Hi
Sorry havn't been on we havn't been verry well at all but were all better now Georgia is back to daycare this week and swimming lessons and i might be starting a new job just waiting for that phone call to say when i start.
Kim wow that was a rough trot the other day with the scans im glad all is well and congrats on your new Daughter to be so what are you going to name her?
Hope you get teh job Lea....yay for Georgia being better
As for namess...its a secret....gotta give you all some surprise....!
Kim - congrats on another girl. The more girls in the world the less wars i think. I've loved the names for each of your girls so the next one must be a corker.
Gigi - Cant believe people are so stupid and oppinionated. Mind your own business people!
Tara - hugs on giving up your kitty. we had to do the same thing - he was just miserable with the competition in his life. We hear from his new owner and he seems really happy.
Well tomorrow we go in for our Nuchal and I cant sleep. :) I'm excited and anxious. I hope everything will be ok. I know it will be but I'm just full of nerves.
MS is starting to go. I get 1/2 day clear without nausea and then it hits me but at least I get 1/2 day a week! Got free tickets to Andrea Bochelli tonight but passed it up coz i was worried I wouldnt be near my own bathroom. Nothing worse than chucking in public!
The other thing I'm feeling these babies moving! Wierd coz I only felt Ella after 20wks but I can definitely feel movement this time.
And Kim - i'm was out of my jeans at 7 weeks! I love my maternity and tracksuit pants.
Ella is obsessed by the swimming pool, Lady birds and snails. We got her these pegs with ladybirds on them and her face just lit up! so gorgeous.
Ann
Good luck today Ann!!!
good luck Ann! Cant wait to hear how it goes!
LOL Is this a wonder week for chino?! man alive! i didnt get to bed until 130 last night, then DH got home from work at 230 then chino was back up at 430 before evie woke at 530.
At least evie slept alllll night in her own cot!!!! woot!!
also, i've been taking psyllium at night, does anyone know if that can go through to breastmilk and upset bubby's tummy?
off to have a shower...the days almost over!! :(
hidey ho peoples.
Wow ann - 12 weeks already. I felt movement with Aston at 12 weeks. 14weeks with Laura and Nathan. I think you are more aware. and realise that those "bubbles" are baby moving about. or in your case - babies! look forward to hearing about the scan today.
Tara - how can Chino be nearly a month old already????? far out this year is just going to quick. yay that Evie is sleeping in her own bed again.
Blanche - your new photos of the kids on facebook are gorgeous. Emelia looks like she has all the attitude that Aston possesses!!
Kim - how's the crawling Jas going - Chelsea enjoying having a little sister who is on the move?
gigi - we have to think of a really pithy smart reply for you to be able to give back to people. one that will leave them gobsmacked, without being offensive.... I will keep thinking. I love that fact that people have an opinion to give - even when they aren't asked!!!
Lea - good luck with the job. Glad Georgia is all better. Aston seems to be all better now too - thank god!
Jols - how you feeling? got a belly shot for us yet?
Christy - no matter about not being able to catch up at Pioneer park the other day. Claire (mummabear) and Nelly came. it was a lovely day, and we played in the park for hours. Aston was shattered that night. Planning to go Wednesday week (3rd Sept) if you think you can manage it.
I had blood tests last week - the annual glucose tolerance test, and a whole lot of others. haven't got hte results back yet. this afternoon off to have an ultrasound of my right breast. I have a tender spot that has been there since before I went away... from all accounts, it is probably nothing, but the doctor wants to get it looked out Just in Case... can't help but feel a little apprehensive.
DH and I went out this morning and had brunch, and then got a whole lot of supplies for the garden. Our lease has been extended another six months, with probably another six months after that, so I have decided to resurrect the vege patch - but do it properly this time. The kids have to help me if they want to be able to sell any excess produce. it is a 3m x 6m plot...
 Gigi... sorry I've been MIA but one thing to remember is that people are quite happy for you to bottle feed until they are almost 3!!!! why can't you bf that long? Isn't it supposed to be the same thing?
What a pity you had to pass up the free tickets to Andrea Bocelli - wow, that would have been wonderful. But i can totally understand you being worried about not being near a bathroom for that length of time.
Hope the NT goes well for you, another chance to see your twins dance!
i love Ella's blog, so cute, imagining her with ladybird pegs.
