Trish we had the roast last night so yummy & tender.
M had hers with sweet potato & carrots, she couldn't eat it fast enough!
How much breakfast do all the babies eat? I swear M could beat me in a eating comp some times. Not that I'm breakfast person anyways.
Alz-Day sleeps vary around here, We average 1x60min & 1x90min
Willow yay for L, hope it continues for you :)
-
mmmmmm roast. We had one on Sat Mo. Maddi will love a swing set, how cool. Will is have a slide? can i come over and hae a go? huh? huh?
Day sleeps here are a bit hit and miss too.
Saffi- Boast away! Gives us something to look forward too. ;) I can't wait until she has a nap so i can do what i like! Sounds terrible but it's true. :D Bet you'll surprise yourself and be fine on your own.
Willow- good to see you! Nice work on the 8 hrs. I love it when she sneaks one of those in. Still BF'ing but not heading back to work anytime soon, not much help sorry!
-
Morning guys!!
Well for those who asked - I have had a lot to catch up on - my friend Taz has still not had her baby and I dont know whois more frustrated by it - me or her!!!
Yummy on the roast. I finally got around to cooking pea and ham soup in my slow cooker on the weekend - Caitlyn LOVED the broth of it and I am going to puree some at lunch to try her on this afternoon.
We had some pretty good sleeps over the weekend. Friday was 12 hours and then back to bed with me for another 3, saturday night was 10 hours. But last night we couldnt do more than 5 hours at a time :( oh well. She had a really big sleep on sunday so I think that threw things out! Oh well.
I do love to cook in my slow cooker but havent graduated much past roasts and pea and ham soup. I have looked at the recipes on BB but its a lot of stuff that I wouldnt eat so havent been brave enough to try anything else.
Still no teeth or crawling. Her "twin" at day care - a few days younger has 2 teeth and is past crawling and is now pulling herself up on things!! Mind you she also has a few older brothers and sisters to watch on the weekend. So maybe that is helping a little. Dunno - when C is ready I guess it will all happen.
Anyway - had better get back to work. Hope you all have a good day.

Of course you can Ange, i'll play on the monkey bars, you can have the slide, Maddi & Lu can share the swing lol
M has a MCHN appointment on July 15th, interesting too see how long she is now!
-
thanks for all the birthday wishes. i must say 32 doesn't feel so bad. having a nice chilled Veuve or 3 took the edge off it.
saffi - congrats on the sleep through :confetti:
um, i can't remember much of the last 3 pages so... i'll just randomly stab at it:
trish - what's up with k's skin at the moment? any improvement? i was thinking that sorbolene is always nice on itchy skin things - as both a cleanser and a moisturiser.
ange - i'm still laughing about the laying log thing... :rotfl:
what else...
question - once the teeth have popped through, do they continue to bug them until they've grown all the way up? or... is he still drooling, pooing and waking up crying because he's working on some more
-
my vote is for more teeth. I thought the same, but turns out the next two weren't far behind.....

Hi everyone,
Well I know "they" don't recommend dropping to one day sleep until at least 12 months but this is rediculous. I spoke to my MIL and she said that hubby dropped a sleep around this age too. He stopped all day sleeps by the time he was 2. Ethan is a lot like his dad. We went out this morning so E has only just gone to bed. I expect that he will have a decent sleep now. I figure that if I give him lunch early (about 11 or 11.30) then he can go straight down and have a few hours sleep before his afternoon bottle. He gets more sleep when he only has one sleep than if he has 2 and is much happier. Anyway I suppose it is all trial and error.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
-
Alz - Tahlia is nowhere near close to only have 1 sleep, she still has 3 some days (usually 2 * 1 hr and maybe 1 * 45mins). Although, having said that, she is one of the youngest bubs in here, some are 5 weeks older than her. 5 weeks can make a big difference!
