well he went to sleep after the shower for about 2 hrs then another hour of screaming, back down for about an hour, then in bed with us bb feed and then family snooze until 8. Took him to doctor (couldn't get in yday) and (Vicky you were right) perforated ear & drum ear infection .... poor little man. His temp was over 39 again and nurofen and panadol were having no effect....

thanks girls for support I hate it when they are sick....

We are living with our only babysitters and i dont want to take advantage of them!
we actually had a not bad night last night, bed at 6, woke at 9, then 130 then was unsettled - partly my fault for not getting those burpies out - so properly back to sleep at 4 after dozing on and off then woke at 645...before taking a dive at 745!

ah Nelly! *hugs* I hope tonight is better. Matilda had bad ear infections in her first year. Something else to trial is acupuncture, or the wax candles that some natural health shops have, the childrens ones.

Oh Nelly - Poor little Jake. How does a little guy get a perforated ear? At least he's sounding happier trying to catch his daddy...

Tara - God every week i think was a lame mum I am . Ella's fall gave me a bit of a scare coz she was still upset the next day but it turned out to be anxiety. Lots of cuddles and she's a happy cookie again.

Christy - Hope you get some answers too. Ella has echzema at the moment with a big patch on her back. I hate putting the cortisone cream on but nothing works (not it does much good either) so let me now what works for you.

Ella tried to pull herself up in the bath today. She got half way and leaned the side and almost fell over but its good to see her trying to get up.

On her weight - I dont mind if shes a small baby at all but she's now the same weight she was at 8 months! Today she had her own lunch of rissoto and then wanted my noodles so I gave them to her. She had 8 cubes of chicken noodles and veg for dinner followed by 3 cubes of apple. We only stop giving her food when she keeps on refusing it. We stop then try again....4 times and we know she's not hungry. I wonder if there is any guide on how MUCH they should be eating at this age.

It sounds like all our bubs are getting bumped and bruised as they get more active. The best thing about falling over is getting cuddles from mum.

    Ann
