Kim - hang in there. You are doing a wonderful job with all that you have on your plate.

Gigi - Hope you find a place to stay soon. We started Ella in the bed too last weekend. She rolled off on the first day and slid under the bed. Poor thing was terrified. I lowered the bed right down to the floor and she has a little play sofa pushed up against it as we dont have a bed guard.

She seems to love it that low and doesnt move around in bed as much since her tumble.

Hope the TT improves for you.

We are doing well. Ella is having a few issues with my MIL. She keeps *babying* ella and touching her and preening her and she hates it. Its been going on for a few months and I've asked DH to talk to her about it but he hasnt of course. So I said to Ella to say "STOP NANNA" if she doesnt like what she does. She used her words today (like a tropper) and nanna stopped only to start up again 10mins later. Ella just got annoyed and screamed and cried. I feel so awful for ella but I just dont want to raise it as it would make my MIL feel awful...

These twins are playing havoc with my bladder. Got up 6 times these last few nights to go to the toilet but then discovered i didnt need to go at all. Sooooo frustrating considering it takes me 5mins to actually get out of bed!

I found Chelsea on the lounge last night....she was snuggled up with her Isabella doll....sound alseep. Not sure why. So tonight ive put a pillow and blanket out JIC she does it again.

Im finding it hard to get time to post....and when i do post its my BF problems..LOL

Not much happening in our little world....just taking it a day at a time....step by step. Adjusting with a NB is different...i forgot how things change!

hon, IMO, a DAY with a newboen can be a long time, cos so much can happen. Your mood/emotion can experience so many highs and lows. that LOVE hormone is really full on just after you've given birth, like a natural euphoria. Lots to adjust to.

Just give yourself the freedom that you do have options, you may not know what they all are today, but that's ok. You can find out more tomorrow. or the next day.

ask for support and advice, learn what you can
but make your own decisions, own them, and don't let anyone push you into anything
doesn't matter if 99 other people do X

i'm so glad to hear your stitches are healing well, that's great.

does your doula come every day or 2nd day to check on you? help you wiht queries?
or do you get left alone when it's your 3rd bubba?

Luua - times like this, it would be good to be a man, and just pee in a bottle (when in bed), save you getting up! How frustrating about how Ellas' grandma treats her, you must be biting holes in your tongue!! Ella is not a doll!

bilby is now in knickers at childcare, for a few hours each afternoon she's there. i collect her, and she's in knickers and dry! she won't use their potty or little toilet - she just holds on!!! won't use the potty at home either. wakes up dry in the morning. Hates having a nappy or knickers put on her - wants to be nude i think. just so hard to do that in a 3 year old rental with white rubbishy carpet in the bedrooms. i'm terrified of what might happen if i let her go nude. (to the crappy carpet).

WTG Bilby on the knickers!!! Thats great Gigi thats she is dry. I want to get started on TT....but has to wait til i get some time and in a routine a bit more!

BF'ing going ok..bit hit and miss atm still....so not sure what im doing (whether to keep trying or give in). His eye is crappy still so least the milk is being used for something ;)

bilby is not dry all the time, i suspect being dry at kindy, is to do with NOT wanting to use their potty. Come to think of it, she doesn't like our potty either (we have two).

she hasn't been in knickers Sat or Sun, maybe i'll try her tomorrow. I wait unti she has had a pooey nappy, THEN put her in knickers. although she did do her first poo (golfball) in a pair of knickers recently, and it wasn't nearly as bad as i had imagined (to clean up).

i'm a bit shirty, cos here she is at TT-ing stge, i bought so much material to make mcn with, realised that wasn't going to happen, so thought, ok, i'll make trainers out of that stuff. but here she is, ready to wear the stuff, it's not made, cos i still haven't got a machine, or the clutter sorted out. so i'm sad that i haven't made the trainers for her, that i had planned on doing. i can't actually buy what i would like, and i have all the materials just sitting there.

i'm quite stuck about how to leave dh. Need to get some info from him (so would have to tell him my intentions) adn wihtout that info, i can't get the Housing Trust to help me with bond for a private rental, so, feeling stuck. I think he will be very cross that i want to leave adn that i will be taking bilby, he'll use every argument under the sun, we'll have to move to a worse area (for more money, in the private rental market), with crappier housing etc. (we're already not in a great area). so i'm sure he will trot out the obvious - you're putting bilby in danger etc. and to a degree he might be right, i just don't know.

oh Gigi :hug: if I had the $$ it would be coming your way so you don't have to worry about all of that. Its so hard, if things went bad with Dh right now... I think we'd have to move back to Brisbane to get through it... Sydney's too expensive for that.

TT-Jovie is still screaming everytime we put her on the potty or the toilet, so we still aren't doing it. She tells me when she wee's or poo's then screams through every nappy change. Its frustrating, but alas... I'll just keep putting her on the toilet every Sunday night until she stops screaming & then try to TT.

i'm here.... just not got a lot to say. x

ddon't worry Christy we aren't even considering tt atm - Jake tells us when he is weeing and occasionally before he poos, and even asks to sit on the toilet sometimes but that is where we will leave it until he wants to take it further.

On a good note he has slept thru every night bar one since we got home from hospital so if it wasn't for my pea sized bladder and 20 point turns everytime I want to roll over we are having full nights sleep!

Sold the old car on the weekend! Woohoo. Ella said "now we have to put it in a plastic bag"!!! hilarious.

Went out for Chinese New Year last night. Ella got to bed at 9.30 last night and was ferral this morning! Great timing for our appointment with the bank manager to organise the loan for the new car!

34wks now only a few weeks to go with this enormous bump. Going to do our birth plan today and cleaning out my overnight bag. Getting excited now!

my family's been over visiting from perth so i havent been around for a while. they just left and now i am left to go back to things...
makes me realise why i am so so tired all the time. up all night with 2 kids and then trying to get everything done in the day. my sister would make dinner and clean up everything while i put the kids to bed, then she'd do my nails or give me a facial...
bit sad i am

Oh and we got Chino Baptised yesterday. lovely day. will try and get pics on facebook soon
