We went & saw Ange today. So Maddi spent the day with her Aunty & was a total angel for her. How typical! At least she behaved herself i guess.
Saskia is such a little cutie, Lulu is as gorgeous as always & Ange is looking really good.
Julia hope you & Max get better soon.
DB Maddi is also saying so many more words, It's amazing how quickly they pick them up.
-
Mo - they are always angels for other people ... when you work out why it works like that let me know?!
[B]Julia[B] - I hope that Max has picked up for you ... I hate it when they are vomiting. Poor little helpless things!
Dragon - like you we have a very vocal 18 month old as well, we are a bit amazed at the things she is saying at the moment. She is very big on her please's and thankyou's and ta's! At the moment her new thing in the morning when I get her up is ... "wanna talk to pa" .... soooooooo cute!
Trish - have you got through the washing, drying and putting away from your trip yet? Now its wet, its airer time!
No real news here, apart from the fact that I have had no sleep last night. Feeling pretty good on all accounts, but we have put Tay back in her room and Mia is alone in hers again. Our trial to get the girls sleeping better through the night come crashing down last night, when we had two hysterical girls at 3am. We will see how they go tonight, back to their normal beds and sleeping arrangements! We felt like it was 2 soon to put Tay into a bed, but Mia was in a bed at 18 months and was really ready and we were willing to try anything to stop Mia from not wanting to go to bed and Tay waking at 4am. It did work initially, but slowly unravelled. Tay is more of a baby if that makes sense and still seems 2 little 2 be in a bed.
Anyway, i better go. I have one load of washing to go and then i need to wash some shoes!

Took Cookie to the Dr's because her belly button looks infected & the Dr said she has a Umbilical hernia. Gonna ask the MCHN what she thinks on Saturday as the Dr (not our usual one) didn't know anything about babies. Poor Cookie keeps crying likes she's in pain & there is nothing i can do for her.
-
Mo - sorry to hear Cookie is in pain and may have a hernia. Hopefully you'll get a definititve answer soon.
Hey Rebecca - I was wondering how you and Miss C were getting on. Sounds like C is very talkative (LOL on the bad word! It happens!). Are you still moving to Toowoomba?
How's everyone doing?
L had a three hour sleep this afternoon. We have mother's group in the morning and he is so tired afterwards that he sleeps for most of the afternoon and I get to rest or do whatever. Gotta love that!
We went out for dinner tonight and L was copying us in reading the menu. I love how at this age they absorb everything.
Oh! We have a Thomas and Friends addict. He will bring the TV remote control to us to tell us to turn it on. He dances away to the music and "uh ohs" when the trains do something wrong. So cute.
-
A day without posts ... hmmm ... I hope everyone is ok! xx
-
Just busy.........
Got a busy day ahead and I don't think L is going to cooperate and sleep or watch TV and let me get on with it.
Have a good day everyone and I'll BBL when I have some more time to be chatty.

Cookie weighs 4.1kg & is 52.5 cms long.
Health nurse can't figure out why Cookie is in pain either, she said it may be reflux so to try some mylanta & we did notice her left arm doesn't go as high as her right so she suggested a visit to the Chiro. She does have a hernia but said it should go away by it self.
-
Aww Mo - Poor Cookie.......its horrible when the littlies are in pain.....sooo hard to figure out a solution!! I hope things impriove soon!!
Not a lot happening on this end of things....Caitlyn finally cut another bottom tooth in teh front so now instead of 2 little tombstones...she has 2.5!! quite cute.
Saffi Yes we are still hoping to move to Toowoomba but Wayne doesnt want to move until he has a job there - understandable! so we are just applyng everytime we see one advertised and hoping for the best. he had an interview last week and he was positive that he was going to get it but.....no show.....i think one of his referee's might have said something not so nice - i have no idea why Wayne used him as one.......men!!
Anyway - am working my backside off again. Am exhausted - Wayne is in Darwin at the moment and i am not sleeping very well - of course Caitlyn is FINALY sleeping thrugh the night.......thinking about truying her in a bed but will wait and see!
had better get back to work - hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!
-
Been busy too....Charlie in another show on the weekend (and this coming weekend) and I'm babysitting my sisters dog at the moment too AND DH is away in Singapore again for a week....I am strong...I am WOMAN!
Max has been really good lately....he cut 4 molars in the space of a week and a half and has been pretty good about it. I say it's the Baltic Amber....! Kellie how are you finding it?
Mo poor Cookie. I hope things get better for her soon. My neighbour has a boy with BAD reflux...she waited so long to get him medicated and it got really bad! It's good that you know about it now, but maybe take her to the doc if you think it's a bit much for her (and you!). It burns them (so I'm told!) so if it is that, no wonder she is in pain! Good Luck
Hi everyone else.....must go, Max is calling me from his highchair! Probably wants yet ANOTHER piece of toast!
xo
-
Mo - hope Cookie is feeling better real soon! It's so hard when they don't feel good
Julia - Tahlia just cut another bottom tooth and I didnt even have to give her panadol, I love the baltic amber! How many teeth does everyones bubs have now? Tahlia has 4 at the top, 3 at the bottom and 4 at the back (are these the eye teeth?? - she wont really let me look so I dont know!)
