Awww :grouphug:, you girls are all so sweet and lovely :D. I don't know what I'd do without ya all. You really do keep me sane when I feel isolated at home. Thanks to each of you for your lovely words back . EEK at being seen as the leader LOL! I think it's just cause I talk to much .
I'm glad you don't all think of me as a complete sop! (Well, I hope not anyway LOL ;))
Kellie - K has gone through phases where he gave me grief at bedtime for a few nights in a row, then went back to normal. Hopefully Tahlia will be the same!
Julia - have you tried the new Cheesymite (aka iSnack 2.0)? I wasn't a fan to begin with but now I love it.
I feel exactly the same way about L. I am truly amazed by him everyday and take great pride that I (ok we) created this beautiful amazing little person.
Kellie - fortunately we aren't having problems with L's bedtime. He chucks tantrums earlier in the evening but bedtime is usually ok.
Whinge time - I have the sorest back. I don't know how I aggravated it but it is so sore I can barely walk, can't sit for long and lying down is hard. Went to the physio yesterday and it is all taped up and have to go back tomorrow and do exercises at home. As you can imagine it is difficult not to lift either L or Immi. Anyway, thats not the whinge part. DH has come down with another cold and has spent the last 2 days at home. He is carrying on and moping around the house and everything is such a big effort. He's just had a nap on the couch meanwhile I am stuck in a chair with Immi frightened to get up in case I fall and drop her. How is it that women just have to get on with it while men expect that the world will stop for them? I am so frustrated I swear I'm going to abuse him soon.
Sorry for being such a downer. Anyway, got stuff to do. BBL
Ouch Saffi . You poor thing, that is the last thing you need! I hope your physio can work some magic and help you make a speedy recovery. And GRRRR to your DH! I HATE man flu! I "love" how they can just take a nap or rest when they aren't well...
I am sooo tired today for some reason and K is having a shocker of a day too. He is teething atm and has been at his crankiest today. He's really clumsy with it as well, he is tripping over things, hitting his head on things, the list goes on...I asked him this morning if he wanted to go back to bed and he said "OK!" lol! You know he's not feeling flash when he agrees to have a nap!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
I'm feeling a bit sad that I won't be spending the day with K for his second birthday :(. It is on a long weekend (Saturday) and DH is taking the boys and our BIL away camping. They were originally planning on leaving on Friday arvo (Joel's birthday ), but I put my foot down because that meant I wouldn't see either of the boys on their birthdays. Joel would be at kinder for the morning then straight off camping. I was so upset that I would miss seeing them on their special days, does that make me weird? I know they'd have fun camping, but they only have one birthday a year and I just want to be able to give them a birthday cuddle and watch them open their presents. Maybe that's selfish of me? Our BIL is upset that they have to leave on Saturday morning instead of Friday arvo, he doesn't seem to understand how I feel and told DH he'd get my sister to call me to try and change my mind! (Don't worry, she wouldn't do that ;)). I was willing to compromise which is why they are leaving on Saturday morning so I can at least celebrate with K over breakfast. I dunno, am I being selfish?
Trish- you have given me happy tears! that was such a lovely post on everyone and it really reflects how much of a great support network this is and everyone in here and the fact that everyone catches up, still chats, still gives advice cements how solid a group this is! oh yes my joys with Tyron and his feeding, it seems like not that much of a big deal now but boy that was the hardest time in my life, i thank you and everyone for giving me loads of support whilst trying to get through the feeding problems with him.
back to birthday's Happy Birthday Max!! for yesterday, hope you had a fun filled day!
Today was Harry's birthday (Claire) havent seen Claire around here for a while now, i hope he is having a fun day also!

toilet training has started here so i am sad that i wont be able to buy anymore nappies(to add to my already too big stash)
i have been teaching lochie jokes and he is such a charactor... one of them is that we ask him 'what does mummy and daddy say' and he replies 'NO NO NO NO NO!!!!' haha its so cute and funny and also..... TRUE... he gets into everything, its driving me nuts.... last night he threw pop corn all over the floor... ugh.... he is lucky he is so cute!!! sorry bout the me post...
trish, i would be sad if i couldnt see lachlan on his bday.