Willow - hope L has done some more 8 hour stretches for you! I have to go back to work in October, and I'm not sure how Tahlia is going to cope at all without her b/f's. I'm trying not too think about it!:dunno:
Saffi - hope your enjoying your day at home with your little man
Mo - can I come over and play too?
Not much new with us, about to head to the shops when T wakes up, we need some more big bibs! We are running out of them way too quickly and its only going to get worse as she starts eating more.... and maybe I can detour past the toy sales again (he he he) :P
-
oooo - someone to play with....can we come too!!??!! Caitlyn loves playing with all the kids at Daycare but I am sure she would prefer some friends her age.....me too! My age though - not her age.
For all you mums going back to work later this year - I will be honest and say it has been one of the hardest things that I have had to do for a long time - including the whole labour thing. I am only at work part time! I hate leaving her and I dont think it has gotten much easier. Although after a weekend like the weekend just gone it is nice to be able to have a little break from her. But I must admit that I did pop in and see her at lunch time. So I am sorry!! And I feel for you. I so wish that I had had the "luxury" of staying home with C for longer than I did before returning to work but unfortunately that wasnt an option for us. Financially we would have suffered.
Mind you - Daycare has just informed all the parents out here that the fees are going up in a week - $53 a day now! Has jumped from 46 to 53!! I bloody hope I get some money back at tax time I tell you now!!
Caitlyn has about 2 sleeps a day. She sometimes has only about 45 mins at a time but for some days she has closer to three hours. It all depends on what time she gets up of a morning but we sometimes have 3 a day.
O o o o - we put her in the walker yesterday and she actually went forward - intentionally!!! She has going backwards and sideways down pat but she actually took a step or two towards me!!! Woohoo. Guess that means we will be starting to baby proof the house during the next week or so. I am hoping she will start to crawl a little soon.
Anyway - work calls yet again! Oh and the Avon catalogue does too!

Hey all!
Hope you all had a great weekend! We went caravan hunting again on Saturday, so tiring! We know what we want now, just have to find the right one at the right price. Not sure how I feel about caravaning with K yet... I'm sure we'll have a blast when the boys are older, we'll do a lot of caravaning down to Phillip Island. They both have surf boards already, I can't wait to teach them to surf!
K is still loving his food, sometimes when I feed him on my lap on the couch and put the bowl on the floor when we're finished, he'll lean right over to look in the bowl just to make sure it's all gone! Such a little piggy.
Oh, and a little quiet one...K slept 11 hours without waking ONCE last night! He can sleep up to 12 hours, but usually wakes once or twice for a quick dummy and a tuck in, but last night he didn't, I wondered if he was OK!
Viv - Glad you had a great birthday! Thanks for asking about K's rash. It's kinda gone in that there is no more red, angry rash, but his skin is still dry and itchy. I've been putting some Dermaveen cream on it everyday, it has oatmeal in it to help with the itching. I might try sorbelene though. Sounds like James is about to pop some more teeth to me!
Mo - I'm glad you tried the chicken in the slow cooker, it's the best isn't it?! I won't make it any other way now. Oh, and the leftover chicken makes the best toasted sandwiches!!! K & I are so there for the swing playdate LOL!
Kellie - K is still on 3 sleeps a day too. I can't imagine dropping one yet, he doesn't do 2 long enough naps to get us through. Have fun shopping!
Alz - My DS1 was 18 months old when he went down to one nap. I guess they're all different!
Rebecca - Your poor friend is probably so over being pregnant! I hope her baby arrives really really soon!!
Ange - You are always up for a meet up and a play date, such a social girl! I'd love to see you try out Maddi's swing set, hee hee!
Saffi - Hope you are enjoying your day with L and remember what to do with him LOL!
Willow - Woohoo on L doing 8 hours!!!! That is awesome, I hope he keeps it up for you!
Claire - Thanks for the rash info, I'm really not sure what I could be eating that is causing it. Please don't say chocolate! I hope Harry has been sleeping better for you.
