Ick ick ick on the weather this week, I don't not recommend being heavily pregnant in summer!!!
Good to know I'm not over-reacting to that tattoo. Tiff MIL is so pig headed, i could think of few other names for her but we go there lol.
Trish she does have her very odd/rude moments.
Sat 7th sounds great to me & i know Maddi would just love the farm. I'm happy with a mid-morning/early lunch meet-up as well. (I've let Ange know about the meet-up)
-
Kellie - I forget that Melbourne does get very hot. I don't mind the heat but its the humidity that gets me everytime. When you get off the plane (assume you're flying) be prepared to be hit by the humidity and unable to breathe for a moment.
Melb gals - sounds like a nice place to meet up. Wish I was able to come along :(
Pish - everything you listed is normal cleaning. What else is there to do?
Big day tomorrow. L turns 15 months and is moving up to the toddlers room at daycare. It will be interesting to see how he copes sleeping on a mat on the floor and sharing his snacks with the others. One of his carers from babies is also moving up to the room as are the majority of his babies class so he will be with familiar people.
Anyway, getting late and best try to get to bed. Slept on the couch most of the night so not sure if I'm ready to sleep.
-
Mo - Yeah I find the tattoo thing a bit odd too. Are you going to say something?
DragonBub - Yay for the new car!
Saffi - Good luck with Lachlan tomorrow... Did you get my PM?All you Melbourne girls - Have a wonderful time!!
Talk soon
-
Kellie - Awesome! Great to hear you'll be joining us, should be a good day. I think the kiddies will love it! :D
Mo - I had wanted to be preg during summer next time so I can have a winter bub but I dont thin it would be much fun! One of the many reasons we decided to start trying early!
Saffi Wow.... What a big boy moving up to the toddler room! Thats a scarey thought that this time has gone so fast and they're toddlers! I hope to adjustment goes well. Its good that he'll have some fimiliar faces there though. When I was in day care one of the ladies wouldn't leave me and with every room move I made, she came with me... I still talk to her to this day and she still keeps a pic of me and a boy Cohen (which was my best friend during pre/primary school) up in her house! lol
Becky - I love that pic of Chelsea, she's a little cutie! :D
Not a lot going on here.... Went for a 2km walk this morning and met up with some of the ladies from Mother's Group. It was so good to get out of this bloody house and feel a bit normal again! I am sooo glad most of the terrorist (heheh tourists) have gone and the town is quieter. The park is very quiet but now everyone has gone there is a lot of cleaning up to be done. There isn't a lot we can do when every site and every cabin is book for 6 weeks straight so it all needs to be done before Dh starts his holi's as of this Friday! Ain't gonna happen! lol
Anyway ladies have a great day
-
Hi everyone!! It feels like its been ages since i was on here! I have been trying to keep up via emails from Bellybelly but its just not the same!
I am realyl sorry that i dont have much time for personals but I do hear all of those that are going through teething at the moment. Pish Caitlyn only has 2 bottom teeth and six or eight top teeth (depending on whether they are up or down - they seem to vary day by day!) but she is cutting her bottom molars now. What a noise!!
the last couple of nights with her have been painful. She used to sleep 10-12 hours in a hit - now i am lucky f she sleeps past 3 am! Only been the past few days though and i think it is because we have been stuck at home (raining!) with not a lot for her to do. Will see tonight after a full day at day care.
other than that - she is a walking, talking, EATING machine!! My goodness the girl can eat! Almost as much as me!
She is growing up so quickly! She is in size 1 at the moment but her little belly is poking out the bottom of most of her shirts and i am wondering if she should go up to a 2! Althugh they seem too big for her....poor little thing! Think she is going to be tall like her dad (he is 6 ft 3, i am 5 ft 2).
Now for my question (sorry for TMI)...for those on Implanon - did your body go through the same sort of changes that it did while you were pregnant?? For the past 3 days my boobs have been sooooooo sore....and i can't wear a bra (not good for a 14DD!) cause it touches my nipples and is SOOOO PAINFUL??!!! This is what it was like when i was first pregnant.....and ideas????
