Kellie - hope you had a good day at the Expo. I love going, gets heaps of free stuff. I love the Mother and Baby show bag. My subscription now ends in 2010!

This weekend my MG are having a combined babies birthday party. Since all the babies turn 1 this month, we thought we'd have a party in the park that Dads can come along to as well. Hopefully Sunday will stay fine as last weekend it rained.

Lochie is fine now. He was vomitting on Wednesday, had a runny bum yesterday, but today ok. There is something going around at the moment. He even gave it to me, tho I just felt sick. Anyway, we're all better now.

Funny thing about my son. There was an incident report at daycare today (where they had to administer first aid). My son put his finger in another child's mouth and (surprise, surprise) he was bitten! Wonder if he'll do that again?

Been a bit quiet in here. So how is everyone?

It is VERY quiet! Even though it's birthday time....I guess everyone is pretty busy at the moment. Either that or they are bored of us!!!! :)

Saffi, we are doing the same thing with our MG. Except our babies range from early Oct to early December so we are having it when I get back from the UK so end of November. We are doing a Kris Kringle style birthday pressie thing. I'm so excited...I get to buy for a GIRL! Can't wait!

Morning everyone!

I am on my own with K this weekend. DH and Joel are away with our BIL and 3yo nephew for another boys weekend away in the caravan. They left yesterday and were all super-excited LOL.

K appears to be cutting several teeth at once so he has been pretty cranky. He may be coming down with a cold that Joel has too so that isn't helping. When I got K up this morning his nappy was SO disgusting! I really think it's the worst I've ever seen, and the smell...:sick: (sorry for the TMI). I hate teething poos!

This morning he pointed to my pyjama top that has a cartoon looking cat on it and he said "dat" (can't say "c" sounds yet) and then said "woof woof" (his noise for all animals now LOL). I actually got him to make a meow sound which was so cute! I love watching him learn new things, the novelty doesn't wear off with bub #2!

Julia - Hooray for buying for a girl LOL! I love buying presents for my nieces, it's a great excuse to buy girls clothes!

Saffi - Have fun at your MG party! I remember doing the same when Joel turned 1. Make sure you take lots of photos!

Kelly - I hope you had fun at the expo! You poor things being sick again :hug:.

Less than 2 weeks now till my baby is 1! I cant believe it!

We had a great time at the baby expo yesterday, I even bought my 1st cloth nappies! However, I dont remember how to put all the boosters in the right way - can anyone help? I got a bitti d'lish and then it has the 2 parts that go in. I met the lovely Ange at the stall too!

Well I am filling in time. THe birthday cake is in the oven for tomorrows big bash and dh has taken Ethan for a walk. Very excited about this cake. It will be fantastic (hopefully). Dh is excited about eating the left over lollies and stuff that I am using for decorating.

Not much else to say.

I agree it has been very quiet in here lately.

Not much happening with me. Just come back from the shops where I have bought heaps of things for card making. I am going to make my own Xmas cards this year. Can only do then while L is asleep otherwise all the stuff gets scattered across the room.

L has been shocking with his eating and drinking lately. He is done to 3 x 200ml bottles a day and even then he doesn't drink all the formula. Also being pretty funny with his solids and much of it gets turfed over the side of the high chair. Anyone else noticing feeding changes? I recall that at 12 months their growth slows down so maybe that's it.

Hope you're all having a good weekend. Good news here is that the weather is fine.

Mo I just realised that if Cookie is naughty when he/she arrives you can call him/her Cookie Monster! Yes...Random!! That's me!!! :)

Saffi We leave for the UK on 2nd November (I'm a bit scared actually!) and yep it's to visit relatives! I am only a first generation AUSSIE!!! So with my Brit passport I am off!!! :) Oh and yes...Max has gone from eating king to a bit of a fussbag. Chucks things over the side, clamps his mouth shut and shakes his head 'no no no'. Breakfast is the hardest meal to get anything in to him. He hates things BLAND (not that I blame him!) If Max carries on like this Charlie is going to get chunky!

Trish Do you feel left out when the boys go off and leave you? I hate it!!! Ben has been at the races ALL day today! I dont like not feeling involved but know he needs to have some time to himself, especially when his work is so demanding and stressful at the moment. I never feel like I get any of that time though....whinge whinge whinge!!!

We had a busy day. had Chelsea's god father and his family here for a BBQ. She got very spoilt too! The start of the festivities! LOL.

Thought we migh ttake the kids to Southbank tomorrow for CHella's birthday but didnt realise it is a pupil free day. Grrrr.... not sure what to do now, there will be a million people there!

Oh well, Im off to have a rest for a bit, Mum and Dad are coming over for dinner.

Lochie, Mummy and Daddy had a great afternoon in the park at our MG bub's party. It was amazing to compare how far our bubs have come in the last 11 months since we first got together.

We are finally back in Melbourne as of 6pm last night, and very very happy to be home! The girls were hilarious when we got home, it was like christmas or something. You wouldnt think 2 kids would be so happy to see their toys and their normal beds. They both went to bed and sleep without any fuss ... maybe we should go away more often!

Well in saying that, we are away in a couple of weeks again. Mt Gambier for my sisters 30th and then we are moving to Sydney for 3 weeks (Paramatta area) for my husbands work. He is refusing to leave us home this time, way hard on the kids, as well as us being apart! Just need to organise something for the 5th member of the family, Benji the dog. I suspect he will be going for a holiday of his own to the kennels!

