Snopea - you brave brave woman!! :D Goodluck with the kidlings today!
HJ - that would be hilarious if were both preggers together. Especially if we both were already. O wait! Was that hilarious or scary? I get my words mixed up sometimes. ;)
Hollye - How funny about Mia just giving up and sleeping! What a cutie. Aren't they gorgeous.
Tan - thinking of you today. Hope its a good one despite DH flying out.
Hi to everyone else too.
-
Morning all,
Snoop they are driving me insane, the older two are like Britney, they are so use to have alot of stimulus from the other kids as well as the teachers and they are getting bored really easy.
HJ I hope that the realestate agent finally got there to take the pics
Not much going on here, just making extra sure the house is clean as a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a long time is coming to visit tomorrow with her 3 kids so will be good to catch up with her.
hugs xoxo

Hi all!
Tan- I hope everything goes ok for you today!!
Just a quick question for you all...do you wrap (swaddle) your little ones or use a sleeping bag? Or just blankets??
-
hippie - Mia just has a blanket. She would go nuts if i put her in a sleeping bag or wrapped her still and its way too hot for that atm anyway.
-
snoop - dont be worried about his rashyness. I actually took mia to the doc when hers got real bad once (about 8 weeksish) and the doc said its very normal and will be completly gone by 4 months ( so your only half way there!) but if it gets really bad.. like covers there whole face, the doc can give them something ( i think its an injection of some sort). HTh
Amanda - how funny is it that our house is always perfect when guests come over but any other day it just seems we dont have enough time to do everything. Its weird.. when guests are coming its like there is suddenly more hours in the day and we even get the floor moped!
-
hippy Julian still wants to be wrapped, he won't sleep otherwise, we just use the summer/muslin type of wraps and I just leave his feet unwrapped. Also during the day I only have him in a singlet and nappy to keep him a bit cooler.
Hollye your so right, you always want people to think that you are so orgainised and house is perfect all the time (not that this house stays that way for long ), will have to do a quick clean tomorrow as well.
Julian is 12 weeks today as well, boy has the time flown by. Last night he decided to sleep through again so hopefully that will continue.
hugs xoxo

Hippy - we havent swaddled Liam for quite a while, it just got too hot. Now he rarely has any covers except on the odd day/night when it cools down, and then we just use a blanket or usually just a doubled-over muslin over him (no swaddling). I was saying to DH just yesterday, he wont know whats going on when he has to have proper covers on him. Liam would probably love a sleeping bag - something for him to kick at and have fun with! My little frog-boy.
Hollye/AJ - my nanna comes round every Wednesday. Its amazing how organised and on top of things I am by 12noon every Wednesday! Still it gives me the incentive to work that little bit harder to keep the place tidy which keeps me sane.

Hi everyone, haven't time to read all that I have missed (cause it is pages lol) so no personals. Hope everyone is doing ok.
I have been battling a bout of depression. Not sure if it is from my BP meds, PND or normal depression so will be asking the dr on Friday to rule out medical sources. Hope he can sort it out because I feel like crap. Just want to cry all the time and the slightest remark from DF can set me off. Have been having dreams where I have bought my own house and moved out. I don't really want to do that.
Meara is going really well and growing so fast. She is now in the next size up nappies (5-11kg) and in 000 clothes. Still doing the comp feeding and it is working for us. She is smiling and cooing at us every morning and it is so good. Although trying to look after the 2 youngest is very trying at times as Kaylee is very high maintenance lol.
Hippy - I still swaddle Meara as she doesn't sleep well if she is unwrapped but use light weight wraps. I am leaving them looser though than what I used to.
Hollye - Happy 21st Birthday. That was a long time ago for me lol. I turned 40 last October and then had Meara 3 days later hehehe. They tell me life begins at 40 but I didn't expect to still be having babies : 8
Have to go but happy thoughts to everyone. Take care over these holidays

