I hope you have all had/having/have lovely birthday's and get very spoilt from mummy & daddy!
Tyron had his needles on Tuesday, he was such a brave boy, he cried initally when each needle when into his Thunder thighs and stopped straight after.
wed and thur though he did like 5-5 poos each day, not sure if that was from the needles or teeth or both but far out!! he can stand on his own for small bursts now, mainly when he doesnt realise that he is doing it.
he is walking well when you hold one or both hands but if u let go he just lunges forward at you!

Seems needles are all the rage at the moment :( We haven't done ours yet, havent had the time and to be honest am putting it off a bit. Oh well, I will get them done this week I think.
Off to work on Monday, my last week of maternity leave has just passed. I am excited, nervous, looking forward to it and scared to death, all at the same time :redface:

How is everyone?
We had Tahlias party yesterday, she had a great birthday, she has been so tired today. She got so spoilt, we are going to have to put an extension on the house to fit all the toys! The giraffe cake went down well, and the jumping castle was a hit! I've put some pics on FB for anyone who wants a squiz.

We had our party yesterday too. Had a great day. It was just a small gathering but everyone that meant something to us was there and we had a great day. Lochie was so well behaved and enjoyed himself. Like Kellie we need to put an extension on the house to fit all the toys. We did a teddy bear cake (actually MIL did). Once I get off here I'll FB some photos.
We are off to Noosa for the week. We'll be taking the laptop along so I'll check in. Wish we were going to the UK (like Julia). Going to take L to the beach and take him swimming........

Sorry been a bit lazy again lately. Happy birthday to all the bubbas that I missed. Hope you all got spoiled.
Well I was off work today. Sick and miserable. Feeling a bit better now but really tired. Suppose I should go to work tomorrow.

We are officially "trying" for bubba no. 2. I hope it all happens faster this time. Don't feel like going through all the issues like last time. It's too emotional.

Alz - good luck with number 2. It seems that most mummas I know are starting to try for #2. I think it is great that you feel ready, fingers crossed it happens sooner rather than later :pray:
Saffi - enjoy Noosa! you lucky thing, am so jealous. Once DH sells his business that's it, we are off for a second honeymoon! Just kidding, we will probably relax down south for a week and plan the big holiday for when we are a bit more settled.

Mum2Squidgee - Glad Tahlia was a good bubba for you. It must be the party atmosphere that really gets them going. In one report I read on birthdays it said to keep it simple and small because they will get tired and grumpy, but Caden was happy as larry all day, and so were most of the bubbas in here it seems.
Quick question - how many of you are trying again, or thinking about it, or are preggers already? I am only just now starting to even get my head around another bub, but don't think we will start trying for at least another year. It is so interesting to see how others think about the whole age gap and TTC etc.
Well, we still have our first molar coming through, but he has been so good with it. It is only just poking through, and he has also had a cold and now the accompanying cough, so is not his normal happy self, but is fairly close.
I started back at work again this week. it wasn't as bad as I feared and was actually really enjoyable. I love my job so I guess I should have expected it to be good, but it was definitely more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Fingers crossed it stays that way for a while!

Dragonbub - DH and I talked about it and we think possibly september next year we will think about going for #2.
Kate - can't help you out there - DD barely even sees her dad so when she does all she wants his him....but I am still the only one that can comfort her. Maybe its a male bonding thing???
I have a question.....who has had their bub's one year vacc's done?? I got Caitlyns done on the 24th and since Friday afternoon/night she, i swear, has been the devils spawn!! She has changed so much. wont sleep in her cot! Cries/yells nearly all the time if she isnot being cuddled and the when she has had enough cudles she climbs of and then hucks a tanty!
friday night I was up with her every 1.5 hours from about 830 until 6 in the morning when i gave in and bought her back to bed with me (DH was away) and then saturday nigth same again but I gave in earlier and bought her back at around 12. Sunday night - phew - slept through! Minday night - 930 she was in bed with me!
she goes into her cot at night, falls asleep and about 4 ours later wakes up screaming!! Not crying - screaming!
I dont know whether its her teeth - doesnt look like it - or the needles that are making her unwell/unhappy but I am certainly at my wits end!

Kate - Hmmmm unfortunately not. Chels only ever wants me at the moment. Can get a bit hard sometime when I am trying to deal with both kids (Liam is a major Mummys boy too). I guess it is nice cause ya feel loved and wanted but at the same time, Id like to be able to do a few things on my own. LOL
Rebecca _ Sorry cant help with thte needles. Im getting Chelsea's done on Thursday. Hmmmm hope she does not become the devils child too!

