I'm back to update you all on us.... Not much to say really :) Yesterday I drove out to Gloucester (which is about an hr west of where I live) to meet up with DH and go on a bit of a picnic beside the river. It was just beautiful, had the dogs with us, but it was sooooooooooo hot!!! Took Tiera and the dogs for a bit of a play in the water then headed back home. It was a nice day, I just had to get out of the house!!!
The situation with my brother's has just completely blown up!!! Things are now 1000 times worse and I had one of them on the phone to me for an hr yesterday morning.. Him and his wife has now split up thanks to my other brother. Hmmmm The only thing I don't like about all of this is what could my brother have said in front of my SIL that she didn't know and something so bad it would be the end of them!!! Anyways I just listened, barely said a thing, had a good cry afterwards and now I'm just trying not to think about it. I have tried to mend their relationship so many times in the past that I am now just over it and I have to live my life not worrying about them two so damn much.... Thats really selfish of me isn't it?!
Amber - awwww you poor thing 4 am?! Its so horrible what the little people go through when they're teething, its just not fair! Your weekend sounds great!!! I hope DH has a great birthday and you enjoy every minute of your time away.
Anyways I just have a quick qu for the Melb mums..... Whats the weather like there in Feb on average??? We are heading down there for a week on t1he 6 Feb, but I'm just not really sure what to pack.... My know it all MIL told me to pack all the winter woolies, but I thought in summer the temps were similar to SYD and sometime even hotter?! I dunno... HELP! :)
I hope you all have a great day
Oh and Kellie I really love that pic, too cute :D
-
Pish - Feb in Melb is usually really hot, but it is Melbourne, so it would be good to pack a few cooler weather items too. Feb is usually when we get 40 degree days day after day, but as i said, its Melbourne, so it could surprise us! Where abouts are you staying?
Amber - I'd definetely love to meet you and Mr Myles! The Monday morning (16th Feb) would have been good for me cause DH is doing wedding stuff with the groom, but if it doesn't suit Saffi maybe we can change? or as I said in an earlier post, if its not too far or confusing for me, I can drive into Brissy?
Speaking of weather.. how hot is it going to get in QLD while I am there? I imagine very hot, but what type of hot?

Hi everyone
I've been lurking a bit, just too slack to post :)
I will BBL to catch up properly.....I'm off to the gym now.....scared! It will be the first creche visit for Max too!
'See' you soon!
-
Hello all,
Thanks for the lovely replies.
Kimbaz - I can't wait to hear Zachary's birth story. I love your avater as well, it must be nice seeing that tiny tum again?
Trinity - you poor thing. When we plan our second I am going to do my best to make sure I am not in third tri in summer. I had so much swelling with Caden - about 20 kilos of it - and that was in Autumn! Keep your feet up hun.
Trish - glad to hear you are feeling better. Second tri is most definitely the "honeymoon" of pregnancy!
BBL when (if) I have time. Have a great day everyone!
-
Hey ladies,
Been lurking....just lazy in posting!! Like some others. :P
TRISH - My mum and I were talking on the phone the other night and I said i can't wait to be PG again just to hint to her that we are TTCing again but she didn't catch on (LOL!) and she said the more u have the quicker the pregnancy goes!!
NERIDA - God, 2nd tri already! Where has the time gone to already?!?!
JULIA - That is my goal for the next month is to find a nice gym with a creche so I can start getting abit more fit. Been walking every dday while DH is away, so 5 days out of 10 basically, i am feel happier for doing it!! The hills though are killing me but getting easier.
KELLIE - Enjoy ur holiday to the GC....I love it there this time of the year!! BTW, love the pic too!!
TIFF - I don't live in MELB but I know that the weather can turn so easily!! DH was born and raised down there and he always says, "4 seasons in one day!"
AMBER - Have fun out at the dam this weekend!! Let's hope that Myles will sleep in for u at least one day!! ** FINGERS CROSSED **
MO - OMG, 9 weeks to go!! Have you got everything sorted?? Not that there would have been much to get cause u are having another girl.
KIM - How are you going?? Whats it like to have 3 kiddies.....How the little prince going??
