Hey Laurin,
I am so sorry to hear what has happened - its just devastating and just a really hard time. I hope your DH gets back soon to give you a big big hug. I know what you are going through it is tough but hang in there - I tried to just think that it wasnt meant to be and that sort of helped at the time xx
-
Hey girls just thought i would pop in and see how everyone is.
Laurin- how are things hun? Have been thinking of you. Is your dh back?
AnnaBelle and Leigh- how are you both going with your pg?
Kate...any news? Hows Bella? Looks like shes been sick on and off for a while. Poor little poppet.
AFM... all good! Girls are going well. Becca is getting 2 fand teeth and has been clingy. Olivia is a bit snotty. Her birthday is soon..I cant believe shes turning 3!
Pregnancy is going well i suppose! Base on the nausea and sore nipples. 3 weeks till my scan:) Looking forward to it.
-
Hi girls,
Sorry I have been MIA, I was logged out of BB & had trouble getting my new password, glad to have it all sorted.
Laurin - I am so sorry for your loss. I really hope you're ok. I've had 2 miscarriages myself & know it can be tough. Hope your DH arrived back quickly & you got plenty of support!
It's my bday on Monday & DH has organised dinner for us tonight coz he is working on Monday. He's organised a sitter for our girls. I'm really nervous coz Lara is such a mummy's girl at the moment & teething. I'm worried she'll scream the whole time. The girl has looked after them before but that was 7mths ago.
Sorry it's a short post, I will pop back tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!
-
Hi all!
Laurin - so sorry to hear of your loss. I miscarried before I had Sienna, so I also know how hard it is. You're in good company here, big hugs hon xxxxxx
Leigh - Happy birthday for today!! Hope you had a lovely dinner last night and hope Lara wasn't too distressed by being away from you.
Kate - glad you're home again, there's nothing worse than being away from home (especially in hospital!!!) when you're crook - glad to hear you're on the mend x
Well we're finally in our house - what a mission!! It still looks like a building site and we're missing quite a few of the basics, ie flyscreens on windows, rails and shelves in the walk-in robe etc - joy joy!! Sienna has been reasonably good, but very clingy which is to be expected. She's been a bit iffy with her sleep since before we moved, so I'm not sure if she's more unsettled at night or not. She's been pretty rank with teething, nasty molars. She's been doing horrid acidic poops in the middle of the night, and then she wakes up with terrible nappy rash in the morning. I've been using Daktozin which clears it up heaps by the night, but then she does the same again, and has it back in the morning, it's a vicious circle. The rash doesn't seem to be bothering her too much, but I feel terrible coz it looks absolutely atrocious - any tips??
So yeah, that's us in a nutshell - pretty stressed, pretty exhausted, but stoked to be in our own home, albeit rather like camping at the moment *sigh*
Sorry to drop in and drop out, but I'm at work at the moment and my break is almost over - sorry for not many personals, hopefully I'll get a chance to use the net at home a bit more soon.
Take care xx
-
Hi girls,
Thank you for all your kind words. Sorry I have been mia for a bit....we are getting there...and things seem to be starting to move in regards to naturally miscarrying rather than having a D&C so that is good.
Leigh - how did your birthday go, hope you had a wonderful day and Lara was ok.
Melly - how awesome you are in your new home, yay, at least you are in and now just have to get all the little things happening. Yep, I am sure it has unsettled Sienna but won't be long till she is back in the groove of things. The nappy rash sounds bad, I know some girls who recommend paw paw cream (target, chemist, maybe supermarket) for soothing bubs bum.
Mel - great your pg is going well.
Kate - how are you going with everything? How is Bella, hope she is on the mend and a happy chappy again.
We had viruses here - Rylee had mouth ulcers and a high temp - lasted 48 hours, then Finn got high temps and a rash on his bum and down his legs - lasted for about 4 days - not a fun home!
Okay, sorry if I have missed you, thanks again for your support again girls.
take care.

Happy Birthday Leigh. Hope your dinner was great. Have a good one today.
Melly- good to hear that youre finally in your home. Sorry to hear S is not sleeping well. We had a lot of trouble with Olivias poo when she was teething...great bum burners. No tips sorry, but the teething will end soon and so will that poo!
Laurin- good to hear things are moving along naturally. Sounds like youre having a rough time with everyone sick.