Anyway - I hope you are all doing well and all those that are pregnant again are getting more and more excited!!
Will try and get here more often - would love to make the meet up with all of you but that jus isnt gonna happen!!
Bec
-
Tiff if you wanted a June, July or August baby i guess being pregnant during summer wouldn't be as bad, as you wouldn't be at the point of feeling like a whale lol
Becky if i thought she would change her mind & not turn into a total cow about i would.
Rebecca When i had the implanon i had some symptoms like that but nothing that bad, i did get the continuous light bleeding for a few weeks then nothing for months.
It really messed with my body.
Saffi How did L go today?
-
Rebecca77 - I have been on the mini-pill since Caden was 6 weeks old and TBH have noticed no side effects, but I wouldn't have noticed them too much then anyway cos I was still establishing bfing. I was on implanon a few years ago and the only side effect I had was bad pimples. I had no problem with breakthrough bleeding or anything.
Pish - glad you got out of the house for a walk. LOL about Tiera and the dog. I want to get a dog in a few years when Caden asks for one. Then he can name it and it will be "his" pet even though I will be the one who looks after it .
Trish - I am definitley jealous. It is so lovely to meet up with other mums and chat. I love going to the park and listening to others tell their stories. I never get tired of it and am always eager for more information. It makes me realise that having a baby really connects you to other people in a way that no career, study, or other can do. It is like you are part of a larger family with invisible ties but such a strong bond.
Saffi - I hope Lachlan went ok in the big boys room?
Becky - yeah, first day for DH to drive Caden to and from DC tomorrow, fingers crossed it all works out!
Trinity - on the tattoo, it IS a bit weird. Although my MIL would never dream of doing anything of the sort and I think is only vaguely aware of Caden's actual name anyway . Of course I am kidding, she is much better now that Caden is bigger. In a way it is a nice gesture, but a bit hard to show people the artwork without exposing oneself...
Everyone else - hi! HOpe you are keeping cool in the heat.
As for us, busy week ahead because I have missed a day of work due to Oz day so will be busy for the next week making up for it :(. That is one of the drawbacks of part time, you have to work 50% harder to justify your time off, which makes it more stressful and you feel guilty more. It is even harder being a woman I think, because they expect you to be focussed on your child and not professional. I find it quite easy to stop thinking about Caden at work (I never forget him but he is at the back of my mind cos I know he is safe and happy) and just get on with the job. In fact, since being a mother, I find I am better at my job, better at time management and multi-tasking. AND I don't waste time like I would've before.
Well, on a personal note, I haven't had AF since before trying for C and I stopped bfing about 6 weeks ago. I assume I will get it soon but am starting to worry slightly. Has anyone else experienced this?
Better be off, dinner to cook, yadda yadda. Have a great week!
-
Hey all
L seems to have had a good day. In the end they put him down for his sleep in the nursery as he wouldn't stay on his mat. I barely held it together when I left him this morning. Early days but I am sure he'll be playing like the big kids in no time.
Dragon - I stopped BF at 5 months and it wasn't until L turned 12 months that I had my first period (and the one that I fell pg from  ). My cycles were carp beforehand so wasn't surprised it took so long to come back.
Hear ya on the part time employee/fulltime Mum business. I have to be better at managing my time cos I can't stay back to finish stuff up. I have some photos of L at my desk and love looking at him and that keeps me motivated.
Pish - terrorists = tourists LOL
-
Thanks Saffi, good to know it is not just me!
-
Rebecca - So good to hear from you! Good to hear Caitlyn is doing so well! Geez it must be hot p your way... I don't know how you deal with it, I couldn't lol
Dragon bub - Hmmm yeah it must be hard working P/T. I hope they don't over work you this week :D I can't help you with your little prob sorry. I stopped BF at 6.5 months which was just after I got my first af after having T. I dunno why that would happen.
