Kirsty, yes good luck for the job. I keep forgetting to write that!! I have a friend in that field. She finds it rewarding too but it must be hard work.
Emma, I just found your thread for increasing supply. A friend of mine with big bbs is still bfing her 3yo. She found that the only way she could get him to attach was to lie him on a bfing pillow. Perhaps you could try that. GL.
Tom is still in pain and only settling for short periods. I'm typing one handed.

Hi all :)
Well Antoni went back to the paeditrican yesterday for his follow up after being sick when he was born and he is asolutely perfect biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Infection is gone and he is growing well now. He is exactly 1kg over his birth weight now so starting to put on weight nicely.
He is having moment after a feed when he goes like he is chocking and then projectile vomits, which led me to think he had a bit of reflux which he does but the paed reckons there really isnt anything i can do at this stage its just something that his stomach will hopefully mature and handle better. The chocking sounds he said would be him trying ot keep the milk down rather than bring it up.
In the pead's words he couldnt be doing any better if he tried :D
Sorry no personals for tonight, hard to find the time to have enough time to read everything lately.
-
Karlee - That is great that Antoni has put on 1kg for you !!
Marion - Ashton seems to be calming down a tad in the poo department as well. I actually changed the first nappy ever that didn't have poo in it yesterday LMAO.
Belinda - How did you go with your night out ?? We went 10 pin bowling last night and mum baby sat the two oldest while we took Ashton. He was pretty good through all the noise and loud music. It also sounds like Coopers windy episode is what Ashton went through for two days, where it seemed like he was hungry all the time but he actually wasn't. Ashton had a good day yesterday after finally burping, so a friend is giving me her infacol wind drops tonight when I see her as she no longer needs it.
Melanie - Congratulations on becoming an aunty. It is such an exciting time when it happens on your side of the family.
Emma - Glad to hear that Gaby isn't sick. it is nerve wrecking isn't it when you think that they might be sick. I can assure you that it never gets any better LOL. I always still freak out when I think my kids are coming down with something.
Well as reported earlier, Ashton was more settled yesterday which was fantastic. He basically slept all day. We took him 10pin bowling last night and he stayed awake all during that, as it was very loud etc. He also leaked through his nappy with pee and of course I never packed him a spare change of clothes argh !! He got hungry while we there and I was trying to hold of feeding him cause the place seemed to be packed with teenage boys LOL. So I found an empty lounge in the cafeteria section and gave Ashton a quick feed there just enough to keep him going till we got home. got him home and fully changed him and then fed him and he ended up sleeping for 4.5hrs which was good.
We have to do it all again tonight too, as we are going to our BB Christmas dinner tonight. Must remember to pack a spare set of clothes just in case LMAO. Poor kid.

I wish I could have gone back to bed when Ashton woke at 5am. He is still currently asleep now and it is nearly 9. Unfortunately for me though Ashton screamed the house down changing his nappy which woke Kam and Lach up so I have had to get up with them cause Andrew is at work !

-
Argh I know the feeling Kat. It seems that when one of my girls wakes so does the other. Makes life a bit more interesting LOL!
Oh no Em at the condom breaking! I'd be freaking out as we are waiting about 1-2 years before ttc again! God I so don't want to be pregnant again in a hurry...so over it!
We had a good night here..........bottles at 11pm, 2.45am and then again at 6.45am. I had some scotch last night and was very merry and mellow!!LMAO! Am now waiting patiently for chrisco to arrive. Knowing my luck it will show when both girls wake from their naps and Corey's at work this morning. Does anyone else dream of sleeping in or when bub cries just rolling over and going to sleep!?!?!PMSL
-
I dream of sleeping in all the time LMAO. Actually I do have to say sunday's is usually my day. I for some reason don't seem to hear ashton crying so Andrew goes to him cause he is usually awake already anyway brings him in to me to feed and then I put Ashton back to bed and go back to bed myself for a couple of hours, leaving andrew to deal with the kids. So I live for Sundays LMAO.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to everyone that gave me some advice on constipation. I bought some Oat bran for my cereal and I think it is starting to work.
Had a good night with katelyn went to sleep at 9.00pm last night and woke at 2.00am then went back to sleep at 2.30am and woke at 6.00am. Hopefully she keeps up that routine. i have carved in to the no dummy situation too. Only give it to her when she is unsettled then she spits it out in her sleep
-
Kathryn, lucky for you that tomorrow is Sunday then, lol!
We're getting more sleep now. Charlie sleeps for 4 hours at night. But i have had to stop BF, boo hoo. He still seems to be refluxy and it's getting a bit worse but i think it's only mild.
So feeling much better now that i can get some sleep.
We also had to give him the dummy, but he only takes it a couple of times a day and only when he's really cranky.
-
Kathryn ~ Glad to hear Ashton is a bit more settled for you. Glad bowling went well, we did that with my first when he was a few weeks old and slept the whole time, was suprising with the amount of noise there.
Emma ~ opps at the condom breaking, thats my biggest fear at the moment too.
I am doing the dummy thing too, i am trying for only when he is a bit unsettled and definately trying not to use it over nights which he wont take it so thats good. Dont want to be in months time getting up at night when he spits it out and cnat find it lol. He will generally just use it for a few minutes and once he is asleep or content will spit it out so not totally relying on it which is what i wanted.
Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

