Hi everyone! I've raced around like a mad idiot trying to get organised this morning, hopefully I'll have time for proper post before my little man wakes up! What are the chances hey? We're going out at about 5 tonight and we've got family coming for brekky tomorrow, so I need to have everything ready.
Mother's group was good, it was nice to see other babies around the same age, and all the girls seem nice :) There were seven of us, only two girls though! Nicholas was the first one to scream how embarassing LOL. But then he was fast asleep while all the others cried!
What do you know, he's awake....with any luck I'll BBL :)

Hi girls!!!
Sorry, this is gonna be a quickie cause I have to start getting everything ready for SIL's 21st tonight.Lucky I made the pavlova and other sweets last nite!!.It's a fancy dress too..I've got mine all ready but still have to get Nick and Jack's ready too..
Glad to hear everyone is going good and these bubbas all seem to be behaving themselves.. Toby is great and slept 10pm till 5.30am last nite.. Which was great cause I know 2nite will be a late one and I needed a good sleep... I even got up at 9am this morn, cause Jack had a sleep in.. YAYAYAY
And it is so chilly out there.. Lucky I've got my thermal singlet to wear under my costume, hey!! So I'd better fly and get the cat and dog's dinner done and pack the baby bag for my 2 boys..
Have a great nite mums and bubs and I shall make sure there are loads of photos on my website 2moro:lol:

Good afternoon ladies,
Just a quick one from me too cause we are also heading out for dinner tonight. I'm really nervous because it is our first dinner outing with Olivia and of course she is due for a feed while we are out. I have no idea where I'm going to feed her. It will sort of I'm sure.
Oh Lulu I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself with your response to what have you been doing lately. It really does seem that is all we do. Add in a bit of sleep and cleaning and you have my life.
I completely agree with what you said Tan. I really need to find something to do as well. I'm getting so bored now that Olivia is settling and sleeping a lot better. We definetely need something to keep our minds active. Have you come up with any ideas?
It is awesome to hear how wonderful our bubbies are being with their sleeping. YAY!!!! that they are all beginning to turn the corner for us. Olivia is sleeping anywhere from 4 - 6 hours overnight and is always back in bed asleep within an hour of waking. She is getting better at settling herself. We are off to sleep school on Thursday to make sure I'm doing it right.
Well I've had a great day. My mum drove over to spend the day with me and Olivia. It was just fantastic. We all went out for lunch, went shopping (spent lots of daddy's money) and then mum gave Olivia her bath. Mum loved it so much she cried. It was so gorgeous that my eyes welled up. I'm such a sap.
I cannot believe how organised some of you ladies are about Christmas. I haven't even thought about it at all. I really should though because we also have SIX family birthdays in December as well. It is a really expensive month so spreading it out would probably make a lot of sense.
Does anyone know about the immunisation payments we get? I got a phone call from centrelink and asked if I wanted to register for it. I said yes but have no idea what it is about.
Have a great night everyone and I'll pop on tomorrow and do a much better job of personals and not do such a selfish post.
Luv Dan.

cant wait to see pics alex!!
hey dan: the immunisation payment is just over $200 and the government/centrlink pay this to you just after Olivias 18 month needles. Its a one off payment to "thank" you for getting her immunised.
Its great considering all immunisations are free :D
Poor little mason was screaming last night at bed time. I have NO idea why :( He eventually went down at 10 and just woke for his feed now!! whooo hooo
We are having our professional photos done today as the lady cancelled last week. My boys are gunna be spunky and I hope my sister can do wonders with my hair and face!
-
What a weekend!! We had a friends birthday part on Friday at a pub and Justin's aunts birthday in Kaniva at a pub last night too. Noah was perfect on Friday but last night all he did was scream and want to be fed. I nearly had a breakdown in front of all of his rellies..
Danni, Have fun getting your pics done today!!
Dan, Noah hardley notices the cast, he still kicks about his legs like he doesn't have it on. It only seems to bother him when they are positioning his foot in the cast. It is excellent that Olivia is sleeping for you, I hope sleep school goes well, let us know how it goes!
Alex, I can't wait to see the photos, Let us know the link when you have them up! Hope you had a great time!
Sez, Glad to hear mothers group went well. Sounds like Nicholas is a leader, he screamed first and the others had to copy ;)
Ange, I only have to fast for 2 hours!! I was a bit worried but now I am not so much. Isn't Jade being a good girl...How did the bbq go?
Ash, Can you get your sister to help clean? Hope you are doing well!
Lulu, YAY for Izzy!!! Has she kept up the sleeping so you could have that lay in?
Tan, Lol at Dr Phil, time to start watching Cheaters instead, that show is hilarious. I guess you already covered the scrapbooking? I had an idea to start a mothers walking group that ends in coffee, not sure how many other mothers are crazy like me to want to walk in this cold weather..Maybe you could try to arrange something similar?
Well now that I was reminded about Noah's foot going through the posts, His tenotomy is booked for July 11th so the Wednesday at 7am and I have to fast him for 2 hours although I still don't know why if it is a local. I don't know what is going to happen for the next 2 weeks in regards to the plastering since Dr P wanted the tenotomy this week but I guess they are booked out so maybe plastering continues as normal.
Today will be the day i get this sty cleaned, or so I hope to anyway  At least the washing is done. I will be putting Juz to work for sure. After that I will print up more photos for my family and my photo albums and I might get started on Noah's scrapbook. After that I will try to get some more photos on my webpage. I woke up to a very smiley man and took advantage of it by taking several photos.
Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekends and not been too cold!! Lucky me with the last of my preg hormones in my body I am still warmer than usual so I am not too bothered by the cold yet...
Does anyone know how soon after a c/s you can conceive again?? I am scared about rupture but I am keen to get no. 2 out of the way.

