WOOHOOOO look at you Christy! Sexy new do!
Yeah!! That was my mother's day pressy but its just taken me ages to redo the avatar, well actually I got Ambah to do it because I truely am not that good at computer stuff. Yeah yeah I know I'm a mod and have computer issues
Vicky I've had to deal with PND, and with Matilda when I went to the sleep school it was awful... the info they gave was so against what my heart was & the amount of times I was pacing the driveway just to breathe and be able to cope through the hour... I couldn't count.
Ill post some pics of her curtains and room tmrw VIcky.....it looks super cute!! Theres some pics on her site atm from before the new curtains went up.
I hope Chelsea likes butterflies! LOL
Yes Christy - love your new hair do - meant to say b4.
Sexy Mumma Christy :)
Thanks girls... having a mummy melt down day. I just had breakfast at 1pm after I phoned DH to come home from work to help out. Matilda is sick again and just going between tantrums to jumping off furniture... and Jovie won't settle, has to be held. The sling isn't even working today. I "think" its teeth but no idea really. I just gave them both panadol & demazin for their noses and I've eaten breaky and now am going to go have a shower.
Hugs Christy, good that DH is able to come home and help out.
Love the new hair do!!
DH was going to stay home today... since 1am ive had stomach cramps, migraine and vomitting... but i know how much work he has on and to do before we fly out on Thursday i sent him packing. To top it off Chelsea wont stop spewing her food up....as just gone back to bed now. Ill think of breaky and shower soon!
Just to let u know ive just put the pics of her new room up on Chel's site if you want to have a looky :)
Love the new pic of your girls Christy. And great new do too!
Vicky - that's a gorgeous pic of DH. That cuddle just oozes love :)
Kim - what a clever girl! She obviously knows she's winning hearts by saying dadda. Ella is saying "Ba" other than that she's babbling away in her own special way.
As mothers do what we can and what we think is right for the family. Its so hard. DH looks at me and says "what do we do" as if i've been doing it for my whole life. I always say "i dont know, but i guess we need to try something". Even for those who already have kids each one is so different.
DH left work this morning telling me work is going to get "crazy busy" for the next 3 weeks and not to expect him to be around much. I'm disappointed but we'll get through it somehow and I'll wrangle a favour from him at the end of it ;)
Ella had her first sunday roast on the weekend. Apple+Pumpkin+Pork and lots and lots of gravy. (before everyone gasps, it wasnt my idea) Blame the ILs! One minute i'm feeding her pumpkin and apple with pork and the next minute (while i was eating) they were spooning gravy into her mouth. She loved it! I had to sit on my hands to stop myself from pulling the spoon away. I thought "relax Ann" its just a cup of gravy. Yes a tea cup of gravy! My MIL had a go, FIL had a go and DH had a go at feeding Ella. Just when did i get so conservative? I just cant see any nutritional value in gravy....but then maybe she enjoyed the flavor.
Otherwise she's still having apple with everything haha. :)
Ann
Kim the room is so cute. Love those curtains too!
Ann
Kim I love the lamp in Chelsea's room!! Gorgeous.
Ann how hard is it to stop yourself LOL! I find I get all upset and then I have to think "its only..." Although I did get ropable when neighbours first gave Matilda some ice cream when she was 16 weeks old!!! LOL I hadn't even started feeding her solids yet & I turn around & they are sticking ice cream in her mouth  Took me a while to get over it.
I'm going back to work part-time and my MIL is taking Ella for a day and we'll have a nanny for the other 2 days. When she found out she said "i dont like the idea of nannies. I'll take her for 3 days". Can you imagine how much gravy you can give a child in 3 days??! LOL
Anyway, its our decision on whether we want a nanny or granny to take Ella. Her concern was that they'll physically discipline ella. I hadn't even considered that a problem until she brought it up....
There's that old guilty feeling again!
Ann
Ok Kim - am I allowed to change my mind with my guess at the colour of your next bub? lol
LMAO Vicky... whys that hun :)
I think its the curtains ;)
Ah i see....well we will just have to wait n see!
BUT... those curtains r so feral they are being replaced with floor length ones and drapes as soon as ive saved up more $$$
Ahhh Ann as an avid gravy fan I'm all for introducing my favourite food group as soon as possible. The thought of intravenously connecting myself to a vat of that heaven-goo has crossed my mind more than thrice. Just think of it as Ella getting nicely cultured...and join in if you can :)
PS Gorgeous pics Kim ;)
Ta Tara :)
its fun guessing though...lol...
Ann - a girlfriend of mine was telling me about the last time she went to play group a mum had given her 5month old a chocolate coated scotch finger biscuit! At least the gravy has some nutritional value ... lol...
hey all, i've been MIA, computer packed up on friday night, so went all weekend without one!! arhhhhh major withdrawals here!!!
i aslo started an on line shop with another BB girl!!! so been very busy sewing.
KIM love the lamp, sooo cute!!
VICKY sophie bearly eats, i'm lucky tp get a tbs in her over the day  she likes her boobie
CHRISTY love the new picture
TARA no beer tonight???
thats great AJP - what are you sewing? Kids clothes??? Aston would eat and eat and eat... I think that is where I went wrong, he kept opening his mouth and I kept putting food in it. so I probably gave him the sore tummy. I have cut right back to tbsp. today was just a tbsp of pears, and I will do the same for the next 3 days, then will try avocado again for four days... going right back to basics, and see how we go from there.
yep vicky kids cloths, am i allowed to mention links but not post the actual link?????
our family purchased a unit in coolum beach!! so hopefully will make it up there sometime next summer, we'll have to meet up!!!