Hiya girls
Had a good night last night. Ashton fed at 4.30pm then we went to our BB xmas dinner so he was due at 8.30pm he was awake so I picked him up but he wasn't looking for milk, so I just held him and he fell asleep in my arms till just before 10pm when we left to come home anyway. So he went 6hrs without a feed. I feed him at 10.30pm when we got home, put him to bed and he never woke up again till 4.30am !! So that was another 6 hour stint without wanting anything.
andrew said to me this morning "you must be feeling great only having to get up once" I said "I probably would be if I didnt' take panadine forte at 4.30am to kill off a headache, so still have the tired effects from that" LOL.
Of to go and finish the christmas shopping in a minute. Tree is up but nothing on it decoration wise as yet LOL.

Woo hoo, Charlie slept through the night last night! From 10:30pm to 6am. We were staying at a friends place though, so i wonder if it just wasnt the different enviroment.
-
We were up every 3.5hours again last night. Shes cottoned on to the whole 'if I cry they'll pick me up' thing which is a PITA. As soon as I put her down now she is asleep bu realises I'm not holding her so cries or if she hears us she cries cause she wants to be held, not easy when Gem is crying to cause shes teething at the moment. I've had both of them in tears just wanting me for the last couple of days. I swear last night I was on the verge of a mental breakdown!LOL! Gem didn't go to bed till 9.30 and Jazz was up and unsettled till about then to. ITs like there mimicking each other.
I had a lovely sleep in this morning though. I was up with Jazz at 6.30 then we both fell asleep in our bed till 10.15 well thats when I got up Jazz slept till 11am!Thats the longest shes gone without a bottle. Think I might put a piece of my clothing in with her so she can smell me and think I'm there with her.
-
Hey again
First chance i have had to get back again, been busy here with Cooper, who is asleep atm
Night out went good, was fun, although drinking bourbon then swapping to vodka and redbull isnt a good idea!! Woke up with a bit of headache but that went away but my stomach still isnt right, think i over did it a bit, ah well :)
Christy: Had to laugh when you said at bowling you didnt take a spare outfit, i am the same, i take as little as possible and hope for the best :)
I still havent read everything sorry, i am hopeless lately :)
Anyhow will be back soon
-
Wow, congrats to those of you who are now getting more sleep. Tegan, that's awesome news that Charlie did so well.
Tom was much better yesterday until I had to start preparing for friends coming over for dinner. Then he started screaming and this lasted all the way through dinner. As soon as the friends left he fell asleep for 4 hours! Then we had quite a good night but he's a bit unsettled again today.
It's our first outing tonight. A friend is sitting with Tom and Jack will come out with us. Dad is taking us out to dinner. Jack would never take a bottle but Tom has had EBM a couple of times (just to try the bottle out) so he should be ok. I hope so anyway!!
-
Thanks Emma! I'm glad your night was good Belinda. Hope you are feeling better!! LOL at the hangovers - I'm bfing so not drinking but had a good night anyway. Both boys were very well behaved! Actually I was still bfing Jack when pg with Tom so it's been a long time since I had a real drink. I can't wait!! LOL!!
-
Well i say that drink will be very well deserved when you finally get it Melanie :)
Have Cooper asleep on me atm, at least now he is spitting bottle back out now when he doesnt want it, so not overfeeding himself then being sick later
Have so much to do here tommorow, well just general house stuff but guess i cant avoid it much longer, will see how the kids are first, have Luke home probably all week with the chicken pox thing, he has been fine with it though and as they come out they are drying up really quickly so not looking too bad for him
-
Can so understand the wearing one baby and entertaining the other one, hope that she sleeps more for you soon though overnight, we are luckier there
Indian meal sounds good :)
And have a great week, sounds busy, jelous that you are leaving the house that many times, i am still thinking about it lol :) Well kind of housebound with Luke and his spots everywhere anyhow
Well i have been in here reading stuff for hours in other threads, started and got me engrossed lol
-
Good morning girls
We had another great night last night. Ashton woke at 12.30am and then slept thru to 6am this morning YAY
*Tegan* - that is great that charlie slept through. Kameron did his first full night of sleeping through at 6wks, but didn't do it regularly till he was 14wks.
~Emma~ 3 weeks of feeding is a fantastic effort, it definitely isnt an easy task specially when expressing fully. At least going onto formula you are already used to sterilising bottles etc.
I can't say I miss drinking. I used to be able to match just about any guy when it came to drinking without any major ill effects the next day, but since falling pregnant with Kameron I haven't had a good drinking session since and I am definitely not game to now after 5 years LMAO. I was planning a big one on my 30th back in feb, but half way thru the night I got sick with tonsillitis so felt like crap anyway and was telling ppl to go home at midnight. Then 5 days later i fell preg with Ashton LOL.
Kate - Sounds like you have a busy week ahead. I have stuff on 2 or 3 times a week now myself up to xmas. This week is a party plan thing happening at playgroup that I organised and then Ashton and I have our 6wk checkup on Friday.
Belinda - I have to sort out my house today or tomorrow as well. I think it will be more tomorrow for me though as it is going to be 34c here today.