Thanks Sarah ;) I like that comment!
I just had to express how excited I am.........Nicholas fed at 11.30 last night, went down at 1.30 and didn't wake up until 9.00!!!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe it! Of course it had to be the morning that we were having people for brekky . I hadn't set the alarm and woke up at 8.30 in a panic! All went well though, and they've just left. Better go and clean up though, while the man is still asleep (again!). I know this means he won't sleep at all this afternoon, so I'd better be organised.
Hope you're all having a nice Sunday! Love Sez xoxo

Hey gorgeous girls and bubs!!
A very quick one here- about to walk out the door! Going out for Vietnamese for lunch!! Beautiful sunshine in Melbourne today - pity its so icy cold!!
Had a great day yesterday - went to watch Al play soccer - I was on canteen duty!! Hee hee - Izzy was great - slept most of the day in her pram and then I went shopping and she slept most of the time in her carrier! My shoulders were KILLING me by the end of it though- shes so heavy - not sure if its because of the crappy carrier we have (NOT a baby bjorn!!) or if this would be the case in a HAB too because we think shes pushing 5 kgs now??!! Danni??
Sez- yay for Nicholas!! Ive been impressed with Isabelle going for 6 -8 hours every night - I WISH it was from 12-8 though instead of 6-2!!
Sarah - I might have to go with Cheaters!! Im working on her album/scrapbook and want to get a book to store all keepsake stuff like cards we've recieved, newspapers from the day she was born etc.... other than that- Im at a loss... I really need to just enjoy the time I have I think - February will come around all too soon. Looking forward to checking out your new pics!
As far as concieving goes - have you had your 6 week check up?? Check with your GP first hun - your health is the most important thing!
Danni - hope the photo shoot goes well..!!
Oooh soory everyone else I have to go - our friends have just arrived so we can go to Ikea and out for lunch!
Have a great Sunday!!

Hi everyone!
Just a quick drop in - sorry I haven't been around lately. Still trying to get Mia to settle down a bit with her sleeping. I am SO JEALOUS that most of you seem to have 6-8 hour sleepers!!! Where is mine?! She's only done one 7 hour sleep (fluke!) but her average is only 4 hours so she'll go down at 11:30 and wake at 3:30am. I even tried giving her a bottle of EBM instead of BFing her at 11:00pm just in case she wasn't getting enough to keep her going, but she still woke at 3am!! Boo hooooooo!!!
Well, I started mothers group this week on Wednesday which was quite nice. There are 5 girls including me in our group so it's nice and small to get to know everyone. Plus, they're all within 5 mins of my house, so it's good to know they're all around the corner. Hopefully we can continue to meet up after the 6 weeks are over if all goes well.
Mia is settling better than she was before, although she seems to be getting in the habit now of waking after her first sleep cycle and crying when she wakes. She will more often than not eventually go back to sleep again but often I will still have to go in to settle her or she won't stop. She is still VERY hit and miss with her sleeping and settling. She's 6 weeks on Tuesday and I would have hoped by now she's beginning to find her own routine but I think she might be a little way off yet - HOPEFULLY soon!
Will try and get some personals in later - don't have much time to myself of late, so I apologise for missing out on them now! Bit of a mess!!
xx

Um, he's sleeping again, I hope he's okay?????? Very excited that I just amanged to express 40ml in 20 mins, my best effort yet :D!
Sarah, I think I've read that you need to wait a year before conceiving again, but I could be wrong about that. I'm sure there is a recommended waiting period. Hope you managed to get time to clean!
Tan, yay for a good day yesterday! Where does Al play soccer? I have to say, I'm so glad the cricket club have a FT canteen lady! I only have to fill in from time to time, like maybe once a season. I'll be interested to hear what Danni says about the carrier, I have a Baby Bjorn, which I like, but I've been thinking that a HAB would be good too. Nicky's only just hit 3kgs so he's still pretty little LOL.
Kristen, I know it's hard, but don't stress about the sleep thing. One girl in my MG was saying that her baby isn't nearly as 'good' as all of ours, and our MCHN told her not to worry, that her baby is normal, that is what you'd expect him to do at this age. Hope she sleeps for longer soon hun!
Gotta dash! Love Sez xoxo

