Karen so sorry to hear that
Trish will PM you & your probably right it's doubtful they'll have sales on the things i need.
Karen - I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. It just goes to show how fragile life is.
If your old, so am I! I was thinking sooner rather than later for #2 but coming around to thinking maybe leaving it a while. I don't know if I can cope with 2 under 2 (or 3). Maybe it's my age, my fitness level or maybe just the fact that I want to enjoy L on his own for a while before adding to the family. There is the pressure of the biological clock and do I really want to be in my late 30s with toddlers? Seeing I can't go back in time I have to make the most of the situation I am in. I prefer to think having kids keeps you young.
Trish - hope your back gets better soon.
Rebecca - good to hear that C is better.
Mo - I love the name Lily, but also keen on Rori. I'll keep thinking of names for you. There is something to be said about waiting until you see the child and wait to decide if she suits a name.
Alz - hope you are feeling better. Its amazing what a good nights sleep can do to restore the senses.
DH and S-Dad are out fishing this morning. Hopefully they will catch enough for dinner. Last time they went fishing (up in Port Douglas) they weren't allowed to keep any fish they caught. They checked this time that they could.
Anyway having a good break. Feeling very relaxed.
Afternoon all,
Mo - it's up to you what you want to do sale wise, but I always find that the boxing day sales are great if you aren't looking for something in particular. Whenever I go with a list of things I need, I can never find them or they aren't on sale. Target have some great stuff on sale at the moment. Not sure if you want my opinion about the P&T pram or not. I will put my bobs worth in but feel free to ignore me or tell he to mind my own business. I won't be affended. My friend got one of those prams when she had her second and said it is a pain. For a newborn you have to slid the bub in and out of the baby section and then when it gets bigger the pram is hard to manoever. The other thing is that there is nowhere to put shopping or anything. I have heard that it is great though as it is fairly compact and you don't have to worry about fitting through doorways. As I said feel free to ignore me.
Well - worked out why Ethan slept so much yesterday. He has a bad throat infection. I took him swimming and he cried the whole time (not too uncommon) but then cried the afternoon a way. So we went to the doc yesterday arvo and he is now on antibiotics. Poor little one.
Anyway not much else to contribute.
Have a great weekend girls. Chat next week.
Alz thanks I've heard things like that as-well, but a side by side will not through most of the check-outs here, & i don't like the extra long ones. Maddi is still too young for the toddler seat.
When i go back to the baby store I'll have another look & make sure it's what i want.
As for the sales Baby Bunting is having one as-well so not going to worry about the boxing day one.
Hope Ethan feels better soon poor little guy.
Saffi thanks :) & hope the men catch enough fish.
Karen - sorry to hear your sad news. Hopefully the test results will bring something conclusive and a little peace. I had a friend who lost her bub 2 days old and she has never gotten over it, but has found some comfort and peace in knowing that others have been through the same thing. Another little angel for heaven's palace :(
Mo - congrats on your happy news! My sister is a bit of a master inventor when it comes to names, she has a Shekaila, Pheonix, Alaska, and now Loren. Beautiful names but unconventional. My other sis has a Maddison, an Olivia and a Mia, so a bit more conservative but still beautiful names.
REbecca - glad to hear Caitlyn has recovered. Caden is cutting two molars at present and I have held off getting the injections done until he is passed the painful stage. Or maybe that is just my excuse?
As for us, my first week back has been really great. Everyone has been so nice and talked lots about babies and kids. I have felt so great getting back into "adult" conversation and realise how much I missed it and how much I like thinking about complicated stuff, if that makes sense.
Had a bit of a "scare" this week :wall:. I thought I got a BFP on a test cos I had some light spotting, some cramping, but no AF and I did a test just to rule it out. It came up positive! OMG, DH and I were s@#tting ourselves, but did another test and it was BFN then I realised the first one was dodgy. I did a blood test at docs just to be sure and definitely not preg. Whew! To all those trying, or who are pregnant, this is no means a slight on you guys, it just simply would have thrown our plans right out as we are planning on some big things in the coming year. Don't get me wrong, I would have been happy and excited, but just a bit disappointed that it didn't happen when we were ready. Luckily now we get that chance in the future :)
Well, better go do some work  have a great weekend!
Karen im so sorry to hear about your neice how horrible. I cant imagine what they and you guys are going through now.
Mo- yay on your bubba GIRL!! i like the names you have on the list, I really like Harmony & Maddison.
I also like Taya, if i ever had a girl it would start with a T or N and Taya would be on my list!!