Good Morning Girls!
Tegan - Congratulations on charlie sleeping through I bet you feel alot better in yourself.
Kirsty77 - I hope you are feeling better and little Jazz stops crying for you.
Emma - You have been busy, 3 weeks of breastfeeding is better then none you did well.
Belinda - How did you handle a hangover with a little one I do not think I could handle the headache and lack of sleep. Its been a while since I have had a hangover.
MelanieR - How was your night out.
Kate - Yum - Indian dinner sounds nice. You have a busy few days ahead of you.
Well we have been having good sleeps here too. Katelyn seems to be getting into a rountine at night now. She goes to bed around 9 - 9.30pm wakes around 2 - 2.30am feeds for 1/2 then goes back to sleep and sleeps another 4 -5 hours. She is finally better which I think is helping her sleep.
Going to sydney this weekend to see all our family looking forward to getting away and my DS being able to play with his cousins. He has been a bit naughty since I came home from hospital won't do what he is told I think he might be a bit jealous of katelyn but I try and spend as much time with him as I can.
Any suggestions???
-
Not real suggestions here Ally as lachlan is a bit of a terror as well specially when I am feeding and he knows I can't get up. Have a great time away !!
Love
-
Emma: Glad you had a good night and hopefully she drops off to sleep for you
Kathryn: Blah to 34, dont know what it is here today, i never think to look at the temps, felt warm earlier but there is a breeze atm, and sounds like you never got a chance to have that drink so far :)
Ally: No help here either, Mason is a terror too and like Kathryn said especially at feeding time, he get the vertical blinds and rips them all over the place so i have to get up to deal with him!
And i handled the hangover cause i have a good DH who let me sleep in, although he got sick of waiting for me to get up so started nagging me in the end, so was glad it wasnt a bad hangover at that stage
Kate: Sorry to hear you had a bad night, hope you both can catch up on sleep at some point today, and at least you are getting out i think thats good :)
DH must not of been impressed overnight as he left a note that he fed Cooper at 1.30 and he didnt sleep again till 3am, so he would be stuffed at work today, but i go to bed too late to do overnight as well, i am not a nice person without sleep so best i get sleep and then the kids day isnt crap putting up with me, DH goes to bed really early every night so he catches up anyhow
Cooper is going well on the infants friend, really made a big difference to his wind pain, thankfully
Ally: Also with what Emma said about special time with DS away from baby is a good idea if you can do it, when i go to shops or something i take Mason with me so we get some time alone, he seems better for it the day we do it, well sort of lol, doesnt take long to slide back again though
-
Hey girls
We were up 3 hourly again last night. Both girls are asleep now thankfully as I'm knackered. Jazz was really unsettled after her 5 am feed for some reason, she was awake and whingy till 8am and is out like a light now!LMAO
Can you believe how close xmas is!?!?! I have to get my butt into gear and by the Secret Santa gift and send it! I keep forgetting!
-
Belinda - I will be getting that drink soon enough LMAO. Have a BBQ to go to on Dec 9th at friends, so the kids will be put to sleep there, then I will have a couple.
Emma - Not sure if he is into a routine yet or not, but hopefully he is :D Will see what happens tonight with his sleep. He seems to sleep more when it is warmer as well.
Kirsty - :( @ the 3hrly feeding still. I know what you mean about xmas. Done and posted my Secret Santa stuff though so at least that is out of the way LOL
I couldnt' be stuffed with Playgroup today as I had a very busy weekend and still tired from that, so came home again.