Hello!!
Sorry, another quick selfish post from me.
Just wanted to let you all know that the mastitis has cleared again and hopefully that's the end of it!!! It's been such a tough couple of weeks for me but thankfully I'm finally feeling like myself again!! The feeding is going much better now and the nipple pain has finally gone too!! For the first time since Luke was born, I'm almost experiencing painless feeding and it's heaven!! Nipple are a little sensitive but not painful like they were!!! We're also feeding off both sides each feed now, as opposed to just one side at a time, so I'm not completely emptying the boobs but it seems to be working well and I guess my supply will adjust to that!!
Luke is amazing too - he's been sooo good while I've been sick. He's even going 6 hours between feeds at night, so I'm getting between 4 and 5 hours of sleep!!! It's great and he's done it for the last three nights in a row.
God bless my Mum too - she's been amazing!! I'm sooo lucky!!
Well better go try and get some sleep while both my men are sleeping!!!
Talk soon.
Kelly xxx

tan: you need to get the HAB! I carry Mason for hours and hours and nothing hurts. And I even have a bad back! I carried him for another hour today while we went to the rug clearance at the show grounds. Again he slept the whole time :D
Tan: Im coming to rowville on thurs, is that near you?
:hello: to everyone else. Our pics went ok today. Mason screamed a lot though so we couldnt get too many pics. Hope some are ok!

Well, I spoke too soon on Friday. After Izzy having two good days and going to bed before 7pm two nights in a row she decided to spoil me with two hourly feeds all night - just lovely!!! Saturday she was very unhappy all day - no sleeps at all but then slept for 7 hours, then 5 and then another 5. Sad to think she needs to be in pain all day for me to get such great night sleeps!
Sarah - like Sez said, I've heard from different people that you should wait 12 months before conceiving again. Having said that, my OB on Tuesday said that I should "get to it" on No. 2. He said there was no reason whatsoever why I shouldn't try for another baby straight away, although given I'm fuly bfeeding that's very unlikely at this point. Hopefully you can find some mums to go walking with - I try to get out every day with Izzy, I think its what keeps me sane.
Tan- I've got the Baby Bjorn with extra back support and its brilliant. I reckon my Izzy would have to weight at least 5kgs (she's a serious boofa) and I can carry her in it for hours without any issues.
Kristen - good to hear Mia is sleeping a bit better. Hopefully she'll turn the corner for you very soon and sleep through that first sleep cycle so her mummy can get a really nice rest.
Sez - yay for Nicholas sleeping so much. I'm sure he's absolutely fine - just learning to appreciate just how wonderful sleep is!!
Dan - sounds like you had a lovely time with your mum - especially the shopping bit. I went out in the sales on Friday and was so disappointed with not finding anything :( And huge yay for Olivia sleeping so well.
Kelly - you must be relieved the mastitis is gone. I've got everything crossed for you that's the end of it and you can start enjoying feeds with Luke, or at least not dread them. I'm still waiting for the day I enjoy breast feeding - I really hope it comes soon.
Hi to all the other mums I've missed. I hope everyone has had a good weekend and that their football team didn't play like a bunch of big girls' blouses like mine did!!! Stoopid Eagles.
Oh well. Off to get dinner and then start the nightly battle of getting Isabelle to sleep. Hopefully we'll have a win tonight and get her down within something less than 3 hours!!
-
Hey gals,
Just off to bed now but just thought I would let you know that I have a HAB too and it is just the best.. Toby loves it and sleeps whenever he is in it.. And it doesn't hurt my back at all. They are soooo comfy. And hands free too to chase a toddler around!!hehehehe
Party last nite was good, and my lil man slept from 12 -7 again!! then till 9.30 so I felt great except a slight headache from the champagne!!hehehe
And the photo's I'll put on tommorow cause Nick has an RDO and I will get time to!!
Nighty Night!!
-
ok guys...i didnt want to say anything yesterday but i have to now....
for the past 2 nights, Mason has slept for TEN HOURS at night!!!
After screaming a lotyesterday, he fell asleep at his 6:30pm bottle. I was so sure he wouldnt sleep through the night but I was wrong!
He slept from 6:30 to 4:30am! Then had a 10minute bottle of EBM and slept till 8am! I cant believe his tummy can cope with that lack of milk.
we finally got to eat dinner together without scoffing our food. We got to snuggle on the couch and watch big brother in peace too. YAY! :D
Hey lulu, hope izzy goes back to sleeping longer.
Hey alex, cant wait to see the pics!
