Either 2 children get in free with every adult ticket (save $34), or buy 1 adult ticket get one free (save $37). With school hols coming up it would be a great day out. PM me and I can send you the link to download the coupon :)
It looks like Logan's next two teeth have finally just poked through (second two at the top). He was up every 2 hours last night... so draining!!!
Natasha - mid October is great for me during the week. How exciting that we are finally going to get together :)
-
*BUMP* Anyone here??? How is everyone going? I hope you and you bubs are all well. I have now come down with a yucky head cold so off to bed early tonight (and on my wedding anniversary too!!) Sovereign Hill offer is still valid if anyone is interested.
Not sure if I mentioned that Logan has now got next teeth at the top - so 4 on top and 2 on bottom. Still not crawling (not even close) which I am enjoying. He doesn't even get on his hands and knees.
-
Enjoy the not crawling phase - it won't last much longer.
What does 'bump' mean??
-
Hey ladies
hope you're feeling better Kyle. Happy anniversary. How many years?
Yay for teeth! Don't worry about nt crawling - trust me, it's so much easier when they just stay put! ha! Piper was crawling at 4.5months so I was wrapt that lily waited just a little longer. Now the little midget is into everything!
Goodnight!
Natasha

Omg...I haven't been getting notifications and you've all been chatting away like crazy!!
It is far too late for me to catch up now but I will tomorrow definitely!!
Hope you're all well!! Chat tomorrow!
-
Hi everyone!
I have fallen behind too!!! Hope all the kids are well and mums too! I will be back later to try and catch up....I am off for a swim now (desperate times)...
xx
-
Natasha - Crawling at 4.5 months is insane!!!! Don't worry I am enjoying it. I have left him on his little fold out couch (early bday present from grandma) whilst I am checking emails and he will prob still be there when I get back :) We have just been married for 2 years now it doesn't feel that long.
Robyn - I was just sort of sending a sort of electronic nudge lol as no-one had posted for about a week.
-
Hi!
Kylie - Happy Anniversary!! Hope you're feeling better!! Yeah at all the toothie pegs!! In regards to cows milk...I can't remember - LOL!!! I'll have to look it up in my baby diaries...Ethan already has cows milk on his cereal though so I know he doesn't have any issues with it. I'm going to drop the lunch/arvo feed in the next week or so and I won't replace it with anything but water (he has a yoghurt with lunch) and then when I drop the night feed I'll offer him a sippy cup of milk - I'll proabably do that in the next 3 or 4 weeks...and then I drop the morning feed and I won't replace that with anything - he'll just have his brekky earlier...So he'll have milk with his brekky, yoghurt at lunch and milk after dinner - on top of that he has cheese in his s/w and cheese often in his dinner - that's tonnes of dairy!! The only goodness dairy has is calcium so we don't want to fill them up too much on it...Hope that helps!!!?? Dylan was fully weaned at 11 1/2 months because he didn't want it anymore and he went straight onto cows milk and was fine...
Shell - Hope your son went well at his high school orientation! Very exciting! It is nice having a birthday party for the kids!! We'll have one for Ethan with family and friends - just a bbq or something...we've had fairly low key ones with each time - probably about 20-30 people...
Playgroup is fun -we attend one as well and the kids love it - we dont' make it every week and most of the time we're late but it's still good - and it helped me meet new people when we moved over here!
Enjoy af being away - I think it's different for everyone??? Are you still bf? I usually took about 9m (and then would be p/g again although this time was a bit earlier thus why I'm already 3m p/g! LOL!!!
Have the kids settled into care?? How great that your daughter will go and help out when they're there!!!
Natasha - I'd love a catch up - I can do midweek in mid oct but weekends are out...we're all booked up - crazy!! Botanic gardens sounds great!
Ooh yeah...I'm with you on the little tantrums - Ethan cracks it a lot - or if he's eating and he's waiting for more he yells out - he can be so loud now - he's a mummys boy as well...I think he's going to be very misplaced when the next bubba arrives!!
LOL at hassling dh for another bubba!! Very exciting - when do you think you'll ttc??
KIrra - I saw your facebook pictures - looked like you were enjoying the stripper a lot! LOL!!! Thanks for dropping off the chefs toolbox stuff...
I'm with you - I wouldn't be comfortable having a home birth but I love the idea!!
I haven't been to the new pools either - I really must do it when the kids are all better!
How's Charli's ears going??
Hi to Mak,
Robyn - You poor thing with no furniture yet!! Yeah on the swimming lessons - we use the huggies swim nappies and some boardies and a rashy over the top!!
Would love a catch up but I'm in Melb also!!
I took the kids to the Melb Show last Fri - had the BEST time...was so great - I would say any kids from 2 would LOVE it!! I want to go back! LOL! They had so much fun though! We prob won't go next year because we'll only have a 6mo (and it was pretty hard with Ethan who doesn't really like the pram) so it was great to take them this year...so couldn't afford it but never mind - you only live once! LOL!
Ethan has had another tooth pop through -his top one so he now has 3!! We're all getting sick again at the moment but other than that I feel like my energy is starting to return a little bit which is good!!
My house was an absolute health hazard last week and MIchael and I finally got it clean on Sunday...now I'm struggling to keep it that way - LOL!!!
I can feel a little tiny baby bump now which is exciting - I hate this inbetween stage though where you don't look p/g you just look like you've stacked on 5kg...LOL!
What do you guys think of the name Jorja for a girl??? Not that we'll probably have to worry about it but I want to have the boy/girl names decided on by our 20w scan...