Saffi - Glad to hear L did well in the 'big room'! :) I know that there isn't anyway Tiera would sleep on a mat, and I'm sure they're use to that when the bubbies make the transition. I was thinking yesterday that Tiera does not sit a seat to eat... I have to put her in her high chair or she'll just run around! lol So that got me thinking I really need to put her into a child care situation from time to time so that leads me to today....
I went to the gym this morning and left Tiera at the Creche. I really freaked out and wanted to cry, but T was fine. Once she saw the other kids it was as if I wasn't even there anymore. I felt terrible when I walked out and left her there incase she turned around to look at me and I was just gone :( But as I say she didn't give a toss! lol When I got back I thought she'd at least give me smile, but no... She started talking to me as if she was telling me what she had been doing, but no smile. I really enjoyed the body pump class and I think it will be easier to leave her next time... After I get over the guilt I'm feling atm! hahaha I'm hopless.. I know :D
I hope everyone has a great day
-
Oooooo I forgot  I had a qu for everyone...
What size clothes are your little people in? I saw Rebecca say Caitlyn is in size 1 possibly going into 2. Tiera is in 0.... Her PJ's are size 1 but very big on her and some 00's still fit her. Tiera is short according to our blue book and is under the 50% line with her weight which I have to watch but not stress about just yet (Hmmmm). She looks chubby, she is not under weight for her height if you ask me (My mum always said Mother's second as Dr's!) hehehe.
-
Maddi is size 1, but can still fit some 0's depending on the brand.
She is very tall 81cm's at 16 months, She's on the 75th percentile for everything.
-
Pish - if you can believe it.....its not really that hot here at the moment. We have pretty much had rain every day since before the start of January (well it feels like it anyway!) and it has really cooled things down. In November we were getting high 40's but now we are lucky (sort of) to hit low to mid 30's.
the only draw back is....the humidity. I am from townsville originally so you would think i would be used to it but after living here in the very dry heat for the past 2 years the humidity that has come with this rain is killing me!
Anyway - you all know my little (ha ha) bubba is in a size 1 almost 2 but i do have to admit that i sent her to D/C today in a pair of size 0 pants. I think she is just long in the body. i havent actualyl dressed her in any size 2's but just he little belly poking out sometimes makes me think that others might think i dont dress her very well......
-
Hi girls! Dont have time to catch up! You have all been so chatty :) Will pop back tonight and catch up:)
x
-
Jasmine is in size 1.....but half the time i dont look and she ends up in Chelsea's size 2's...they are big on her but still fit ok. She is long so size 0 went out the door ages ago!!
Both my girls share their clothes....Chelsea still fits into size 1....but i buy 2 for her now....its good they can share!
-
Thanks Pish - I notice you are TTC#2 very soon. How exciting! Do you have an idea of when, or just going with the flow? Caden is in size 1 at the moment and will probably be for a while yet. His height is around 78cm which tends to go in fits and starts, whereas his weight, 12 kg follows the 75th percentile perfectly. LOL about feeling guilty with T in creche. It is easier if you think it is actually good for them to be exposed to other kids.
Well, so far my week is s#@t! Today was such a debacle that I really should have stayed home in bed. It was a "Murphy" day, as in Murphy's law, where if it could have gone wrong, it did! From my laptop on the blink to mobile phone not charged and car charger broken, to cancelled and re-scheduled meetings without telling me (I looked like an idiot) to just generally running late and making a fool of myself with my own time mis-management . Oh well, the perks of a part time job!
I hope everyone is having a better week!
-
Tiff - L is in Size 0 for most things tho it is sometimes hard getting a t-shirt over his head. He does wear a few 00 shorts but they need to have the button undone. Haven't measured him for a while but at 12months he was 50th percentile for weight and between 60th and 70th for length.
Good for you going to an exercise class. Sounds like Tiera had a good time. As for daycare - I honestly believe it is good for children to be exposed to different carers and to other children. L learns so much from watching the other kids. The occassional day in there would probably be good for both of you.