Have a great day everyone!
-
round here he does 2-3 sleeps. last one is hard to get him down for though.
8am
11 ish
3 ish
open to variation according to mood.
-
Top teeth = well there are definitely on the way through as are the bottom ones too. Maybe they will come at the same time?? An then he will become a angel sleeper? Ange/Viv, as far as I know in our case anyway, it's trouble all the way with the teeth, and those molars...............they are a lot of fun!
Roast dinner! Yum! I'd eat one every night if I could, just love roast potatoes! We had fish, homemade chips and peas for dinner last night followed by pears for the children and warm chocolate brownie and custard for the adults (I know, I'm a cruel Mum!) YUM YUM!
-
Well I survived today. He didn't sleep much (only 2 one hour sleeps). I thought I'd lie down too but by the time I did he decided to wake up. I hate it when that happens. Hopefully he will go to bed easily tonight and I might get an early night - got to go to work tomorrow. hehe
Just saw the funniest thing. L is in his activity centre chewing on a rusk. One of my dogs was sitting there just waiting for when it fell on the floor - which it did. She made very short work of it. I know this sounds gross, but I feed all the dropped ones on the floor to the dog. She loves them.
Definitely think L is teething again. Grumpy, heaps of pooey nappies, off his food.
Kellie - KWYM about the bibs. We go through tons of them. Ikea have 5 bibs for $7 Bargain!
Trish - I can just picture you and the boys now hanging 10 off Bells Beach.
Viv - Veuve - classy! Where's mine?? Still older than you, you spring chicken.
Rebecca - KWYM about working outside the home and being a mum. You get home after a long day and have another shift ahead of you. But its worth it. In the end it is finding the balance that works for you and your family. Have to admit to having a few twinges of guilt/saddness when I walk out of the daycare centre. They are really good but it feels like you are missing out. Thats how I feel anyway.
Alz - you can't force a baby to sleep so if he is happy to do one sleep a day then one sleep it is. Not only do bubs inherit DH's looks but also their sleeping patterns.
Anyway, DH has just come home so better see how he coped with his first day back.
-
It was a lovely sunny day here, so bundled Lu into the pram and headed off on a walk through the bush. We were about 4 km's from home, when a storm blew in, i had no raincoat, just a little pram cover for Lu. The pram started leaking and dripping on her face, she was not impressed and started screaming! So i took her out and we huddled in a hollow tree for half an hour until DH drove past on his way home!!! Lucky i had one of the dogs with me, she barked when he was coming so i ran out onto the road. He was very surprised to find a dripping wet wife and a baby wrapped in plastic!
I am exhausted now.
Waste not want not Saffi! Our dogs get everything that the guni can't finish! I think i'll head to ikea for some more bibs, thanks for the tip. How'd forst day back at work go for your DH?
Alz- like Saffi said they are their own dogs. If he only need one sleep then that's what he needs, as long as both of you are happy. ;)
Clare- Can i come to your place for dinner??? YUM! Not looking forward to molars.
Trish- What caravan did you decide on. We have a camper trailer and i love it. Want to upgrade though to a flasher one! I can't wait to put Lu on a board either. A friends DD was riding a mal when she was 3! He would set her up standing and then give her a gentle push to take off, so cute.
Can't stop thinging about veuve now. i want some bubbles!
-
hi girls!
Ange you always can make my day with a great story! Hope you 2 were not too cold! You dog must be like lassie knowing when your DH was coming! lol!
Julia what type of dog do have again?
Alz I think all babies are really different when it comes to sleep! Myles can go all day with one big sleep or he usually has 2 maybe 3 lil sleeps of about 40mins! But he is not a big sleeper anyway!
Willow what great sleep! Send some of those vibes this way please! Will you be expressing for when your at work and at work?
Mo Myles has some muesli and some toast and scrambled egg for brekky most mornings! I with you on not being a brekky person but having Myles makes me eat it which is good!
