Morning! Hope everyone had a nice weekend? Our town ahs an annual street fair and that was on yesterday, Molly had a ball! Then we went to the pool to cool down.
Kristie - Will didn't like it at first, I was surprised because he loves his bath but once he got used to the cold water he loved it he would crawl around the baby pool splashing and laughing :) YAY on finishing teaching, what will you do with yourself now LOL
Tracey - YAY on Jordan pulling himself up, he might skip crawling altogether. I am hoping Will is walking by xmas too - how exciting!

We had a great weekend away up at Bonnie Doon. Yesterday I even got to sit out in the sun reading for over an hour!! So nice! Louis was really grumpy though because his routine was all out of wack - he was going to bed at around 9pm and having 2 days sleeps but just really cranky. Hopefully I can stretch him back out to one nap today and a big night sleep! It just seems to suit him a lot better! The IL's got a couple of their calfs butchered up so dh is so excited to bring home like 11 steaks! Gross! hehe. He loves it though and it means I don't have to buy it! hehe. They had meat eveywhere and had to buy a big freezer to store it in. Still, I think it's better to know where it's come from - it's basically organic meat....They're going to get a lamb done too from the next door neighbour. Hmmm it seems odd for a vegetarian to be talking about all this meat doesn't it.....hehehehe.
Tracey - Sorry to hear Jordan was grumpy. I definitely no the feeling with Louis at the moment as he gets so cross and tries to hit me (or the floor!) and is throwing tantrums all the time now....Hopefully it's just a stage! Hope he was alright for dinner!

I think I'll really relax after that....oh and when the girl pays me! hehehe. Tomorrows the first day I won't have had to teach though although I still have to head out and check on another class thats having its final lesson. It will all happen soon though...

i will be there for the 12th kristie,i had an idea,how about the 4 of us do a kris kringle for the bubbies.we could spend $15.00 on them and that way we all only have to buy for 1 of them and they all get something special.we can just put them under your tree and they can grab which ever one they want,what do you guys think?
chantelle had a crap night last night and was up early today.for the whole of last week she had been sleeping till atleast 7am and having only 1 sleep through the day for about 3-4 hours.she has gone to bed now and we have swimming at 11 so i think she will end up having another sleep this afternoon.i was game and bought myself a bikini on the weekend.so i am going to try them out today at the pool,feel a bit funny showing off my tummy but i actually look prretty good for a prg woman so i may aswell show it off in all its glory!!!!!hehehe,bet i will get a few stares.had a quiet weekend,dh had to work yesterday,didnt end up going to the P party on sat night.i cracked the ****s with dh and then i became very stubborn and went to bed.im a bit toey at the moment,getting very cranky and emotional.

I'm sure Chantelle will need an extra sleep after swimming! Louis wouldn't go to sleep yesterday so I took him in the baby pool and he fell asleep immediately afterwards. He even let me cuddle him wrapped up in the towel like a little baby again! hehehe.
Good on you for getting a bikini! I bet you look great! I would except for my stretch marks....grrr and theres a bit too much of a layer of fat still - maybe in another couple of months when there's no wobbles - hehehe.
Sorry to hear you had a crappy Sat night. I've been extremely emotional this p/g - much more than when p/g with Louis. I can cry at the drop of a hat. Dh stirred me Fri afternoon and I started crying - hehehe. So not like me but oh well.....
Nikki the KK idea is great. I was looking for something for all the kids for xmas the other day. good on you for wearing a bikini, I am not that brave yet, I have awful stomach at the moment. I am so going to have to do something about it.
Krisite Its nice when you can share a cuddle with them. They are so independant now its hard to get one in as they always want to be on the move.
Cindy hope Tori settled ok foyou theother night. I have been really slack with cutting the feeds. I havent done it properly so still on 2 a day. I think I i will start Dec, and stick to it with AM feed and then cut the PM one out in January.
Kell its looks as thought WIll and jordan are at similar stages. What a clever man standing up. Hope Molly is well.
Well today I am off to DFO to look for xmas party dress with my SIL. DH has taken day off work to go to dentist, he stole my app as he chipped a tooth and is in pain. I have had to rebook.
Jordan is doing really well with pulling himself up onto this knees he can do that on his own. He needs a little help getting onto his feet but then he stands holding onto things. He is so clever and is growing so fast.
I bought some new tshirts the other day and I really felt great wearing them. its nice to have something nice to wear. At the moment I am feeling a little frumpy and dont seem to fidn time to exercise. Hopefully I can get motivated soon.

