no way are we ready for a bed here...probably more me than her. she does still roll around a lot.
Had a better day here. She looks like she's got hayfever which actually means another tooth/teeth are coming through. Had absolutely no sleep here last night. she just tossed and turned and cried :(
Won't eat a thing and thats starting to get me worried
me - not feeling so great today, i've had that wierd "pressure" kind of feeling 'down below' you know like before you get a period? i'm hoping it's just things stretching :(
PLUS my FIL put a bit of rum in my coke this evening so now i feel so guilty :( on top of the fact i just havent been eating properly or anything lately. feeling so so so so fat, cellulite-ous and unattractive  please dont say its baby because it isnt. you cant see my baby bump for my fat

We are no where near ready for a big bed either. Ella is a gymnast in bed...

sophies teh same i dont know why i bother to even put her under the covers to start with!!! she moves far too much around the cot at night!
TARA pregnant women are beautiful!!! can you post a pic of you and evie in the gallery>?
-
tara - :hugs: honey, your making a human being! and that is a glorious amazing thing to be able to do - but gees lousie it takes it out of ya! I'm turning 38 tomorrow, and are struggling with it alot...my mantra at the moment is that I have been a part of helping three human beings grow, develop, experience... and that is a wonderous thing... hard - but wonderous. hang in there hun. xxx
-
i can never upload photos on that gallery for some reason :(
you'll see me in 2 weeks anyway!
but i'll try to post a photo
-
l know im soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can ya tell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Taralee - i actually miss my pregnant body, i look at those photos with longing, wishing i was there again. Are you uncomfy e.g backache, m/s, breasts that feel like they might explode? is that the real thing that's bugging you? Hard to feel good if you're tender and sore.
Vicky
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG LADY
(i'm older than you so i get to say that!!!!)
i'm so sick of no routine with bilby, tried to implement healthier eating (at regular times, and no custard half of everything) - FLOPPED, tried to implement bath, change, bed at 7pm - FLOPPED. we are struggling with food and sleep constantly. ear piercing screams as soon as i walk anywhere near the cot with her. Got new parenting support volunteer who gave me ideas today, but when i tried to do them - nothing worked. She said even i just get three teaspoons of custard free solids down bilby, that's ok. We did not get HALF ONE tspn down bilby before screaming. She said put bilby in cot, rest firm hand on her, sit on stool next to cot, avoid eye contact, grizzling cry is fine, only pick up if hysterical. Bilby was hysterical immediately. i sat there with my hand on her tummy, no eye contact, listening to blood curdling, ear piercing screaming. Hours of feeding on the bed, try again, same thing. Seems to be so hungry. Banana mashed up with yogurt at 10pm. constantly wanting to be picked up, then put down, oer and over. my back and arms are so sore from all the picking up. DH is out of action, cna't pick her up at all.
would love to run away.
then i think, this is NOTHING compared to what poor Maz is going thru with Matheuaz (on my clothie thread). her baby has a blood clot on his nb brain, i have a healthy baby, i'm so lucky, she is tearing her hair out in the hospital, hoping he will be ok. Puts life into perspective.
sorry to be such a sad sack
-
*Hugs Gigi*...thinks have to get better for you soon babe. Bilby is pushing you to your limits so it seems. I hope both of you can work out a routine soon.
:happybirthday: Vicky..i hope you have a fab day and get spoilt :happybirthday:

:happybirthday: VICKY, HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GET SPOILT ROTTEN!!:happybirthday:

Happy Birthday Vicky!!! Hip Hip Hooray!!! :D
Tara  it is so hard. With Jovie I expanded heaps before I was 16 weeks. In other ways beyond belly... My bum went first. And I felt stretching all the time.
Us.... we travelled well. Got home & was so tired I just collapsed. Now I have to do so much today & its pouring rain.... Already swept & mopped so just have to get the laundry started.
Jovie will probably go into a bed around 18 months if she's ready. At 16months Matilda was climbing in & out of the cot and it was dangerous. With Jovie she already sleeps on the mattress on the ground heaps for naps etc... I don't think it will be as dramatic a change. We just have to get out & buy Matilda her bed first  Big girl bed for her...

:confetti: Happy Birthday Vicky!!!!!!!!!! Hope u have a lovely day :happybirthday:

othank you lovely ladies. I'm having a quiet day in today. Kids are back at school, and its just me and Aston. its pouring with rain, and the house is quiet, except for Aston's squeals and laughter. Its lovely. Going out to dinner with Rich and the kids tonight, and got a gift voucher for a beauty spa in Noosa to use on whatever I want... now i'm stuck for choice - do i have the hour massage, and manicure... or pedicure and complete set of nails done... or go the waxing.... or a facial.... oh choices!! I had said to him that all i wanted for my birthday was peace and harmony... he figured that giving me the opportunity to have some well earnt ME time was a good opportunity to feel peace and harmony ... lovely boy, now I had just better get a birthday romp, and then I will be very happy ;)
-
sorry late post Vicky Happy Birthday!!! Man if I look as good as you do at 38 I'll be one happy lady! ;)
-
nelly - now I know your lying... but keep it coming. lol
-
Happy birthday beautiful lady.
I second Nelly's comment. You're a hot mama!
-
Tara - just think about it as a phase. I put on 18kg with Ella, I hated looking at myself in the mirror. I had water retention early on so i felt really porky with my sausage fingers.
Gigi - Hugs honey. Does she like her play pen. Can you put her in the park and let her go and you can flip through some trash mags....Dunno but you need to recharge. I'd take her for a while if only i was closer. (i get to nibble those chubby cheeks)
We are going to try for a baby in a few weeks so i'm trying to stay fit and healthy but cupcakes and coffees are sooooo tempting..... Ella's just crawled outside and squished all my strawberries... naughty girl.
Ann

:happybirthday:  YAY VICKY!! 21 again! :happybirthday:
Does 2 teeny squares of avocado on toast, 4 teaspoons of beef casserole, 6 sultanas and a bite of nectarine constitute as dinner? well i hope so because thats the most she's eaten in a week for dinner and of course, not sleeping at night again. i know it's just teeth and walking but thats little comfort now!
thanks all for your fine words of support :)
love, fatty boomsticks