Happy 2nd birthday Tyron Hope you have a great day
Trish - There will be enough birthdays once he is an adult that you may (?) not see him so get them in while you can. L will be going to daycare on his actual birthday but I figure he'll be having more fun with his friends than me.
Nic - thanks for posting the list.
Happy Birthday Tyron! Have a great day!
Trish - I dont think that you are being selfish at all, of course you deserve to give your boys birthday cuddles and kisses on their actual birthdays and get to see them open their presents! Its our right as mums!
:happybirthday: to Maxxy and Tyron!!
Trish - You are the sweetest person. I too would have gone spare without you to talk to over the last 2 years...can you believe it's 2 years??!! I agree with the others - you're the glue that sticks us together and no matter how busy you are or what you have going on you ALWAYS post personals!! Which is more than I can say for the rest of us (well me and Amber anyway...HAHAHA! Love you Amber!!)
I don't think you're being silly at all re K's bday. Honestly, I wouldn't be letting them go at all so I think you're being pretty reasonable!
Nic - Not sure if you mean my Logan for the 2nd or if there's another Logan, but my DS is 1st November.
Amber - I haven't forgotten about the nappies babe, just have 2 sick big kids and dragging them tot he post office is hard work at the best of times. Hoping to get there tomorrow, but in any event will post them by the end of the week!
Saffi - You poor thing! Hope your back is better soon. I have a dodgy shoulder and every time I have a baby it starts playing up again. I think it's from all the lifting and carrying and feeding etc. It does settle down eventually but it's not fun atm.
Big hello to everyone else!
Is everyone having a party for the kids' bdays this year? L isn't having a party this year. We've agreed that the kids can have one every second year. So this year I'm just making a cake and we'll go to a play centre with a few close friends and my nieces I think. Not sure what cake to make him this year. He's into the Wiggles again atm so was thinking a wiggles cake but have NO idea how I'd do it!
As I said, both of my big kids are sick with a nasty cold. L has copped it the worst so far and is cutting a molar on top of that so has been a bit miserable this week.
We had some of our BB friends over for a play date and lunch yesterday which was fun but chaotic! I think there were about 12 kids here! I was so proud of my big boy who asked to have a sleep and went down without a fuss even with a house full of kids to play with! Never thought I'd see the day that he'd be such a good little sleeper!
Bubba D is doing well, although I suspect he has finally caught this cold off the kids :( (as have I) Will see how he goes today and have made an appt with our GP for them all tomorrow.
Still a few weeks till his repeat scans at the children's hospital but hoping all will be well
He is feeding and sleeping pretty well. Days are harder than nights and he is generally only waking once or twice overnight so I'm getting a good stretch of 5-7.5 hours from him which is really nice! DH and I have our evenings to ourselves which I didn't think would happen again for a while. Hopefully things stay good in that department!
Better go, D needs to go back to bed...(Saffi/Trish - ever feel like all you do is feed them and put them to bed?!)
Just popping to say
Happy Birthday Tyron, i hope your having a great day.
I'll bbl for personals, we are having a shocker of a day today!
Double post
:birthday2: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYRON!!! :birthday2:
I hope you are having a fun day!! (I hope you are too Nic!)
Willow - Thanks for your lovely words :D. It's hard to believe it's been two whole years isn't it?! We're having a party for the boys because Joel is turning 5 and we thought we'd make a bit of a deal for him, and K gets to be included just 'coz LOL. We are hoping to have a bit of a party at Joel's favourite park the week after their b'days (most people, inc. the boys will be away on their b'day weekend because of the Melbourne Cup). I hope your kiddies get better soon, nothing worse than a household of sickies :(.
Saffi - Thanks for backing me up re: the boy's birthdays LOL! As long as I can at least give them a cuddle and watch them open their pressies I'll be happy. I know they'll have a ball going away too so everyone wins :)
Kellie - I think it's our right as mums too! We put in all the hard yards, we should be able to celebrate their special day with them once a year ;).
misskate - Great to hear from you :). Lochie sounds like a real cutie!
Better run, the little Miss has awoken and I need to get her back to sleep for a bit longer yet!
hey all
Willow - I've had pelvis probs for years and the pregnancy has exacerbated it. Anyway, now have heaps of exercises to strengthen my core.