Well, I have a biter on my hands!! I have observed him and googled it and he is classified as a "power biter" which means he bites when he isn't centre of attention or is in pain. I have started giving him his teething rings again and he hasn't biten me in 3 days **TOUCH WOOD**!!
For those of u who have more then 1 kiddy, when did u start toilet training?? I was thinking of starting Rhys but I just don't know yet. I don't want to have to change 2 bums a day once we have another one.
Well that is it from me. DH gets home tonight and is home for 5 and a 1/2 days!! YAY!!
Take care.
xx

Amelia i still havent started TT Chelsea, before Zachery was born she was telling me when she had done a poo or a wee and runing to the loo....but now things are so messed up she never tells me...like she doesnt realise she has gone? Within the next few weeks we will start...3 in nappies is a little tough.... :)
Having 3 kiddies is tough....but my gosh so rewarding. The girls have their one on one time with Craig and i and they love it. Chelsea gets a bit put out when im always feeding Zach but she is a little helper so adjusting well. Zach is gaining weight so fast, great sleeper and im just so in love with him!
Dragonbub i love having my lil tum back in my av....if only i had the lil tum IRL....more a jelly belly right now...LOL
-
KIM - Are u BFing cause don't quote me but i think it was u that had trouble with jas?? How are you going with it again??
-
Doh I just wrote a huge post and my computer crashed before I sent it, dont you hate that!
So anyway, sorrry I have been popping in and kind of keeping up with everything, but this week has been busy. Bruno is away, so I have tried to keep the house spick and span, because we are moving and they are renting this out and they had an open on it yesterday. You know what its like with kids, so I tried to keep on top of the housework. Maybe it might be a start of something new for me? Hhaha.
So Bruno's flight go moved tonight, then virgin cancelled it and couldnt get him on another. Qantas however could, but then took off without him! Luckily they had another later flight to put him on, so he is getting home a couple of hours later than expected. When I told Mia he might not be coming home, she got very teary poor thing. Its hard having him away on all of us. So hard with young kids. Trying to keep them both up to see him as they havent seen him since Sunday night. See how we go, Tay will be the one that struggles I think.
So Tay has started standing from a sitting position without holding anything and walking behind her walker. She also copies everything we say. My girls are great talkers but slow walkers. Mia didnt walk until 18 months and I think Tay will be about that as well.
Kim - so is it really heaps harder? Cause I am telling myself, how much harder than two (cause two is hard) can it be? Dont scare me!
Sorry for no other pm's, I would be here all night if I reply to everyone. But if I say hope all the pregnant girls are well, hope anyone with sick babies get some relief from them getting better soon and I sympathise with anyone who just isnt getting sleep ... I should cover everyone! Sleep .... I wish of late.
I will try not to be such a stranger from now! K x
-
Amelia i did indeed have BF issues with Jasmine....and this time im having my fair share of them as well. Its just so hard to be feeding all day long with the girls wanting me. Zach feeds alot (like a NB does) and im finding im not having time for me and the girls. So ive been expressing..but im now being told thats the wrong thing to be doing....but at the end of the day, he is getting breast milk from a bottle. Im also FF too....so he gets BF, EBM and formula!
Kaz i wont lie....its hard work with 3....but remember my girls are close in age, and Zach only has an age gap of 15 months between him and Jasmine. So some one, like your self (and Trish too when her lil one comes) will have a bigger gap and im sure it wont be as hard. No..hard isnt the right word, maybe full on? Im lucky i have Craig home 24/7 who is a huge help and a bonus to me.
Jasmine has grown inot a real little girl of late. So much personality!
-
Amelia - Generally TT doesn't start until around 2 years. Most children don't actually have control of their bladders and bowels until at least 18 months. Also they need to be able to tell you they need to go. Some people do start earlier that 2 years, some with luck some without.. It really depend on the child. A good idcator of when maybe a good time to start is when your child is down to only 1 or maybe 2 poos most days and they are around the same time each day... Thats just some stuff I remember from my childcare days (gotta keep up to date with all the textbook stuff!) :) I hope that is of some help to you. I too hope my daughter is close to or completely out of nappies when we have our next one. DH was 20 months when he was completely out of nappies day and night so it would be good if Tiera takes after him! :D
Kim - That is just fantastic things are going so well with you and the kiddies. I tell you what you are amazing to have had 3 kiddies in practically 3 years!!! I don't think I could have done it. I have seen the pics of F/B and its no wonder you are so in love with him, he is just gorgeous and the pics of the girls with his are beautiful! You have a lovely little family that you must be so proud of.