Speaking of daycare - L slept on the mat today. The carer said she had to pat him a bit to get him to sleep but he got there and slept for over 2 hours. So proud.
Kim - your girls will be sharing clothes and then fighting over them for many years to come......
Another cute L story. DH has trained L to put his dirty clothes in the laundry hamper. He will walk from whatever room he is in at the time into our bedroom and put the item into the hamper. He has also been putting shoes and other things on the floor in the hamper but he does it on purpose. Lets hope in 10 years time he still knows how to put his dirty clothes in the wash.

Hi everyone
Will try and reply to everything I've read. I have been pretty busy lately and my internet connection has been so carp that I haven't been able to tolerate being on here!
Firstly, hope everyone had a good Australia Day! We didn't do much...DH was crippled (decided that playing cricket opposite a ball machine pumping out balls at 150kph would be a good idea!) Charlie....(the dog) won at two shows over the weekend and was depressed coz he wasn't getting attention! and Max....well....he has had temperatures and a snuffly nose (getting 2 teeth). Me...who's that!
Hope everyone has fun on the 7th at your meet up! Spare a thought for the Waussies! DragonB where in Perth are you? Maybe we should meet up too! Are you on facebook?
HOpe all the preggo bellies are going well....Mo who pops first, you or Ange!? Hope she is going well, even though she thinks we are boring! Oh and Mo I think the tattoo thing is strange too! It seems like a bit TOO much love, in the wrong spot!
Saffi Glad to hear L went well in the big kids room at DC and I'm sure he'll get used to the mat in no time! Max hates his cot so maybe I should give a mat a go! Also, I've got Max into tidying up too, he also helps me put the washing from the line in the basket, puts the pegs away and he holds the dustpan while I sweep...it's sweet!!!
Pish YAY for the gym huh! At least Tiera liked the creche! When I took M I ran off before he noticed me leave, then when I got back he was just sitting on some poor woman! It looked like she'd been able to move! Nothing helped him! I go again tomorrow so I hope it's a bit better! I'm doing it for him to get him used to other situations coz he's a bit of a sensitive little guy and he doesn't like really full on things! Plus I wanna get rid of my back boobs once and for all so he's going to have to deal with it! Oh ..... and Max is in size 1....some things size 2.... depends on brand :)
Well....Max still isn't walking, although he's walking around holding only 1 of my hands now. He wants to do it all the time too which is a bit annoying for me sometimes. He doesn't stand up without holding on to anything either, but he can just stand there if I put him on his feet. He's so cautious! A little person I'm going to have to be gentle with I think.
Also, a breakthrough...he's FINALLY stopped breastfeeding! Woo HOoooooo! I got him down to 1 a night and did that for a week, then this week I cut them out totally. He wakes up and points at them (co-sleeper!) and I just tell him NO and he lies back down with a bit of a cuddle! At first he would chuck a serious wobbly but he knows now! He will have a drink of water instead which I'm so happy about. Now my next thing is to get him into his own bed!
That leads me to my question for you all...when will you put your littlies into a bed.....Max rolls around a lot when he's in bed with me (DH is in our bed, and I'm in the spare room with Max....good contraception!) so I think that is maybe why he wakes up in his cot so much, coz he crashes around and there isn't enough room. I am thinking about maybe getting a bed with a rail (My mum had to do the same with me) but am not sure. Also, when I'm putting him down in his cot, he gets clued on as soon as the gravity changes and clings onto me...but when I put him down on the bed, he rolls over and crashes out! I knew I wanted to stop BFing before doing the bed thing....what are everyone's thoughts on this.
Well I think I've talked enough. Hello to anyone I've missed! xx
-
Hi Minimax - I am in Freo but am more than happy to travel. After all, I work in Pinjarra so do a fair bit of travel myself! WTG on the bfing. I don't know about you, but I was happy but also felt a bit sad for a while. Be gentle on yourself if you feel a bit lost.