Tracey - Jordan sounds like he's doing great! I know what you mean about having nice clothes to wear. It can make all the difference to how you feel. Have fun shopping today! God knows what I'm going to look like after another baby - hehe. I've decided not to really worry until I'm all finished with having kids, although my gym membership starts again in june 07! Will be interesting to see how much I use it with two bubbas to look after!
Louis was up at 6.30am this morning! Grrr! But he's been pretty good and is now having a sleep. I'm thinking maybe he's going through a little growth spurt as he's hungry all the time as well as grizzly...Hopefully it passes soon.

Caught up with Cindy yesterday - Tori's looking so big! Louis is throwing everything so everyone ended up with a ball to the head! Cheeky bugger. He's definitely a lot rougher than the girls!
speaking of rougher,chantelle has decided she loves seeing the reaction of someone in pain,she has taken to biting us,hiting,pinching and throwing toys and other objects at us.bloody little terd!when we tell her off she cracks up laughing,she thinks it is hilarious,but i dont and am trying to thibnk opf how i am going to stop this behaivior before the new bub comes,i can just see a toy to the head happening.gggrrrrr!!!!

Louis laughs when I tell him off as well Nikki. Drives me nuts. Then dh will say no and he'll stop and sometimes even start crying. He just doesn't care what his Mummy says. It's so hard to discipline at this age...I suppose it's just persistance - maybe one day it will sink in!
hehe Nikki - Will laughs whenever someone says 'ow' too so he loves to pinch and pull hair , and Molly of course gets back at him by hitting him which results in two screaming kids lol....
I must have an emotional baby. You tell Jess no and she sulks and drops to the ground. She either puts her head on the floor trying to hide, or she'll lose it totally and cry the house down. But then, atm she's sookie about everything.

OK girls - I am venturing back in here after being away for too long! I feel so out of touch!!! Wowee on the pregnancies!!! I can't believe how close you are getting Nikki! I think there are more of our group pg than not? On that note, I still don't have AF, so still not really worrying too much about it just yet...
Cindy - that is just adorable saying 'good girl' as she does something naughty!!!! Emma just says 'no' as she does it!!
Emma is really confident with her walking now, it's great! Now I can put her in all the pretty dresses that I couldn't before! She climbs everything, it seems to be her favourite thing to do.
Sleep is...uummmm....could be better. She starts the night in her cot & by about 3am when she wakes I take her & we go & sleep in the spare room together. :o A bit naughty, but I get more sleep & I'm happy with it ATM. It's only while we both have a bit of a cold (oh who am I kidding, we are over the cold now LOL...)
ETA: Kristie - ooohhh - how exciting! Have a great time at the scan! Are you finding out the sex of bub? I'm sure you have posted about it but I'm too behind.....I can't wait to hear all about it!!!

As for AF, it's not actually late, just still haven't had one AT ALL since I had Em :eek: I do a test every month or so, but nothing. So it's not that I think I'm pg, I don't think there is anything happening at all.

as for leaving them in the same room (eg to go to loo), my advice is put the bub in a bouncer in the middle of the playpen. I used the capsule, but same thing. Also, from day one, if Chantelle is going to touch the bubs, simple things like repeating gentle and guiding her hand. I found Kat very good like that. At feed times, I'd put on one of Kat's fave DVD's to distract her a bit and she'd sit the opposite side to that I was feeding on. It worked well. She will get jelous, she will want to be as close to you as the new bub, hence the reason I sat her on the other side of me so she could snuggle into me still....
I hope someone from ur fam can help a little for the first few weeks untill you get a routine going. I found once I had a routine, things went smoother and once in a while I'd get the kids down together and be able to nap too.....

We're very excited and all is looking well. I have to go back for another scan at 32 weeks though as my placenta is quite low down so they want to make sure it comes away from the cervix. Hopefully it will or I'll have to have a c-s!
So his name is Dylan Andrew and I'm so excited Louis will have a little playmate - I hope they'll be great friends. DH is already talking about 2 motorbikes now! hehe.
I can't wait to sort our Louis' old clothes and start getting things organised. I think it will be easier for them to share a room as well both being boys.
Of course I would have been excited if it was a girl as well! I really wasn't going to mind either way as long as they're healthy.
I was telling my mum that I'm sure I'll have another one yet as I've always wanted more and she says - Of course you will now. I'm like what??? and she goes you'll have to try for your little girl. I had to explain that if I want more kids it's not because I want another gender it's because I want a bigger family. I wouldn't care if I had 6 boys! She's so silly sometimes....anyway...sorry just had to get that off my chest! hehe.

Well today was good. Picked up Jordan from mums and he was so tired, he didnt sleep well for her today. Gave him roast lamb and vegies for tea which he LOVED. I am so pleased he eats his vegies. I was playing with him and he was laughing and then next thing I knew he swang backwards and donked his head on the tiled floor :doh: It was the loudest bang, even Jamie heard it from the study and came rushing out. I felt so awful. He got over it quickly enough though.
He has been going to bed a little later now, about 8pm. He doesnt seem to be tired at 7.30 like he used to. He still talks and plays in bed at 8pm when I put him in but I think thats late enough.
Well swimming tomorrow and that should be good as its going to be 32 degrees.

