Tara - i end up offering bilby, maybe six different meal choices over an hour. Most get thrown on the floor, or she shakes her head violently and makes unhappy noises. I try not to react, go away and make her something else, bring that back and present it positively. It is rare for her to actually TRY somethign and then knock it back, she just knocks it back first off. So hard to get her to try anything i prepare her.
Christy - so pleased for you that you've found somewhere to live.

Arghhhhh...we left at 10.05pm..arrived in NSW at 645am.....sooooo tired...the girls slept maybe 2 hours of the whole trip!!!!

arghh Kim. i am having flashbacks of my journey to and from Narooma in July - NEVER again.
we brought aston a bed today.... I feel so incredibly sad. silly I know - but for me that is the last "baby" thing for me. I am grieving a little I think. No more babies for me, :cry:

Well, i got out and went to playgroup today....why the hell i didnt do it months ago, i dont know! but it was good, a bit hard to balance chino and evie but still well worth it!

I got evie out of the shower tonight and noticed a red patch on her foot. on closer inspection there were two puncture marks right in the centre. she seemed fine, didnt develop a fever or vomiting but i am definately getting on to pest control tomorrow, i've been putting it off for months so thats it!

Wow...its been hetic...the girls have been sleeping well though!
We have our ladybug party today....im so excited..the cake is awesome mum and i made!!
Annnnd.....Miss Jasmine is 1 tomorrow.....gee this time last year i was in early labour....argh..12 months has flown and my baby is becomingg a toddler :(:(

We waited up until 12.06am when she was born and said happy birthday...even though Jas was sound asleep. I was pretty emotional...its been a journey until now and i look forward to many more years!!
Party was awesome...her cake looked great...will put some pics up on FB when we arrive back in VIC tomorrow night.

I'm not doing so well this morning girls. Its all a bit much this moving thing. DH & I had a few spacks over the last few days... I know moving is supposed to be one of the most stressful things, but I am one huge cranky pants. Then to top it off, DH is a calm, relaxed individual mostly .... mostly... unless Matilda's acting up.... Anyway, he just looks at me like, "Why are you so stressed?" I screamed at him yesterday "I'm stressed because you are too relaxed about this!!!!"
huge :hug: christy. moving is hard enough without adding the whole moving interstate aspect! i remember how stressed i was moving from Sydney to Queensland 11 years ago - when I only had one little person to worry about. the thought of doing it now with three kids makes my blood run cold. vent away hun. mind dump when ever you can. :hug:

Well, i dont know whats happened lately. First of all, evie is putting herself to sleep all the time now! and sleeping thru the night!!! YAY YAY!! It only took 2 years but it finally happened!!!
So on that front, things are great but in the tantrum department!!!! this morning, i couldnt believe it! she went mental. wouldnt eat, wouldnt sit, wouldnt stand, HAD to have her clothes off, and this went on for an hour before i finally stuck her dummy in her mouth and took her into our bedroom and just laid on the bed with her. then she finally calmed down, went and had some toast and settled. but then more of the same later today, she doesnt want to eat and just gets so cranky so quick. its like she's overtired all the time, but getting heaps of sleep. man alive! meanwhile poor chi-chi just sits there waiting for his turn :( breaks my heart, i could spend all day just looking at his little face, his smile just makes my day.
my sweet sweet DH went out and bought me one of those Pandora-style bracelets today, just because he thought i needed to feel special. what a darling
awww taralee... that's beautiful. i would love one of them. yay for you babe. Random acts of kindness are the best.