Christmas is getting close. Which means Lily's 2nd birthday is even closer. It's only 3 weeks away and i haven't planned anything yet!
-
Ah wish xmas would go away this year, so not interested in it at all, should be because Mason will be so aware of it this year, but not so far
Took him to see santa yesterday for a first attempt, he wanted nothing to do with him at all and gripped onto me, so will try over next couple of weeks of showing him to him each time i am at the shops so he might get used to the idea of him, think with Luke going with him to see him might help too
Have spent so much money already on kids and i am still not done, well Mason is done, Cooper has one thing and Luke is nearly done, so not so bad, costing me over a thousand dollars for Lukes presents though! Then his birthday is 8 days after christmas, but he knows he is getting a bike for then, and it wont be a dear one after what i spent on christmas!
-
Belinda - Kameron has no interest in Santa at all. Has refused to see him for the last 3 years, and because Kameron didn't want to do it last year neither did Lachlan. So I am hoping Ashton who doesn't know any different and can't say no may encourage them LOL

Luke has always loved Santa, didnt take him long to realise that he gives gifts and its in his best interests to love him lol, although he is starting not to believe already now, due to me leaving gifts around for Mason unwrapped lol, i am hopeless!
Mason was great last year and didnt care and sat on his lap, this year i dont think that is going to happen
Got Mason and Cooper tshirts and santa hat sets from kmart i think it was, or Big w, so cute, but masons head was too big for hat so bought him antlers instead, at least they fit lol, i think the hats are just made too small though as his head doesnt seem that big
You just need to get a pic of santa and photoshop your kids onto his lap lol
Cooper will not sleep in his bed, he is carrying on again, so back to my lap it seems again, then he will sleep soundly
-
LOL at the photoshop thing Belinda. My IL's did that to Kamerons first santa picture, scanned it and then phhotoshopped their other grandkids onto Kamerons picture and reprinted it. I was a bit pi$$ed actually cause I paid good money for that photo.
Love
-
WOw at them actually doing that, i was kidding :)
Its amasing what they can do these days though, my sister got photoshoped into a wedding pic of mine, didnt really like her so wished she wasnt in it lol, ah well
-
Pity you can't photoshop ppl out. Well you can but it takes a bit longer LMAO.
Love
-
hahah worth it for some ppl i would say :)
I cut Masons hair while he was doing ABC's on computer and it looks crap, poor kid
But he doesnt stay still for me to cut straight, no way i am taking him to a hairdressers until he is older so he will have to put up with my crap cuts till then
Emma: Sounds fine to me, some babies are happy to do that, she will make up for it i am sure :)
-
Wow, how chatty is everyone today!! LOL!!
Ally, we had a really nice night out. Jack dribbled water on his top and after 3 cups of water his nappy was so full his pants got wet too LOL. I had left 2 changes of clothes for Tom with the sitter but didn't have spares for Jack so he went home in a nappy and socks LOL! Tom was really good for the sitter. He guzzled 130mls of EBM from a bottle. Jack never took a bottle so it's a relief that Tom does. Glad the sleeping is going well for you. Like the other girls I find that Jack uses Tom's feeding times to be naughty. I think you are doing all you can really, just spend as much 1 on 1 time as you can when bub is asleep. I also keep Jack occupied with activities - he loves to draw while I'm feeding and that seems to keep him out of mischief.
Emma, Yes, I'll be a really cheap drunk when the time finally comes LOL!! Gaby's doing so well with the sleeping. I wouldn't worry about her sleeping a lot some days, it seems to happen. I agree that 3 weeks is a really great effort for bfing, especially when having to express. Well done!
Kathryn, hope you get some rest today. I'm waiting to see how Jack goes with Santa this year. He was scared of a guy in a koala suit so Im not hopeful it will go well. I can't believe the cheek of your ILs.