Kate- hows everything going?
Us- pg is good. Life in general is pretty ****e.I should be happy but my brother has just been diagnosed with testicular cancer, the pg announcement didnt go dwon well with my mum the other night. She was upset I didnt tell her first...so that put me in a foul mood. My dad is getting his biopsy results today...probably not good either. He has a longstanding illness, never the less its always hard to hear the news. My other brother is having a major jaw operation and wont be able to eat solids for 12 months.... What else! We were supposed to be having photos done of the girls and their cousins this morning, except Olivia would not cooperate and cracked it so we went home and she tantied for an hour more, now my sister has sent Olivia some bday pressies...just not practicle! What do you do? Thanks for listening. I am so ****ey today.
-
Mel, that sucks you poor thing!!
Sometimes it all gets a bit much doesn't it - and tantrumming kids certainly don't help, geez they pick their times well  Here's hoping that your brother's cancer is very minor and can be treated effectively. Same with your Dad, fingers crossed for a good biopsy result.
Hope things pick up again for you really soon - it's great to hear that your pg is going well!! xxx

Hey we had our scan today so no personals...I just want to talk about me me me!!!
It all went great. HB was 150bpm, measuring a bit ahead of time but only a few days. Neck thinkeness looked ok so hoping the results from the bloods give a low risk. It has a nasal bone...which is a good indicator (absence of nasal bone indecated DS), 10 fingers and 10 toes...didnt stop moving. I talked to her about the nub theory for gender and she had a look and although she said it wasnt 100% she said it look a little like a boy down there...but could just be swollen vagina. Anyway it excites me that the baby is there and looks good. I still dont think we will find out. Will see on the day of the next u/s...May31st!!! Oh and I have a posteria placenta. I had anterior with both the girls so should fell some more defined movement . Morning sickness is still going, although its really nothing to do with food smells...its poo! Something that I usually dont really care to much about. The smell, the thought..makes me dry wretch! Doing dog poo runs horrify me and the walk to the bucket every day has me bent over near the plum tree trying not to up chuck!! Oh the joys. And whats with my super sore nipples? I would have to say that this m/s is so much more intense and longer than the girls.
Other news my brother had his surgery last week...just waiting for results. Also the girls great great grandma/dhs great grandma passed away last week. We have her funeral on Wednesday. All is well otherwise!!!
Hope everyone else is doing well,
-
Congratulations Mel on a fantastic scan  Bet you are so releived!!! Wonder if it is a little boy you are baking. Maybe the ms being here for longer is an indicator that it is???
I still reckon I am having another girl. I will be totally shocked if its a boy. Going for a 3D scan on the 29th of April (I will be 28 wks then). Still determind not to find out the sex. I am actually really enjoying not knowing. DH and I both said we will be disappointed if we accidentally find out at the 3D scan. I think I will tell the sonographer straight away that we don't want to know the sex.
Nothing much happening my end, only that I am really tired but can't sleep well at night coz I can't get comfy. I don't get any sleep during the day either so I just have to deal with it. I am nervous how I will juggle being so tired with a newborn and 2 other kids to run around after. Especially with DD1 at school, even if I have had not much sleep at night I will still have to get up and get her ready for school. I will be a zombie.
Gotta go, hope you're all well!!!
-
Hi Girls,
Quiet in here. Just popping in to say hi and to see how you are all going? Nothing much to report here.
-
Hey Leigh,
yes it is quiet in here. I am on almost everyday but dont have too much to report! Things are going well. I am 14 weeks pg today. I had my u/s last week and got my results today. I am in the normal range however the nurse wasnt able to give me risk factor, so will wait til my next gp appointment in 2 weeks. I am still undecided if I will go ahead and have the swine flu vacc. Probably not... have you had it?
Pregnancy is going well. It is so very different to the girls. The m/s has stayed longer; actually its still going. My boobs are hot and sore, I am so tired, no sex drive. I havent gained any weight, it seems to have gone from my legs to my belly and boobs. Its so very different. I think I might be having a boy. The u/s lady had a look and she thinks that it may be a boy but no guarentees because its so early. Unsure if we are finding out yet. I would really like a suprise, but I think even if we dont find out I will analysthe dvd until I work it out!