Dragonbub - Nope not me. I will not be trying for at least 3 years now. Thats if we decide to go back for another one at all. I cant make u my mind yet. Some days we think yep definately want another one in a year or so and other times we think we dont want any more at all. Unsure. Will wait a few years and then deciede. I have my hands full with 2 ATM. LOL

same here with lochie. got his needles done last tuesday and he is unbearable. i think teeth are coming through as well but he has temps and is generally grumpy(normally teeth dont give him temps).hopefully it will settle soon....
Oh thank god!! Day care rang me at 330 and asked me to come get Caitlyn and then told me that she HAD to be checked out by a Doctor before she could go back. took her to the Doc who said if its not from the needles then more thanlikely it is from a virus - a wonderful virus where only panadol can be used....now if only he were here to get the bl00dy panadol in her mouth!
Morning everyone!
Well, we arrived home from our Wilson's Prom long weekend yesterday. We had a great time, the boys absolutely loved it! K got to spend the last half of his first birthday there :D. We went for lots of walks and Joel & DH went swimming even though the water was freezing! K wasn't too sure about sand, but he got used to it! I've put some photos of our trip on FB if anyone wants a sticky beak. I hate photos of myself though so don't look at those ones LOL!
K has learned a few more tricks! Whenever he sees a fly or the flyspray he points and makes a "shhhh" sound. He points to light switches and makes a click sound and if I hold him up he'll turn the lights on, he loves that game! This morning I showed him a kookaburra puppet and he learned to make a kookaburra sound, so cute! He's growing up FAR too quickly!

Kate - I hope Lachlan is feeling better today.
Becky - 3 years gives you plenty of time to decide whether or not to have #3!

I dread to think what i'll be like if this one is more active than Maddi.

Wow Trish - sounds like you had HEAPS of fun!! Sounds like K is a quick learner!! Caitlyn loves light switches too but hasnt yet figured out ow to turn them on...ours are the old queesland style ones with a knob on them that is quite stiff to flick up and down.
Thank you for asking about Caitlyn and no she isnt any better! Daycare have asked that i keep her home today (which i can kind of understand but am kinda ticked off about - whole other thread). she is so very unsettled and I am really beginning to think it might be her molars! but i can't see anything! I am going to get some of the breurs (?sp) teething relief and hope that helps! Althugh I am lucky to get panadol into her let alone something else...will just have to see how we go!
Mo - so sorry to hear about your mum......its hard watching your parents when they are ill. My dad had thyroid cancer and didnt tell us kids cause he didnt want us to worry...its only when he went to brisbane for treatment that they told us. But i dont know what is worse....knowig what is going on or not! I hope there are answers for you soon. :hug:

Not much new with us, Tahlia has another cough. Its horrible cause she keeps waking herslef up coughing! Last night she ended up in bed with us about 3 but then I put her back in her cot about 5 cause she was keeping me awake with all her wriggling, and she stayed there till about 9 this morning.
Kellie hope T feels better soon.
Maddi got a really nasty cough after she had her 12 month needles, she ended up needing anitbotics cause it just keept getting worse.
Rebecca Hope gets better soon.
As for my Mum it's just sucks, She may not be able to go back to her old Nursing home.
She needs to be watch nearly all the time now, maybe they can find some meds that will help her a little bit. I just holding out hope till the Dr's tell me that there is nothing they can do.

Kate - haven't noticed any change in L since his 12 months shots. L doesn't seem to have a preference of DH over I. He does tend to reach for me when he is upset. He is in his element at the moment being the centre of attention of both DH, me, and his grandparents.
Dragon - I vary on when we'll start TTC for #2. Thinking maybe June next year, but I don't know..... Congrats on the return to work.
Kellie - sorry to hear Tahlia is sick. Its a constant thing here with L being at daycare but is doesn't make it any easier.

We're having a great time here in Noosa. Today it has been raining so have stuck close to the unit. Even had an afternoon sleep which was so nice. L is being really good with the chnage in his routine. He was a bit unsettled the first night, but last night he slept through. Can't believe how much stuff we have just for L - high chair, pram, portacot, food, etc.
Funny story - DH and my step-Dad loaded up the car for our trip. L was strapped into the car seat and Mum was in the car ready to go. The back of the hire car was full with our luggage. I was just doing a final check of the house and checked underneath the house where I noticed the pram, the highchair and the portacot were still there! Men!
Anyway, better go and get L's dinner ready.
It's just heart breaking seeing her like that.
She has no idea why she's in there & i just keep thinking what if they can't help her will she eventually forget who we all are.
Wish i could be like my Sister & Aunties and hide away in another state and pretend nothing is happening.

Morning all,
Well I am feeling much better. Had a great nights sleep so all is good with the world.
Ethan is being wierd today. He slept all night, woke up at 7 (we had to drive daddy to work because of swimming lessons) and then whinged through breakfast. I put him back to bed and he crashed. Very unlike him. Oh well I am not complaining. It is nice to have some time to myself.
Mo- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How exciting another girl. I love your list of names. My favs are Lily and Rori. It is so much fun thinking of names. We have only just started TTC but dh and I are already thinking of names for the next one. I should be the hard one to please as I am a teacher and there is a list of names a mile long that I will not call my children. Dh is even worse. Oh well, it came naturally when Ethan was born. He had a short list but when we saw him I said that he was an Ethan and Dh agreeed.
As far as clingy babies go - yes Ethan is very clingy with daddy. He doesn't come to me much at all anymore unless dad is at work. You should have heard the screams when we dropped dh off at work this morning. He sobbed half the way home. A bit rejecting isn't it.
Anyway I am going to do some housework before my little spunk wakes up.

Not much happening here, I have a really sore back so I'm taking it a bit easy. Stoopid pelvis, it is out of sorts after our camping trip. Our good friends bought a caravan the other day so we are planning to go camping at Phillip Island in a couple of weeks time. They have two boys too, their eldest is Joel's age so I'm sure they will have lots of fun together!