Certainly feel like I'm constantly feeding her, putting her to bed is another matter as she doesn't sleep!! DH weighed her today and she is 5.29kgs so I am doing something right.
We are having a party at a playcentre with the bubs from MG plus a few others. 10 kids in all eekkkkk.
Trish - reading back I think I may have sounded harsh re the boys birthdays. Definitely think its a mum's right to be with her babies on their birthday.
Mo - hope your day got better.
DH is still home sick and most likely for the rest of the week. With my back the way it is its good to have him around. Actually he drove us to his work this morning and I think we are lucky to be alive. Needless to say he was sent home.
Hey ladies!
Happy birthday Ty :leap:
i am still so touched by that amazing post you made Trish! The support and love i have received from each of you has been amazing! And getting to meet most you and your beautiful children has been a real honnour
Trish bummer baout the boys being away on their bdays! That will be hard lots of spoiling the day before then
Saffi! hows your little one going??? Hope your back gets better and your dh gets over his man flu
Willow hope the kids are better soon! Have pm you on fb :)
Hi everyone else! Still here and no site of labour coming on yet :) I am seeing the ob tomorrow and then have to go to a funeral on firday, my uncles mum died, heartattack early sunday moring...she was healthy so it was quite a shock but so glad she didnt have to suffer cancer etc like my nan :(
xxxxx
thanks everyone, Tyron had a fun day however the poor thing had to go to the docs thismorning and turns out he has tonsilitis, an ear infection and gunky eye...... you would not think there was a thing wrong with him looking at him, it was only last night he had a bit of a temp and when changing his nappy i got a peek inside, his tonsils were huge and red and pussy.... poor thing...... so he is on AB now, we were going to go to a playcentre but just stayed at home.
both mine and dh parents came over this arvo so he got very spoilt ofcourse.
im now glad his party ahs already been had.
amber - good luck at your appointment, hope you dont have too long to wait. my gfriend is due this saturday and trying for VBAC i know how much she just wants to go into labour. sorry to hear of your familys lost, i hope the funeral goes ok, how sad.
oh Nic poor Ty being sick on his bday :-( hope he gets better soon  good luck to your friend hope she gets her vbac xoxo
Have a good day everyone :grouphug: xoxo
Hello all,
Sorry I have been away for so long had a bad run here since the M/C, the housemates went psycho and were stealing our things, food, money. Ended up waiting for them to go to Sydney to visit her sister and packed up all her things, left it at her house in lithgow, and got the locks changed, took 2 days and 4 people to clean the room it was so disgusting. They still owe us money we will never see but at least we are happier, healthier without them :)
Also have some news, got a big positive pregnancy test on my birthday, last Sunday. Please don't say anything on FB though :). We are going to wait till 17+ weeks to tell everyone. Fingers and toes crossed!
Ryan is 2years old today, where did that go? Who said he was allowed to grow up? Such a monkey love him to bits. He has a half day at daycare today while I have the day off work. Boss is being a nob again he brought a really bad flu bug to work that I caught then a week later miscarried Dylan and now he is at work with a flu bug AGAIN. So I've refused to work while he is sick.
Anyway while I have a part day to myself I'm going to try and get into my assignments due soon and get them out of the way so I can study for my exam, then uni is over and done with for another semester!
Love to all, hope everyone is well xoxox
Celtic Moon aka Lauren
grats celtic... im very happy for your positive test result.... to new beginnings... to move on, but never forget! much love
Happy Birthday Ryan & Congrats Celtic
Amber i'm waiting so patiently for the txt that says your've gone into labor lol. I hope the nudger comes out soon, i got a feeling it's gonna be a little Bella ;)
Kate it's nice to hear from you again.
Trish it's not selfish to want to spend the day with your boys on their birthday.
Saffi i hope your feeling better today.
Willow i'm so glad D is doing well & i hope everyone feels better soon.
We didn't really have a party, we just had family over.
Nic i hope Ty is feeling better, poor little guy.
We had the WORST day yesterday, She was being such a little brat. I always knew she would be my "problem" child, she is so strong willed & stubborn but yesterday was such a battle. Everything had to be done her way or no way at all. Thank goodness today is much better.
