    csab - I hope V's u/s goes well today.

PP - I hope you have a better night with Ashley tonight.

Georgi - I know how you feel about BJ crying the whole plane ride. That's my experience with Maya every time I put her in the car. I hope BJ is doing better today.

kuraiza - Sounds like Jude's being adorable. Maya's also exploring my face at the moment. I sometimes chomp on her hand when it's near my mouth and she'll get a fright then giggle with delight. So cute. What brand of covers do you have?

katones - Where do you get your fleecy covers from?

Sami - I hope Z is better soon.

Well Maya was up twice last night, which is better than three times. I feel wrecked though cos I had only just fallen asleep before the first wake up. I am struggling to fall asleep at night the moment cos I keep thinking she's going to wake any second.

KATONES What's with these men.... My GF went camping with her 4 month old cloth bum boy. She reckons it wasn't as hard as she thought it would be. She just gave them a good rinse

KURAIZA Funny enough I have yoga video's & even use to teach yoga when I was aerobic instructing... But I just can't get motivated to do it on my own. Actually, I can't motivate myself to do any exercise these days. I guess 10 years of instructing has taken it's toll

TANYA I'm fortunate that BJ is pretty good in the car, most of the time. His screaming didn't so much bother me, just the fact that everyone around us was obviously thinking "shut that kid up"!

Tanya: I have bummis superbrite, motherease rikki and tots bots. I don't see any particular difference with the PUL covers, except the leg gussets on the superbrite are real gussets. However, I've found that they don't leak even without gussets.

For ease of all-in-one shopping I highly recommend nurture nappies. She even threw in any extra nappy for me because I bought a lot in one hit. I used another popular online store and my order was screwed up and took ages to be delivered. I have bad luck with online shopping so if I find one that works, I'll stick to it. Also, the nurture nappies web site is so easy to navigate. I'm a website snob, if I can't find what I'm looking for in 5 seconds I lose interest (that's the problem with the other WFHM sites I've seen).

Woops, Jude naked on the floor, I should check on his wee status.

kuraiza - Yeah I came across the nurture nappies website on my nappy search and really like the look of it too. I found another site and was going to buy a couple of nappies from them (cos they were on sale), but when I tried to buy them they didn't have any in stock. Anyway, my brain feels fried from looking at all the options and learning about cloth nappies. I wish I could see all the different types IRL and even try them on Maya.

    HI All,

Have just come back from the Childrens hospital anyway V was soooo good. What a good little baby girl I have here. She let them do what they had to and the only time she cried when they had to pop her up on a pillow with her shoulders hanging off it. Anyway the u/s technician went and got the Dr to come and talk with me, who seemed a bit concerned at first. Apparently V has something like a very small freckle on her heart on the left side. He said to me that they used to get excited when they saw that as it meant that there was a chromosome abnormalty, but they ended up finding out that it doesnt just happen to kids with a chromome abnormalty that it can happen with healthy kids too. They checked her heart the vessels etc and all are normal. There are no holes in the heart and nothing that will affect her heart. This little freckle (not sure what they call it) is harmless as far as I am aware and does not affect the function of the heart, so it is not operable. As far as they are concerned all is normal. The DR even asked if I was ok during pgcy. Anyway I know I should be jumping up and down with sheer relief but I just wish they would stop mentioning chromosomes.... It just drives me nuts. They are sending a report thru to the Genetics Dr and the Pead so I guess I will hear more once I see the Pead in March.

CSAB So glad to hear the US went well. I kept logging on to see if you have posted. I understand that their mentioning of chromasomes would be driving you nuts. Particularly after you had to have the amnio. But just remember the amnio came back with the all clear. I'm sure the Paed will put your mind completely at ease. Big hugs & kisses to you both

Tanya: I'm willing to bet the site that is out of stock is the same site that screwed up my order.

Csab: Good to hear the ultrasound went well.

kat- do u know where u going yet? we've got moogoo been putting creams on him for the whole day. poor dragon cries most times, think it stings him...BUT we going to doctors tomoro for his shots & hopefully they can help with his face too. btw we got our amber this morning, its soooo cute

tanya- im waiting for an order frm nurture nappies, they're in FNQ so they're abit backed up with orders due to the flood. my initial order was frm babysoftlandings, she was pretty nice. pity im a lil restricted on time & lack of transport doesnt really help, but if u're still in search of nappies in april let me know. pretty sure i'll b able to swing by then

exam went alright, not much i can do now. 1 down, 2 to go. cant wait for them to be over then its holiday time!!!

csab - So glad the u/s went well!

amy - Hope the move goes smoothly.

teru - Whatcha ordering from Nurture Nappies? Hope your exam went well and good luck for the rest of your exams. I'll prob try and get a few nappies before april but whenever you're free we could meet up. I can always come to you or meet somewhere else if it's easier. Though I'd have to put up with a car ride with a screaming Maya.

Well.. it's now 10pm and Maya just won't go to sleep. I really have to try and sort something out so that we are putting her down earlier at night time. But she tends to sleep till 10am (with some feeds in between) so it makes the day start very late.

Today I went and donated food and clothing to the bush fire appeal. And on the walk home I found $5 in the street - so no one to return it to. It was funny to think I donated stuff and then gained something. Though I will add the $5 to the money we are going to donate.

csab - i'm so glad to hear the u/s went well!!! that must be a huge relief for you.

amy - aaw good luck with the moving - it's a horrible feelign when u need a shower!

I got the follow-up call from my paed today to say that X's hips are categorically ok and he won't even need further monitoring as the structure is just as it should be (so no reason to thing it would change). Otherwise i'm in zombie land at present due to itchy healing so i'm not sleeping well at all. Finally this morning managed to get some sleep, and got informed that X let out a HUGE banshee wail at about 9am. I didn't even hear it honestly it's lucky that DH was around lol. Poor little X wailing away while mummy snoozes! i think he's still a bit unsettled from his 4 month vacc.

ordered a pramskin the other day, can't wait to get it hopefully tomorrow!

Bleh. woke up at 12.30am and 5.00am for feeds, then up at 6.30am to begin the day. Can you say Tie Ed? My husband's sick so he gets to spend all day in bed, what a luxury!

Kur - does he usually sleep through

E hasnt slept throug for about a month now. He is waking about 3-4am for a feed and then at 630 when ashley wakes.

E was an angel going back to sleep last night though at 430.

Last night - A went to sleep without much fuss - a little tears but she had no day sleep at all so she would have been tired. but Then ashley walked down to our room about 430am -i hear her carrying her footstool to open our door - and when i picked her up realised she was covered in vomit.

So spent an hour - cleaning her bed, sheets, carpet, door (and everything else she touched) while DH showered her and she slept inour bed. She is still asleep thankfully and E and i are chillin in the lounge room as not to waker her. Poor thing.

It is cold as atm. and why does it always rain when i put washing out arhhhhhhhhhhhhh

In the 4 months of his life Jude has never slept through. I have been severely sleep deprived since I went into labour. He usually wakes twice a night but my husband usually gets up with him in the morning to let me sleep in a tiny bit because I have insomnia and don't go back to sleep between feeds easily.