Kazaraz - Your DH must be over all the flight problems! Will be nice for you all to have him home again. I miss my DHlike mad even when he's only gone for a night. I hope the girls last so they can see their daddy. Its exciting Tay will be walking soon! :)
Have a great night all
-
Kim - talk about making it hard for yourself! I found expressing very time consuming so added to BF which is also time consuming and then making up bottles no wonder you don't have any time. I see on FB that you're going to FF. Think that makes a lot of sense. Love the photos of Zachary. Think he is going to look like his Dad.
Kellie - my day off is Thursday. It takes about an hour (give or take) to come into the City. If you are wanting to come up in the early morning allow another 45 mins to the drive (Brisbane does have traffic conjestion). So, if you are only coming to the City for my sake then don't. If Thursday doesn't suit, we'll just have to catch up next time I'm in Melbourne (not sure when LOL).
Amelia - almost 2nd tri. Still feeling pretty blah but I think I am starting to feel better.
Hi Dragon - good to hear that Caden is doing so well.
Kaz - talk about frustrating. Just good that DH was able to get home. Sounds like he gets those frequent flyer points.
Hi to everyone else. Hope you and your bubs are well.
Got a day off tomorrow. DH looked after L today - first time on his own for more than a few hours since L was 8 months old. Both seemed to survive the experience. Anyway, off to have my hair done, then lunch with some friends and then some shopping. L is going to daycare so I really will have the day for myself.
Speaking of L tomorrow is his last day in the babies room at daycare :( He is ready to move up as all his friends are moving up or have already moved and there are new bubs in there that aren't even crawling yet. He isn't going to learn new skills from babies. Just having a tough time thinking my little boy isn't a baby anymore.
Oh well, got another baby on the way to make up for it LOL
Anyway, best be off to bed to get ready for my day of indulgence.
-
Geez...after I came in earlier today everyone went nuts and now I have loads to catch up on!! I can't COPE!!! :)
Well today Gym was good...Max hated the creche though and stuck like glue to one woman! She said he wouldn't let her leave him! There were millions of kids in there (school holidays) so poor little sensitive relaxy maxy was a bit overwhelmed! I was only away from him for 30 mins and had a good time too! I had a personal trainer who is a pre/post natal trainer so she was great! I'm going again next week so Max can get used to it some more and maybe by then I wont get as sore!
Anyway, I'll have to come back in here again tomoz to reply with some personals! Sorry, i'm being slack!
Good night everyone
xo

Kim - yes I have to say 3 kids in 3 years is a credit to you! Your right, if we ever fall pregnant again, Tay is going to be at least 2 when a new bub comes along. So that gap with be nice. There is 17 months between Mia and Tay, and maybe that was just slightly 2 close. As they are getting older its getting heaps better though. As for feeding, expressing, breast and bottle .... its hard work. I have expressed and topped up with both kids, as breastfeeding just doesnt work for me. Everyone will have their opinion on it (nurses etc) but its what works for you, and with two littlies already anything that you can give Zach is a credit to you!
Pish - I was reading about your advice on tt, Mia just isnt getting there. She has good days and bad, goes the loo without me know and has now done 2 poohs on the potty even. BUt now we are back to no nickers, potty is broken and refsusal to go onto the potty. Its a little frustrating and I am not really sure what to do, other than to keep persisting? Any tips?
Saffi - yes frequent flyer points, we have enough for a return flight already, we just need to think of somewhere to go. I would really like to go to tassie, not far and apparently its very pretty. We are thinking of organising something for easter, but not sure if we will go close or fly somewhere. Its the weekend after my birthday, so whatever happens it will be a nice treat!
Julia - well done and can you send some of your motivation through to me? I am joining the gym I have decided, I must say its a bit daunting considering I havent been since pre-kids! But the Beach House at Fountain Gate apparently has a womens only section, which might make things a little easier!