Kate, you poor thing. Just when Rylee was starting to do a bit better. You must be so exhausted. You are doing so well to keep up with activites. I really hope it improves soon for you. Are there any more remedies you can try? How did the Indian go?
Belinda, sounds like your kids will have a great Christmas. I'd better start shopping!! LOL at Mason's hair, I'm sure it's fine!
Gosh, did I get everyone? Sorry to anyone I missed. THere are so many new posts!!
Having a good day today, both boys are asleep atm. Had a busy night though, Tom slept for 3.5 hours then woke every 1 to 1.5 hours for a feed! Luckily the Indian for dinner last night didn't seem to upset his belly. Jack's nappies have been a bit messy though LOL!! He loves spicy food!
-
Glad your night went well Melanie and that Tom took the bottle fine for sitter, LOL at no clothes for Jack, ah well i am sure he was fine :)
My kids will have a good christmas, i am a bit carried away, try so hard to cut back each year so i can get less but end up thinking its not enough so get more! But i dont buy a lot of things during year and we dont really go out much so its like the one big spend a year i guess
-
Belinda I get a bit carried away too. there was so much more I could have got yesterday for the older kids. Oooh just remembered I was going to buy them a pair of new sunglasses each to put in their santa sacks. Oh well next week LOL.
Ashton has been asleep since 10am this morning, is just starting to stir now, so that is nearly another 6 hr nap stint. Might give him a bath and keep him awake for a bit or might be a long night LOL.
Oooh crying now better go.
Love
-
Cooper is sleeping well in his bed today, well since lunchtime so thats good anyhow, should be waking up soon, he really needs a bath so will give him one when he wakes or when DH gets home so he can watch Mason while i do it
Got a lovely gift today off an online friend today, a helicopter money box that she has engraved with Cooper's name and date of birth on it and a big fluffy ball saying its a boy with a teddy inside of it with a nappy on saying its a boy also, was so generous of her
I have recieved so many things from ppl online, great when you are thought of by someone you have never met IRL
Just proves to me how popular i am too pmsl :)
anyhow off i go again
-
Glad your day turned out well Kate and hope you get a better night tonight so you can feel a bit more refreshed tommorow
Well off to change a dirty bum and hopefully Cooper will be off to bed for most of the night
-
Rofl @ being miss popular Belinda. How nice though of the present you got. Lachlan has an engraved helicopter that he got at his naming ceremony. They are so nice.
Goodluck with tonight Kate.

-
LOL keeps my happy in my own mind to think these things Kathryn :)
And yes they are lovely, going to get one for the other boys, do you know where you get them from at all? Dont want to ask the girl who bought it, she might think i want to check the price out lol
Ah just got Cooper to sleep now Mason is awake, nite
-
Aaargh I think Kirsten is having a growth spurt...she has fed ALL day with only about 30 mins in between...about to go to bed..but I'm sure it will last all night too!
Hope this is just a phase!!

Hey everyone
All is well here, with Cooper asleep in my lap as usual lol
Done my first outing today in the car, but cheated and didnt take the big pram, so i put Cooper in the capsule trolley and luke pushed mason in his stroller, was so much easier and Luke is on holidays in a week or so and will be with me when i go out so might just do that for awhile, and keep the double stroller for walking to school and shops near here
All went well, Luke was the only annoying one at the shops asking for everything, we went to maccas for lunch and i showed Mason santa again, he smiled at him this time but tried to jump out of stroller when he thought he was coming over to him lol, so getting there, will keep showing him anyhow
Nothing much else happening here, have heaps to do here but buggered from the shops
