i feel like Blanche, we are not all carbon copies of each other, and that is ok.
But i do feel we have enough in common with each other, to make this a great group of belly buddies.
i do think a private PM rather than a public record, would have been more appropriate, to give Kim a chance to explain her sense of humour/way of expressing herself.
i have no idea who reported Kim or maybe a mod just looked thru the thread, who knows, but if that report means Kim will no longer be in our group, that makes me feel sad that we will lose/ or have lost Kim.

hello lovelies. Our father's day started off ok, and went pear shaped as the day progressed. Laura is Premenstrual and as moody as buggery. We were working on the vege patch and she was cranky and mean. Aston had high temps and a yuk nose, so is home today. I was up on and off all night last night. Hopefully today will mark the beginning of a better week!
Aston is chatting away heaps too, and trying lots of new words. We are all playing the game with him "Say xxxxx (a word)" Its funny, because you can see him thinking about it before he tries.
I have launched my own WAHM business - and are very excited about it. Its keeping me busy, and motivated. Are enrolling in uni this week for next year. I am planning to do one unit of work over the summer, and returning fulltime in March. DH's dad and partner arrive in 3 weeks from the UK. have so much to do around the house!!!! DH's shoulder is still keeping him out of action, much to his frustration (and MINE!) so it is busy busy busy here at the moment.

I've had a bad neck all week & getting headaches from it. Going to acupuncture tonight so hopefully that will help.
Matilda's having a stomping tantrum atm.... oh lordy. Jovie's trying to copy.... and keeps falling over :lol:

Lol at jovie copying Matilda. hope the acupuncture works. my blood tests showed that I was anemic (sp??) so the doctor wants me to take iron tablets for six months and retest. I had an ultrasound on my breast, and it showed that it was just glandular tissue that is sore...
Have to admit that since I have been busy busy busy I am sleeping better, and my head space is better, so I feel better.... lol if any of that actually makes any sense.
Are we going to do Kris Kringle??? I'd like to.

Vicky, what does glandular tissue beign sore mean? is that something you can get alleviated? is it know WHY your glandular tissue is sore? I'm so glad for your it's not breast cancer :hug:, i am assuming that was the reason behind needing the testing?
i know we have MILK glands in teh breast, is the glandular tissue soreness to do with that? or are there other glands in the bresat?
I've tried to get into bellybely a few times over last day or so, and kept getting error messages - so that's why i havne't been posting.

Taralee - great that Evie is saying so many words now, and Sophie too AJP - i know i tried to post a few days ago, not sure if it worked or not.

apparently gigi its left over milk glands - the words the radiographer used is that there was an island of tissue there. when it is no longer used it turns to fatty tissue. Which is obviously why everytime I have had a child my boobs have gotten bigger - from a b cup before kids to a dd/e now! I'm going to keep an eye on it tho. the tenderness has subsided thank goodness.

I'm here busy and keeping busy.
Had a scan on Tuesday bcos of my history of ectopic / molar / miscarriages going back on Thursday to clarify a few things - can't stress about what I cannot change so I am good!
Unfortunately Jake has given me his bug so have a head cold and cough from hell and just want to sleep plus odd waves of nausea - hahahaha but apart form that I really am good. :rolleyes:
Looking forward to Tuesday morning Vicky is doing a get together with me and we'll be looking at some lovely books - all brissie girls are welcome!