Mo - how are you and how is single didgets going?
Trish - how are you coping being preggers with two boys this time?
Hi to everyone else ... hope you have a great day!
-
Hello All,
Minimax - I see youre in Perth? How is the weather lately, all over the place! I hear you on the gym front. I haven't put Caden into the Creche yet so I am not sure how he would go, but I really should do it at least once a week so I get some "mummy" time and can relax while doing a bit of exercise.
Saffi - enjoy your day of indulgence
Kimbaz - What an effort girl! I am sure that come a few years time when I am having my second, you will have been through the hard part with your kiddies and it will be heaps easier. I understand by what you mean "easy". My gf said that it never gets easier as they get older, but I think they get more independant, which makes it easier in one sense.
Monkey - Power biter huh? That sounds painful... Caden was a biter when teething, but at least he didn't do it any other time. Although, he has bitten my leg a few times to get attention :wall: a simple "hay mummy, I want some attention" would have sufficed!
Kazaraz - LOL about 2 being hard! I think I am put off having number 2 just cos it seems so much harder, let alone considering number 3! I take my hat off to all you dual mummies.
As for us, not much on. Busy with work, just bought a new car so DH can pick Caden up from FDC now (I was doing both, and driving 3 hour round trip to work :(). No travel plans because we are still selling our business, then after its sold we get a BIG holiday .
Anyhoo, better go and get some housework done, have a great LONG AUSSIE DAY weekend!
-
Hey everyone!
K is walking heaps more! Not long until he is officially walking I am guessing. He walked all the way from our lounge room to our kitchen before! He is also cutting a tooth atm so he is getting a bit cranky, but his sleep isn't too bad thank goodness.
Dragonbub - Two kids isn't too bad! I'm pretty sure it's the three year age gap between my boys that makes it easier, but we have adjusted really well and it's quite fun! Congrats on your new car!
Karen - How frustrating with Bruno's flights! I'm glad he was able to come home. I'm coping OK being pg with the two boys, thanks for asking! I think you just get used to it and you cope. I'd love to be able to have a nap sometimes though!! I reckon a 17 month age gap must be pretty full-on, I give you lots of credit for your hard work :D
Julia - I'm glad you went well at the gym, a personal trainer would be great!
Saffi - I hope you are enjoying your day out!
Kim - "Full on" is an understatement I'm sure! That's awesome that Craig is home too. I can't see how giving your bub EBM is bad?! You do what you want Kim and what you feel comfortable with. Whether that be FF, EBM or BFing, you have to do what works for you all :).
Amelia - I definitely reckon each pregnancy goes quicker than the last! Having other children definitely keeps you busy and keeps your mind off being pregnant (well kind of, they can't distract me from all this indigestion LOL!). I started TT'ing Joel when he was 2, it took us a year before he was fully trained. I never pushed him (I was also pg with K so I was sometimes slack!), I just let him get there in his own time. It worked well for us!
Kellie - Have a great time away! Hopefully you can catch up with some Octo-mums :)
Pish - Sorry to hear things have gone really bad with your brothers and SIL. February in Melbourne is usually very hot, like Kellie said. Usually we have consistant days in a row where it's in the high 30's and up to 40 degrees. But do come prepared with some warmer clothes just in case! Melbourne can completely throw you sometimes LOL! Where in Melbourne will you be staying? We should all try and meet up!
Amber - Have a great time away this weekend! And happy birthday to your DH! How has the holiday house been going?
Mo - I'm glad Maddi is on the mend. K loves grapes too! He could eat them all day, but man, the nappies after a big grape-feast are so rank! I really feel for you in this hot weather, keep that AC cranked!
Becky - A very belated happy birthday to Liam for last Friday! I was going to post happy birthday that day, but BB went down and then it slipped my preggie brain . How did his party go?
Hi to everyone else!
-
Hi everyone.... I have been MIA a bit lately but just cause I have been so busy! Will try and catch up as much as I can!
Trish - Aww thankyou for thinking of Liam! He had a wonderful day. had a big party and got very spoilt! Cant believe he is 3.... :( Are you hoping for a girl this time or really dont mind?
