Thanks for the heads up on the bras Tara....i been wearing Triumph ones...but the D is just to damn small.... i guess the hardest bit for me is i cant find the bigger back sizes (ya know the number bit, not the cup size...LOL).
Blanche i agree bout the dummy... i swear next bub is banned from them!! But normally night times are fine... days she depends alot on it.
I really think Chelsea is preparing me for no sleep nights again....such a lovely DD i have...my only hope is she sleeps when bub arrives home and doesnt think she is missing out on something when im up and down all night feeding!!
-
welcome monica!!!! we only have one tooth!! and that only came through 10 days ago
TARA glad you loved swimming. it's a hit in our house, soooooomuch splashing here, yep where up on the 5-14th of feb!!! cant wait!!
CHRISTY no is so cute, sophie shakes her head, too cute but make me dizzy
KIM i wear loveable as well and i'm a D cup!!! go get fitted i went to Myer, they went throught the different brands to see just which one suited my body the best
NELLy hope Jake settles tonight for you, is it teeth
BLANCH hows the belly going, do you feel pregnant yet???
-
Well obviously we'll have a have a qld meet-up sometime between 5-14 of feb!
Poor evie's face was so red this afternoon with her little teeth. she just didnt want to eat dinner and trying to get her to take nurofen/panadol is impossible! but i think i managed to get some down
let's hope we have a good night!
-
I dont feel pregnant yet! belly feels bloated abit! i have to keep reminding myself dont think it will feel real till i see bub on the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat! DP said tonight that he keeps forgetting that i am!
oh BTW we have another tooth, so maybe thats the reason we are up through the night!!
-
Hope u have a good night Tara :)
-
tara i had to give sophie panadol last night as she was inconsolable, even bubbering on the boob poor chicken, i just aimed and fired it down the back of her mouth and its the first time she's never spat it out!!
AGAIN we have the most shocking nappy rash, i can only assume its from the teeth but i have had her in sposies so i can lather her bum in covicol, stopped using wipes again and gone back to cloth ones as i do see a pattern of reddness appearing with the use of wipes, on her bum and face if i'm lazy and use them after meals
-
Thanks. she just woke up! lol i think it was because someone slammed a door! grr!
we've also stopped all swaddling and seems to be going well. i stopped swaddling arms when she would just pull them out, but kept doing her legs as it was part of her 'sleep-time cue' but i just thought sod it, she wiggles out so quick anyways! still rolling onto her tummy and waking up when she cant roll back over when she's half asleep, i guess it's just something she'll learn on her own
hey ajp,are you coming into gold coast or brisbane? sorry to hear about poor sophie! poor babies with those nasty teeth and sore bums!
-
Chelsea went to bed at 730... come 845 she was wide awake...dosed on Nurofen (man she loves the stuff..always winges when theres none left in the dropper thingy majig), gave her a bottle and now back in bed.
Cough getting worse.. and we have another red bummed bub....
-
TARA actually going to Coolum beach!
-
Hi Monchika. Welcome. Any pics of your little man?
On the teeth front i think Ella's pushing 4 through at the same time! i can see them just below the surface. Poor chicken. This will make 8 teeth!
She sits and play and then just looks up an cries and screams. So we've been going through the Bonjella and Nurofen.
Kim - Ella loves the taste of bonjella. she sucks it off my finger before i get to rub it on her gums.
Vicky - Are you around honey? Hope you're feeling better.
AJP - We use cloths after food too. Much better on the skin. Poor little sophie bum.
Blanche - When are you going for the scan? I remember when i was 5weeks preggers i was already rubbing my belly ;) haha.
Not feeding well today. She's started biting again and just not interested in food. The teeth are distracting her i think. If it gets worse tomorrow its going to be a panadol day, I'm worried she'll lose more weight just when she put it back on!

Ann i got my ultrasound next month on the 11th :) cant wait, i look at my belly everyday to see if its growing lol!!
We have a red bot here too, she has lots of nappy off time she loves been nude!!
Hope Chelsea gets better soon, poor little muffin