Rebecca Hope your friend pops soon! And C will do her thing when she si ready! I miss having a non mobile baby sometimes! Myles never stops!lol!
Viv so glad you had a nice birthday! I wish i could have had bubbles on mine dam boobie feeding lol! Maybe James is getting more teeth?
Kellied i know what you mean about the bibs! We got some cute ones from target with the days of the weeks on them so we would have one for each day but DH decided he would use them whenever:doh:
Trish we would love a caravan! Its so easy camping with myles that a caravan would make it even easier! Maybe you send be sending me sleeping vibes 12 hours wow! thats great!
Claire mmmm warm choc brownie! Hope your lil man starts sleeping better !
Saffi Glad you survived your day home with L! hope your dh didnt miss L too much!
Not much happening here in the energiser bunny house! He just doesnt stop! Even Terri(star) commented on how much energy he has! Oh god what type of teenager will i have, mustn't think about it! Myles is loving his food too now! He had spaghetti last night and has scrambled eggs every morning! Well most of it ends up on the floor but he enjoys it!
Better go have a great night xoxoxox

Hi ladies, I am new to this thread and just stopped in to say hi.
I live on the Gold Coast and have 2 girls one age 4 and my bubs is 8 months. She was born 4 weeks early and sat up at 6 months and is almost crawling. We started her on solids at 5 months and she eats anything, everything and all the time, she is my 'chubby bubby'.
As for sleeping she sleeps from 7 till 12, up for 15 mins for a habit feed and then back to bed till 7:30am. Day will have one 2 hours sleep in the morning and a half hour nap late arvo, but if we go out she only has 2 hours sometimes 3 hours. Cant complain about that.
Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Kelly

:welcome: Welcome Kelly! We're a friendly bunch of mums, I'm sure you'll have fun here!
-
Ange - You poor things! We got caught in the rain too today. I swear every afternoon when I take the boys for a walk it rains when we are too far from home! I hope you're warm and dry now. We are looking at getting a pop-top caravan with triple bunks at the back for the kids (one bunk for storage or a friend/cousin). They are very hard to come by second hand, the ones we have seen at the dealers cost as much as a new one! A camper trailer would be awesome though! We used to always just tent it, so a camper trailer would have been luxury for us.
Amber - Wow, Myles really does sound like an energiser bunny! Joel was exactly the same as a bub, I used to look forward to his bedtime just so I could have a break!
Saffi - I'm glad you survived today! Our dog always gets the kids leftovers, there's nothing he won't eat so at least nothing ever goes to waste!! How was your DH's first day back?
Claire - mmm...warm brownies...can't blame you for not sharing with the kids LOL!
-
Welcome Kelly! you will love it here!
Trish how did you cope with the never sitting still! I cant even read a book to Myles without him squirming! I feel like i am missing out on bonding time cause he is so active:(
-
Welcome Kelly! I juggle two too! :D
Which reminds me I'd promised myself an early night -Night all!
-
Welcome Kelly - think you will enjoy it here!
Well my friend Taz sent me a message at 645 - her contractions were 10 mins apart so I am just waiting to hear the happy news. I would love updates but I know how annoying that can be!!
DAMN I HATE being so far away!
Night all

Rebecca hope your friend has a good labour! Cant wait to hear your exciting news when she lets you know! xxx
-
:hello: Kelly. I'm a Brissie girl tho I grew up on the Coast. Look forward to getting to know you. What are your girl's names?
Rebecca - woohoo, me thinks there will be a baby before the morning.
Ange - what a sad sight the two of you would have been.
Amber- we have those bibs too. I scored three at the Expo from the Triumph stand. Never one to refuse free stuff.
Trish - DH hasn't said much about work. What was cute tho was the big smile L gave him when he walked in the door. He got all excited it was so nice. DH and I have changed roles. He was happy to do the bath, bottle and bed routine. I can tell that he really missed L.