Tracey - Poor Jordan banging his head!! They're such tough little cookies though aren't they? Louis hurts himself almost everyday now from running around but always seems to get over it quickly.
We've got swimming tomorrow and then the dance break up party for the kids. I might have to buy some icypoles for them if it's going to be hot! They'll love that.
Better go and make dh his lunch....why did I make such a silly promise?? hehehe.

Well Jordan slept in till 8am this morning, I was so rapted. He didnt have a sleep before swiming so had lunch when we got home and went to bed about 1.00 ish he has been asleep since then and still is. What a good boy.
Nothing much to report here we are getting our 7th tooth it has finally broken thru the gum.
Really gotta get some xmas shopping done as I havent started, maybe next week :)

Yeah party went well - some of them made me cry! One mum (whose 3 daughters I taught!) gave me this Angel of the Heart figurine and wrote this beautiful letter saying how I was their Angel of the Heart and that I would be in there thoughts. Sooo nice. And Kayla the girl that helps me took a picture of the two of us and snuck off only to give it to me at the end in a beautiful photo frame! So between the two of them and the kids giving me hugs the tears welled up and I got all emotional! I will certainly miss some of the great friends I made - I promised I'd visit in the new year though and when little Dylan arrives. I was also spoilt with some gifts and choccies so it was all really nice. I've got another one tomorrow but I haven't really taught those kids so won't be so emotional for me.
It must have been a day for it Tracey because Louis slept in until 7.50am! Normally this would be great but we've got to be out of the house by 8.30am for swimming! So we had a big rush of a morning but swimming was good. Louis was in a lazy mood and wouldn't kick his legs but then they got a ride in the blow up boats! Louis sat there looking so proud of himself it was so cute! Then he threw a major tantrum when he had to hop out! Then he wanted to kick because he wanted to get back to it! so funny. Little terror.

The shops are starting to get busier now! I've still got to pick up a few bits and pieces hopefully next week and then I'll be done as well.

Woohoo - Works officially over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got home last night and chilled out - the house looks like a bombs hit but oh well. I went to go food shopping this morning and didn't get anywhere - bought Louis more xmas presents instead - Oops! I bought him some textas and crayons and a blow up boat for the beach (or pools) and a little spot book. Just little things for a stocking.
I ended up going to the park yesterday for a walk which was nice. Louis has decided he can go down the kiddie slide on his own! I coudn't believe it! I just wait down the bottom and he pushes himself off and everything! So cute!
Nikki - Hope your xmas shopping went well! The shops are starting to get sooo busy now! It's such an exciting time. It must be so much fun when the kids understand the whole santa thing and are looking forward to christmas day!
Mums coming around to babysit in a few hours and I'll be off to the Belly Belly dinner. Looking forward to catching up with Nikki and Cindy and meeting some of the other people from the forum! (and pigging out on beautiful italian food on Lygon St!!!)

we have been painting all day got the lgr, entrance, kitchen and frm done. I hate painting but it dpoes look nice. jordan has been really good he spent afternoon in his room with the tele on, i wheeled ours in there. he has trashed his room though its so messy oh well

Wow Tracey - you guys don't muck around do you? hehe. It took dh like 2 months to get Louis' room painted! hehe.
I had a bbq today at a friends house at Mordialloc. Louis was sooo good. He was up all day until he finally fell asleep in the pram at about 5.30pm! Poor munchkin. He slept all the way home in the car and was so tired when he woke up. I've quickly fed him, bathed him and he's back to sleep again.
We went to the beach and he had a little paddle in! So cute.
Poor little munchkin's got one spot on his bum now that is weeping. The rest of his nappy rash has pretty much cleared up except for the one spot that looks like it's just getting worse. It looks sooo sore. It's going to be nice tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to let him run around with his nappy off. I took his nappy off at the beach and dunked his bum in the water thinking that maybe the salt water would be good for it.....hehe.
I'm so buggered. It's been a pretty big weekend for me considering I'm normally a hermit! hehehe.
Think I'll just chill out now. Dh is home tomorrow. I've missed him heaps but luckily I have been busy so haven't notice to much iykwim? Louis keeps asking for Dada.......

:D We put the tree up on the weekend, and Benjamin is forever pulling off the baubles from the bottom of the tree. I put the tree on a chest of drawers this year so he doesn't get a burn from the pretty lights. He's at the stage where he doesn't take NO or STOP for an answer, and keeps doing things he is not supposed to do.