Kodi is doing really well, she has finally starting eating her solids & is now spacing her feeds out more. My poor boobies aren't use to that yet & are always leaking lol.
Amber lots of labor vibes to you.
Celtic - congratulations! And Happy 2nd birthday to Ryan.
Mo - hoping that M settles down. We have a strong willed tot here too. It is so hard not to just give in and let them have their way.
Amber - Immi is doing really well. She is 5.29kgs now which is at the 50th percentile so she is where she should be. Only up once a night for a couple of hours and not the best day sleeper. But in all very content baby and is giving us heaps of smiles.
Back is slowly getting better. Am able to move around more freely than I did a few days ago. Still in a bit of pain tho. DH went back to work today too.
Anyway best get some housework done. BBL
Hi all!
Saffi - LOL, you didn't sound harsh at all about the boy's birthdays! I don't think I could ever describe you as harsh ;). Woohoo on Immi's great weight gains! You are doing a super job :D. I'm glad your back is starting to feel better, hopefully it will keep improving for you. Oh, and I LOVE the new photo of Immy in your ticker, she is sooooo gorgeous!
Mo - Sorry Maddi is giving you some grief atm . They give us good and bad days don't they?
Celtic - A belated happy birthday to Ryan for yesterday :D. And congratulations!! That's wonderful news.
Amber - Sorry to hear about your Uncle's mum . I hope the funeral goes OK today, how very sad :(.
Nic - Poor Tyron :(. I hope he gets better quickly. I'm glad he had a great birthday though :)
AFU - All going good here. Alana slept for 9 straight hours last night! I put her to bed at 7pm, gave her a dreamfeed at 8:30pm and she slept through until 5:30am, woohoo! I woke up at 5am and couldn't believe I hadn't heard from her yet, by 5:30am I started getting out of bed to get her up because I felt like I was going to explode LOL, but as I was getting up she woke up anyway, so I didn't feel as guilty. She went straight back to bed and slept until 7:45am, not bad! Fingers crossed she keeps it up. She has been consistently sleeping 7.5 - 8 hours straight overnight, so hopefully she will just keep on extending longer. Joel was a great night sleeper too and she takes after him more than K (who took a lot longer to sleep through the night).
Well, I'd better go, I can hear her stirring from a nap. Hope you all have a great weekend!
misskate-thank you and no we will never forget Dylan he has a grave outside & I have a mini statue of a baby sleeping in angel wings beside my bed. We are hoping this one decides to stick around this time :)
Mo-Thank you. Is it a phase do you think or will she always be your strong willed little girl? :). How is today going? I used to take time-outs where I'd go lock myself in a room for a few minutes if Ryans tantrums are getting too much, luckily now he has had 3 molars break through he is being pretty good again. Maybe the two year old molars coming through?
Saffi- what did you do to your back? How is it feeling today? Do warm packs or a warm bath help at all?
Trish- Wow congrats on the 9 hour stretch that must have been fabulous for you! :). How are the boys loving their little sister?
Not much to report, Ryan is going good he is being Mr Energetic today. So far all is good and calm :).
Hope everyone has a great weekend :)
Lauren
Lauren it's a major jealousy phase, everything Kodi does/gets Maddi has to have/do lol.
I do think so will always be strong-willed tho.
We went & saw Dora today, M cried when Dora first came on stage, but after a few mins she got into the show & was dancing etc..
Then we got to meet Dora & Maddi was giving Dora hugs it was so cute.
Then when Dora had to leave Maddi was just hysterical saying "No bye bye Dora" & Dora come back lol
Hi girls...
Just a quick one...back in Singas and i'll catch up at lunch when Max is sleeping....got my first scan today too...WOOO!
HUGGLES!
hi everyone
apologies for being so slack again!
Willow - we are having a party for Tahlia this year at a play centre, should be fun! And they do all the work for me!
Amber - how are you going sweetie? Any labour signs? Won't be long now till your holding your gorgeous bubba! Sorry to hear about your uncles mum.
Celtic - congrats!
Saffi - hope your back is better
Trish - how lucky are you getting in 9 hour sleeps! Sounds good!