Dogs aren't too keen on the vegie leftovers.
Got a grumpy boy here, so not holding out too much hope for tonight. Just as well I've mastered sleeping at my desk with my eyes open.LOL
-
Rebecca - believe me, the mortgage is the only thing sending me back to work too! As I was contracting before DD came, I have to look for a new job, I'm really hoping I can find something part time.
Saffi - are the Ikea bibs big? I'll have to check them out next time I am there
Ange - your story made me giggle, although I'm sure you weren't laughing at the time! Hope you didn't get too wet
Welcome Kelly!
Trish - hope you can find a bargain for your caravan!
Anyway, I'm off to bed. Hope everyone has a night full of sleep!!!
-
Hi Kelly and welcome to the group!
another mum of 2 here. I have 2 boys. My eldest is 2.3yrs he was born 7wks early, and my chubba bub Tyron is almost 9months old.
sounds like you have a pretty good routine there and a very content baby thats great!
Rebecca- hope your friends labour went well, its hard being on the other end isnt it! when it was us we didnt want ppl asking every 2seconds if the baby had come yet but when ur so excited for someone else u just wanna share in their excitement!
i'll prob be offline for a bit, we are moving on Saturday, this week is super crazy we are packing moving the boxed stuff ourselves. My lovely mum is minding the boys for the arvo today and on thurs so i can go there and get some unpacking done. It can be done with kids but its so "stop, start" interuptions, feeds, sleeps etc etc etc not much gets done!
Ange- glad u and Lu are ok, must have been a long 30min wait though!
Tyron has 3 sleeps during the day but they vary in length. sometimes he has one BIG sleep and 2 cat naps, yesterday he had 3 short 30min stints which seemed pointless after battling at each one to get him to sleep! (another tooth is cutting and its all swollen and giving him greif)
feeling a lot better now but either ate something bad or had a bug on the weekend i spent most of Sat night with my head in the toilet bowl throwing up.... Sunday afternoon i was hot and cold and achey, DH was at the new house, as soon as he came home i took myself to bed (bout 7pm) then i must have fallen asleep straight away (cause i didnt see the end of domestic blitz!) and i slept until 7.15am when Ty woke up.......
-
Well I heard from my friend Taz this morning - Jessica Lily was born at 719am this morning! She was 7pd 9oz. She had a 5 hour labour, gas only and a little tear that requires no stitches!! She even got to catch Jess herself and cut the cord. She had a perfect labour and she went to boob straight away. There is a picture of little Jess in my gallery! I am sooooo happy for her and so proud that she did so well. I just wish I could be there now to cuddle the little one. But I will be going to visit in 3 weeks!!! WOOHOOOO
Little Miss C slept from 715 until 6 this morning when I gave her a bottle and bought her back to bed. She still doesnt have the rolling from belly to back thing happening and I think that is all that is waking her up - she hates being on her belly. Mind you she cant hate it that much - she sleeps on her belly without a drama. Think she just likes the cuddles in the morning!
Trish - Cool about the caravan.....have you thought about checking ebay out?? They have heaps of vehicles and stuff on there and you might find something close....or the trading post?? Good luck! I would love to be able to go camping - something that we are going to look at in the next few months - if DH ever gets any time off.
Nickers - DH was a bit that way inclined this morning - had a BIG technicolour yawn at 2 this morning. Poor darling doesnt do the sick thing very well (typical bloody male!) but he is up at work this morning so he must be feeling a bit better at least.
Anyway - am at "work" so best go try find some to do. Have a great day all!
MWAH

nickers - good luck with the move
rebecca - how exciting for your friend! I bet you cant wait to meet the little bub!
We had the worst night ever here.... she woke pretty much every 3 hours all night with a really strange cry, a cry I've never really heard before. Could it be teeth? I gave her panadol a couple of times overnight, and that seemed to settle her for about 4 hours. I feel so wrecked today, she had longer stretches than that overnight when she was a newborn, so its a real shock to my system. She seems fairly happy today tho.... do their teeth worry them more at night time?
