Babies Born November 2006 #25

Thats a tentative yes from me, let me just see what DH is working and such
another crap night here, every 2 hours....she's now got a runny/snuffly nose so i'm hoping thats part of the teething cos those teeth are really giving her heaps. i dont know what else to do to help her sleep better at night, i really think i'm just going to have to wait it out
trying to stand lots today and walking along with her car
Kim, i find dimetapp does crap all, no hypo no sleepies nothing.
havent heard anything from ann or gigi either...
soooo hot today, i have to have the a/c in evie's room cos the crows are right outside the window they have just started up again now that she's asleep and they are so freaking loud!!! i am going mental!!!!

My god..Emelia has woken from a 2 hour sleep as a feral child, she is whinging at everything, she doesnt want to play, sit still or anything. DP not going to be home till late so hopefully i dont go too insane before then!

well this time 1 year ago i was in labour!!!! waters broke at 6.30am this morning (well 12 months ago)

blanche sophie is the same , whingy and clingy, just wants me!!!

I will try for the 8th... don't think I can though. Just that I'm going to Melbourne on the 9th and need to be super organised!! Jovie & I are going to Melbourne, should be fun!! Its her birthday on the Friday too and I have to make a cake to have before we go.

Went to friends house today, still freaking out about the weekend!!!

must be something in the air. aston has been revolting all day...finally got him down to sleep,. and it never takes this long. off to the doctor tomorrow to make sure he is all better...fingers crossed tonight is better,,,,please!!!!

on a positive tho - got to some painting and it was fun...did I tell u that i was going to try and sell some of my paintings! eek!

Vicky will have to see some of them! How exciting to sell them at markets, is that the Eumundi ones? How fun!

Us... well we are going okay. I'm struggling with exhaustion still. My Chinese herbs are helping, but last night I was putting Jovie to bed & fell asleep, just got up & laid down with her and slept from 6.30pm - 5.30am when the girls got up. I must have fed Jovie sometime during the night, but it was insane. I was so tired.... now I've just made some coffee because otherwise I won't make it through the night routine.

We have been shopping all day!!

Both girls have a full wardrobe now, bought gates for the house to stop Chelsea, got a twin side by side pram and am in loooove with it, i got some new shoes (MIL's birthday pressie to me), done the groceries....

Jols that is super exciting, i still get "chills" when I think about this time last year and what i was doing and so forth.
Evies been funny today too. her eyes are red and puffy, her nose is running and she's sneezing and she's got a fever, i'm pretty sure it's her teeth tho. had 2 absolutely disgusting nappies this morning. dosed her up on panadol and dimetapp tonight and she was in bed by 610! no wake-ups yet :pray:
Vicky thats really exciting that you're doing your paintings, i'm sure you'll feel heaps better if you can get into doing something for yourself
not much else going on here...thats a good thing i guess!

hi Nelly! yes i'm still here, just struggling to keep up! busy, started new playgroup which is SO WONDERFUL, will tell all soon, and got a VERY VERY clingy bub here at the mo!

two front teeth are REALLY thru now.

i havne't even read last two day's digests properly, just skimmed, need to catch up on the posts properly.

How you feeling Jols? It is huge - my kids birthdays are always big for me emotionally, as I take stock and look back from where they have come from, you know the journey so far... I always take out the "memory" box and look at little things and photos, and get all misty eyed - and will do so for aston on the 29th...each year i get a little bit more misty lol

Aston slept better last night - so i did too! he woke at 6pm yesterday after finally falling asleep at 3.30pm... went to bed at 8 woke once at 12, and then at 5... so I had 5 hours in a row, which makes all the difference to my well being!

He seems a bit better today, thank goodness. thought i would have to take him to the doctor yesterday, but I think he is on the improve finally...

I will post some pictures of my paintings on facebook for anyone interested in having a look... I do abstract, and love painting flowers... i feel a bit silly putting it out there...

got so much to catch up on...lots of paper work. like uni applications!! so best get to it. have a good day all

We just got back from hols at Hamilton Island. Fabulous! We had a great time. Ella got to swim in the ocean, eat sand, cuddle a koala and feed the ****ies every morning. She loved it. Slept like a charm and at soooo much she threw up one day (in the hammock)...ewwww

Kim - Congratulations on the arrival of Jasmine. She's beautiful. I bet you were telling her "took your time Miss!" Did i guess girl? She's a treasure.

*sigh* oh heavens, why does my baby not want an afternoon nap or dinner but stay awake for 6 hours!!
I am so trying to get her to go to sleep without me rocking her and it's just not happening, i feel like i've left it too late and now it's so hard cos of her teeth :(

we just had a runny big poo everywhere, before Emelia's bath she has a nudie run and has never once poo'd! i went out to check on her and found her playing with her poo and smudging it all over the floor, cat door and the window.....ewwwwwwwwwwww i chucked her in the bath while DP cleaned up her mess..she thought it was hilarious!!! it stinks so bad still, got insense burning lol

Reading your older posts AJP did you find out what was going on in the Wonder Weeks? Ella is soooo clingy. I thought it was because i was carrying her everywhere on the island. Maybe it's her 9th and 10th teeth. They poke up and disappear back down....

She also grinds them loudly....arghhh sounds awful.

Ella still eats a huge amount. But only 8.12kg and wearing 3mo shoes.

WB Ann...I'd forgotten you were going away, and was just starting to get a bit concerned...lol...but are so glad you had a brilliant time away. the weather has been amazing here in QLD. so I'm glad you had the benefit of it.

I've had such a yuk night...Aston is on the improve..but I think I have it now! so have been up and down all night coughing and nose and eyes streaming. I finally got up for good at 4.30...which was kind of cool as I saw the most amazing sunrise. check out my facebook gallery for some pictures of it...

doing some more painting today. If i get my act together I may even post pictures of my paintings on facebook...

We had a good night as far as Chelsea was concerned...she coughed alot but never woke.

Jas on the other end was a horror until 3am!!

Feeling quite down today....MIL has gone home and ive done nothing but cry since 730am :(

ohhh kim... its times like this that the whole cyber relationship frustrates me... the internet brings people together, but when you need someone there IRL the practicalilty is not so good!! I may as well be living on the moon for all the physical help I can give you, and that's what you need right now, another set of hands... I hope that the universe presents someone at your door today that will give you what you need hun. thinking of you, which doesn't do alot at the moment I know...but I'm putting it out there, and hopefully your needs will be met. lots of love and hugs

Perfectly said Vicky. I wish I could help too *hugs* Kim. It is hard work and right now your hormones are going nuts. I always have the worst time a week after birth. Its like the high from the birth gets you through the first few days... then you crash.

I find it frustrating that there are so many of us who need our village (as in it takes a village to raise a child) and our village is here online... but we don't live close enough to run over for those crap days, or we have a big kid as well who we can't leave but if we take will make things worse LOL.

ANN forgot to say sophies only around the 8.6kg mark, getting her weighted next week, and her feet are tiny!!! i bought shoes the other day and they were for 6-12 month olds!!! very narrow feet