-
Julia Ange should pop 1st, there is exactly 2 weeks between us. So we could end up going around the same time like we did with Lulu & Maddi :)
WTG Charlie on the winning the shows, you must be so proud of him.
Sorry no help with the co-sleeping issue i'm still trying to get Maddi into her cot.
DB-Sounds like a very stressful day at work, hope your next day goes better :)
Saffi-Glad L is settling in fine & very cute with story about the clothes.
Maddi does something similar when your cleaning up after her.
How are all the Melb girls & toddlers coping with this heat?
-
Hey all! Uggh, it's so hot here! It's gonna be 43 degrees today and tomorrow, we are going stir crazy being kept inside all day! Luckily we have aircon which makes life more bareable, I wouldn't be staying here today if we didn't have it.
I'm off to the chiro this morning. She did such a great job last time, my lower back has been the best it's been in a long time :)
Oh and K is walking more than crawling now, so I guess we can say he is officially walking! He is walking less "zombie"-like now LOL! He still crawls outside though, I think he feels safer because it's not an even surface.
Mo - I really, really, really feel for you in this heat! Do you have aircon?
Julia - It might be worth trying Max in a bed? You could try a toddler bed that is low to the ground to start with. Joel hated his cot too, but took to his toddler bed without an issue. K only just started standing up without holding onto anything last week, he literally just started doing it out of the blue! I reckon Max will do the same.
Saffi - Yay for L sleeping on the mat! And putting clothes in the hamper is too cute! K keeps putting my thongs in our front-loader .
Dragonbub - Yuck, what an awful start to the week! It can only get better from here!!
Kim - How's the new man in your life going?
Amber - Welcome back, we missed you!
Rebecca - Caitlyn sounds like she is going to be lovely and tall.
Tiff - Good girl for going to the gym! K is in size 1 atm, a handful of size 0's still fit, but they seem big sizes. I look forward to our meet up!
Hi to everyone else! Hope you all stay cool today!!
-
Mo - Wow Maddi is tall!
Rebecca - Ireally hate humidity!!! Well to be quite honest I can't breathe at all when its humid... Asthma! I would never cope up there lol at least its not too hot there then.
Dragon bub - We have just started TTC... as of last night hehehe Its a bit exciting, but I know it may take a while which I really dont mind when ever it happens I'll be ready. :D I do think its good for Tiera. I saw Saffi's posts about L at d/c moving up to the toddler room and sleeping on themat, eating together, etc and I thought I really have to let go a bit and get her into those situations... Its not always just going to be us. As for work - You poor thing. I know what those days are like, theres nothing worse! I hope today was better for you.
Saffi - YAY for L sleeping on a mat.... What a good boy! That is just fantastic, I'd be proud too! He seems to be adjusting well to the change is such a short time. I do agree that its good that they get use to different people and carers.
Julia - I saw your comment of facebook RE Creche! lol Tiera is such a social butterfly and just loves new and different experiences, which I am greatful for. Sometimes I wish she was a bit more sensitive, she's a bit of a rough nutt!! hahaha As for a bed... I didn't think Tiera would be ready for a bed by the time she turned two (If we get pg straight away bub will be due approx 2 weeks after her 2 b'day), but she has started trying to climb out of her cot, unsuccessfully so far, but I'm sure in time she'll get there. She does thrash about a lot in her cot, but she's been in it since the day she came home from hossy so I just think she has some kind of sense of the bars?! Hmmm I dunno.. My friend has a bub T's age and has a bub due in March and her little man is going into a bed with a rail. The extra room may just be what Max needs :) Congrats on the dog shows! That is fantastic.. I do think your dog is gorgeous (facebook!) but geez it must be hard work keeping that coat clean and untangled! :D
Trish - Ahhhhh thats horrible weather! I hope its a little cooler when we're there :D Wooo Hooo for K... He'll be walking full time before you know it.
