Goodluck Nikki!!!!! *hugs and Kisses from us all!*
Nikki - hope the us went well, and that you are feeling better about the whole thing?
Kerrie - I know what you mean about the noise, Will is so loud, i think he is trying to compete with Molly who is one of the loudest toddlers i have ever heard!! I sometimes need to go outside to escape the noise - i love 7pm when they both go to bed and it is soooooo quiet i can hear myself think again LOL!
Will has finally started rolling over and over, he was only going one way, still not sitting alone for too long though  He is saying 'dad dad' and 'bub bub' now, no 'mum' of course L. Molly had her chicken pox needle, which she didnt like but it didnt last long :) They actually both had a sleep this afternoon AT THE SAME TIME!!! I was so shocked i didnt know what to do with myself so i sat down and watched tv, and it lasted for a whole hour YAY!! Hope everyone has a nice night, DH and i have made a deal to turn the computer and tv off all night - omg what will we do?! LOL
waiting waiting waiting for Nikki! I soooo wanna hear!
Kell - a whole hour!! That's great! Emma says dada too. No mumum yet though :(
Cant wait to hear how it went Nikki...
Hi!
Linda - Louis is still eating his solids ok although he was a little fussy tonight but I think he's a bit overtired.
Kerry - Louis isn't that noisy either. Every now and then he pipes up but he doesn't talk a whole heap. No words for us either.....
Nikki - Log on and tell us how you went!!! I hope everything went well and they gave you your dates!!!!
Kell - Yeah on Will rolling over!! Sometimes I think it's a great idea to have the tv and computers off. Maybe you will be the next with a bfp - hehehehe!!!!! (Well, what else are you going to do...!!)
Wishing everyone good nights sleeps!

Nicole I am so pleased that all went well. It will be wonderful for Chantelle to have another sibling so close in age to grow up with. WHo knows you might have another girl to even up the household.
Kell Good to hear that Will is getting a hang of the rolling.
night all
Hi!
Wow Nikki! That's great! At least you will get through xmas and the new year before the new bubbas arrival.
I watched Louis' video from when he was a newborn tonight and I was all clucky. I can't even remember him being so small. You're going to love having a new little bubba in your arms!
I'll catch up with you tomorrow! I hope you have a good nights sleep!
I'm glad it went well Nikki. & still plenty of time to prepare.
Hi!
Grr at dh being in such a grumpy mood tonight...I know it's because he's tired but it doesn't make it any better. He's come home cranky and then gone to bed so early each night...I hope his early nights finally make him happier tomorrow....It's hard when I have crappy nights with Louis and then have to deal with his bad mood as well. Sorry - just had to vent.
Also sorry guys but I wanted dh to clean out our front garden tonight because it is overun with weeds and he said he'd do it on the weekend. He's a landscaper and we have the worse front yard in all of our units....So when your looking for our unit tomorrow just look for the jungle of weeds....hehe.
lol!!! KRISTIE,me and tracey are good at cleaning at get togethers, the first time i met tracey we had to mop up her whole house cos her washing machine flooded.dont stress,we arnt there to inspect your gardens,we are coming to meet you guys and your georgous babies.
see you at about 11am.
nikki
Kristie - I am so sorry but I wont be able to make it today. I dont have an ext strap for the car seat to fit into Nikkis car and I am not too confident on driving over the other side of the city. We will have to catch up some other time. I might invest in a strap for future.
Hope that you and Nikki have a lovely morning and the bubs have a good play together.
Hope everyone had a good night sleep. will catch up with you all some time today.
Hi!
Tracey - No worries!! We've decided to come over to Nikki's house next time so we can meet you and Jordan as well!
Yep we had a great morning. Nikki and Chantelle are both gorgeous - we had a good gasbag as I'm sure you can imagine!! (and a bit of a pigout - hehe) Chantelle was so good going to sleep in Louis' cot!
Cindy came also and Tori is so active! I can see she keeps her mum very busy. We all really look forward to catching up again soon over in your neck of the woods.
We need Jordan there as Louis wasn't quite sure what to do with 2 girls all over him!!! - hehehe
Needless to say that he has just gone down very easily for his nap!