Dragonbub - How exciting!! What sort of car did you get? At least it will save you a bit of travel time!!
kazaraz - I hear you on the toilet training! Liam was almost done really and then all of a sudden went completely backwards and was having accidents all the time!! Now he is back to being great with wee's, but number 2's he just refuses to do on the toilet. Kicks up the biggest tanty. Its so frustrating hey but I guess all you can do is hang in there.... It will get easier!
Julia - Awwww.... hopefully Max will get better in the creche! I have joined a gym but at the moment its in a temporary building while the new one is being built. This one doesnt have a creche but when the new one opens in March it will so will be interesting to see ow my 2 go in there too...Good on you for joining the gym though!!!
Saff - How was your 'you' day? I hope you spoilt yourself! My sister has offered to take my 2 for the day on Wednesday so Im gonna do a bit of me pampering too! Cant wait! Not long now til your scan.... are you going to find out the sex???
Amelia - Oh no a biter!!! LOL. Just another phase they go through I guess hey... Hope your enjoying the time off with DH.
Kellie - It is so hot up here at the moment. Uncomfortably hot. Mainly just really really muggy.... I usually love Summer but at the moment I cannot wait for Winter!
Kim - Hey! Hope your still doing well... you make whatever decision is right for you and dont let anyone pressure you... Chat to you soon...
Re: toilet training.... Well as you can see I was having probs with Li, but Chel is going to be an early learner Im sure of it. Everytime she hears the word potty or toilet, she runs down to it, trying to rip her nappy off and then sits on it giggling. She also tells you as soon as she has done a wee and trots up to her change table to be changed.... LOL. Im not gonna start training her yet but its good to know she might be easier than Liam is!!!
Ok, Im stuffed now.... lol. Might go do a few things and catch up with you all again later!
-
Kaz-I'm getting more nervous but more excited.
Trish i know what you mean about the nappies ewwww!! K seems to be really getting around now.
Amelia i agree with the other Vic ladies :)
Becky glad Liam had a good day.
Julia sounds like you had a good time, I'm sure Max will start to love creche soon.
Maddi is over the croup & is back to her old self at last.
She's cutting her molars & has a really bad attitude at the moment from being locked inside all day because it's just too hot out for her & when she is bored she turns into Hurricane Maddison.
How 1 toddler can make so much mess is beyond me lol
Cookie is always kicking/moving so my belly looks like a scene from Aliens, i do love watching her move tho but she is so low it hurts to do anything, but at least it's only for a few more weeks:)
-
Thanks Mo.... how are you doing? Any more progress on names? Have you started getting Cookies room ready yet?
-
Becky we are getting no where with names. The other day i put a bunch of names in hat & let Maddi pick out one, she ended up picking out 2 & they were Aurora & Rori lol
So we still don't have any names & i don't see us agreeing on one till Cookie arrives.
At this rate Cookie will always be Cookie lol
-
Kaz - Ah TT is hard and I'm really not looking forward to it! I know with my nephew it took a long time and I was all out of ideas. Alls I can really suggest is monkey see monkey do.. put the potty beside to toilet and sit on the toilet n get Mia to (hopefully) sit on the pottty. I'm sure you're already praising her for it all, so thats all I can think of I'm sorry. I wish you all the best of luck with it all!
Dragonbub - Wow you must be releaved to have cut you trip to work down... 3 hr round trip is a bit crazy! Good to see you've got a nice holiday to look forward to, its just hard when you have no idea how long th business will take to sell, I hope its not long and you are organising your holiday really soon!
Trish Wooo Hooo for K! Once they find their feet they just seem to take of don't they! Thats great news! I would love to catch up! I didn't wan to menion it incase everyone was busy... but I guess theres only one way to find out :) We're staying in the city (cnr of William and Flinders), but I'm more then happy to travel to where's easiest for you and I'm really not restricted on what day as I am there for 7 days. The only thing I have to do on a particular day is go to the St Kilda Markets which I think from memory is a Sunday?! Apart from that everything else we wanna do can be done on any day, so if it is doable, you let me know when n where. I'd love to meet K and T LOVES other kiddies! :D
Becky Wow Chelsea does sound like it wont take her too long to TT... You're very lucky there! Hopefully Liam wont taketoo much longer for you, its not as easy as its made out to be thats for sure.