Well done AJP on the business!!
You can always give a personal email addy....
I'm looking for some kids clothes too. I just realised that I had no matching socks to any of Matilda's clothes... LOL so she's in black & red with pink socks. The thing is, its me who wants her to match  obviously she wouldn't care...
DH and I are looking into designing some kids clothes as a business, so lets hope that takes off.
AJP are you saying i'm an alky? *burp* I havent had a con all night drinkstable!!
hehehe christy i'm like tht too :p
TARA no ! *burp* you always make me feel like ont when you mention it, there arnt too many gals who enjoy an icy cold beer!! mmmmm beer!
AJP - my email address is laurnath_au@westnet.com.au. that way you can email me the details. Plus I'm on messenger too. Coolum Beach is a lovely place, not over commercialised (sp??!!) every year they hold a kite festival which is brilliant. will look forward to seeing you in my neck of the woods.
I'm wondering whether I should start to comp feed Aston in the evening...last night I swear I think I fed him every two hours, and about the same today! oh god I wish I knew what was going on.... not sure what to do...but something is definately up, wondering whether I'm losing my supply...or is he having a growth sprut, or all of the above....
can I find a rock to go and hide under today, not feeling too good... :(
CHelsea is starting to drink and eat less....(less then the little that she used to..lol) but is making up for it in sleep. Yesterday she had a 3 hour nap and th over night went to bed at 830 and never woke up til 1030 this morning!!
Off to QLD tmrw...not even excited.. feel like crap and just wanna curl up in a ball...:(
:( Kim!!! I hope that you start feeling better.
Vicky I've been having a mummy meltdown week... full on. Jovie has been full on not sleeping & breastfeeding every 3 hours and wanting more solids etc all the time. I have found that I let DH give her a bottle if its around 10-11pm and I've been in bed an hour, that way I get to sleep for a while before the early morning onslaught of feeding. I just need the rest...
sounds like mummy melt downs all round...
i hope that you are able to have a good time Kim while you are away, hopefully the change of scenery will make you feel better...
Christy - I'm sorry that you are having a shocker, but it makes me feel better that I'm not on my own. I did a bit of research on ABA to see if I could work out what is going on...I've decided to demand feed for the next 24 hours (f it doesnt kill me first!) then see what happens, if there is no improvement, I will talk to the CHN and possibly start comping... It probably has more to do with the fact that I'm feeling so incredibly stressed at the moment. I have to go to court on Friday regarding Laura and Nathan, and I would rather not be going at all. It just triggers too many things for me - court that is. So I'm thinking that all this stress is probably affecting my supply... Like I said a nice rock to curl up under would be nice... :(
 Vicky and Christy.... i feel for you both... i hope Jovie and Aston start improving for u soon. Im having no probs compared to some.. so i shouldnt winge.
Goodluck for Friday Vicky.... must be hard for you. Take care and try to not stress as much... ill be thinking of you.
thank u kim, and whinge away honey - you are just as entitled to - your 5months pregnant, have a 6 1/2 month old baby, have just moved house, and havent been well, as well as not too long ago had a sick husband as well....all of those things are enough to send any one over the edge. Moving house itself is a killer, let alone all the other stuff! While they may not be problems, they are still important things going on in your life, and make it very very busy, and stressful...so feel free to dump when ever you need to. thats what I love about this place, I can dump without feeling like I'm going to get attacked for doing so.... I really do hope that the change of scenery, and hopefully not having to do anything but relax - well as much as you can with a 6 mth old baby! hugs right back to you....
major mummy meltdown here today. SNAP Vicky Evie was up every 2 hours for feeds last night too!
I'm looking after my 5mth old nephew today. my my my its hectic around here and of course they both want to eat and sleep at the same time but i'm only 1 person. so i cracked it and stormed off and dh was left to deal. poor fella. rang my sil to come pick him up early cos i have a headache that wont quit.
i hear beer is good for that tho..with a side order of gravy
Tara - Ella will be there in a flash to help with the gravy bit. No one has given her beer yet but you never know...
AJP - were always on the look out for cool new clothes. Will you be doing a store on ebay or on your own website?
Christy - hope the girls get back into normal routine so you can rest properly. Those cat naps just aint the same as a proper sleep.
Well Ella rejected pear at breakfast, had a bit of apple (of course coz she loves it) and yogurt for lunch. I have no idea what to give her for dinner.
Sleep is also a bit tricky too these days but i'm sure she'll work it out.
Ann
Tried some sweet potato this evening and we had shaking, gagging, coughing and throwing up 1/2 hour old milk so...maybe fruit's on the menu for a while! or avocado...any other ideas anyone? I dont want to get her too used to sweet stuff so she then wont eat vegies.
That was pretty stressful, I think it calls for a BEER AJP!
jk
Aww poor Little Evie, shes not having a very good time trying new foods is she
have u tried baby porriage? just a suggestion!
lol Tara, beer with a side of gravy definately on order for you!!!! *hugs*
well I have fed aston 2 hourly for most of the day. and I am sitting down with a glass of red wine. My knee is still killing me. But I got through the day, and that has to count for something!
Tara - we still on pears and that is it for the moment. once a day...see what tonight brings........