On a side not - we cc Louis again last night. It actually took a little longer -about 30min - but he slept a lot better only waking at 3am (I fed him as I wasn't sure if he was hungry/thirsty from the crying earlier) and then back down for his 7am wake up. So I'm actually quite happy with that. Hopefully tonight it will get a little easier again!
Chat later,
Kristie, I am glad to hear the get together went well and that you had a good night last night! Louis looks like such a cutie!
on another note, DH and I had a serious discussion last night Re TTC. We decided to hold off (again we decided) as even with the familt cars we have now, three carseats/booster seats would be impossible to fit into it. We decided to wait till jess is 2 and a half or so just so that we can bundle them off to preschool two days a week or so to make the new bubba easier on me. Also we feel it's a little unfair on Kat that our undivided attention got taken from her so soon and we can't do that to Jess as well. As it is, we can dote on our two girls individually, add another and it's a little harder to give them equal attention. Just for a year or two anyway. I don't know if I am making any sense.... Anyway, in 2 yrs, we should be in a better position finaincially too so we now have a target and I feel a little better (instead of thinking we want one but prob will never have another one). I adore my girls (Poor bubba Jess has a tummy ache and is pooping soooo much and mostly water atm....I feel terrible for her, but there's not much I can do but make sure she has enough to drink. It's prob from her drinking Kat's cows milks or eating food kat has thrown down to her or something similar. Kat loves feeding Jess).
Anyway, better go back the car out so I can drive into DH's work and get the laon paperwork signed so we can buy this house we want!
Love to all!
Kristie - I am glad that you had a great morning/afternoon. I am spewing that I wasnt able to make it. We will definatly need to get Louis and Jordan together so that he isnt out numbered by the girls HAHAHAHAHAHA
Kerrie - I am glad that DH and yourself made the decision you are both happy with. 3 little bubs would be a handful but I am sure youwould be able to handle it.
Went to see my grandmother today in her new house. She moved into a retirement village. She took me into their hall and all the oldies came swarming around the pram..... It was really nice. They all thought Jordan was a cutie (ofcourse). they couldnt beleive he was only 7 months though. He is such a big boy.
It has turned out to be a good day weather wise. ALl the washing will be dry.
Hi!
Do you like my new picture - it's actually from a couple of months ago but I just resized it so I can add it!
Kerrie - Sounds like a great plan!! and one that you're both happy with so thats the main thing. How exciting on buying a house!! Poor Jess with an upset tummy - I hope she feels better soon.
Tracey - How nice of you to visit your grandma. The oldies would have loved having a gorgeous bubba around!!
I meant to ask you as a fellow bb (big brother) devotee what you thought of last weeks evictions. I was happy for Jade to go but I would have liked to see Dino stay in....how cute was Jamie getting all upset - hehehe.
I love it Kristie! He's such a cutie!!
Gotta run, will write later...
Hi Linda!
I've also updated a few pictures on the website if anyone wants a look...
where is the link for his www?
ha ha ha - I don't know......
Ok - if you left click on "krisvee" there is an option to go to our home page.....That should work. I'm used of it being down the bottom like the old forum - hehehe.
LOL - I should have known that shouldn't I....
He's cute! He'll be a real heartbreaker when he's older!
Emma's been having a big cry of an evening. She ussually goes to sleep feeding & it's easy, but the last 2 nights she has cried & we've had to rock her to sleep....so we'll see what tonight brings...
Kristie, Louis is a absolute spunk (which isn't surprising given how gorgeous his parents are!). He would definitely make a fab baby model!
Linda, Gussy's been fighting sleep a lot lately - at night and before his daytime naps. It seems like he thinks there's far to much to be explored/played with to waste time sleeping (or eating!). I was growing really sick of the huge battle each evening trying to get him to sleep so I've come up with a new routine. In the past couple of weeks I've taken to getting into the bath with him each evening and having it a little hotter than I normally would give him. We stay in there for about half an hour together and I lie flat with him floating/lying on top of me (his back on my tummy/chest with his head under my neck). While we're in the bath I crank up the heating in his room so it's roasty-toasty and then I dress and feed him in his room with only the night light on and gentle music playing. It's been working a treat. He's usually asleep within a minute or two of being put into the cot. On the odd night I haven't been able to follow this routine, he screams for an hour or two in protest. Just thought I'd mention it in case it works for you (or any of the other bubbas).