Mo - Great to hear Maddi is better and bubby is so active, thats always a good sign! :) Ah teething is just too mean on the little people.. just not fair! Tiera is also a great mess maker... I really don't see the point in putting everything away again when she's only gonna put it out. I now have all of the toys seperated into different containers and bring out one container per day (a different one each day) so she's got different toys and not as many to put away at night when she's gone to bed! Its working well! lol
Ooooo its my turn now! :D A friend of mine came over yesterday and spent the day with us which was great. We only popped over to the shops, the rest of the day we just spent talking and playing with the children as it was far too hot to do much else and she is always excpecting her next bubba lou in 6 weeks. Her little is 3 days older than Tiera and they are just so gorgeous together, they play so well (apart from a few times Tiera got brought to the ground n rammed with toys, and held down etc! lol) They are the same sort of size, both short, but Brecklin is lighter than Tiera. I put an identical pink nappy on him as Tiera, picked them both up and took them fora walk... hehehe it was too cute. I had to see him go home in a pink nappy as his dad would freak!!! hahahaha
Well thats about it for me... Tiera is being a bit whingy today :( I'll take her for a walk shortly and hopefully she'll get over it, just too many people at the park again this w/k.... long weekend, the place is fully. So thats 54 cabins, another 40 or so powered site and about 300 people camping on the Island... I really can't wait until most of them are gone so we can have our lives back to c=some kind of normalcy!
Anyways ladies I hope you all have a great weekend
Oh and if Trish and I meet up, all of the Melb people are most welcome to join us, I'd love to final meet some of you :D
-
Tiff i'd love to come but as i don't drive yet it would have to be a weekend so i can get Phil to take me :)
-
Tiff i must be really slow...are you coming to Melbourne?? When?
It would be great to meet up.... :)
-
i'd love to come along too, but it will depend on when it is, as I think it may be at the same time as I am in QLD?
-
Awesome ladies! :D I'll be there from Fri 6 Feb until Fri 13 Feb. I'm happy to make it Saturday7th if that suits everyone?! You just tell me where n I'll be there. DH thought it was great... He really wants to go to the Casino for the day! lol And what ever time suits everyone suits me... Tiera is pretty good when she's kept occupied so she easily adjusts to different naps times if need be :)
-
Oh cool Tiff...i can probably do the 7th...as long as i know where it is and can find my way there..LOL
-
TIff - I like the idea of having toys separated into containers and only bringing one out a day. We are going to put our house up for sale soon so that may stop some of the toy mess we currently have.
Kim - how are you going?
Nothing happening here. L has another 2 teeth coming through but fortunately no nappy rash this time. I don't know how many he's got in there now but its a lot.
Anyway, going to try to make some cards this evening. Haven't made any for at least a month so I'm a bit rusty.
-
Going well Saffi, thanks for asking. Zach has a crappy eye...took him to the drs tonight and they wouldnt see him cos he isnt on our MEdicare card yet, told me id have to pay $53....which was fine...til the said EFTPOS was down and id have to go get cash out then come back before a dr would see him. I didnt have time to be trampling all over town with a 9 day old to get cash out....so trying the BM trick and hoping it helps.
Jasmine has 6 teeth....but a heap still trying to cut....they just wont come through..but she is good natured about it!
-
Tiff Sat the 7th sounds good to me :)
Saffi hope you go to make some cards :)
Kim how Crummy of the the Dr's office, you think they could of sent you out the bill since Zach is a baby & eftpos being down is their fault.
Hope his eye gets better soon.
I have a odd kinda question.
My MIL is getting a Tattoo that says Maddison on her boob, Now am i the only one who thinks that is odd? It's not like she couldn't have Maddi's name put on her Arm or leg etc.
Just curious what other people think, Maybe it just annoys me because she's doing & saying so many things lately that annoy me.
-
Mo i find that really odd....i mean yes fair enough if it was YOU getting it on your boob...but MIL?? Why the boob and not elsewhere?
-
Mo - no didn't end up making any cards. By the time L went to bed, we had dinner etc it got late and I was tired.
