Hello!!!
Jovie's second tooth is coming through today as well... We use brauer's teething relief here. I feel better using it because I haven't found either panadol or neurofen effective and I want to give something LMAO. Also there are homeopathic teething tablets which have been amazing.
The weekend was nice.
Today I'm a bit worried, Jovie broke out in a rash an hour ago & its different to her allergic ones she gets when I have milk or soy... and its not going away. I phone the GP & am going in in an hour. Eeek. She doesn't have a temp and is happy as anything so I hope its nothing too bad.... like nothing to come.
We have Jovie rear facing. There was a video someone posted here on BB about safety & I think I'll have her rear facing now until she's 2 LOL. Matilda we turned around 5 months, but in the US they have to be rear facing until they are 12 months as well so we thought we'd keep Jovie rear facing until she was 1.

Oh Christy i hope Jovie is ok!!
Chelsea will def be rear facing until at least 10-11 months old. Unless of course she gets to big and wont stay that way. Ive seen that video on here...i was amazed the girl could sit that way still....def much safer tho...
I hate using any kind of medicines for Chels unless i really have too so thru the teethin times i use bonjela or just rub her gums.

Christy - Jake broke out in a rash on Saturday night on his front and back trunk area w/- no temp etc he seemed normal so we let him go overnight. He still had it yday still no temp called the 13health number and they said get him to a dr within 24 hrs or sooner if he gets fever or vomiting, sensitive to light etc. When his tooth started to cut it started to fade and has almost gone today and tooth has cut thru.... no idea what it was. We haven't changed washing powder or anything....
-
Nelly - Glad Jake is back to himself - husky voice and all... lol at the discovery of the lollies. How quick are they??
Kim - Can't believe that it is only 13 weeks!! How exciting... Still think your having a boy...lol. Aston is facing forward - he's too big the other way with the car seat we have.
Christy - hope Jovie is ok. Rashes are scary eh. Aston came out in a rash like that a couple of months back, with no other symptoms, turned out to be viral... but my heart raced, and more grey hairs appeared!Glad you had a good weekend.
AJP - go the gummy smiles... very cute... silly I know, but kind of sad with the appearence of teeth - just another step away from baby hood...
Blanche - what makes our darling partners think that we know anymore then them what is wrong with bub when they are unsettled, whinging etc. I know we probably spend more time with them, but far out, I'm not telepathetically connected to Aston, and can read his mind!! swear could hit him sometimes - dh that is, not aston lol.

I love the Emerson quote Vicky.
Yep no idea on the rash, took her to the GP & he said "its a rash" uh... yeah. Thats why I'm here. She had no temp, nothing... I asked "could it be teething?" and he said "maybe... dunno" . I think I would have sworn at him if I had to pay today... luckily he bulk billed me. I know its not his fault but I've brought her to see him 3 times in the past fortnight & nothing is wrong, just random symptoms that don't eventuate.
I had a bit if a grump at DH yesterday because he went out to lunch with a friend & left me alone with the kiddies... I just feel sometimes that I should at least get a shower on the weekends. With Matilda's new escapism I can't go to the toilet without bringing her with me... I just want 10 minutes of body free time, no children attached thanks.

Gee.. wat a helpful GP Christy! Hope the rash settles down now.
-
oh Christy i hear u on that! the last few days i have had to wait for DP to get home to have a shower :s
Emelia hasnt been to good the last few days, think its teething (she was like this when two bottom ones were coming) no temp nothing just a very whingy little girl. Dp has had to sleep in the spare room the last 2 nights, Emelia has had to sleep with me otherwise im up and down every 5 mins walking like a zombie to her room. i had to rock her to sleep today! that is the first time ever since she was a newborn...
*please come teeth* !!!
i will try do personels later

Blanchie - are they her top 2 bcos we have just had 10 days of hell with Jake's top 2. Thank god they are through now for the next lot!
Christy - I hear you soooooooo much! DH spent a week in China a few months back (for work) and has had various nights out and golf weekends with work and I'm having to book time to go out for a scabby dinner with my playgroup mums. I've chalked up all the nights away and am calling them in when I finish BF!!!!!! I think I should buy shares in my GP's prac I've been there so much! I know exactly what you mean!! That's why I have started using the 13HEALTH number when I have random symptoms and nothing that my gut says go to doctor. It saves $55!
Vicky / AJP - I know what you mean about them growing up! Once those teeth appear they start to become little adults... and eat lollies!!!! Little bugger!
Well bath time so better go! Take care lovely ladies and hope you all have a good night.
-
We are still rear facing in a capsule - Ella's still small. She was 7.8Kg on Sunday.
Nelly - LOL at the Jellybean. I would love to have seen his face. We're on day 6 of her top teeth. They cut through last Wed but she is still in pain...
Kim - jez time HAS flown. wasnt it just yesterday when you told us you were pregnant??
Blanchie - The rocking is so hard these days isn't it??
Christy - how's the rash now?