Tracey, Tis so cute to watch the reaction of the golden oldies to littlies isn't it. I absolutely love it! Your grandma must have been beaming with pride!
Kerrie, Sounds like you and your DH have your plans nicely sorted out. Must be difficult deciding timing of these things - especially now you know just how much work an extra bubba is. You seem to be coping so much better than I am sure I would with two so close together. Like you, we'd like three children - but right now I can't imagine how I would possibly cope. (Hopefully in a year or so Gussy's special needs will slow down and I'll not be so overwhelmed by it all!) Your plan to wait until Jess is a little older should make the added chaos of a new bubba a little less overwhelming I guess. Although I guess there's never really an absolute "best" time for babies is there? Good luck with the house and loan!
Nikki - Great to hear about your ultrasound. Was lovely to hear you got all emotional when you saw the little heart beat. Makes me feel clucky to! he ha! I can't believe how clever you and your friends were picking you were pregnant when it's really only been about four weeks since conception. It will be so nice for Chantelle to have a sibling really close in age - especially as the boys are a little older. Hope you are continuing to feel less in shock about it all. xx
Hi to everyone else. Hope you're having a nice week.
We were at the children's hospital today to get Gussy's new helmet. We picked the same animal cartoon print design for this one - as I think it's kind of cute (well as cute as these things can be). He has to start wearing it again from tomorrow morning. We are waiting for the glue to dry tonight so he's sleeping happily and helmetless as we speak. he ha!
Thanks for all the nice comments about Gussy. We think he's growing into a little darling. It's amazing how our love for him just grows and grows and grows as we get to see more and more of his personality. He is a real chatterbox and is never quiet while he's awake. He's now regularly saying "mumma", "dadda", "bubba" and "ta ta" (for goodbye). He's clapping his hands and waving goodbye. Tis very very cute! It's these little things that seem to make all the hard work of parenting worthwhile, isn't it!?!
Nikki - Congrats to you on another one on the way!
It's amazing how things happen while you're away from the computer for a couple of days. I'm back online since our move. I'll have to catch up on all the gossip...
Melissa
Thanks for the tip Kirsty - I may have to try it!
Melissa - good to hear from you. Hope the moving has been going well.
Hi!
Linda - I hope Emma is down and has a big sleep for you tonight.
We just had battle one with Louis! He goes down super easy and he woke up spot on 45min but at least tonight only took 5min instead of 30min last night! Woo hoo - I hope it's working. We'll see how he goes.
Kirsty - How clever you are to find a way to settle him some beautifully. It must be so nice and relaxing for him. What a smart little cookie saying his first words and waving!! It must be so gorgeous to hear....
Melissa - Hi! I was just mentioning to Cindy today that we hadn't heard from you in a while! I hope the move went well.
Kristie - I just checked out Louis webpage. He certainly is a little cutie. (all the october bubs appear to be good looking....not that I am biaised) Good to hear that Louis settled again quite quickly.
BB eviction - I wasnt too fussed with either of them going actually. I want John to go this week as he is a nobody. I like Danielle and want her to smooch some other guys before she leaves the house. Camilla can stay as she tells it like it is and creates interesting fights at times.
Kirsty - what a great little routine you have of a night time. We have taken to bathing of a night time aswell. We do boobs, solids, bath and then bed. This seems to fit in perfectly with both myself and DH getting home from work and preparing dinner. Jordan is in bed by the time we eat so we have the rest of the night to ourselves.
Gussy certainly is a smart little tacker to be waving and talking.
Melissa - welcome back, hope the move went smoothly.
Linda - hope that Emma sleeps well for you tonight.
Sorry to those I have forgotten.