Not sleeping too well. rebecca is cutting all her fangs. She has 2 through and the other 2 are almost there. Olivia is up every night for a toilet stop. Then theres the dog!
Enough about me...how are you going?
-
Mel - I am on here most days too but only really post when I have news or when I am checking to see how someone is getting on etc. Wow I can't beleive you are 14wks already, it has gone so quick. Hope your m/s eases up soon. Wonder if you are carrying a little boy in there. I am still certain that I've got another girl on the way. I don't mind though, I love having girls. I don't have anything for a boy so will need to send mum shopping when I am in hospital for all boy stuff.
I am 27wks tomorrow already. Going for a 3D scan next Thursday, can't wait.
In regards to the swine injection I actually had mine done when I took Lara for her 12 month needles. I was 3 wks pregnant at the time but didn't know it.
My kids are doing well. I am getting so sick of Lara climbing up onto everything, including the dining room table. It's driving me nuts. She fell off it the other day but of course she hasn't learnt her lesson. She is also starting to throw tantrums (starting the terrible 2's early, DD1 did that too). At the moment if Lara doesn't get her own way she sits on the floor and throws herself back so her head slams onto the floor. Not nice when its on the tiles. Then of course she screams coz it hurts her. Grrr its annoying!!!
Gotta go, I have DD1 harping on me to play snakes and ladders.
-
Hi ladies,
Im on everyday to but dont really have anything to report!
Mel - wow 14 weeks! Thats awesome and I have my fingers crossed for a blue one!
Leigh - nearly 28 weeks! WOW! Glad everything is going well!
I am good and Bella is good - we are both getting over the cold / flu and we still have rattly chests and coughes but getting better by the day.
We are still TTC but this month is a bit bust as I had to have my gall bladder out in the middle of my cycle so that kinda put a stop to it! But DH is very keen to get a little sibbling for Bella on the go so thats good news!
Bella is no stop! She runs and talk non stop! She can say her name, and about 30 words and she can sing the alphabet and twinkle twinkle and incy wincy! She is also cutting all her eye teeth now too.. but apart from the drool she is doing so well!! She is back to sleeping 12 hrs at night and goes to bed by 8 at the lattest so thats nice!
I hope all is well with everyone!!
Love kate
-
Hi Ladies
Yes, I am another lurker but don't have much news so don't post (slack :)) but love hearing your news. Mel and Leigh your pregnancy's are flying along, how exciting. Mel, wonder if you will be getting a little boy blue :) Your girls will lurve him to pieces that is for sure.....Leigh - three little princesses will be divine!
We are all well here, both kids doing well and don't stop, sleeping isn't too great for either at the moment, so I am knackered, urgh ... hope it is just a phase (short one!).
Kate - lots of baby dust for you....
Hi to everyone else : big wave:
Laurin x
-
Hi all,
Yep, I'm a slacker too - I sneak in and check for new posts and then sneak out again
Not much going on with us - Sienna's sleeping is still all over the place, but I have discovered (i hope!!!) that an earlier day sleep and an earlier bed time seems to be helping. She's started stringing together 2-3 word sentences which is pretty exciting, but it also means she is more demanding now that she can express what she wants (or more regularly, what she DOESN'T want  ). I'm starting her in music classes on Thursday morning coz she loves singing, dancing and just making a heck of alot of noise in general. Should be fun!
We're off to Nelson Bay (up the north coast of NSW) for four nights on Thursday arvo and I can't wait!!! Building the house has been a HUGE stress and has unfortunately caused many fights with DH and myself so it will be nice to have some downtime, just the three of us.
So exciting to hear how the pregnancies within our group are proceeding!! Boy, the time is flying!! Still no thoughts of TTC #2 here :-)
That's about it from us - take care all xxx
-
Yay good to see some of you back in here. I must admit its hard to post when not a lot has changed.
Kate- wow Bella has a great vocab. You must be so proud. Rebecca just babbles, but constantly. She has about maybe 10 words that I can understand, the rest... dunno! Hope you are feeling better soon.
Melly- have a great trip away. Must have been tough on you, you had a baby, then building. It certainly strains relationships.
Lauren- how are you? Have been wondering how you went after your micarriage. Hope things worked out smoothly.