Not much else new with us, I had a hens night on the weekend, it was so much fun having a girls night out. I even got to sleep in yesterday till midday! I cant remember the last time I did that!
Hope everyone else is well!
-
Maxy has 4 bottoms, 4 tops and 4 molars...no eye teeth yet! (they are the pointy ones in between the bottom's and the molars)
Gotta go....Max is being so funny so need to play with him!!! :)
-
Hey girls ... I think Tay is cutting teeth again, although it seems to be going on and on and we are not seeing anything pop through. She has the front 4 top and bottom, and 2 molars top and bottom. I thought it was eye teeth we are waiting on, but reading your posts maybe she is going to cut more molars before the eye teeth come through? I just wish they would make an appearance sometime soon. We are sooooooooooooo sleep deprived, as Tay has decided she wont just go down without being helf anymore, and she is such a light sleeper that any noise wakes her. Last night we had Mia wake just before midnight and we couldn't settle her and she woke Tay. So we had both up crying, we put Mia in our bed in hopes she would settle and I held Tay. We tried to put her down twice and she wasn't having a bar of it. Bruno and I look like our eyes are hanging out of our heads today!
Sorry its a ME ME ME post today!
Better news, we went to the doctors today and we are not going on fertility meds at this stage. Since I got my af back last month, my doctor wants to see if I get it this month (due end of the month). She said if that happens, then there is no point in putting me on chlomid as it only helps with ovulation and I would be ovulating anyway! So that is a relief. So we have 4 months and if nothing happens ... then she will re-evaluate the situation!
Anyway I had better go. My house really looks like a bomb has hit it and I want to make it look like I have done some housework today before my DH gets home! HAHA
-
Julia - I think I meant molars... all those teeth names confuse me! She has a gap between her front ones and the ones she has.... the eye teeth should be directly next to the bottoms... is that right?
-
Maddi has 4 top, 4 bottom, 4 molars & 2 K'9's we are cutting another 2 atm.
Loving the necklace Mj hasn't needed any panadol & she hasn't been any crankier than normal either.
Cookie is doing better, i'm being really careful of shoulder & she doesn't cry as much now.
Julia are you going to miss doing all the Dog shows when you move? You are a strong woman.
Kellie Yay for sleeping in, I would guess it's been close to 2yrs since i got to sleep in.
Kaz good news about the the drugs. Fingers crossed you wont need them & your pregnant very soon.
-
oooo maybe I'm getting eye teeth mixed up with K9's...the pointy ones anyhoo....I think it usually goes...4 bottoms 4 tops, molars then pointy's after that....it leaves a nice chunky gap for them! I'm confuzzled now too!
ME ME ME away Kaz! HOpe you get some better sleep soon and yay about the drugs! You should get an amber necklace too....they seriously work!
Mo YES I will miss it....I do it more to spend time with my sister, but I just know I'm going to miss Charlie like crazy. I had some magnets and a keyring made the other day of him so I can stick it on my fridge up there....I'm dog madddddd!!
Gotta go....Max is trying to drag his spare car seat across the floor...without much luck, but anyhoo!
-
K9 & eye teeth are they same thing, I just like calling them K9's :)
gtg Cookie is awake. Typical one goes down & one wakes up.
-
We've got all the teeth, except the very back molars which I don't think come through until they are 3?
Kaz - really feel for you. Good to hear that you may not need the Clomid. L is a Clomid bub so it does work (for us anyway), but better if you don't have to take it. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Mo - poor Cookie.
Julia - yup, you're a mum, you can do anything!
Rebecca - same!
Trish, Amber, Amelia, Nikers - where are you?
Went to OB today. Bubs is doing well and she is a good size. She's been kicking me a bit and making her presence known. Feeling well but getting a bit tired. I am a lot bigger than I was this time last pg, but I don't think Easter and all that choccie has helped.
Anyway, might have a little nap on the lounge before heading off to bed.
-
Hello all,
Kaz - thats great news about the clomid. Fingers crossed you wont need any reevaluation in four months cos you will be UTD
Mo - poor cookie! Caden was diagnosed with reflux, but I think it ended up being a wonder week, cos after a while (and sleep training) he was much much better. Having said that, he was 6 weeks old by then and had been fine up to that point so it didn't make sense to me. Trust your instincts hun.
Saffi - you have a kicker huh? It is nice to be in communications before they are even born
Rebecca - sorry to hear you have been so busy. Hope you get some rest soon *hugs*
Kellie - Caden has 16 teeth in total, the full set. Hopefully we get a reprieve before those 2 year old molard kick in, although the eye teeth were much worse than the molars :wall:.
As for us, not much going on. Caden is learning about a word a day now, but no simple sentences just yet. He says "olive, sit, crocodile (you should hear this, it is SOOO cute), ear, hat, foot" and pretty much repeats most things if he can. He says "wower" for flower, but really tries hard, it is so special!
Ok, no more bragging . Have a great week everyone!