Mo - when we've taken tahlia to see things like dora she is always the same, scared and nervous at first, then she warms up to it and loves it!
Julia - good luck with the scan today! Cant wait to hear all about it!
AFM - had my 12 week scan last week and got good results there, so that was a relief. Not much else new, went to the baby expo on Saturday and spent way too much money on an isoki nappy bag but I figure this bub deserves it as everything else he/she is using is 2nd hand!
Hi to everyone else!
Just got out of hospital, no more bubalug :(. Better luck next time hey..
Oh no , I'm so sorry Celtic :(. Thinking of you.
Awww Lauren i'm so sorry
so sorry lauren
Kellie thats great about your scan! Yeah not long now eeek :)
Sorry will get back later am being slack  xxx
Oh noooooo...I came back to say Congrats to you Lauren :( I'm sorry to hear your news.
so sorry to hear the news Lauren, thinking of you
Sorry for your loss Lauren. Take care of yourself.
Oh Lauren, I am so very sorry :(
You must both be devastated. Take care of each other
Sorry for your loss Lauren. Take care of yourself.
Hello Everyone,
Long time no hear. Have been sooo busy working full time etc etc that I don't get on here much, but stalk as much as poss.
TBH we are planning on TTC in December-ish so I have visited the Pre-TTC chatter a fair bit. It moves much more slowly in there and I can keep up!
How are all your 2 year old bubbas! My lil fella turned 2 on Saturday. I just can't believe that time has flown by.
Celtic - I am sorry for your loss hun, although I haven't been on here much I have been watching. Definitely wish you good luck for the future *hugs*
Hopefully I wont be a stalker much longer and will get some more BB time
Thank you all, just really poopey this keeps happening. 5wks is easier to deal with emotionally than 16wks holding a wee bub, but it's still hard. Taking Ryan to the dr tonight for what looks like a sinus infection will see if I can steal their time and ask what is the common causes for recurrent m/c and what steps we need to take... grumble hiss grr
Hi girls, I am back but just no time to post. Just a quickie now as I need to get dinner cooked. Trip to Mt G was good, although Mia was a brat the whole time and starting chucking some major tantrums. Tay was also in bad form until Bruno got there Friday night. She really does not cope when he is away! I am so happy to be home though, nothing like home and your own bed and space!
Celtic - I am so sorry to hear about your loss of another angel baby. A close friend of mine lost a bub at 20 weeks and then fell pregnant again only to lose it at 8. It is just not fair and there are no answers. You just need to keep faith that good things will happen for you next time. We all will hope and  that this is the case for you. Big hugs x
Mo - I think it has been the week for naughty kids. Everyone I have spoken to has said their little ones have been really naughty and unusually so! Hopefully playgroup tomorrow we might get some happy kids!
I will come back and post more. As I said trying to get dinner organised. Really could have a day off from cooking today, but considering we are just home from being away for almost a week I need to make the effort! :D
Hope you and your families are well x
Belated happy 2nd birthday to Rhys and a Happy 2nd birthday for Chelsea.
Willow - love the new av.
Dragon - stop lurking and come and say hello more often. Can understand tho how busy it can get.
Celtic - hope you can get some answers.
Julia - how did the scan go?
Back pain is easing but now I am lop-sided which is a bit of a worry. Off to the physio on Saturday and hopefully they can put me upright again.
Anyway the boys are home so need to get dinner finalised.
Happy Birthday gorgeous bubalugs!! I remember when we were all in the Bellybuddy forums, seems only a few months ago not over 2 years ago :).
Saffi good luck Saturday, hope they can pop you back in to place :).
After Wednesday am going to see the dr, had a talk to her while Ryan allowed and she wants my HcG back and then will do a bunch of blood tests etc and if they all come back ok will give me a referal to a specialist, if not then they will deal with what's wrong with the blood work. She was really lovely gave me a hug and wants to take Ryan home. He said goodbye, waved, shook her hand and blew her a kiss before we left, so funny :)
STRESSING...My B-hCG has nearly doubled in the last 1 1/2 days, they are saying I'm most likely ectopic, ultrasound and blood test tomorrow followed by surgery :(
Got to love mates who tell you all the gorey stories about people near dying, I don't want to die :(....
STRESS....
