Tara, i dont know wat was with that link, i didnt send it to u but, one of my friends had it sent to her, then it sent to me and then when u try open it, its like a virus thingy and it sent it to all my online ppl on msn...so weird sorry if it stuffed up ur computer, i had to run some spyware programs to get rid off it. the link actually says check out photos on Photobucket but when u try open it, it freezes ya computer :S
Vicky - I am so sorry to hear about that email from your ex - utterly selfish and horrible waste of space he sounds like - no wonder you are no longer with him. You love your kids, so you will keep this horrible missile from them, but it's a big thing to carry around in your heart, i'm glad you have a lovely partner now, to talk to about this. Plus the girls on here that you catch up with IRL. The stupid ex of yours is going to miss out on his kids growing up, what an idiot. I wish you strength, for the times when the kids ask "when are we going to see dad?". Such a hard situation for you, you deal with the kids everyday, and get all the questions.
Very cute to hear the babies saying their first words, and clapping. I'm still mightily impressed that bilby can crawl forward atm! She is starting to clap with one open hand and one fist, i guess that might be the start of proper clapping.
Due to her choking on small lumpy solids, she is going to be seen by a speech pathologist soon. I also asked about why she giggles and smiles so large with delight, but often does this silently, another thing the speechie will give us advice about.
Today bilby ate so little, drank so little, but still had nappies to change, i have no idea WHERE she got the ammunition from. She would cry as if hungry, i'd go to feed her, she latch on for ONE or TWO seconds and then, all over red rover. So leak on tshirt for mum and enough nutrition for a flea, for bilby - i kept waiting for her to be absolutely gasping for a good feed.
we;re also having teething behaviour. She finally let me see her bottom two teeth today, they've been a Secret for so long, but now she seems happy to show them off.

Vicky... I am sitting here crying for you, how horrid and awful. You know my father was so similar. Except I'm the one who phoned and he never did & when I called him on it he called me selfish and undeserving. These men don't understand that the world does not revolve around them.... and they are happy to blame everyone else for it. They are completely unable to see that they are at some blame & that they need to compromise in some way. I have had minimal contact with my father (twice in 8 years) and its been so much better for it.
Gigi - don't worry too much, Matilda only started on lumpy foods around 12 months. She just gagged all the time. Matilda also got her first tooth at 13 months. She did start walking at 9 though.... who knows. Jovie's got 8 teeth and has just started cruising...
Ella has 6 teeth (soon will have 8) and sits and claps. She's trying to whistle like daddy (very very cute) i'm going out to buy her one. She tries to whistle on her dummy, her ducky, spoons everything...
So far her speaking repertoire includes mamma, dadda, babba, naana, jar. Her comprehension is great though. I ask her where's the ****y (we have ****atoos land on our balcony) and she looks out the window.
Her skin is not great so we went out and invested in some organic moisturizer and barrier cream and its been a week and it looks less irritated and dry. I'm also adding omega 3, 6, 9 oil to her food add to the fatty acids she needs for her skin. Hopefully this will help the eczema.
Gigi - I dont think Ella is getting much milk either. I worry but then i know i cant force her to have it. She's going through a biting thing again. (sigh)
Going out to meet a gf who's preggers with her second baby. She's been really sick with ms with this one and the last one....poor thing.

Ann Ella sounds very much like sophie!! will look at things if you ask her too!! loves to clap especially for herself and also tries to whistle!! very cute
we had to give missy some panadol last night poor thing was inconsolable! very unlike her, but she sleep 8 hours had a feed and back to bed for 2 more, have discovered she loves sleeping on her tummy! also sleeps much longer during the day too!!!
How cute!! I think with Jovie that teething puts her off feeding, she only has 3 feeds a day. Yesterday I tried to sneak another one in because I was busting so as I transfered her to the cot from the car I thought I'd see if she'd feed, but instead I woke her up D'Oh!.
She saids mama, dadada, dada (as in MatilDA), no and ow.
we only say mumma dadda and nanna, trying to get ger to say ta but no sucess!!

Chelsea is at least in bed. Hasnt slept a wink all day. Didnt go to FDC... her carer said why not and i told her she has a viral infection which she might have picked up from care and i didnt want it spread to any other kids, and i was told i needed a medical cert for it... like wtf... she is 10 months old....i never got one..lol
i'm here AJP. watched a DVD - Children of men. Interesting idea of an era of infertile women...makes me think how luck we all are to be able to have children.