I woke up sick today with a rotten head cold. Becca is sick too but shes also just cutting 3 eye teeth so it makes it hard to work out whats wrong. Shes had a couple of high temps over the past 48 hours, so just keeping an eye one her. Shes otherwise happy. Sleep isnt fantastic here...mainly with Liv getting up for toilet stops and Becca with temps...and the dog!
Ok better get off the net, time to cook!
-
Hi Girls
Mel - Lara is the same with her speaking as Rebecca. I don't think it helps that when I ask Lara something that Cadence buts in and answers for her, although Cadence was pretty much at the same pace as Lara with talking until she hit around the 2yr mark and since then she hasn't shut up so the longer Lara stays quiet the more peace and quiet I get lol. Hope your cold is gone soon!
Melly - Wow at Sienna's talking. Hope she has fun at music, bet she'll love it. Have fun on your trip away this weekend. Sounds nice, I'm jealous!!!
Kate - Sounds like Bella is going great with her speech too. Hope you've recovered from getting you gall bladder out. Very exciting that your DH is keen on getting a sibling for Bella.....fingers crossed it wont take too long!
Laurin - Glad to hear you're well! Hope sleeping improves soon.
Not much to report from me. I am going for a 3D scan on Thursday, can't wait. Hope we get some great pics. Friday I have to go for my GTT (second GTT for this pregnancy). I'm not looking forward to the results, seeing as I had GD while pregnant with Lara I am sure to have it again this time. Last time I was only borderline of having it and could easily control it with what I ate so I am hoping if I do have it again I can easily control it again. On Thursday I will only have 8 wks to go until my c/s. I have absolutely nothing organised for this baby yet. Its room is still our spare room which I will need to clean out. We need to buy a chest of drawers for its clothes. Im glad we haven't found out the sex but I am finding it hard buying all neutral stuff. I reckon it still looks like boys clothes and don't really want to dress a girl in them..........I still reckon bub is a girl.
-
Wow Leigh...2 months to go! How exciting/nerve wrecking! So much to do. Liv was the same with her speech too, then hit the 2 year mark that was it. Now its non stop! Bec talks and talks and talks....but its all her words with a few ones I understand thrown in the mix. It will be interesting to see her in 6 months time with her word explosion. I dont think she will shut up!
Have fun at your scan and luck with your gtt.
-
Melissa - Lara talks non stop too in her own language with a few words thrown in. I know, 2mths will fly. I was just saying to DH before that we'd better start getting organised, hes so relaxed though and will leave things til the last minute and then it will be a big rush, think I might have to start nagging him lol. We've got the computer desk in the spare room (bub's room) which will have to be shifted out into the lounge or dining room. I don't really want it to go out there coz its always a mess but that's the only place we can put it.
-
Hi girls!
Sorry I havent been here in so long, I keep forgetting to check in! :wall:
WOW to those with talking toddlers! Mia isn't saying anything other than Mumma and Dadda! But she does babble alot and "read" books in her own language, lol.
Like most, I dont have much to report. Busy chasing Mia everywhere!
Leigh wow how quick has that gone! Good luck with your scan!
Mel how are you guys feeling? I hope you all got over your sickness :( Yay for the great scan!! I miss being pregnant, lol. I hope your brother is ok.
Kate Bella sounds so clever! Yay to TTC! Yucky eye teeth, I think Mia has some coming too, all her teeth seem to be sprouting out at once!
Laurin Im so sorry to hear of your loss :(
Melly sounds like Sienna is a chatter too, she is soo gorgeous! Have a great trip away!
Hope I didnt miss anyone...
What does everyone dress their bubs in at night? Im putting her in a wondersuit and a fleecy sleeping bag on top....but she is still waking cold I think! Might add a singlet..
-
Wow Skye welcome back:) We are all sick here...except dh but I dont think that it will be too long before he does come down with something! We all have head colds/chesty stuff happening. Not too fun, but what do you do? Thanks for asking, my brother is ok, he had his testical removed and a nice new one put in! He starts chemo next week. Hes having a lot of emotion issues at the moment...hes getting married in july so I dont know if they will put if off or not. As for night dressing, both my girls wear a tshirth with long flannel pjs on. They refuse socks. They only have a doona on their bed but we have central heating set at either 19 or 20 over night. Hope that helps.