I do think it's a bit strange of your MIL to get a tattoo at all (unless she already has some). Is M her first grandchild? Will Cookie's name go on her other boob, and then what about other grandkids that come along? Could look like a bit of an honour roll by the end of it. I would take it for how she intends it, that she's proud of her grandchild. The boob isn't so bad (I guess), just think where else it could have gone.......
Kim - hope Zach's eye gets better. Remember from last time many of you swore by the BM in the eye remedy.
Stinking hot up here today. We've had some rain and now it is really humid. So Kellie when you come up here be prepared for the heat.

Saffi - Tiera is getting 2 more teeth atm (another 2 on the top row) and doesn't have nappy rash this time and she's not even cranky like usual! Wooo Hoo! :) I must say the weather here today is beautiful... Much cooler after the atorm we had last night.
Kim - That is terrible they didn't let him see the Dr!!! I had to take T to Dr when she was 2 weeks old and they just told me to go and get her on my Medicare card when I could and they would just add the details afterwards. They're depriving a new born baby and medical attention! I would have been furious! (Maybe I'm just a cranky pants! lol)
Mo - That is a bit odd.... I agree that the tattoo thing is ok, but on the boob?! Hmmm I dunno, its just a bit strange. Are you going to mention anything to her before she gets it done? (or talk to Dh about it?)
Not a lot going on here. Just enjoying a cooler day, we had the strangest storm last night... The sky was soooo bright and was the colour of fire! It was that reddy, orangey colour like fire and was as bright as day, then after about an hr it got very dark an the lightening was constant for hrs, was still going when I went to bed. There wasn't a lot of ran or much noise.... It was just wierd really. I told Josh it was the end of the world!!! lol :D
Melbourne Girls I am really looking forward to meeting up. When Trish comes back I'll see where she thinks we should meet. :)
Have a great day all

She has Phil's name tattooed on her arm & was originally going to get it under his name. That i thought was fine, but then Yesterday she decides that she wants it across the boob so you'll be able to see Madd & the ison will be hidden under the bra or something along those lines.
I just think it's tacky to get Maddi's name tattooed there, i mean it would be different it was her partner.
Saffi she banned us from having anymore Children as they will only hold us back in life & it's not worth it. So as far as she's concerned she only needs 2 boobs.
Tiff she really couldn't care-less what we thought about it, as it's her body & who cares if it upsets the us.
That storm sounds like it would of been nice to watch, been ages since we had a nice storm.

Pish - yeah I will be glad to put in some more hours at work and less time running after bub and DHs. LOL about Tiera playing with her friend. They are definitely too cute at this age although Caden seems more interested in birds, planes and dogs to worry about his playmates for the moment
Trinity - I hear you on the bad attitude. Caden has cut 2 molars and almost cut the other 2, but I think the eye teeth must be coming in because he has been so grizzly of late. Such a pain in the b*tt but I guess it hurts him more than me. It means he has a short fuse and gets frustrated really easily. I am hoping it is the teething and not a new "developmental" issue
Becky - We got a Ford Focus, the same as my lease car (I salary sacrifice through work) but it is blue. It is very nice and now that DH can do the drop offs and pick ups it is much easier on me. DH has been made redundant so he has been helping alot more with Caden. I musn't get too used to it though because he really should be looking for a job but he has hinted about being a SAHD! LOL about Chel eager to TT! They say girls are far easier than boys...
Melbourne ladies - I am so jealous that I am all the way over here in WA and wont be able to meet up :( Have fun anyway, I will be there in spirit.
As for us, I think CAden is teething again as he took an hour to get down tonight which is most unusual. He has been off his food and very grumpy and clingy lately so that must be it :wall:. Nothing much else going on, looking forward to showing Caden the fireworks tomorrow night.
Oh well, have a great Australia Day everyone!

Hi everyone! Thought I'd pop in while the boys are out buying soil for a veggie patch!