Plenty of sleep vibes to all the bubs
hi all, kristie and cindy,i had an ace time with you both today, you guys are so down to earth and easy going, thanks for making me feel like an old friend,it was excellent to meet you both.
i am feeling a bit down again tonight and i am starting to think terrible things that i honestly couldnt discuss with any one else, except that you are all so understanding and non jujdmental,i hope i only feel like this cos i am tired and hormonal.....i just dont know if i really want this.....i hope im not upsetting anybody talking like this.....but i think it is important to express my feelings,it may help me see things a little clearer.
i might pop off to bed i think,im sure i will feel better in the morning
nikki
Oh Nikki - I'm so sorry your feeling down. I don't know what to say/write really. Only you know your deep feelings. Try and get a good sleep and perhaps you'll feel more positive in the morning. Remember you've had a huge day coming all the way out here and I'm sure you didn't stop once you got home with the boys and Chantelle. I suppose you just have to weigh it all up in your head.....we would never judge you for any feelings or doubts you may have.....
If you ever want a chat just call me ok?
Nikki - honey, you've had so much to take in over the past 24 hours it's no wonder you are confused. There's absolutely no way anyone could think badly of you for considering your options. We October mummies know just how hard it is just managing our October babies and some of us (like me!) only have the one and are still finding it challenging to say the least! You just have to try to slow down a little and really take time to think about it all and listen to your inner voice. If you still find yourself confused I'd suggest talking to whoever you trust with your deepest thoughts. I find that sometimes the process of articulating my thoughts to someone else helps me clarify my thoughts. Hope you get a restful sleep tonight.
BTW, Hi to Melissa. Hope the move went smoothly. x
Tracey, thanks for your lovely message in the guestbook on Gussy's website.
Nikki - It was fantastic to meet you today, definately felt like I have know you for a whileI have to say. I'm sorry you are feeling crappy tonight, as Kristie said, we won't judge you for anything you say or do, at the end of the day you are the one that knows how you trully feel about things and also you are the one that has to deal with it all too! If you need to talk please call and I am free to catch up whenever my dear!
Tracy - bugger we didnt get to meet you two today, next time we will come out your way!
Kristie - thanks for having us today! It was good fun, theres nothing like an afternoon of chatter! I hope louis wasnt to disturbed by Tori trying to eat him all day! Heres hoping he sleeps well for you too!
Tori has only just gone down now which is crap and i am exhausted from following her around all afternoon (she hasn't slept for the past 6 hours!) so I am off to bed.
Sorry to all I have missed, I will try to catch up better tomorrow
Hey everyone, I will be away on holidays until Sunday, so if you have anything that needs doing urgently email one of the other moderators listed in the first post, otherwise feel free to email it to me & I will update when I get back home.
If you have emailed me and I haven't gotten to it yet, I apologise as this week has been full of trips to doctors, hospitals and ultrasounds... I promise to get to everything by early next week. Thank you for your patience.
Good Morning!
Well we had a bit of bad night again. Louis kept waking every 2 hours but was very easy to settle. By 4.45am I'd had enough though so I just didn't get up. He grizzled for a few min and went back to sleep for 20min. Grizzled again and slept to 6.50am! Woohoo. So he went 6.30pm - 6.50am with no feeds! I think I'll have to try not to get up to him so quickly during the night perhaps. I was wondering do you think if I'm going to all this trouble I might try and get rid of his dummy for night time sleeps as I think that maybe why he keeps waking up for it?....Although sometimes he cries and it's still in his mouth - hehe.. Oh well, we'll keep plodding along. I popped out in front of the t.v this morning and went back to bed and fell asleep for 40min! hehe. I went out and he was in the same spot I left him playing...what a good boy.
Nikki - I hope you've woken up feeling a little better. I hope you got a good nights sleep at least anyway....
Cindy - Wow on Tori being up for 6 hours!!!! I hope she had a good nights sleep!
Wow i miss a day and there is so much to catch up on :)
Nikki pg is a hard thing to come to terms with in any situation, but in yours with three already, busy life, selling house etc it's no wonder you feel overwhelmed! (pg hormones are no doubt being very helpful too LOL). Dont feel like you shouldnt be feeling like this, it is all part of the journey - and use us as a sounding board all you want!!
Kirsty - That sounds like such a nice relaxing routine, makes me sleepy LOL. I did want 3 too, but after Will we are thinking maybe 2, but then maybe 3....very undecided atm did you guess? It is a beautiful time when the bubs are babbling, learning new things and are just delightful, somedays i just stop and smile :)
Kristie - Louis is a cutie! There are so many Louis' around atm, Molly has a new friend at preschool named Louis and my new nephew is named Louis!
Melissa - Hi!