kimbaz - i'm in the DD for Triumph maternity bras, but i've seen them in the E size available. Got a Lovable too, that was white, until i dyed it in my "nesting" phase, when all the white baby clothes got to become purple (evil grin hee hee).
Christy
That's interesting, another person noticing that the commerical baby wipes irritate your bub's skin, us too. We use flannels and water now (at home), it's really helped. I have the Nature Baby supermarket brand ones for going out though, she doesn't seem to react to those. (they come in a white pouch, with a b + w pic of bub on front).
Blanchie, i'm assuming every bubby loves naked time, but what do you do about naked time each day, when they start crawling? i didn't mind it when bilbs just lay on a waterproof mat, but now? i'm am very hesitant to give her naked time, although i know it's good for her skin.
Luua, bilbs loves the taste of bonjella too, she thinks it's a treat i'm sure, as in, where's the rest?
For the nappy rash, we're using a hemp bottom balm at the first sign of any redness, and so far, in ten months, it has never progressed to proper nappy rash, so that is a great balm, in my book. Because it's a balm, not a cream, we use it in the MCN, no probs. A friend also recently tried one made by Hungry Hippos, out of mango butter, and she got good results with that (bought at the Brisbane baby expo).
we also have the Gaia baby powder (made out of cornstarch, instead of talc) to put in the creases of fat around her hip./thigh area - the crinkles that sometimes never get dry cos of the chubba.
i have very little in terms of baby skin products, but what we have, i have looked for organic stuff, been very pleased with the results. Was told, when pregnant, that babies skin is very delicate and the less interference with it *under two years) the better.
Welcome monika, got any pics to share of your little boy?

Im so sick and tired and in pain....im loosing my mind tonight...poor bugger is so sick and she cant help it....but grrrrrrr.

HI all....remember me?
I'm sorry I have been so slack. I have been reading. but I'm so intolerant at the moment, and the computer is on a go slow that I end up getting the *****s with it and turning it off...
Pain still about, but settling which is typical of my cycle...so it will no doubt be back later in the month :( Have decided not to do the hormonal treatment, doesn't feel ok. Going to look at some alternative therapies and have a lap when aston has stopped feeding... He is down to two feeds at day now... :( My baby boy is weaning himself it seems...
Ex refused mediation (pr!ck) and is not having the kids again in the holidays, so I spent most of Monday crying - wondering for the life of me how he can NOT want to have time with his children. I think the biggest emotion I feel about all of this is grief at his rejection of them... They don't know yet, I have given him the opportunity to ring and tell them himself (which he won't do of course) and if he hasn't told them by tomorrow I will ...
On a good note, we have decided to go for a short break to Bargara Bunderberg in the middle weekend of the holidays. It was a fluke that I got a booking, the apartment is right on the beach. I'm so excited to be going away, and the kids will love going to the beach, and Aston will be funny to watch as he discovers the sand, and rock pools... really looking forward to getting away.
Had a huge cry again last night to DH, telling him all the things that are going on in my head - and my god there are a lot at the moment. God love him, he has got a number for me for a counsellor that is free through his work that is available to him or his family. He just held me last night as I cried and cried.
ASton woke at 5 this morning and is back in bed already. i'm going to go and lay down too for a while.
Kim and Blanche - belly rubs to you both. Not long to go now Kim.. hope you and chelsea are feeling better soon...Bet your excited Blanche for the ultrasound...
Nelly - Ring hun, we can console each other. Lets try and catch up in the school holidays - That goes to you Christy too, and Tara ok?
Jols - We will definately organise something when you are up here in Feb. I love Coolum the beach is wonderful...
Welcome Monica - hope to see a piccie of your little man.
Hi Ann and Gigi (gigi don't worry about crawling and naked - wee wipes up. its all part of the exploration.) Aston is so funny when he is crawling around with his bum in the air. It gets cold on the tiles lol
Thanks for asking after me girls... I'm about - just not doing too good... trying to...
-

Hi all
Thanks for the txt Vicky have a crazy morning doing bmaid stuff but by afternoon may need that call!
We too have a red bum and 2 more teeth coming up... off his food prolly bcos of the teeth too. Top it all off he has a cold but I think it may have been the slapped cheek virus or roseola virus bcos he has really red cheeks - but that could be teeth too!
I have his cold and am trying to get over it but have managed to pass it onto to the bride and another bmaid  oops
Jake has gone for a sleep he was up early too but he was Darren's responsibility for I was at my 6am exercise class. Have been walking everyday at least once in the morning and some afternoons too, am feeling much better mentally for it... and physically too. AF still hasn't turned up although Jake has dropped to 2 feeds (he too is self weaning VIcky :( ) but I know I am kicking back into the cycle bcos I have been prowling for chocolate.
Well Jake is now standing on his own for longer and longer periods - thought he was pretty clever doing it in bed this morning and it's pretty hard with his mattress inclined for his reflux! His speech is developing too with saying ta, and making a game of passing things and saying ta, ball (kind of) book (which is more like bck) as well as mum dad etc. He is starting to grow up again out of all size 0 and into 1's now.... gosh how time flies.
Our nights have been pretty good but I am still waking up exhausted and Darren is the one getting up if Jake does squawk which is at the most once a night.
Sorry long rambling post.... mmmm have forgotten what everyone has written to do personals except Gigi we do nudey time and he has only pooed once and I warned DH he was going to bcos he makes funny grunts but no DH knew best and of course Jake poooed on the ground! With this lovely weather we do it outside more now too.
:hugs: to you all lovely lovely ladies!!
ps hi monica!