Goodmorning All
Bianca didnt cope well with her needles - she screamed the surgery down and sobbed her little heart out ALL day - and she refused to drink or sleep! my poor bubba - broke my heart - i felt so cruel holding her down - exspecially for the 2nd needle - she looked up at me in my eyes to say no mummy -but i did it! before that she was having such a good day laughing and smiling also - so now im the meanest mummy in the world and she prob dosent love me as much - i cried after! so the poor doc had 2 females to try and settle - in the end he just left us in his surgery to settle ourselves! hahaha
She also had a restless night last night - so i hope she has a better day today!
My post natal Appt went well - im all fixed up and apparently (stop reading now may be too much info) i have pelvic floor muscles that most woman would die for - she was very proud of me that it was obvious i had been doing my exercises! hahaha
sorry no time atm for personals - B is still a bit upset and is making it hard to type atm - hahaha
oh realestate finally turned up yesterday and took pics of the house - and we had our 1st possible buyer look thru - we think we have also found the one for us - looking at it again tonight!
Tan - is it today DH leaves? if so im thinking of u - :(
-
hi guys!!
sorry, Have been awol again  I know its late but I hope you all had a fantastic xmas and I wish you all the best, peace love and happiness for this new year....:)
We have been all over the countryside the last few weeks, seeing all the families etc, poor jacob probably didnt know what hit him!
he has started sleeping through most nights, which is a bonus for me, I wasnt expecting that so soon.
sorry no personals, I have pages and pages to catch up on, I will get to it!
have a great day!
-
Hi everyone,
hj - i'm feeling for you and Bianca about the needles, it was horrible and i'm really dreading the next lot already. Did you givr her any panadol? I'm not into giving panadol but had to the night Olive had her needles as she just wouldn't settle. I don't think she was right for about a week afterwards, really jittery etc.
hippy - Hope the conjuctivitis is better. I noticed that you co-sleep and thought it might be worth mentioning that it is probably a good idea to change the sheets every day if you don't already as it is reaaaalllly contagious. We still wrap Olive and just use muslin. We don't put her arms in though and havenn't for ages, it's more like a sleep cue for her.
We have had a pretty busy week. On Tuesday we went to the ABA meeting then went and saw some family and went to clinic. Olive now weighs 6.45kgs and is 61.4cm! She will be 12wks tomorrow. She is sleeping really well, between 8-10hrs staight of a night and usually one big 4-5hr in the day with a few smaller ones.
Olive has just woken up so gotta go, have a good day!
-
Hippy - we swaddle Bianca in a muselin wrap - soon we will be trying to ween her out of it and leaving her arms out than nothing at all! it helps her sleep and she sleeps thru pretty much when she has it!
Olivesmummy - i dont like using panadol either (unless its really needed) it dosent fix anything just hides the problem - but we had no choice last night - but she spat most of it out anyway! dont blame her it taste awful!
Olive is growing soooo fast - i cant wait to get B measured and weighed next week - hasnt been done for awhile cause the nurse at chemist is away!
Starry - welcome back! glad to hear u and jacob are going well
Kim - sorry to hear about the depression - i hope things get much better for u very soon!
-
Morning all!
Olive'smummy-Funny you mention washing the sheets everyday. I have this house as clean as a hospital at the moment!! DH thinks I've lost the plot! I think I washed my hands 700 time yesterday!! I'm determined to get rid of it! We both seem much better this morning, but back to the doctors tomorrow.
HJ-Didn't they do the needles at the same time? That's mean! Its awful isen't? I felt soooo bad. DS was much better the next day, so hopefully Bianca is better today! :crossfingers: for the house!
Kimb-I hope things improve for you!!
Amanda-Yeah DS is the same, won't sleep unless he's wrapped (or if we are out he has to be held) I think I might start putting him in a sleeping bag for one of his sleeps during the day to get him used to it.
:hello: to everyone else!
Our little man has been sleeping through, except for the last two nights, so I'm feeling it today!! I don't mind though, I prefer that he has the extra feed because for a while there, he was only having 6 feeds in 24 hrs. He gets weighed on Tuesday so that will tell us how we are going. He is in 00 :o in almost everything now, my bubba is not so little anymore!!
-
HI everyone!
Kim - Sorry to hear about your depression hun, maybe mention it to your GP or CHN and see if you can get see someone to talk about it.
Hippie - James is still wrapped tightly but he gets his arms out by morning. When he is overtired he needs to be wrapped, having said that he will fall asleep with nothing over him in the cot arms overhead quite often too! I will get him in a sleeping bag soon I think, for when he moves out of the hammock to the cot. Izzy is still in one and we LOVE it - keeps her warm and snug.
HJ - I bawled with Izzy's needles too -its horrible to hear them crying like that.
Waaaahhhh DH is in Chicago - Im tracking his flight online and it's been delayed a bit so I doubt he will go to see BIL and SIL at night as it will be too late. I just want him safe on the ground in Montreal. Had a good night - Izzy stayed at mums so I got a delicious sleep in! James slept from 9-9 so that was nice! Should be cleaning the house while I can but I just got out of the bath and am having brekky! Chat later!