Tracey - I actually like John, he seems a really genuine nice person, one of my picks for the winner :)
Cindy - Hope you had a restful night!
We had a bad day yesterday, Will had a cold and wouldnt sleep but was grizzly when up - i couldnt win so the night b4 last he slept in bed with me (DH on the couch L)! He had a good sleep last night and seems much better today. IL's are coming to stay this weekend *groan*, but then it occured to me that DH and I could actually go out to dinner and maybe even a film!!! YAY free babysitters LOL, if i can trust MIL with my children that is haha. She has actually been a lot better since the big fight we had.
Anyone elses bubs very ticklish, Molly wasnt but Will just has to be touched anywhere on his body and he has fits of giggles - it is just gorgeous! I will try and get a new pic posted today, camera still not working but i have the digital video camera that can take stills so i will try that, he looks so different from the current ticker photo :)
SNAP Kristie! Sorry to hear you had a bad night, maybe it is worth getting rid of the dummy since that seems to be why he is waking.....
Kristie, I would recommend getting rid of the dummy sooner rather than later as within a few nights he will have forgotten he ever had one. If you wait too much longer he will always remember and it will be harder to do IYKWIM??
Jess hasn't had a dummy since 3m.o (maybe even earlier) and now sucks two fingers to pacify herself to sleep etc. Much easier and no need for me to get up at night! She puts them back in herself if they fall out and she wants them!
Goodluck!!!
Nikki, of course we would never judge you! We are here for you to vent to and talk to and support you!
To everyone else I have missed, sorry.....been at playgroup today *sigh* just got home, put kids to bed and had lunch. Hope you are all well and bubs aren't being too mischivious (sp?!). Hugs to all the bubbas
Nikki - whats happening? How are you feeling today my dear?
Kristie - I think I worked out why Tori kept tryingto eat poor louis alive..... She woke with another tooth this morning! Thats 2 so far! And I have to ad she has eaten so much solids today its amazing, she could almost take louis on! I'm thinking back and I think she first went off them just before the other tooth came through, it must just be a teething thing.
kell - how exctitingthe idea of going to a movie is! Its all that stuff that you take for granted before they are born isnt it??!!
I swear she hears me get on the bloody computer, she has just woken again.
Talk soon
im okay.just plodding along, trying to keep busy.not much to report here.i had a fantastic day with chantelle, she just gave me so much joy with her laughs and giggles etc.chat later
nikki
I'm so glad you've had a good day Nikki, that's great.
Emma slept much better last night. Up at 3am for a feed & that was it :D Mind you she has been really high maintenance today though, just won't play on her own
Hi!
What a day! I had to fill in teaching so Louis and I have been out all afternoon. Poor little man only had 30min sleep all afternoon and he did so well. He's asleep for the night now so we'll see how we go....
Kell - thats funny that you know heaps of kids named Louis. We don't know any around us...we thought it would be something different but not too different iykwim??
Glad that Will seems to be feeling better after a bad time. Yeah, it would be great if you could go out for a night. Just go after the kids are in bed and then you don't have to worry about your MIL doing anything wrong - hehe.
I'm a bit scared to get rid of the dummy as he usually settles so quickly with it. I'll see how we go tonight and see if I can settle him without it through the night perhaps...
Louis is quite ticklish...so funny. I love it because he anticipated me know and I can just wiggle my fingers near his belly and he giggles. So funny.
Kerrie - Your so good to get your kids into good habits from early on!! Do you find Jess gets a lot out of playgroup?? I would like to get Louis it playgroup but was told by the mchn to not worry until he's over 12 months. He loves getting together with other kids though like at mothers group and doesn't really see other little kids other than those times....
Cindy - Wow on another tooth! How funny is that - she saw him as a big teething rusk! hehehe. I wonder when Louis will get his teeth?? Normal is anytime up to 12 months I think so I suppose it could be a while away.
Linda - what a great sleep! Lets hope she stays like this!
Nikki - I'm so glad you had a good day with Chantelle! I hope you're feeling better and have been able to have a good think about things. I can imagine your going to be feeling so tired being in 1st tri and having to deal with a little bubba and 3 boys ( I include dh's in the child category - hehehe) Just try and take some time out when you can....
