they;ve been working together for 4 years. he thinks that i dont like her because i think he likes her. so that has just made me feel worse, like everything i think about her is just invalid and i must be making it up.
ive always had issues opening completely up to people for fear of getting hurt, with the exception of DH, and now i feel like the only way i can stay in this relationship is to leave a piece of me closed off so that i dont ever feel hurt..but thats no way to be in a marriage. I've found that i have started to see myself as being completely independant so that i dont have to rely on ANYONE for anything, again, so i dont get hurt. sometimes i wish i could just be on my own, with no-one else around me. thats how i feel now.
i really dont know what to do or how i am going to get out of feeling like this. and to top it off, he's just left for work and wont be home til 2am
-
its ok, i'm over it. i "nutted it out" (i've always wanted to say that) with a gf who also has OCD so totally gets my headspace and with DH...i'm back on top

Tara - big hugs. Glad you have a GF to can provide you some answers.
Gigi - Bilby sounds so cute asking for cuddles and who wouldnt want to cuddle such a gorgeous little girl. Ella loves swim class and has been bumped up a class (i think to make room for more kids) Not sure if she's ready for it - we'll soon see. But she is trying to keep up with the boys who dive into the water and can swim a bit! (ella cant)
Chirsty - how you holding up?
Vicky - Poor Aston. Hope the AB's do their job soon. Pregnancy seems to be going fast now i'm past the first trimester. Cant believe we will see our babies again in 2 weeks!
Jols/nelly- how are you guys going? how's the bump?
Ann

fat.... just fat
-
 you are NOT fat!!! I can totally understand feeling this way.
Tara I'm so glad you are feeling better about things.
I'm holding, totally anxious about things.... I don't think I can fit anything more stressful into our lovely mix. Lets see, hospital assessments, work, movings, and oh... trying to find tenants for our house. I'm taking it one day at a time, we have another rental inspection this weekend. I hope we find someone!
At FDC today Lizzie put hair bands in Jovie & it was sooooo cute!! We've never done it with her yet because her hair is so short but I think I will try more. Encourage her to let me.

bilby has got a definate mullet going on. long curls back and sides, short on top, no danger of hair in her eyes.
it's long enough at sides, to blow into her eyes on a windy day. She amuses herself by swinging her head back and forth, to feel the hair move on purpose.
but the once or twice i tried to comb the hair up into a thin but long enough ponytail, she SCREAMED like a banshee - until i took the ponyholder out.
i know lots of people like their hair up for cute factor, but i actually want to put it up so it doesn't get in her face when she's razzing about outside at childcare. (we have nowhere for her to play outdoors here, so it's a moot point at home).
Christy - good luck with finding a tenant soon, one less stress in your life i hope.
Ann - so glad to hear you're feeling better, now 1st trimester is over. Is your dh being supportive in your pregnancy? i hope so hon. You deserve foot rubs, back massages, etc. cups of your fave drink brought to you.
-
tara im glad your feeling better about things  best to talk these things through, with your friend or us!!!
nelly i bet your not fat!! im getting fat!! putting on more weight this time :omg:
ann ella should be fine at swimming! we dont go up for about another year yet, not til she can go by herself!! 2 weeks will fly!!
christy did you get those clips???
gigi we put sophies hair up everyday, some days she pulls it out, but generally it stays in, clips she pulls out!!

-
thanks hun!! me too!!
happy 8 weeks to you too!!
will do a belly shot when DH gets up
-
Oooh Jols tell us what you are having! YOu must know by now!!!!! cant wait.
Nelly - Hey you wanna see fat come over to my place. I dont recongnise my arms or legs anymore. The twins are still side by side so I'm looking really ROUND. But eventually one will move up over the other one (i think that's happening now in fact!) I'm rubbing cream on the belly in hope i dont get any more stretch marks. I got some really feint ones with Ella and then two big ones during labour (not fair)
Christy - get a pic of Jovie with the new hair do. Daycare does Ella's hair and paint her face. The other day she came home painted like a doll. Blue eyeshadow, eyelashes, and two red circles on her cheeks. I cant do it - she wouldnt sit still for me.
Gigi - Ella hates being fussed over too. I wonder if they think it changes who they are...hmmm
Watch ABC Toddler at 3 last night. Really interesting. Ella's changed so much from when she was one - i wonder where she'll go from two.
Boiling hot today. 35 degrees. Ellas down for her 3hr nap and then we'll go the pool to cool down. Damn i have to find bathers that fit me....!
-
scan went well!!!
even if we wanted to see the sex ( didnt want to) bubs was not co-operating!! head down facing my back so hoping it stays there!! placenta still anterior around my belly button area. dates all good!!!

Ann - get out that iced foot bath toot sweet!! (LOL gotta love phonetically splet french!!)
Nelly - not fat!! just enjoy it while you're "with child"
chino had needles today, evie teething badly. we still havent had dinner - eyes popping out of our heads! oh gotta love it!
-
Hey Ann where are you located? I'll be moving to the Northern Beaches soon.... it would be lovely to catch up. Unfortunately I'll have to work more now  moving to Sydney does that...
ETA: I forgot to tell anyone!!!!
Hold on to your seats. My Mum's MRI she had last week showed......
The tumour has reduced!!!! WOOT!!!!
So no surgery scheduled at this point! They will repeat MRI's every 6-12 months depending on her symptoms. Yay!:leap:
For those who didn't know: My mum was diagnosed in February with an acoustic neuroma which was benign but was affecting her speach and hearing. Since then she's had 3 operations for haemorrhoid(sp?) repair (the first one caused scar tissue issues which resulted in impaction... okay TMI sorry). Her symptoms got heaps worse from the anaesthesia at that time. But apparently it hasn't gotten worse but better.
-
Christy that is fantastic!!!! I'm so happy for you and your mum!!
Quite ironic since Ben's mum was diagnosed with cancer this morning :( its not fast growing apparently so thats something
-
oh tara  your life isn't getting any easier right now.
-
lol no, it really isnt. i do have a lot to be grateful for tho..and things could always be worse
-
Helllloooo
We seem to be having a lull. I'm having a hard day with Jovie. We walked Matilda to Montessori and then came home and she played nicely so I started pottering, phoning removalist quotes etc, then just as I was packing us up to go to the shops to buy food she cracks it! She took 45 minutes to get to sleep and now I won't be able to go to the shops. Which means I have to go later when DH is home because Matilda can't go to the shops.... Ah well... write off day.
