day sleeps are our challenge too - at daycare he sleeps great but for me no way am I going down. My lifesaver is that I soo need a nanna nap that we lie down together and sleep together.... bad habit tho but it's working atm
she didnt sleep we have to go to dr at 3pm for her night cough, i went in, she was stark naked clothes everywhere and wee on the bed :( tell me again why im having another one!
i didnt do her pants up tight enough and she got them off *sigh*
might try that tomorrow nelly
 it sucks!! I second the nanna nap, whatever gets you through.
could the day get any worse!!
just found out my uncle has written his will and p!ssed off!! worried my might do something this time
 Jols thats terrible!!!
My day didn't get much better. Jovie just continued on the screamy stake. Then the real estate phoned at 2.30pm and said they wanted to bring some more prospective tenants through the house at 4.30... :o the house was a complete disaster. So I scrambled around with Jovie screaming after me. URGH Then I had to disrupt Matilda's routine, which is always fun  and that has resulted in screaming from her ever since.
fun day all round girls?
aston was at daycare today, and I am over having visitors. are fighting off a cold, and feel like crap, so went back to bed when I had dropped him off and slept for two hours. i went on strike today - and did as little as possible. feel a little better for it.
Jols - i hope everything is ok hun.
Christy - hun.
can't sleep ............ tired ........ hungry...........
IM sooooooooo tired we start playgroup this morning!! yay!!
sophie slept a full 12 hrs after no sleep yesterday so hoping todays activities wear her out.
no news on my uncle, has done this before but last time no will and spend 6 weeks in thailand, no one knew where he was
oh jols I hope everything is ok with your uncle. Is it a cry for help? Has he got lots of stuff going on that he isn't dealing with or is it an attention thing - which are generally the same thing I guess. Hope I am not being nosy but sometimes sharing your concerns makes it easier to deal with ;)
man I am not sleeping well atm and last night when I got home Jake was in bed with Darren but half off it... he was asleep but was almost standing with just his head and shoulders on the bed. But when I came in he got up and walked int the kitchen and pointed to the bench - not sure if he was sleepwalking. Didn't talk didn't want cuddles kept pushing me away then wanted to get on the bench and was pointing to the pantry. I asked him if he wanted a drink, he got a drink bottle tucked it under his arm and went back to our bed. weird
a couple of hours later he rolled off the end of the bed - not the side - not sure how that happened I thought he was curled up in my arms. screamed but didn't wake up properly I don't think and he went back to bed with me cuddling my head with his arm around my neck like a teddy.
I have been thinking about what he ate yesterday in case there was something weird that might of thrown him.... I did have a lazy mummy moment and we had kfc for lunch but unfortunately that wasn't the first time  he did have a sip of my lemonade to and he doesn't have softdrink so maybe it was something there. Or was just one of those things that kids do. hmmmmmmmmm
How was your night Christy after yesterday's dramas?
Jols enjoy play group and hopefully she'll crash in the car on the way home and transfer into the bed really well for you!
Vicky hope your head gets better and the visitors learn that 3 weeks is a long time to be in someone's pocket and do stuff together every second of the day... and that they are visitors and need to fit into your routine.
Tara how is Ben's mum?
Ann hope the twins are good
Gigi hope you are ok
Kim are you back with us?
Sorry if I forgot anyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Jovie woke up at 4.30am this morning :( She woke up yesterday at 5am.... the birds are up then  so I blame them.
darn birds!
so who, with a TT-ing toddler, has had to somehow, clean up "puddles" when you are out, like in a shop. Do you have to carry around stuff to clean up or do people in the shop help you out?
or do you graduate it. LIke ONLY TT at home, and not when out, until TT at home is completely successful. and if you do it that way, HOW do you gauge when HOME TT-ing is successful ENGOUGH to attemtp AWAY FROM HOME toilet training.
i am so dreading this next stage - sounds like a mindfield to me - so many blind corners. (pick the control freak!!).
How are you travellling VIcky? Counting the days, hours, minutes until the visitors go? How is dh? Is he still in rehab mode? or is he all better?
CHristy - maybe you're hidden by lots of moving boxes and i just can't see you.
Ann - can you feel two sets of little legs kicking you yet?
Nelly - The Sleeping Adventures of Jakey - sounds like a book title LOL.
Kim - love the new pics on your facebook photos.
AJP - is your week getting any better?
lol I'm here!!! When I TT Matilda, she was 3... so a long way off. She had issues with it though, and only now it all makes sense. (its a very Asperger's thing to do) I graduated it, so I would TT only at home and dedicate a few days to 1 short trip a day so that we spent more time at home. Then we moved out. Matilda did really well with scheduled wee's, in that I would take her to the toilet every 2 hours or so and if she did anything she got a tic tac... total bribery I know but I was desperate. She took another 4 months to TT poo's. She would come home and beg for a nappy and then poo in it. It took me 4 months to work out that she lost her balance on the toilet everytime she tried to poo, so I put a step under and a big stool in front of the toilet for her to hold onto and she's right. She still only poo's at home or with support to hold onto. She's got amazing control of that.... She still makes mistakes with wee's though, mainly when screaming for hours upon end.
So basically with her, I made sure we had it at home and then went out. She was not allowed to wear pull ups or nappies to Montessori, so she HAD to be TT by then. Even then, she had to start 3 months late...
Packing, only starting. Sitting here stressing about having a place to live *groan*
Christy - great news about your mum. Woohooo!!! that's something you can be relieved about. Fantastic. We are in Marrickville in Sydney about 20mins out from the city in the inner west. We'd love to catch up.
Jols - OH! I wanted to find out what you were having (pout)
Sounds like the babies are all pushing our buttons. Ella's not having b'fast and wants something other than the meal I put in front of her. Its a struggle. I say no and she screams. Sometimes she goes to daycare without b'fast but i'm not budging.
Nelly - Sleep. Sleep. That's how I survived the first 3 months.
Tara - the foot spa would have been good. We went to the pool at 3pm to cool off and it was LURVELY...
Twins going well. Having quite a few Braxton hicks already and my tummy goes rock hard. The babies are kicking in the evenings and seem to be fine. Work is blah. more stress. but i'm going to pass it onto someone else. I cant do it.
Ann
i'm here, just. so so tired for some reason and so freakin moody.
anyways, ben's mum goes into hospital monday afternoon, so we'll see where its all at then.
as for toilet training - i have been lazy.
Hey, Ann, you're really more than half way arent you? dont they expect twins around 37-38 weeks, not 40?