Am feeling a little dizzy after my 5am start today, so going to go lay down:)
-
Hi girls,
Sky- good to hear from you. I live in Cairns & we're still in summer pjs for bed so I'm not much help to you....sorry
Mel - hope you & ur girls get better soon. Is Bec still in a cot or bed now?
My scan today, can't wait. I'm sure I'll be back later with some news!
Have a great day!
-
HI Skye, great to see you back here, Finn isn't really talking much, Mumma, Dadda, and then says words but doesn't say them again. I think his big sister does all the talking for him. I dress both kids in those warm thick fleecy all-in-one suits that you can get from Target - with singlet, Finn has a Tshirt too. Then Rylee has a doona and Finn has blankets, it is getting cold here in Melbourne esp at nights.
Okay, kids want breakfast, better get back to it. We had an early start, I am exhausted already, need a few coffees to rev me up :)
Laurin
-
Have fun at your scan Leigh:) Bec is still in the cot. I plan on keeping her there until this new one cant fit into the bassinett. So maybe by feb next year I will look at getting her into a bed. I suppose it depends on her too and our hous situation. If we dont do major renos in the next few months, then I will have to get bunk beds in the girls room so we can fit in the cot as well.
Crap...I feel crap!
Hi Lauren.... hope you get some rest. I hate early starts!
-
Laurin - my sister lives in melb & said it's been cold. Yuck I don't think I could handle the cold weather you guys get.
Mel - I'm keeping lara in her cot until the baby can't fit in the bassinet anymore too. Lara was in it for 4mths so I'm hoping bub will be too coz that way Lara will be almost 2 & ready for a bed. There's no way she could be in a bed now, she moves around way too much.
-
OMG Mel you are already 16 weeks! :o That's gone fast! Are you feeling any movement?
Leigh it has been cold in Melb, especially at nights. I'd love to live where you do!! Luckily I don't feel the cold much, so all ok....sometimes I forget that, and don't put enough layers on Mia. Yeah, I'd keep Lara in the cot for as long as possible! Lol. I loved the bassinett :)
Laurin Im soooo happy to hear that Mia isnt the only toddler not talking much. I was getting a little worried. The little boy I nanny says so many things! He can communicate really well. Sounds like we dress the kids in similar things at night :)
Mia did a big vomit the other night, I think her carpet is ruined. Arghh!
Ok off to bed :)
-
Hi sky, good to hear from you. Lara doesn't talk much at all either. Well She says a few words I can understand but the rest of the time it's in her own language. She doesn't seem to shut up in her own language tho ha ha. DD1 was the same til she turned 2 or a bit later so I'm not really concerned yet. I do see kids younger than lara saying more than her too. Hope Mia was ok after her big vomit & that you can get the stains out of the carpet.
Nothing much else to report from me. Hope you're all well!
-
Bec is the same not many words just babble.
Leigh...how was your scan?
-
Scan was great. Bubs wasn't in the best position but still got some good shots. Haven't had a chance to post pics yet. We never found out the sex & that was my last scan so we won't know til it's born. Had my GTT on Friday, still haven't heard what the results are so I'm hoping no news is good news, although I have an ob appt tomorrow so they might just be waiting for me to come in to tell me. I was borderline of having it with Lara but was treated as having it so my guess is I will have it this time. My carpel tunnel is so bad, I had it really bad with DD1 too.
-
Hi Girls,
Had an appt at the hospital this morning. Everything is going well. My fundal height is measuring 30 wks, I am currently 29 so not too bad. The ob I had today had a student with him and they were undecided where bubs head was (if it was down etc) so I was lucky enough to have another quick scan. I didn't find out the sex. Bub is in the breech position at the moment and theyre not concerned if it doesn't turn coz I am having a c/s anyway. Heart rate was 143 bpm. I did get some bad news though......I have GD again. I knew I would so I'm not shocked or anything. Hopefully I can control it again without requiring insulin, like how I did with Lara. Only 7 wks til my c/s. I'm still not organised at all.
Hope you're all well!!!
-
Hi girls
Leigh I can't believe you have 7 weeks to go, excellent! Sorry to hear about your GD again, I remember you had it with Lara, so you know how you can control it with your diet, good luck.
Sorry no more personals, off to make sausage casserole for dinner. Both the kids are coughing and runny nose, I like winter, but not all the coughs/colds that come with it.
Take care girls.