To Pish and all the Melbourne gals, a meet up on the 7th sounds great! I'd prefer a weekend too because then DH can come and help me with the boys. A suggestion from me for a place to meet is the Collingwood Children's Farm. We went there this morning with the boys and there is a little cafe there and heaps of animals for the kids to look at. There is an admittance fee, but if we just stuck to the cafe at the front then we could get away without paying it. If you wanted to walk around the farm afterwards then you could pay, it's $8 per adult (I'm pretty sure babies are free, but it's $16 for a family anyway). The boys had a great time there, they had a session at 10am where they milk a cow and Joel got to have a turn which he was very impressed with! They have pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, donkeys, horses, etc. I'm not sure if anyone else is keen to meet there, but it's close to the city and really easy to find. Let me know what you all think or if you have any other pram/bub-friendly suggestions then let us know!! What time would you all like to meet? Should we meet for lunch? What suits everyone?
Dragonbub - Us Melbourne girls will make sure to think of you when we meet up LOL!
Karen - Where are you moving to? Hopefully you can sneak out to meet up with us!
Mo - I would be really weired out about the tattoo too! Oh well, I guess there isn't much you can do to stop her hey? And banning you from having any more kids??? She sounds a bit "odd"!
Pish - I love a good storm! I used to drive to the top of Mt Dandenong with a friend during storms and we'd watch the lightening go across the sky over Melbourne. It was really scary, but so cool!
Kim - How frustrating about that Dr! I hope Zach's eye is better today.
Saffi - K's got a tooth coming through atm too. He's been a bit cranky, but seems to deal with it better now he's a bit older.
Kellie - When are you leaving for QLD? Hopefully you can come to the Melbourne meet up!
Becky - I'm glad Liam had a good birthday! It's so scary how fast they grow up!
Amber - Happy birthday to your DH! I hope you have had a lovely time away :D.
I have been keeping really busy this weekend. I find if I'm busy I don't feel as cr@p! I have cleaned out our garage and cleaned out our laundry (believe me, that was a massive job LOL!) and rearranged Joel's room. We are making a veggie patch in the backyard this arvo. I'm glad the boys have gone out for a little while, it gives me an excuse to put my feet up for half an hour!
Hope you are all having a great Australia Day!

Mo - Hmmm not good... Your MILsounds a little pig headed like mine (if I'm allowed to say that?!) Below your Dh's name would have been nice.
Kaz - The 7 n 8th is the only weekend I'm in Melb sorry. :( I hope the move goes well for you... Moving isn't much fun, but when you're all settled in it'll be great!
Dragon bub - It really sucks when they're getting teeth. I hope Caden is feeling better really soon. I must say too Tiera LOVES dogs! She barks when ever she sees one hehehe its really cute. One of our dog's 'talk'... He has a happy bark n doesn't shut up when he's excited and he loves her so much the when she's outside he is none stop so thats where she gets it from! :D
Trish - The farm sounds fantastic to me! Hye you always seem to be cleaning... I really think I need to take a leaf out of your book. I do the basics - washing up, washing, drying, folding, ironing, floors, dusting, beds and bathroom, but go as long as possible with everything else! lol oh thats terrible and I really shouldn't addmit that either should I?! :)
I am bored out of my brains... It is so hot here I really don't want to go for a walk but I do cuz I have nothing else to do! lol Tiera is in bed atm and has been for the past 2 hrs.... She's such a good sleeper! Oh and she seems to be cutting another 2 top teeth, which makes 6 for the top, but only 2 on the bottom... Thats not normal is it? Strange thing is the bottom two have been coming up and down since she got her first two teeth! She hasn't been at all whingy or anything like she usually is so hmmm its all a little weird! :D
Have a great Aussie Day all

Happy Australia Day!
Saturday the 7th sounds great to me! We are leaving for QLD the following weekend. It is my BIL's bday that day, but we are having an early bbq dinner for that, so either a morning or early lunch would be best for me. The Collingwood Childrens Farm sounds great, I have been wanting to go there for a while. Kazaraz - it would be great if you could come, Tahlia and I would love to meet you! We'll have to see if Ange and Lulu want to come too
Mo - I agree with the others, that tattoo does sound strange
Saffi - will a forecast for the week of 37, 40, 40 40 and 30 prepare me for QLD? Cause thats what its going to be in Melb this week - yuk!
Hope everyone else is well, we had my best friends 30 th birthday, combined with an Australia Day celebration today, was lots of fun.