I'm a bit sore after th gym yesterday! hahaha Its all good, once I'm into the swing of things I'll barely feel it. Tiera has been waking through the night for the fast 4 nights or so last night she was really upset, she had a dirty bum which I changed but she was still very upset of a while. She was so hot so a layed her on top of our bed under the fan and it didn't take her long to dose off, so I out her back to bed... Then was up again at 3:45am this time I think she was just having a sook. I don't like putting her in bed with us cuz it only takes her one or two nights to get use to it, even though I always take her back to her own bed just before or just after she's dozed back off. It maybe her teeth so thats why I continue to go in there and let her come into bed with us... Its just so hard to know sometimes! :)
I maybe heading back down to SYD this arvo, just have to see how long DH is going away for. Anyways I'm making a baked dinner for luch today!!! lol I pulled out a roast for dinner last night, but not long after that I pulled out other meat as I completely forgot about the roast! Saw it in the fridge last night so a big luch will be good for Josh as he wont be eating proberly for the next few nights as he'll be camping.
Anyways I think this post is far too big so I'm shutting up now! hahaha I hope all have a great day
-
Trish i feel like I'm gonna die in this heat lol & with Maddi teething she is just being so clingy.
She is always wanting cuddles & she has slight temp because of the teething so she's just like hot water bottle.
Yes we got an air con thank goodness, ended up putting it at 10am this morning because it was already 35 degrees inside.
That's great about K, bet he is such much happier now.
How are you feeling with this pregnancy? Do you think you'll have another boy?
Tiff Yes she is, people always think she is older than she is.
A roast lunch sounds so nice & Fingers crossed you get a positive very quickly :)
-
Julia - I think we'll wait until the baby is ready to go into the cot before we move L into a bed. L was in his basinette for the first 3 - 4 months so hopefully we should be able to get the same out of #2. L's cot is also a toddler bed - not that he will be able to use it as #2 will be in it. We do have a trundle bed that when folded is close to the ground so I think that would do. Saves having to buy another bed, when L will only be going into the trundle bed anyway.
Melb girls - really feel for you with the heat. Hope you're all coping. What's betting after this heat wave there will be a stretch of days around 20degrees!
Anyway dinner has arrived (in the form of hamburgers from the shop next door so I am off).
-
Wow, 43 degrees in Melbourne! No wonder you are all going stir crazy at home. It is hot here, but lately it has been overcast and it gets up to 30 but takes all day. At least it is not too hot, but uncomfortable just the same cos you have to dress for all seasons.
Pish - how exciting on TTC! Will DH be going away for a while? My gf in my mothers group was TTC and her hubby travels a bit. The month she got BFP was the month she was sure he wasn't there, LOL.
Trish - glad to hear the chiro went well last time, fingers crossed for this time. I have been taking Caden there since this time last year and am sure it has helped his posture and sleeping.
Everyone else - have a great Friday tomorrow!
-
Wow you can all talk ;)
Hope all the southern girls are not too hot:( Its actually quite cool here, has been raining on and off so we have your weather lol!
We had a lovely weekend at the dam, DH had a great birthday. We skiied morning and arvo so i was pretty sore on tuesday! Myles slept really well too, we wore him out alot! Just let him go feral, like no nappy and running wild lol! He is sleeping in our bed at the moment but only seems to stir once so its getting us more sleep! yipee!
Am catching up with Becky tomorrow looking forward to watching the kids get to know eachother!
hmm dont think i have any other news, would do personals but there is so much to ctach up on i will just try to stay in the loop!
Hope your keeping cool! xxx
-
Hi everyone
I am melting here... it is so hot! We just got back from the beach, it was much cooler there, there were so many people but Tahlia didnt want to go in the water.. I dont blame her though.. it was freezing!