Laurin x
-
Oh sorry about the GD Leigh, hopefully it will be ok because you know what to eat, etc. Do you have any feelings as to what the sex might be?
Laurin- yummo, what do you make the sausage casserole with?
I was going to get an early night but Im just not tired. I was tossing and turning all night last night, and Mia decided at 3am bottle might be fun  so I SHOULD be tired, but Im not! Oh well, might go and read!
Night all :)
-
Hi girls, thought i would pop in and say hi. i have been having trouble trying to get Bec to sleep as of late. She has all her teeth except the back molars, so unless shes getting those...I dont know whats going on! Her day sleep is up the put. She takes ages to go to sleep. Same deal with the night one and most nights shes not sleeping til about 930. She sleeps through most nights but am just thinking if she may be getting ready to drop her sleep all together. Shes still on 2 bottles of milk a day...at sleep time, although at night shes always wanting more...maybe growth spurt! Shes a bit of a sparrow when it comes to eating...just picks all day. Her language is still the same, she doesnt stop yabbering although its mainly babble! Shes a climber and a runner, so I have my hands very full most days. Its going to be very interesting when it comes to having #3 on board. All is going well with the pregnancy so I think! My tummy is getting bigger, so are my boobs. Have been feeling light movement for 2 weeks now.
Well I hope everyone is doing well.
-
Hi girls,
Mel - hope Bec's sleep gets better for you soon & that it's just a phase she is going through. My fingers are crossed she isn't ready to drop her day sleep just yet. Lara sounds so similar to Bec, running & climbing, bit of a sparrow at eating & her language is the same. I think I will have my hands full when my bub comes along too, especially since Lara is a mummys girl. I took Lara for her 18mth check up & needle the other day. She weighs 10.9 kg. Dr & nurse said she's a perfectly healthy little girl. It's so exciting you've started to feel some light movements, makes it feel more real hey! I've only got 6wks til my c/s now, I'm not organised, you wouldn't even know a baby is coming into this house, gotta get it's room ready yet. It's hard finding the time with Lara running wild. Cadence turns 5 tomorrow, I can't believe she is 5 already, the years have gone so quick.
Hi to everyone else, gotta go coz I can hear Lara pulling stuff out of one of the cupboards!
Have a great weekend
-
Leigh Happy Birthday to Cadence..hope she had a great day. Not too long left now! So very exciting. Am sure youll start organising stuff soon. Good to hear Lara is doing well. I got Becs needle done the other day and am off to the health nurse on Tuesday. I know shes already 12kgs, but shes really tall. I think she will be taller than her sister at the same age!
My pg is going well. I have 8 days til my scan. Baby is moving around more. Just starting to get excited!
Ok better run!
-
Hi Girls,
Mel - Good to hear everything is going well. Are you still keeping the sex a surprise at the scan? Can't wait to hear how you go. Fingers crossed you're having a boy. I still think mine is another girl. I will be happy either way as long as its healthy. A month from tomorrow my baby will be born (24th June). That will put me at exactly 36 wks. I am praying I don't go into labour before then, as you know if I labour my body wont handle it and more than likely rupture which can be fatal for me and bub. I wen't into labour at 37 wks with both Cadence and Lara so heres hoping I don't go before 36wks for some reason. I keep thinking only a month left of Lara being my baby. We still haven't fully decided on names yet. We think we have first names picked but no middle names. Bub's room is still our spare room so I really must start clearing it all out. Its not that messy so it shouldn't take too long........well I hope not anyway. Have you got names picked for your bub? I am going for a growth scan on the 1st of June coz when they measured my fundal height I am measuring 3 cm over. I know with Lara towards the end of my pregnancy I was measuring 4 cm over with her but I didn't get a growth scan but everyone told me I would be having a big baby and she was so tiny born 2.7kg and only 42cm long so who knows how big this one will be. Being born at 36wks it wouldn't be too bad if it was a bit bigger anyway. Bub is still in the breech position but coz I am having a caesar it doesn't really matter if it doesn't turn.
How is everyone else going?
-
Good to hear from you Leigh. Still hoping to leave it a suprise, but i suppose we will work it out on the day! I have some names.... we decided to keep with the 'a' ending/sounding names for a girl, because I am melissa, then olivia then rebecca...which we did without realising it! So I think we have aggreed on Jessica Elizabeth for a girl and Patrick Stephen for a boy. It seems weird writing it down!
