Hi Trish, how have you been? How are your gorgeous boys going? Grats on number 3, going to have a big family or is number 3 the last of the mini's? I'm hoping I don't ovulate properly so that it is something easy to fix, don't want to go down the IVF path, too expensive and invasive for my liking, don't want quaduplits either! What have you been upto?
Dragonbub- I'm doing B Social Work through CSU, was originally doing psych but realised I don't like research and I don't think I could cope with clinical psych 24/7 I'd probably murder someone :P lol jks jks, really want to work with DoCs hopefully bettering and saving kidlets lives :) and trying not to pummel deadbleep parentals lol.
The position was part time, but my boss made it fulltime, now rush is over going to try and push for 4 days so I actually get a day to myself to blink! Try to have a shower I have 3 cats, DP and Ryan in there within 5 minutes, go to the loo and I have the cats and Ryan at the door! Arg! lol
Grats on being near the end, I bet it must feel great knowing it is nearly over :). I got about 6 years PT for uni but as I got a job I don't care how long it takes me to finish, if I didn't have a job I'd push to get it finished quick. I'm lucky I sort of came in to the job with attitude :P lol, in the way that my boss doesn't try and bung me around or ask more of me than I was originally expected to give, and the second in command doesn't try and fob work off on to me after I bit his head off once when he tried :D so the pecking order is established and works in my favor for uni work wise should be able to do some while I'm there if its really dead.
Anyways I'm procrastinating because I don't feel tired but I know I have to go to bed, so I will leave my gibberish here and go to bed, maybe read a textbook (ha yeah right). good night ladies, sleep well, hope everyones kidlets are good tonight!

Basically couldn't keep any food down Friday morning, by 3pm i couldn't keep any fluids so i call the hospital at 7pm saying that i can't keep anything down & Cookie isn't moving much.
They ask me to come so they can check us over, I get there & they hook up the CTG Cookie's heart rate is borderline staying in the 170's the whole time with very little movement, so they hook me up to the the drip & leave the CTG on for an hour hoping to see an improvement,
An hour later still no improvement so i ask to have a shower.
I almost pass out after the shower so i tell the nurse they hook me back quickly & Cookie's HR is 210 & wont drop below 205. They start pumping the saline me through me quickly & 40mins later her HR drops into the high 190's still no real movement from her & the nurse are starting to worry. OB says keep me hooked up to the CTG, do regular Obs & keep pumping saline through me.
Anyways by 1am her HR finally drops into the 170's again & by 2:30am we can see some more movement from her and her HR is in the 160's & we can finally come off the CTG.
The whole time that was happening i vomited up close to 3 liters of fluid & was having contractions 5mins apart(which I'm thankful died down once she got better).
On a good note I'm 3cms dilated & they can feel Cookie's head & the membranes so at least all that pre-labor has done something.
-
OMG Mo! Glad to hear Cookies hb came back down! What does that mean for you now? Do you have to have any more CTG monitoring?
-
OMG Mo how scary for you, what happens now? Are they going to get her out or see how you go? *comfort hugs*
-
For the moment i just have to keep a close eye on her movements, drink plenty of fluids & if i start feeling ill again then I'll most likely go back in for more monitoring.
I'm starting to feel better today, still can't drink much without wanting to be sick & can only eat paddle pops & banana's. Cookie seems happy her last CTG was good & the nurses are confident that once i fell better I'll go into labor naturally so hopefully she'll be out this week :)
-
Oh Mo :hug: Wish I was closer hun! Please keep us posted on how you and cookie are! Sending you lots of postive energy! xxxx
-
Mo, you poor thing, I would have been terrified
You certainly are doing it tough. I hope you're better asap and that Cookie can then make her entrace.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
-
I've resigned to the fact that it may be another 4 long weeks till she graces us with her appearance, guess there is not a lot i can do about it.
Still feeling crappy & i have to force myself to eat & drink because i don't want to end back up in hospital, i miss Maddi way too much when I'm in there.
Thanks for all the hugs ladies ;)
-
Mo- what a terrible and scary thing to go through. Is this a labour related thing? Do you think they may induce?
Celtic - good to hear from you and everything is going well.
Anyway, been lurking for a while. Sorry for not posting, been very slack.
Nothing much happening here. Bubs is moving more and L is getting more independent. Now when I drop him off at daycare he's starting to go over to his mates straight away and starts playing and doesn't even notice when I go. The other day was so cute. He went up to friends to let them know he was there, came over to me, gave my leg a hug and then went off and played. Guess I've been told! My little boy is growing up.
Sorry for the lack of personals, but hoping all those who are pg are well, all those who are trying get there soon, and all those not trying are all happy and well.
I'll try to be in more.