Tiff - Tahlia is also in a size 1... most 0's are too short for her now.. they are a few bigger 0's that she still fits into though
Saffi - glad to hear your little man is sleeping on the mat at daycare! I've been looking at a few centres around here for when I return to work, and when one of the ladies told me they slept on mats I must have had a surprised look on my face, cause she read my mind by saying 'you'd be surprised what they do when they are here, cause they want to be like the other kids'
Julia - a friend of mine was expecting no 2 when no 1 was really young, so she moved no 1 into a bed just after his 1st birthday and he coped fine. Another friend moved her DD into as cot at around 18 months and found it hard, cause her DD kept getting out of bed in the middle of the night and coming into their room, so I guess every child copes differently!
Trish - yay on K officially walking!
Saffi - its forecast to be 43 again tomorrow, then 35 on Saturday and then low 30's until next Thursday, so I dont think we'll be seeing 20 degrees for a while! Although after the last few days, we will probably like it being low 30's!
Anyway, I am going to go and watch tv, cause thats where our split system air con is!
See ya!
-
Saffi - Oh wow thats great that L slept on the mat!!! I have got Chel on the waiting list for 1 day a week (even though its proba 3-4 month wait), and I was worried about the sleeping thing! I hope she would be as good on a mat although I doubt it! How often does L go to Daycare again?
Amber - YAY for catching up tomorrow! It has been a while since Myles and Chel have seen each other hey? LOL. Will be great to see how much they have grown!
Kellie - Oh I feel for ya in the hot weather! I used to live in Adelaide so I know what the heat waves can be like! I hope it cools down for you soon! And all you other southern ladies too!!!
Mo and all you pregnant ladies it must be extra hard on you with all this heat!! I hope your not doing anything but staying indoors and relaxing!!!
Another question for you pregnant ones - Do any of you have a 'feeling' on the sex yet??
Ok all! Have a good night! Be back soon!
-
Hey Melb gals and Pish - I just remembered that we have swimming on Saturday mornings at 10.30, so I probably wont be able to get to the meetup till around 12 - 12.30? Is that ok?
-
Gah! I just wrote a massive post and it got eaten ! I usually copy before I hit post, but forgot this time and wouldn't you know it, the only time I actually needed to copy it and I didn't! Normally I can hit "back" and retrieve my post, but it didn't work this time! :computer:
Anyways...
Feeling a bit tired and cr@ppy today, I think the heat is taking it's toll on me. Poor Joel woke up this morning with bites all over him. They then turned to massive welts all over his tummy and back. I took him to the Dr this morning who told me to give him Clarantyne (sp?) and I've been lathering him in bite cream. I have no idea what has bitten him, but he seems very allergic to it.
Kellie - That time suits us :). I hope the weather isn't as hot as it is today though!
Becky - Have fun catching up with Amber! I wish I could tag along!! I have no idea of the gender of this bub. I suppose statistically it's likely to be another boy, but you just never know, I'm hopeless with intuition LOL! If it's a girl then DH had better hide my credit card hee hee!
Amber - Glad you had a great time away! I love the new ticker pick of Myles, so cute :D.
Dragonbub - Chiros are great aren't they?! I have taken both my boys to a paediatric chiro and he has worked wonders with them! Your Perth weather sounds so lovely atm. I was born there (moved to Melb when I was 3 1/2) and I still miss the weather! We used to fly over and visit rellies in Winter and come back to Melbourne with tans!
Saffi - ATM I could only wish the temperature would drop so much! You're right about Melbourne weather though .
Mo - Poor you in this heat and with a teething bub :(. I have been feeling OK, my all day and night indigestion and heartburn is passing thank goodness, it was making it so hard for me to sleep and I felt so yuck all the time. I haven't had m/s this time around which is a bonus!
Tiff - Mmmmm....roast *drool*...I hope Tiera slept better for you last night!
Hi to everyone else!!
-
Morning ladies
I'm down in SYD at mum's, decided to come down after all. Its pretty hot, but not nearly as hot os Melb n Adelaide... You poor people!