All the best for the next moth. It sure is going very quickly!
-
Hey Mel,
Love the names you have picked. I think its great you're keeping with the 'a' ending if bub is a girl. Do you have any feelings on what you think you might be having? Is your belly showing heaps? I'm going to miss my pregnant belly, especially as this is my last bub. Are you guys having anymore bubs or settling for 3 as well? I'm still freak out a bit when I think about the sleepless nights again and how I will handle having 3 children while sleep deprived. Both Cadence and Lara were great sleepers pretty much from the beginning so my fingers are crossed this one isn't a night owl!
-
Hey Leigh,
Thanks, I like them too. Have you got names or did I already ask you that! Seriously my brain is fried! This is most likely it for us. The only chance of having number 4 is if we came into a heap of money! Financially 3 is it! 4 means new car and rearranging our house plans.... I dont know how my body would cope though with another pregnancy. This time I am sticking out front, like a basket ball. With the girls I was round all over! I am thinking maybe a boy...but its a big maybe because I truely think that its most likely a girl with DHs side of the family producing all girls! I dont mind though. I have 5 more days til our u/s. It will be good seeing the little one. Am hoping not to find out...it will be all good. Even if we did find out we wont be telling. However I would love the suprise. I hope you get a good sleeper too. I have had bad sleepers! Olivia was crap and still wakes most nights and rebecca has only just come good (fingers crossed). I am going to try and breast feed again this time. I have a new health nurse who used to be a lactation consultant so shes given me a few tips... but whatever happens!
Hows your organising going??? Am thinking you'll do a last minute rush on the bedroom! We will be having the baby in our room for a while and then popping it in with the girls. I will have to get Bec out of the cot and will have to invest in some low lying bunks. Am hoping its a good sleeper coz I dont want them all waking up in the night!!! We are holding off on our renos for a while till money comes our way..lol... so will have to have all of them sharing.
Ok enough of me!

Mel - Pretty sure Kai for a boys name (well thats the boys name we had picked while pregnant with both girls). Haven't decided on a middle name yet. DH's name is Michael so maybe that??? As for a girl we're still deciding, names I like DH doesnt and vice versa. With the way you are carrying I would say you're having a boy too. I was round all over with my girls too and I am this time as well so that's another reason why I reckon I am having another girl, but you never know, I could just be one of those people who carries like that no matter what sex the baby is. As you know I can't have anymore kids so I am getting my tubes tied during my c/s but I think we would've stopped at 3. Same reason as you guys that we'd need a bigger car and we can't really afford it unless we won lotto or something. I'm still deciding on how I'm going to feed this bub. With Cadence I breast fed her and Lara was bottle fed. I honestly found bottle feeding a lot easier. I would love to try breastfeeding again to but I just don't know how I will handle sitting up all night feeding then up early to get Cadence to school and then dealing with Lara all day as well. I know I sound selfish just thinking about me but I think I'm also a bit scared to breastfeed again. My friend just had a baby and she bottle fed her first baby and now thought she'd give breast feeding a go with her 2nd and she is having such a hard time. I guess I will wait and see when the time comes. I said to DH I would love to try it in hospital but if I hate it the midwives wont let me change to formula coz they're really pushy. My baby may end up in special care being born at 36 wks anyway so I don't know if they'd make me express if I wanted to breastfeed or what will happen. If you end up leaving the sex a surprise at the scan will you tell us on here? I will be dying to know lol. We hard Lara in our room at our old place in the bassinet for the first 4 months or so and then she shared a room with Cadence but at our new house there isn't room in our bedroom for our bassinet coz the room is quite small to accomodate the walk in robe and ensuite so the baby will be in its own room from day one. Lara will still be in the cot and I am hoping to shift her into a bed when she turns 2 coz that's when I put Cadence in a bed. I just hope the baby can fit in the bassinet for that long. I'm not looking forward to putting Lara in a bed coz when Cadence went into her bed it was a bit of a nightmare everynight to get her to bed at night coz she kept climbing out and she could reach her door handle and kept coming out into the loungeroom. I don't think Lara will be able to reach the door handles here coz theyre a bit higher. Hopefully when you're bub goes into the room with the girls that they are no dramas and they all sleep well for you.