Hi everyone
Like Saffi, I have been in and out briefly but not posted! Been so busy with shows recently....Charlie won twice at a big show over here so we are excited about that :) As you can imagine with all that hair it is quite a time consuming process.
Trish Welcome back from your holiday!!
Mo I really hope Cookie shows her face soon. What an awful thing for you to go through. If it were me I would be freaking out and wanting them to get her out ASAP! She wants to be baked to perfection but maybe she wants the heat turned down in the oven!
Celtic Do you ever get YOU time??! You do so much, I sure couldn't do that!
Saffi I look forward to the day Max decides it's OK to leave my side and venture even a metre away from me!
On that...I've got the gym tomorrow I wonder how he'll go!! He still hates it with a passion and the other day they had to come and get me coz they thought he was going to throw up he was in such a state! SIIIGGHHHHHHH!!!
AFM...AF hasn't arrived yet....*gulp*
Hi to anyone else....Love to all!
-
Dr's think it's because i have a virus & Cookie just wasn't coping well, So very doubtful that they'll induce tho it would be nice.
I see my OB tomorrow guess I'll find out what he thinks, Cookie is moving more now which is a good sign.
Julia how can you not have tested already??? It would be driving me crazy lol.
Congrats to Charlie, are you going to miss doing all the dog shows when you move?
Saffi how cute, Maddi is also miss independent kinda sad to see them grow up so quickly.
That's great your feeling the baby move now.
Amber, Trish, Willow & any other pregnant ladies i hope your all feeling well, esp you Amber hope you don't get m/s.
Everyone else hope your all well as-well :)

Hi All,
sorry i have been MIA for a while, i've just caught up on the last weeks news.
Amber i cant remember if i officially congratulated you in here so CONGRATULATIONS! bummer your not feeling too good, were you sick with Myles?
Mo- wow you've been going through a lot the last few weeks. Maddi was about 2wks early wasnt she? so if this bub follows in her sisters foot steps you must be nearing the end, I hope she doesn't make you wait 4 more weeks to meet her.
Saffi- wow i blink and your almost half way!!
Willow- wow you are now past half way!! how are you feeling?
Trish- glad you had a good holiday, you guys been thinking of names for bub?
Julia- how long till singapore?? Are your AF's usually long or diff or are they text book?!
Ange- you must be bursting at the seams now and keen to meet your little bub, all the best for the labour & birth!
Celtic- i hope you get that BFP real soon!!
us: Nixon is now TT! about 8 days ago he started doing wee's in the toilet or potty and we havent turned back! so far he has only done 1 poo in the loo, the rest are accidents or waits until we've put him to bed with a nappy on then he comes out and says he done a poo. He had his first day at preschool on friday in undies and had no accidents!! i packed like 4 sets of undies etc and was so excited to see he was still in what he went in that morning.
Tyron is charging along. he has actually done 2 wees in the toilet himself! with all the toileting he is very keen to sit on there 2, well twice he went which was very cute! the other day he looked out the window and said "dada's boat" which i was amazed with and putting 2 different words together!
i havent had his hair cut yet, its getting long but i love it so much i dont want it cut. ive trimmed the front out of his eyes but thats all he had had.
I've been super busy with tupperware its all coming together which is great.
anyway i hope everyone is well and for the bubs that are ready to make a grand entrance be nice to mummy:D

AF has landed....blergh!
BBL
-
Quickie here...
Mini - bummer hun! Bring on Singapore huh?
Mo - wow! Hopefully cookie will make an appearance for you sooner rather than later, and the nasty bugs stay away.
Nickers - WTG on the toilet training
Celtic - yeah I am not too fussed about it taking longer as I am doing a job that I love and want to progress further. If uni takes a back seat for a while I am ok with that. I just love going to classses and working on assignments (mad I know).
AS for us, Caden has had a virus the last few days, running temps of 39+. I have some antibios for him and panadol and lots of cuddles. He is on the mend, but was a bit scared for a while there when I kissed his forehead and my lips burned :(.
Hello to all you UTD ladies, big hugs!
Hi to everyone else, especially those TTC.
-
Julia bummer about AF :(
Nic Congrats to Nix on the TT.
DB it's horrible when they get sick & even worse when they temps wont come down. Glad Caden is on the mend tho.
AFM-Saw the OB & Cookie's HB was good, still gotta keep a close eye of her movements. I've got to start eating ice chips if i can't drink a lot of water.
Kinda hoping Cookie stays puts till i feel better, i can't even imagine trying to go through labor feeling the way i do & the last thing i want to do is make her sick as soon as she is born.
Maddi is well, she has this thing of trying to dress herself now, she kinda has the right idea until she try's to put the t-shirts on over her legs lol
-
hi everyone
just a quickie from me, poor little Tahlia most likely has chicken pox. The doc took a swab to confirm but her reckons it is. and i had to have a blood test to see if i had it as a child, and if not, then I have to have the immunisation for it.
Mo - glad to hear all is ok with Cookie, sending some more labour vibes!
-
Trinity - hang in there hun! Hope this bug gives you a break soon so you can get some rest before Cookie arrives.
Kellie - Chickenpox huh? I am going to get the immuse for Caden at 18 months. Fingers crossed he doesn't catch it until then.
As for us, Caden is on the mend. He has a heat rash that apparently comes after a high temp, called rosea or rosella or something? Harmless anyway. He is much better, but not cuddly anymore :( I guess there are some perks to having a sick bub, the snuggles were way nice ;)
Gotta go study, seeyas soon,
-
Kellie - poor Tahlia! If it does end up being CP does that mean she won't have to have the vac? She was so close to being eligible for the vac too.
Mo - how ya feeling?
Trish - are you about? How are you going?
Nic - I can hardly believe it myself. Seems like I have ben pg forever already.
Amber - how are you going?
Julia - oh well!
DB - you can take the superwomen cape off! I've learnt that somethings just have to give and if that means the floors don't get done its because there are other things more important. Besides with an active toddler they get dirty just as quickly.
Hi to everyone I've missed.