-
Kellie i found when Myles was teething he would wake up with a different cry evena really painfull scream! It broke my heart! Panadol worked a treat! I am so bummed he cant wear the necklace at night cause i reckon it would help! Hope she sleeps better tonight!
Rebecca congrats on the baby! what a great labour she had! Beautiful name too!
x
-
M is getting her fifth tooth & seems to be really bothering her as-well, dosing her up on panadol & teething relief.
I feel so bad for her & there is nothing i can really do!
Trish got my book today, already reading it, even has a nice section for dads so gonna get Phil to read it.
Kellie hope Tahlia sleeps better for you tonight, It could be her teeth M wakes multiple times a night when she's teething.
Rebecca congrats to your friend, sounds like she had a great labour!
Ange story made me giggle as-well, so glad your DH saved the 3 of you!
Welcome Kelly.
Nickers good luck with the move
My Sister isn't doing well, she ended up have a c-sect because she had alot of problems last pregnancy/birth. Now she has an infection & the think she may have a blood clot as she is coughing up blood. Hoping it's something less serious & it bites i can't be there to help as she is in NSW. The good thing is her two eldest daughters are 21 & 19 so they can help but i still wish i could be there.
-
Aww mo your having a real rough patch lately! Sending you and your sister lots of love and healthy vibes!
-
Boy its been quiet in here!
Mo - you really are having a bad patch... hope things improve for you soon!
Not sure if Tahlia was teething cause she was fine last night... was a PITA to get to sleep, she finally drifted off around 10, but then she didnt wake till 8am. I'm thinking it might be time to drop her late afternoon nap, cause yesterday she slept from 5 till about 6.30, which probably didnt help with getting her to bed. Or maybe I should let her sleep still, but not for as long?
-
Kellie I know what you mean about sleeps. Caitlyn is only have 2 during the day at daycare and they are only short ones - 30-45 mins at most. But at home on the weekends she has 2-3 and they are normally really quite long - 3 hours on Sunday. I think they can stimulate her more at daycare than what I can at home so she gets bored and stroppy at home and I think she is tired so I put her down. I can't get it right with her on the weekends.
It has been really quiet in here - came in here for some light relief and to read some updates.....oh well. Still no teeth here...there is one just sitting under the surface I can see this little white thing but nothing is breaking through. Oh well - will just play the waiting game.
Have a great day all!

Afternoon!
Nothing very exciting happening with me. K is still not moving a lot, but he is generally pretty happy. He loves to copy when I say or do something. He still has dry itchy skin, but I'm going to the chiro next week so I will ask him about it, he is a bit of an expert in eczema, etc.
Rebecca - Congrats to your friend on her bub! How are they going? Re: the caravan, we have been keeping a close eye on eBay and the Trading Post, just waiting on the right one to pop up!
Kellie - I hope a tooth pops through and Tahlia goes back to sleeping normally! Day naps are tricky sometimes. K had a two hour nap this morning and then didn't go down for his next nap until much later than usual, so I have no idea what will happen this evening!
Mo - I'm glad the book arrived so quickly! Which one did you end up getting? I hope your sister is OK, it's pretty scary for her by the sounds of it. How is her bub going?
Nic - Good luck with the big move! How exciting moving into your own place!! Let us know how you went when you get back online.
Saffi - How has L been going overnight? Hopefully you've had some better sleeps!
Amber - IKWYM about having a squirming baby. Joel wouldn't sit still very long for books either which disappointed me, but the older he got the more he loves them. DH reads to him every night now and they both love it. As Myles gets older and gets over the novelty of being able to move and get into stuff he'll want lots more cuddles and quality time with you, I promise! Joel is the biggest mummy's boy ;).
Hope you all are having a great day!
