OMG has this been the quietest couple days in here ever!!!!
Well today was good. Playgroup was fun. The bully girl stayed away from Jordan so that was good. She beat up on another boy there but he is her age and he gave it back.
Cindy you think your mum says bad things.... well Jamie was telling my mum about his dad in hospital. When he told her where he was she said" oh thats where our friend died from the hospitals error" WTF is she serious. I am so angry at her.

Well I guess you are all busy so we will have lots to catch up on on thursday. Back to work tomorrow but Jordan will be home with Jamie has he is sick with a cold so had today and tomorrow off. Lucky him.

I feel like I haven't posted in ages!! LOL!
Everythings good here...Yesterday was full on - took Louis to swimming - the new pool is wayyy better than were he used to go. The teacher was way nicer as well. Dylan went well in creche - slept the whole time. Then raced home and went to the gym (mum looked after the kids) and then took Louis to the dr...just checked out his rash around his mouth - they want me to put cortisone cream on it but I refuse...hehe. It's not that bad - just doesn't look that great. I'm sure it will clear up one of these days.
Today was great - it was such a beautiful day! We just played outside and chilled out around the house.
Dylans good - he's rolling over from tummy to back everytime I put him on his tummy cheeky thing...He loved having time outside today as well!

Rachael - Wow - that's great!!! Keep it up!

Cindy - Hope Tori had fun at playgroup! Wow at Charlotte having another photo shoot! Thats great...Yep - I agree Mums always come out with things you don't want to hear - LOL. I'm sure Tori will be fine with it!

Tracey - Glad you had fun at dancing!

Well ladies Thurday just got bigger as Dani might be coming aswell. We are going to have a house full.

Well charlotte went well, the perfect smiling baby, they ran really late though so i didnt get out of there untill nearly 5!

Sorry, got to cut this short and get going, have been out all day and working tomorrow so i need to get organised and tidy up a bit too!

Tracey, minor change of plans. Im still coming but Milo might not be, am I still allowed?

I'm in 2 minds whether to bring him, DH doesn't want me to..

Theres been more upheaval at creche. the new director has decided its not good enough to have the sleeping rrom seperate with the cots etc, so has moved all the cots into the main room/area. She has also decided the bigger kids like Milo have to sleep on floor mats not in the cot. So none of the babies are sleeping cos the big kids are climbing on the cots and waking them, and the bigger kids don't want to sleep cos of the distractions.

So, DH reckons cos today was his first day of this, I shouldn't be taking him out of creche, and then back in on Friday cos it will be too confusing for him.

I really don't know what to do, other than I've taken the day off and I'm sure as hell not going to work now :)

mmmmmm,tricky racheal,hope im not butting in with my opinion but he will adjust to the new routine sooner or later if he is there or not tomorrow,but i know one thing is for sure,if i had a day off from work i just couldnt put my babies into creche,they deserve a day off too.hope i dont sound bichy,isnt my intention promise!milo would have a ball with us tomorrow with all the kids and doing something different.

Hi ladies

Well I had a great day today and I think all the kids did as well. I was so pleased there no major tantrums or fights (jordan was well behaved today YEAH). House is all back to normal and Jordan is still in bed BONUS. It really weird as the house is so quiet apart from the tele.

Rachel I have Milos jacket here so we will have to work out a way to get it back to you. I am so pleased you decided to come with Milo. I think he had a great day with the kids and the CHAIR. I think I might buy him one for his bday LOL :) I hope you had a nice afternoon with us all.

Nikki It was so nice to catch up again your kids are just gorgeous. Chantelle is growing up so fast she is so clever. Harry is a little darling and SO GOOD to sleep thru all the noise of 4 toddlers.

Cindy Was so nice to catch up and I am so disappointed I wont be able to make your bday. I am sure you will have an awesome night. Tori is such a happy little girl, she is just a pleasure to have over. Charlotte is just gorgeous, no wonder Target called her back again. Hope the 2nd trip home didnt take long LOL, I knew someone would have to forget something. I hope Nikkis little girl is ok. I felt so bad she drove all the way here only to have to go so quickly.

Kristie I hope you managed to get some rest today and the boys were good. We will have to catch up soon. It wasnt the same without you and the boys.

As usual girls it was great to catch up again! the kids are such good little friends and so great with playing together!
Tori was knackered! and was asleep before i een hitthe hwy the first time! Thats right, i forgot stuff and had to go back to traceys to collect them!
I spoke to Nicki this arvo and charlee is fine, she came home had some panadol and a big sleep and seems fine now. Nicki has said she will have everyone over to her place once they finish thier rennovations!

Kristie - i hope you are ok, you havent been saying much in here lately. Is everything alright? are you still going to make it sunday? I was thinking we should brave another play center next week!

got to go, got heaps to do before our rental inspection tomorrow (its the one thing i hate about renting and al is talking of extending our lease too, just to give us more time to sort out where we want to be)

Tracey - Benjamin had to come home from daycare an hour after he got there this morning. He had a temp of 38.6 degrees. That's nothing to 2 mornings ago when he spiked 39.8 degrees here at home. If he gets close to needing panadol, he seems to get a higher temp then. The doc said it's his teeth. I'm in 2 minds about it. I got him some cough mixture, more panadol and euky bear rub. I'm out of ideas now. There is a virus here in Toowoomba going around, either you get the temps and vomiting and diaorrehea or you get temps and headaches only. Benjamin has the temps and headaches only. He's playing fine atm though like he isn't sick. Go figure...