Ok...it's taken me ages to write this...chat later!!
-
Hi Ladies
Just a quickie from me - I'll come back when I have a little more time to chat (I have a few orders to fill! Yay, not complaining about that!)
Just wanting to try & get this catch up sorted because these things alwaysake forever to sort out!
So, for Melbourne girls, is anyne free to catch up on Wednesday 14 October or Friday 16th October. Let me know which day suits. If they don't suit anyone we'll try again with another couple of date!
Ok
Ciao
-
Hi!
Natasha - Fri 16th is great for me - might be able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone as the p/g baby and childrens expo is on at Jeffs shed!!
-
Oh ****! Is it on that date!
As much as I love getting everything out f the ay, maybe not such agood idea as Bubs & kids may be tired/grumpy/****ty (me too, you know me & crowds!).
Perhaps the next Friday - 23rd October anyone?
Ciao
-
I'm free whenever you ladies decide :)
-
LOL Natasha - No worries- 23rd is good for me also!!
-
Hi ladies! How are you all?
Just popping in quickly as Samuel will be waking up soon. He has 8 teeth now! The last three have appeared pretty quickly and without too much fuss. He is cruising around all the furniture and has started to climb on things aswell, the little monkey. In the last few days he's started to stand on his own for a bit. The look on his face is hilarious! - A mixture of concentration and awe!
ATT - Samuel will be in childcare for about 9 hours so I might ask about trial days too. For him and for me!! ;) It won't be til January which is ages away. I'm just nervous about it!
For the those of you who are meeting up - enjoy your catch up!
It's actually not raining in Perth today. A rare event these days it seems and the weekend looks like it going to be nice so hopefully we'll be able to get into some gardening.
Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Wow - sounds like everyone is moving and has teeth - both still no shows here!
I am back to work in a week - just Wed/Fri but am not sure how we will all get out in time.
Melanie - it is raining here today too - makes the gardening more urgent, all a bit out of control here. Ash has had 2 shorter days in care, we also did 2 days of orientation. She seems happy enough - it is just me that is not!!! I found it really hard leaving her, but I am a big sook.
Kylie - Happy anniversary - sorry to hear you were ill, we were so pathetic this year and both forgot our anniversary....Ash was 8 weeks and it was all a blur.
Robyn - I hope that you are all settling in well and getting set up - how are the swimming lessons???
Natasha - How did Lily's party go???
Kristie - I love the name, hope you are managing to get some rest!!
Kirra - Hope Charli's ears are getting better - my eldest had heaps of trouble with hers, it was awful.
Shell - You are great managing to study as well!! Af just arrived here after Ash being weaned for 6 weeks - so sounds completely normal to me. High school sounds v grown up.....hope your son enjoys it all.
Take care!! x
-
Hi!
Melsa - Wow - Samuel sounds like he's going super well! 8 teeth!!! It's so cute seeing them look so proud of themselves when they achieve someting hey?
Mak - Good luck heading back to work - 2 days is a nice amount - not too much time away!! I hear you on getting ready in the morning...luckily most days I don't have to be up early, I'm hopeless!!
I can understand missing your anniversary when bubs was only 8 weeks...It would have been hard to celebrate!
I found Ethan on the couch yesterday! LIttle bugger looked so proud of himself! He had climbed up the kids little fold out couch to get up there so needless to say it's been moved away now...
His 4th toothy peg is through!! Still sleeping through the night every night though which is amazing!! My first 2 never ever do that (and pretty much still don't!!!)
Ok..better do some housework although I REALLY don't want to! Chat later!
-
Mak - good luck with working - I hope i can get a 2 day job when we are more settled.
We have had two swimming lessons. The first one he was like a little fish, the second one he kind of grizzled the whole way through it. I am kind of hoping it wasbecause he was tired  as i would like him to love swimming.
Just wondering are any of you having sleeping isses with bubs at the moment. Ben hasn't really had a good nights sleep since we moved over here. WE are both shattered, probably more DH as he has been getting up at nights as I keep sleeping right through it. He doesn't seem to ahve any more teeth coming through which is instinctively the first thought. Maybe he is still a bit unsettled from moving??
Hope you are all well - I wish I could catch up with you all. It is a bit difficult living in city with not knowing anyone. Poor Ben will be 1 soon and no friends here to celebrate with.
-
Hi!
Robyn - Nup...no sleep problems here...BUT he's the only 1 of my children to not have them at this age! LOL! It's hard to know why they wake up sometimes...My 2yo Dylan still wakes up 1 - 2 times a night for who knows what reason - drives us crazy!!
Yeah the swimming lessons - can take them a while to get used to it!! I'm sure he'll love them!
Have you looked up and playgroups in your area??? It's a great way to meet people - I've met a few people through ours when we moved and it's jut nice to know they're nearby if needed!!
Not much here - Ethans being a little cling on to me still...drives me crazy sometimes but I get the best cuddles and kisses from him!! He's practising his walking heaps and can take a few steps now - he loves walking behind the little block trolley or doggy push along thing he's got!! I can also walk with him for a short distance just holding one hand - my little boys growing up!!! OMG!!!
Other than that I'm just so lethargic...can't be bothered with anything really...I'm over myself! LOL! This was my biggest worry being p/g again - just not being quite the mum I want to be with my boys because it takes so much energy out of me p/g and still bf...never mind -this is def the last time - LOL!!!
Hope you all enjoy your weekends!!