-
Hey all
Kellie - I tell a lie! The Ikea bibs were actually $4 for 5. Their dimensions are Length: 29 cm,Width: 22 cm (so they are smaller than my Target ones) You can check them out on the Ikea website.
Trish - the last couple of nights have been pretty ordinary with L, but thanks for asking. Monday night was the worst. Last night I was up twice and so was DH. At 4am I resorted to Panadol. Not sure if it helped, as DH was up to him twice after that. He did sleep until after 7am. Bought the No Cry Sleep Solution book today. Wonder if it has the answer?
Rebecca - KWYM about daycare and sleeps. L's sleeps are much shorter there than at home. Don't be hard on yourself! Of course they stimulate her - they are professionals who's sole job is to take care of your child. They are not trying to manage a house, be a wife, a mother, and have me time all at once. It doesn't hurt for bubs to learn how to entertain themselves.
L's been vomiting today, which isn't like him. No temperature, but really off his food. My poor friend was looking after him for the first time today. She's got a child already but I reckon she's wondering what she's signed up for looking after L. She's pregnant with her second bub so she's getting some practice. LOL I'm at home tomorrow so can keep an eye on him. Seems happy enough tho.
On a sad (tragic) note my colleague's wife delivered her twins on Monday. They were still born! She was about 37 weeks pregnant. She had been going for weekly scans for the last month or so and they were doing really well, had strong heart beats and were a good size. My colleague started parental leave last Friday. I can't understand how within 2 days they can go from being healthy to still born. I don't know any of the details. All of us at work are shattered. I'd spent hours talking with my colleague about baby stuff in the months since I'd been back at work. Life just isn't fair! You'd never get over something like that! I feel so guilty that I have a healthy baby.
Sorry to end my post on much a sad note.
-
SAffi- that is so devastating. I just can't begin to imagine how they must be feeling.
Mo- Hope your sis is ok. Man you can't win a trick at the moment. We're getting another tooth too. sucks eh?
Yeah Lu used to be too squirmy to read, but she is just getting into books now. Only short ones with big pictures and as long as i am quick! :lol:I am sure Myles loves his mummy just as much as the next cuddly baby! ;)
-
Oh Saffi i am so sorry thats so awful! i cannot begin to imagine wht she must be going through! Sending lots of love your and her way! xxxxx

Hi everyone
I did write a message earlier but the site crashed when I posted it...I will try and remember just a lil bit....
Max got his second tooth yesterday....It's been hard as DH is away again. We just booked a flight to the UK for November too, which is exciting and something to look forward to.
He is also still not moving a lot....has been to the physio a couple of times and just needs to get some strength in his neck so he can hold up his weight (all 10kg of it!). Trish....with the chiro, have they ever said that kids can have trouble moving if their back/neck is out or anything...I'm just a bit scared of chiro's...Good luck finding out about K's skin.
Amber - How are you going with getting Myles out of your bed? Max has been in my bed a few times, but really when he is sad coz of the teeth....poor little muffin! - P.S Charlie is an Old English Sheepdog...ie Dulux Paint (boy that company owes me!)
Kellie - your nights sound similar to mine...bet a tooth is on it's way!
Rebecca - the teeth do come....I thought I was going to have a gummy immobile kid to raise, but Max is getting there...just slowly! Yay for friends having baby's...mine had one on the 2nd July...I went and saw him and just couldn't believe Max was ever like that!
Mo - Hugs to ya!
Saffi - That is awful, your poor friends....I couldn't imagine anything worse.
Sorry I didn't get to read back very far...hope all is well with everyone I missed
:)

Thanks everyone, things have to start getting better soon!
On the upside my Mum is doing really well, She does armchair aerobics Mon-Fri, she's making friends with everyone, joins in with the activities. She seems really happy there, Everyone adores Maddi & Mum loves showing her off lol.
So i feel so much relaxed now i know Mum is happy.
Trish i got Raising a happy child.
