Hi all :)
Just another quickie to say hello. I may not post much but i do try to have a quick read to see how you are all going with your gorgeous bubs.
We are doing well. Tia saw the cardiologist last week and all is going smoothly. If all continues as well it looks like we will be able to wait til she is 12 months (rather than 6) for her heart surgery - YAY!!! They would prefer her to be between 6-8kg and as she is only 3.5kg bare weight then we've still got a bit of a wait. That's all good news to us so we are feeling really happy about that.

Sarah - you poor thing. You must be so tired with all that. I tried waking Izzy so that I could get longer sleeps at night out of her but I found it was more disturbing to her than just leaving her be. Having said that, from your time table you unfortunately don't seem to have much to lose so I'd say give it a whirl - maybe wake him after a 4 hour sleep at the most. Have you thought about cutting down/out your lattes (gasp I hear you say :p). Maybe the caffeine is going through to Noah and upsetting his metabolism. Just a thought.
Kelly - I've found Izzy doesn't feed anywhere near as well from my right BB. No idea why but sometimes its a bit of a struggle getting her to concentrate - sometimes I almost have to forcibly hold her there.
Rae - good news your little girl is going well. Must be a relief for you to have her that little bit bigger and stronger before her surgery.
Sez - YAY for the driving. You must be starting to feel normal again. I hope the needles went well today - like Luke, Izzy only cried for a couple of minutes and then she was fine.
Danni - yep, makes perfect sense. I'll definitely be able to find you there. I really hope Mason has a better day tomorrow. Is it colic or is he just going through an unsettled grizzly patch?
My little princess has been amazing (god I hope I don't jinx it!). She is now sleeping 9-10 hours each night (has done for the last 5 nights) and today had three sleeps throughout the day, going down with a minute's grizzle and then out like a light. Same thing tonight. I've taken Lis' idea and mixing formula with breastmilk, although I'm doing it by alternating a breast feed then a formula feed. Will run it all by the paediatrician on Thursday and get his advice.

hey rae, glad to see you pop in.
lulu: i think it is a form of colic. I am waiting on a miracle mixture from padburys chemist in perth. its in the mail!

Ah yes. The famous Colic Mixture from Padbury. I've been giving it to Izzy for a few weeks now and it seems to be pretty good. Good luck with it.
