Olivia, Bump, Dave & I hope you all have a fantastic day tomorrow filled with lots of pressies, yummy food and good company. Have a great time playing santa and watching your little ones tearing into their pressies. Can't wait to hear all about it. Gee I hope I've been good enough for Santa to come to me
I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas. Noah got spoiled but the poor thing was over it by the 3rd present. I am going to have a hot bath and go to bed I think.
We have had a great day, kids totally spoilt! I put photos on facebook for those who are one there! Anyway, just thought I would pop in and say hi, hope everyone has had a fab day with their family and friends and little ones!! xxxxxxxx
P.S. Sarah - sending labour vibes to you - but after midnight!!! A friend of mine had her little man on xmas day and it is so hard for them, trying to do 2 big celebrations on the one day!! Good luckxxx
MERRY CHRISTMAS gorgeous gals and bubs! Hope you all got spoiled and had a wonderful day with your beautiful families.
We had a great day - 2 big days actually! Spoiled with family and presents yesterday and then we went to the Botanic Gardens with friends today and then out for icecream. Izzy is exhausted!Hopefully will give us a sleep in tomorrow!! Chat soon lovelies.
Very belated Merry Christmas everybody. Sounds like everyone had a lovely time.
Iz & El got soooooo spoilt. Elena really didn't get it at all - wasn't even interested in the paper - but OMG Izzy is a present monster! She opened absolutely everything she could get her hands on, no matter whose it was.
It was a huge day yesterday. Today the girls both went down at about 11am so DH and I went for a snooze (well, you know!!). He got up at about midday when Ellie stirred. I got up at 2.45 pm (soo nice) to find that El hadn't actually woken up properly until 2.30 pm, and Iz hadn't woken up until 2pm so DH had a lovely time in the peace and quiet enjoying the cricket. They were so exhausted after the excitement yesterday. Hoping for a nice early night tonight too.
Sending you lots of labour vibes now Sarah. I hope your little prince comes very soon.
Hope you all have a great night! We are having a bbq with a few friends so should be fun! Although I won't be drinking because I'm pg!!! Yep you read that right I got a BFP last Sunday! Still early days (4w 3d) so please cross all fingers/toes and send me some sticky vibes. I'm not game to do a pg announcement yet, maybe in a week or two! Feeling quite sick already so hopefully that is a good sign!
I had to read that twice!!! So happy for you hun and sending you loads of sticky vibes and all the best for a Happy and Healthy 9 mths babe!!!
Hello to everyone else! Hope you all have a wonderful night tonight with your gorgeous ones!
My BIL and SIL had their baby today in Canada, Thomas Ronald!(Ronald from Al's pa who died this year.) Can't wait to meet him in a few months time!! We are looking at flights for DH to possbly go visit in the next week or so - lucky duck, there is no way would travel with Izzy right now!!
I got my cloth nappy stash yesterday - poor Izzy got a rash from the BG so will go slow with her but I am pretty sure I will go full time cloth with James! The Cushies are lovely too! Mmmm so many to choose from and if DH goes to Canada I can bribe with a nappy budget!
Have a great night ladies! Im off!!!
OMG Lis. Yay for you. Huge congratuations to you. I love that there are more bubbies joining our little BB family.
Tan - congratulations to your BIL. And your very, very lucky DH (although its gonna be pretty chilly over there!!). I'm with you on not doing the trip with Izzy though - a flight to Sydney was enough to show me that there is no way I want to be on a plane for any length of time for at least a couple of years. Glad you're enjoying the nappies with James but poor Iz. I'm still concerned that it was the MCNs that gave my Izzy her rash initially - maybe they needed to be stripwashed or something and there was a detergent build up?? Dunno. Something to bear in mind though. I saw your other post about your wish list. I have a wildchild that I won't use on Ellie if you're interested in a second hand one - I bought it off Lee but have never used it. I also have a yellow berry plush and a pea pod if you want to give them a whirl.
We're doing nothing tonight - doubt we'll even be awake at NY, although Madam Ellie seems to be having a very definite 11.30 pm feed. Have a good one everyone and stay nice and safe.
CONGRATULATIONS LIS!!!! Wishing you the most amazing 9 months. What an amazing belated Christmas present.
So exciting here. We have bought Livvy her big girl bed today. I wasn't expecting it to be delivered the same day so the poor little bugger doesn't haven it as we have no linens, donna or even a mattress. I was expecting a 6 week delivery. Looks like more shopping for us to more. What a shame, LOL!!
Wishing you all an amazing New Year!! We aren't doing anything as I've just knocked off work so I'm buggered and just want to lay down on the couch with DH for a while. Have a great one everyone.
How exciting Dan. Happy linen shopping. Is Olivia taking an interest in her new bed or looking at pretty linen? I can't wait to do all that for Izzy but TBH, I'm a bit worried about putting her into a big girl bed. She knows how to open doors and takes great delight in barging her way through the semi open door of Elena's room to go racing up to the cot and bashing on the cot railings screaming "Ehhey, Ehhey", and then looking at me so proud of herself that she found her little sister - who is frequently fast asleep until all this happens
Sarah - how are you going? Is that little man of yours showing any signs of making an arrival or is he keeping his Mummy waiting a bit longer?
Hi to everyone else. We've just got in from a bit of shopping. Geez its hot. I love my airconditioning . . .
Hi All. I am fairly new to BB and I have been mainly posting in the TTC group, but got curious and thought I would look around at baby buddies groups. My DD was born 15 May 2007 so I assume this is the right group to join. Thought I would introduce myself - I am 27, have been married to my DH for 8 years now, have 2 children DD 19 months and DS 7 months. We are TTC #3 and we live in Townsville. I am a stay at home mum but before babies I was a behaviour management teacher. I will go back to some sort of a career one day, but at the moment love what I am doing.
I hope you don't mind me joining in and look forward to getting to know all of you.
Hey All! I am one of those slack ones!! I try and post, but more than often read - then one of the kids are screaming wanting something!! So...never get to reply!!! Welcome Townsville girl!! Nice place to live hey
Well, we had an interesting day yetserday. Angus woke up, had his milk, then promptly threw up everywhere!! He had some temps the day before and over night, and also had a fine rash on his legs. So he continued to constantly vomit whenever he had fluids!! So, off we went to the chemist (only had one iceblock thingy), got more iceblocks and the bottle of hydralyte stuff. He held that down, had a sleep, then woke up like nothing was wrong. Weird!! The rash spread across his legs and tummy, so pretty sure it was a viral rash, cause the temps stopped when the vomiting stopped. Hopefully no one else gets it!! I hate voomiting!! Today he is back to normal!!
Anyway, am thinking I need an early night!! He had a really restless night, and I am so so tired. Had a semi late night New years Eve - went to dinner for my birthday, then had to go to work at 7am New Years Day!! Then had a late night with the family that night, so need to catch up on sleep I think!! xxx
