthy baby meeting all her other milestones no problems. I think those books sometimes cause unnessessary worry. Thanks for the sleeping dust I think some of it reached us last night !! YAY!
Sweetpeajan :: Julian sounds like hes keeping you busy!I am definatly in the same boat as you with the crawling to anything and everything. Kenzies favourite thing to do is crawl to the entertainment unit and open and close the draws, one of these days she is going to get her fingers stuck :( Nice to hear from you and little Julian.
Hubba_Bubba :: Welcome to our little group!
So much to do so little time! Its 12 midnight and I started writing this post this morning! OMG I just realised that Kenzie went to sleep at about 8.30pm and has been asleep all this time!!! I wonder if tonight will be the *sleep through the night* night!!!!
I love this time of night. Only time I get to myself I think I might do some scrapbooking ...
:heartbeat:

hey Tanstar iz probley just needs 2 get used 2 things. I remember wayyyyyy b4 teething Bella wouldn't sleep so rang the MCHN and she said has anything changed in her and ur life latley, well DP went back 2 work after 1months holidays and he was getting up 2 her during the night so she got used 2 that and i stopped coz he went back 2 work we had also moved house. So a drastic change like her mummy no longer being there during the day will just take some getting used 2. Hang in there!!!! Now if i only new y Bella isn't sleeping?!!!!
-
Lis-He feeds himself, wont let me hold the bottle. I make up a 200mL bottle but over the course of the night he drinks maybe 100mL. He won't take a dummy but uses the bottle as one, i does my head in! Blake's teeth take a day or 2 to cut from when you can feel it.
Tan-You are amazing, I can't believe to still managed to get to work after that. Hope you're getting tonnes of rest over the weekend.
Dan-Huggles sweets, I hop you're getting plenty of rest this weekend too. Hope you can come back soon to update.
Jen-Great work on getting DD to sleep in the cot! Baby steps as they say. At least her being next to you and her waking means you dont have to get out of bed! I hope Blake isn't cutting more teeth, 8 is enough for now!
Well Blake was up a few times last night, but all in all he slept 13 hours till 8:30am, it was awesome! at 5:45 I thought he was up for the day...but I went in, layed on the ground and stroked his hand, and he fell back asleep, it was so cute!
-
Hi everyone. Sorry but no time/energy for personals but I've read everything.
Been really struggling over the last week. I can see three little shadows of teeth that are not quite through Iz's gums but they're giving the poor little poppet hell. She's so unhappy most of the time and sleep is a nightmare. On top of that, my morning sickness is back worse than ever, I'm the size of a house, Ned kicks all day and all night long, its been so incredibly hot over here for weeks now and I've basically been hiding in the house feeling sorry for myself.
Anyway, enough grizzling and whinging. Will try to get back in tomorrow and catch up on personals.
-
Quiet in here, hope everyone had a good weekend and tha there was plenty of sleeping dust!
Ash yay for Blakey's 13 hours, fingers crossed he is able to do that more often!
Lulu sounds like you need one of these :hugs: I hope Iz's teeth pop through soon and she goes back to her happy self. I hate teething, it seems so cruel.
Well I'm being naughty and getting a BB fix at work so better not be here too long lol. Elena finally got her first toothy peg over the weekend and didn't I hear about it lol, she was not impressed. It is only just poking out of her gum and she keeps touching it and probably wondering what the hell it is lol.
Hope everyone is well!
-
Lulu-Big cyber hugs to you sweetie. I can't imagine having a bubs of our age plus being pregnant. You're doing a great job, please know that. Hopefully Izzy's peggies come up for you soon so she is a bit more happy for you.
Lis-Hooray on Elena's toothie cutting! Blake still gets a bit of a shock I think when he puts his hands in his mouth, he even chews his nails with his teeth now lol!
Well last night was a shocker. He was at his father's the night before, and all of Sunday had a total 1 hour sleep. Then, he went to sleep at 9:30 (I ***** you not), woke up at 10:45 and 2 and up for the day at 6am. Total 9.5 hours sleep in 24 hours, that's just plain ridiculous!

Hey ladies!!! Just a quick pop in for me, just cooking dinner and I am trying to spend time rebuilding DP's and my relationship. It sure has taken a beating from having a baby.
Noahs sleeping is still shocking but I have given up caring so much and snag a nap in the morning if I don't have too much on. I thought we had a tooth coming through because he had a raised lump although it is now gone and a white patch is there in its place but it is not hard. Other than that he is crawling flat out and pulling himself up including climbing on me and pulling down my top for a feed
Hope everyone is well and will try to touch base soon!!!

Hi everyone
Just thought I would pop in and say hello!!!
Selfish one here!!! We have just come back from Adelaide, we spent the weekend there catching up with my family. Ethyn is crawling!!!! Its quite funny when he does it, his arms are pretty much straight!! and he bangs them on the ground as he is crawling!! He is quite quick doing it too. His second tooth is coming thru at the moment, I noticed it this afternoon.
Ok I had better go, have to get organised for work tomorrow and sort out Ethyn's bottles for childcare!!
Chat soon xoxo

Hi all,
I'm so sorry that I haven't been around at the moment but everything is absolutely going to ***** here and falling apart around my ears. I am so far beyond exhausted that I just don't know what to do anymore. I am about to throw in the towel and give up on everything. I'm working full time, studying, trying to run a household, look after Olivia and be a wife and I'm failing at everything:cry:. Olivia is refusing to sleep at all over night which is so unlike her. My day started at 4.30am yesterday and she has been screaming the house down since 11pm. So I haven't slept in nearly 24 hours and I have to be at work in 5 1/2 hours. To make things worse I have to interview to keep my job today. How am I supposed to interview when I haven't slept in what will be over 24 hours?? I just can't cope anymore. I don't know how I am going to do all of this and have Olivia starting childcare in the morning which is going to throw her out of whack even more if that's even possible.
Sorry for the selfish post. I'm trying so hard to keep up but can't seem to be here for you guys either. I'm sorry everyone. I'm thinking of you all and i'll be back soon to catch up properly.
Once again sorry for the self absorbed post.
Luv Dan.