My machine broke while I was just starting on the dress, so I hand sewed it!!!
Gigi... my secret was... I knew how I wanted it to look at the end. I'm a terrible sewer... I can't look at patterns or use fiddly bits so if I can't work it out in my head before I start, I just don't do it LOL.... too lazy really.
Nelly :hug: I know it must be stressful right now. I hope you are feeling better now.
Jovie's been so funny lately... dancing around. I'm secretly paranoid about her hips. I'm seeing a physio with her in a week to see if there is anything going on. She walks on one tip toe all the time & isn't climbing right, she goes to climb and can't get one leg up as high as the other. Its a secret because I haven't even told DH my fear about it. She was checked last at 12 months and was deemed okay, so it may just be paranoia. Which would be the best outcome!!

hope everything's ok with Jovie Christy
Had Chino's 6 week check up today. he's putting on an average of 291gm a week instead of 150 so i'm well pleased. he feeds in 10mins and sleep for anywhere between 4 and 7 hours at a time so i really hit the jackpot with this one! lol i deserve after months of sleepless nights with evie...which, coincidentally has started sleeping thru the night in her own bed again
am feeling much better in myself too so thumbs up

Excellent Jols! I keep meaning to sort out what i'm doing with evie in regards to kindy and stuff but it just seems so far away! then i hear that some places have a 3 year waiting list in which case i'm too late!!!

hi girls... I had the BEST day today. I wish you guys could have been there. I caught up with Chirsty Nelly, and another BB friend Gill. Thank you sooooooooooo much christy and Nelly for your support with my new business venture. I love you guys so much for being there for me. It means a lot. for the first time in ages I feel like I am making a valid contribution - ironic because the skills I have to do this I have gotten from being a mummy - lol, funny how that Job doesn't get the recognition it deserves eh?
Tara - its wonderful that Evie is sleeping better hun - i keep thinking that I need to get aston into a bed, but are so not ready to do it. I keep looking at him tho, thinking "your too big for the cot now"

Jols - i had BH's too early with all my pregnancies - with each one a little earlier then the last. and mine were all uncomfortable - and towards the end downright painful! I envy the people who have BH painlessly.
Blanche - how's your two doing hun? I was looking at your photos on face book the other day. Emelia looks so big next to Jack now. she's all growed up... :( Goes too quick doesnt it? I cant believe my baby girl is turning 13 in Jan!
Ann - how are you hun? I have been wondering about you... i haven't seen any posts from you for a while. is everything ok? (going to go searching now....)

Vicky it was great to see you, you look absolutely fantastic! Nope, Jovie screamed until the gateway bridge and then slept 10 minutes only to wake up as soon as I stopped the car. No more sleep, but lots more grumps!!
Tara... I only signed Matilda up when she was 2. I found that the 2 kindy's I was thinking of were filled up, but I got her into 2 others. I tried one community kindy and had bad results but the Montessori went well. I know there's a Montessori down the coast, just not sure where. Its totally different in QLD to Vic, I get so confused lol. The C & K's are the ones that fill up first, they are fantastic!

were doing toddler group which is the same as playgroup just in kinder environment!

prep (non compulsory) 4-5 yrs
grade 1-6 (compulsory)5-6yrs
So there is nothing official... there is pre-prep available through most places that used to do kindy.
So different!!! I enrolled Matilda in a kindy program because I thought it was needed socially.

Not there! When she woke up from her big 10 minutes she wasn't hot at all, but I kept her pants off the rest of the day. She hasn't gotten hot again :dunno:.

small victory dance... Aston did a wee on the potty before he got in the bath tonight. I ask him every night before he gets in the bath "do you want to do a wee on the potty" sometimes he will sit on it, most of the time he doesn't. tonight he walked over, got on by himself, and did one. Yay! Of course DH said - oh i showed him how to do that last night (when I was out!) lol

:hug: yuck. I have those nights. I'm now hopelessly addicted to my acupuncturist. She's fixed me up and if I have any issues.... I go straight back to her for a session. It took 3 goes for my hips and now they are beautiful!

think i will have to look into something else. the physio helped - and I keep doing my exercises but its sore because I over exercised it ;) doing the wild thing lol...

jols just being a bit cautious until my second scan tmrw to make sure is all ok. I took it off when I started spotting on Friday was worried after all the dr said to me but spotting hasn't progessed to anything else so fingers crossed am all ok. will redo tmrw after I have some proper dates