I have had a big read and catch up. Its amazing how much you miss the daily going ons of bellybelly :lol:. It sounds like there are some clucky mummys amongst you and also some that are 'trying'. We are meant to be, but with my dh being away for a week and a half, then staying with rellies, nothing much is happening in that department. My sister has just announced that they are also trying. She has a 1 year old, 2 weeks different to Tay and I was hoping to having babies at different times this time around. Oh well, we will just have to wait and see what happens I suppose. I did however bags my Mum for help, with no family here and two little ones already ... I dont think I would cope without her here when No 3 is born!

Anyways, better go. Tay is asleep (oh she has conjunctivitus, its horrible the poor little thing). I need a shower before little Miss clingy gets back up.

Awww thanks everyone. She is having a wonderful day. took the kids to the big play centre in the end becasue we thought Southbank was going to be packed. They had a ball! Chelsea got very spoilt this morning, and Mum and Dad are coming over tonight so is likely to get very spoilt again tonight!

Anyway i have a cake to decorate so I will try and be in later for personals. X

:cry: So we have had Mia at the hospital today, she has been vomiting and complaining and crying from a sore belly. We were worried, couldnt get into our gp so went to Casey Superclinic and there was a 2 hour wait there! They told us to go to the hospital, so there we went. They said she has gastro, gave her a tablet to stop the vomiting and sent us on our way. They checked Tay's eyes, she has conjunctivitus and gave me a new medication for that. We get home and I put Tay in her highchair and she vomits everywhere! We arranged for the doctor to come around in hope that he would give Tay something to stop the vomiting ... no such luck! He said we just have to ride it out, Mia has also started throwing up again tonight! Sigh ... I hate gastro. Tay is on Bruno's lap squirming and complaining and Mia is beside them sound asleep now. We are going to take one each to bed, back to sleeping seperately again .. yay!

Thats all for me ... sorry, just needed a whinge! Fingers crossed my munchkins are feeling better in the morning :crossfingers:

sorry been MIA, Nixon went alright with his op, he is recovering but his sleeping is atrocious atm, i dont know how much longer we keep up the leiniency because he is still recovering but it is beyond a joke.
we have a follow up appoint with the ENT specialist ont eh 31st and i think if he gives the all clear that everything is ok we need to go see someone about his sleeping.
Tyron's been a bit grumbly too he is cutting another molar, so make that 11 teeth, he keeps biting me and jeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzuuussss it hurts

happy bday to all the bubbahs, i have been lurking but not posting. i saw some of the cakes on fb, they looked great ladies. craig is a bker pastry chef so he is making a horse cake for lochie(his fav toy and the only way to get him to go to sleep is a horse that craig bought for him)
well i have had my first experience with a sick baby. he got very high temps last week and was off his food then he was recovering and copped a cold and cough from the weather going from warm to cold all the time so he is still recovering from that. thankfully he isnt TOO bad when he is sick. just a bit cuddly which i love. i cant beleive kieran is associating words with sounds trish. lochie still only says bub and dad and i dont think he even realises that he is saying words. although lately he has been coming out with 'gob gob', i have a feeling in might be a weird way of him trying to say loch.
but he makes motorbike sounds by pressing his lips together and blowing, fake coughing, fake laughing and kisses which is so cute.

i think it was nerida that was saying that her lochie isnt eating much at the moment. same here definately. almost everything i offer him he takes a mouthful and refuses anymore. naughty litle bunny.

rebecca, what the hell was that woman thinking???? calling caitlyn a fat b!tch, i was thinking about that and how on earth is that a cutesy name???? i would be angry to.

Sickness is going around I think (east & west!) Max was vomiting last night, and so was I! Not pleasant. DH is home at the moment too not feeling well. He is supposed to be helping me watch Max but he's asleep on the couch! Oh well, he did look after us last night!

Well, gotta go, I've gotta get the little fella to sleep...hopefully I can have a kip too!

All is well here, unimpressed with men over 3ft tall at the moment *grumbles*. Since no daycare Ryan has been going great guns! No snotties, no cough, and all go-go-go. By the time 3pm comes around I'm dragging myself around the house waiting for 5pm so Ryan goes to bed and I get a nap lol

We all have nasty colds here so it's not much fun. Joel always brings them home from kinder :(. K has been soooo grumpy with his cold, he becomes unbearable at times, nothing stops him from carrying on. He's learnt a new trick though! He now roars when I ask him what a lion says LOL! He also rocks his rocking horse back and forth and makes clicking noises (like horse hooves).

Celtic - That's great Ryan has been heaps better since leaving DC! Does Ryan have a nap at 5pm or does he go down for the night then?

Julia - I hope you and Max are feeling better today, there is nothing worse than having a sick baby and being sick yourself!

misskate - Poor Lachlan, I hope he is all better soon. K is great with word associations, but he is slow when it comes to physical stuff! He took ages to learn to crawl and he doesn't even try and cruise yet. It's funny how boys make sounds like motorbikes and cars! K makes car noises when he plays with a car, it's very cute!

Nic - I'm glad Nixon's op went well. I hope his sleep improves soon, it's so hard on you!

Amelia - I'm glad Rhys had a great 1st birthday! When are you going to Mackay? Are you actually moving there for certain?

Hi Girls, just a quick hi today as I am busy washing, disinfecting and getting rid of the gastro bug out of our house! The girls are much better, they are back to annoying each other, so when that happens you know that they cant be 2 sick!