I'm so sorry for the short msg and no personals, will be back as soon as I can I'll be back
Melb ladies - Anytime suits me, lunch time? When ever :D
Have a great day all
-
Trish - bummer about the welts. Caden woke up once with a red rash all over one side, just like sunburn, except he wasn't burnt and it didn't seem to bother him. I found a tiny ant in his pjs so I think it was that. I hope Joel feels ok? It is hard when they can't tell you what is wrong. Funny about you being born here, I was born in Melbourne and came over here when I was about 5. I do love it here, the weather is lovely, but is the third windiest city in the world, which is a bit of a nuisance!
Pish - good afternoon!
Everyone else, have a great weekend! Especially those PG - stay cool and keep your feet up!
-
Becky - I'm hoping for a girl. My mum thinks I'm having a girl and my FIL thinks I'm having a boy and both say they're never wrong. This time one of them is going to (he he). Hopefully we'll find out on Monday when I go in for the 12 week scan.
L goes to daycare 4 days so he knows and remembers the routine etc. Will Chels go to the same place Liam goes to?
-
Saffi sending you lots of girl vibes! :)
Well I think we will start ttc #2 now  i am a lil nervous but excited at the same time!
Will keep you updated, well not TOO updated lol :)
-
You go girl.....good luck TTC Amber....Oh the days of trying are over for me :(
Saffi sending you my spare girly vibes
Woohoooo we have molars FINALLY cutting :)
Shame Jasmine has crappy skin again though, the heat has not done her any favours at all.
I got a nice 10.45am sleep in today...MIL is down and she watched the girls for me while i slept, Mr Z slept from 7am til 11am as well so was a bonus!
Jas's latest phase is round and round the garden and high 5's
-
Saffi - Yeah Chels would go to the same place.... I just got told today actually that Fridays are free as of next week.... :( I was expecting another few months! I dont know if Im ready yet!!! I have the weekend to decide but ahhh!! DOnt know how she would go sleeping on a mat.
WOW can you find out the sex at 12 weeks? That is so exciting then!! I bet you cannot wait!! Started thinking about names yet?

How are all you ladies in VIC and SA doing?? Here in Mackay it hasn't stopped raining for 10 days....well it has stopped but everyday has been overcast with showers!! Thursday night the wind was that day that the remote garage door buckled inwards!! Landlord wasn't happy but it was my fault!! SENDING YOU ALL RAIN VIBES!!
TRISH - Hope ur feeling abit better!! When do you go for your next scan??
NERIDA - Good luck for your scan on monday!!
SENDING YOU BOTH GIRL VIBES!!!
AMBER - Welcome back to the world of TTCing!! Hope it is short for you. Myles little bum looks so cute!!
MO - I hope your coping abit better in the heat and that Maddi isn't as clingy for you today!!
KIM - The sleep in would make you feel like a new women!! I remember one day when rhys was about a month old, it twas real hot in brisbane and all he did was drink and drink and drink!! Drained me physically so bad....all I did was cry!! Lol....I hated it!!
AFM - Rhys has started learning all his body parts....tummy, hair, tounge, toes, doodle, and has picked up bottom in the past two days. When you ask him where his toes are though, he bends in half and puts his head to the ground and points to his toes, it is the funniest thing!! And he has started putting things into the bin, so now I am constantly checking what is in there.
That is all I can remember for now!! To those I missed....HI!! Hope you all have a great weekend and that is all cools down for you! Take care...x

Hello All,
Amber - good luck TTC hun, sending lots of baby vibes your way!
Looks like I might be the only one left not TTCing/pg/just given birth :( Oh well, looks like I will only be waiting til October anyway to TTC#2 but some of you will already have new bubbas by then.
Hot here today and Caden has his eye teeth coming in which is making him EXTREMELY grumpy. He was up from 2am to 4am this morning and very grizzly, nothing I did would help him. It is far worse than the molars that really didn't seem to bother him too much, other than the odd grizzle at night :wall:.
I hope everyone is keeping cool, calm and collected,
