blanche i was taking mine in the morning but switched to bedtime as they where making me drowsy, maybe he needs to alter when he takes it, how much is the dose?? perhaps ring the dr and aske some questions, has he increased the dosage since starting??? i started on 25mg for two weeks them increased to 50mg, i'm currentlt trying to decrease my amount very slowly

the doctor told him to take them in the morning as they will make it hard for him to sleep and has given him valium to help him sleep not that anything seems to help, he started on 25mg aswell and will go upto 50mg tomorrow and then after the 2 weeks will go up higher.

LOL then the wings get all frayed and are barely hanging together & they want to sleep in them!!

Hi girls I read this morning but didn't post.... I thought I did...hmmmm.

Kim did you read my post about Matilda & bottles and deciding not to feed off them for a week or two. The other thing I forgot to say was that I gave Matilda heaps of homemade iceblocks with formula and banana or something and made "smoothies" to get us through that time. Goodluck!!

Blanchie it is interesting to read the "other side" as well... I was on zoloft until last week (scary) and I found 25mg was all I needed, when I went to 50mg I felt quite detached from reality... its a strange feeling. I had to take them at night, otherwise I would be very sleepy in the middle of the day as well. I guess they want the strongest time to be in the evenings for him, which would mean he should take them morning or lunchtime.

ETA: Opps forgot to talk about me We are going well, enjoying this cloth nappy trials. I came up with a business idea the other week & since then can not get my mind off it, but its going to be hard to figure out how to do it & am going to see a business planner to help me get started. Scary as if you asked me a month ago if I wanted to own my own business, I would have laughed at you & said NEVER. Now I've made an appointment to talk with someone about how to do it... weird.

Jovie had 3 teeth come through last week & since Saturday has been waking up once at night. FANTASTIC!>

Last bottle i offered 150ml and she drank it all withnot to many dramas....no screaming match at least and she drank the full amount... so maybe thats all she wants now?

Ill jut keep trying all the great suggestions offered. I guess main thing is that she is still getting fluids and some form of food into her tummy....better then nothing

Doctors appt went considering well, DP may have to be hospitalised but we will deal with that when it comes may be the best thing though. he has now been bumped up the list to see a psychiatrist so hopefull in a week he can start seeing one.

Kim I was just looking at some breastfeeding beads, so I put an old dangly necklace on & Jovie had the best feed she's had all week. She's been so distracted & resentful of being held still... maybe put something dangly on that she can play with while she has a bottle? Or wrap something around the bottle for her to concentrate on?....

    Hey girls,
Oh Blanche, try and look after yourself, i'll be thinking of you.
didnt make it to the nurse today - we've got people coming to inspect the house tomorrow, so fingers crossed it'll be all rented and done!
felt the tiny corner of a tooth this evening! she was chewing my finger while she was in the bath and ouch!
am hoping for sleep tonight.... *cough sigh*