Vicky - enjoy the veggie patch planning, i love watching the QLD segments on gardening australia shows and podcasts, i think they must show the greener, wetter parts of QLD, cos everything seems to grow like a weed and is SO lovely and green.
bilby's dry hacky cough has progressed to a snotty runny nose and a wet cough, i'm vic vapourising her back and soles of her feet (thanks Blanchie!) and dosing her up on Dimetapp when it gets really bad. I have a sewing day planned (for MONTHS!!!0 with a local belly belly friend for Wednesday - i REALLY don't want to have to cancel!! we cancelled CC today, and from 12 - 2, she fed from me and fell asleep on me (so unusual for her to have a day sleep). I was too scared to move, cos she does not transfer well, so i thought, best thing for a sick bilby to do is sleep it off, so i kept as still as i could FOR TWO HOURS!!! boy am i stiff now ha ha, but she was much better this afternoon, so i think it was worth it.
Gigi - I took evie to the dr the other day for her conjunctivitis and i mentioned that she'd been coughing a bit, the dr said that babies/toddlers never cough unless it's chesty. so coughs should always get medical attention - sorry, not to second guess you or anything - that was just information i wasnt aware of, so thought i would pass it on, since poor bilby seems to be having a rough time!
Vicky - sounds soooo therapeutic! i'd love to have a vegie patch..but would probably fall by the wayside like everything else i start! Good luck with those test results!
Chino's put on 600gm in 2 weeks!! and i mentioned to the nurse that he was really unsettled so she took him from me and showed me a different way to get wind up, so right on cue he threw up on her and then had the cheekiest smile you have ever seen!! with some little 'coo's' to boot!!
Argh sick as a dog...spent the day in bed, cramps, nausea and just slept all day.
BBL when im better :(
Hey Vicky - how much longer before you get your test results? I know you will breathe easier once you hear what's what.
Kim, sorry to hear you're feeling crook.
Taralee - thanks for the advice, after how the GP reacted last time i took bilby, this time, i felt a bit gunshy of rushing to the GP again. thanks for your words. Part of me is starting to worry that if i take her to the GP for each cold, she will get too many doses of antibiotics and not develop natural immunities. I don't want to put her at risk, i dunno - it's quite a balancing act isn't it?
i've been asking about ways to treat ear infections without antibiotics, for the same reason.
her getting a course of AB's is convenient for me, but i'm thinking of her immune system long term.
i know i sound such a ditherer - sorry to sound so annoying.
i turn myself inside out, wondering how the hell to work out what is the RIGHT thing for her!!! (i realise no-one can give me that answer, i'm just being silly).
nothing silly about it gigi - its part of being a mummy. I have predisone in the fridge to use for croup - yet I won't give it to aston until I have seen the doctor. i hate giving it to him. so what you are saying makes perfect sense. I have heard that garlic oil capsules are supposed to be fantastic for ear infections. I have never used it, but know people who have, and its worked well. i'm sure there is some literature about it on the net.
my ultrasound was clear thank goodness, still have to get my Blood test results.
i have major dramas with my sister, leaving abusive messages on my phones. sigh. we placed a block on her number, but its seems to have stopped working, so DH is on the phone to telstra now to get it fixed. the messages are so nasty, i'm feeling sick about it.
Hugs V.....hope DH can sort out your number for you..how rude of your sister :)
Im feeling much better today...think it was a case of not being able to go to the loo and it just all backing upp.....sorry TMI....still nto much better today but not is as nearly as much pain as yesterday.
Went on a shopping spree today....bought Chelsea a stack of summer clothes....soooo gorgeous..all on layby...Jasmine got a few items...as did BumbleeBee!
3 very lucky girls to be spoilt!!
..And on top of that i got my iPhone :P
woo woo big spender Kim! ;) Glad you had fun!
Gigi - i know what you mean! it is so so tricky...i don't like giving evie panadol for every little thing, then i end up giving it to her all the time...i just go by the mantra 'do the best with you know at the time'. maybe you need to 'shop' around for another GP...some actually advertise themselves now as also using alternative therapies as well as western medicines.
Vicky - sorry to hear about you sister. don't make yourself sick about it, try and rise up ;)
i went to bed I was feeling so sad and angry and confused. then i got a whole lot of messages from various people who love me, and that made me feel better. I'm shaking it off - her journey, her pain, her drama. thanks tara.
big  vicky, as you saif her drama hers to deal with, put it out of your mind, hope things get better for you!! how are your three???
tara wow chino is a month old!!! crazy!!! still feeding well!????