Melissa sorry to hear Benjamin isnt well I hope you work out what is wrong, poor litte fella. Are work ok with you taking time off when he is sick? I am off today as MIL sick and couldnt have Jordan, work are pretty cool with it though.

Rachel Yeah I found the jacket after everyone had left and I was tidying up. I am cool if you want to pick it up from my house or I can give it to you next meet up. Are you meeting Dani this weekend? Maybe she could stop past on her way and pick it up? Glad you and Milo had a great afternoon

Well today had day off as BIL sick and he lives with MIL so didnt take Jordan there incase he caught it. BIL throwing up etc, not something i want Jordan to catch.
Went to coles this morning and bought some stuff and then chilled at home. Jordan chucked some great tantrums this morning when he didnt get what he wanted. He was so good when I got my eyebrows waxed so I was greatful for that.
Think I will eat the block of chocolate I bought YUMMT hazlenut.

We're all well! Just busy and tired! LOL! The kids have been nightmares at night which has been tiring. Our settling routine for the boys at night now often takes an hour or two. I'm very over them sharing a room together!! Luckily Dylan doesn't wake Louis too much through the night but at times Dylans woken every hour for some unknown reason. It's made me feel really tired...I've been trying to keep up going to the gym though as carrying this extra weight is really annoying me! Wednesday I went to the gym and then we had visitors in the arvo and we had visitors last night too - everyone just seems to be popping in and we haven't had much quiet time! Today I took the boys to the playground after gym though and Louis had a ball running around. He ended up soaked as the equipment was a bit wet but it was all good! Did the food shopping this afternoon as we've got bbq's both days of the weekend! Went to target and got some great deals on winter clothes! Got a cute cookie monster sleep suit for Dylan and some jeans, jumpers and t-shirts for Louis! Real bargains - Like $6 for a jumper and about $13 for jeans etc. Worth checking out!
Anyway...thats it for me - Louis is still stuffing around in his room but luckily Dylans sleeping through it...urrgghhh it's just so draining at the moment.
Oh had to add that Louis can nearly sing the alphabet song now! LOL!

Cindy - I'm looking forward to catching up on Sunday! Will be great! As I texted - I'm making a trifle but haven't made one before...I figure I can't get it too wrong?? LOL. We'll see...Did you end up going to look at Fernwood?? Glad Charlotte went well at the shoot! Hope your inspection went well today! Yep - a play centre would be good...Maybe next Friday?? It's about the only time I have free - LOL!

Nikki - I'm a bit like you at the moment - I have a read but don't seem to have the time to post all the time...a bit of a shock for me after posting aaallll the time in here! Also Dylans starting to get really interactive now so we're spending lots of time playing!!

Trace - Thanks! How good is it having a laptop?? I love that I can sit on the couch and watch t.v or even in bed! I also bring into the kitchen if I've got a recipe I'm cooking - LOL!

My SIL still hasn't had her baby! She's 3 days overdue now and they're predicting an 8-9 pounder! She's very over it - I don't blame her either!
Better go...we're off to a bbq when Louis wakes up...

Krisite hope you have a good time at the BBQ Your poor SIL being overdue. My friend at works sister had a bub this morning she was 13 days overdue, poor darling.

Jamie is in lounge with lap top so I dont have to wait for him to get off now which is excellent.
Got home from work to a very messy house and no Jordan or Jamie. Tidied up and then they came home but luckily Jordan went straight to bed and is still asleep.
I think its a take away night tonight. I cant be bothered cooking.

Hi everyone!
Well we certainly had an eventful day today.
I was supposed to be going to the BB lunch at Zagames but didn't get there :(
I'll cut and paste from the meet-up thread...

I was running late, Milo slept until 12:45 so I was rushing around getting ready and DH was on the phone to his mum. I was about to get Milo into the car and leave when Milo ran across the lounge and overbalanced, landing head first into the edge of our sliding doors. and inch to the right and he'd have gone through the glass.
He came very near to splitting his head open, theres a big egg and an almost cut.. not sure how to describe it its ind of like a scratch/graze, and there's blood. but it wasn't bleeding - not cut to stitch etc. So I went down to the pharmacist who sent me home with 5 different things to apply to it, including steri-strips and assorted creams, betadine and a water proof bandage.

He seems OK so far, I'm going to check it again in the morning.

Tracey are you going to be home tomorrow afternoon? If you are I will drop by and pick up the vest.

Rachel I am out tomorrow afternoon at a babyshower. I will be leaving about 1ish. What time were you planning on coming over? Call me and I will let you know where I am?
So sorry to hear about Milos accident, sounds awful. I hope the little guy is ok. Are you ok? that would have scared the crap out of me.

That's OK, I don't want to interrupt your plans. I'm not in a rush to get it back (DH is but who cares?) we're at a lunh from 12 til probably 3-4 anyway, so I can always come another time.

Tracey - No time off work for me. They prefer no days off. Dh looks after Benjamin when I'm at work. My work mate got the sack as he never showed up on Thursday for work, didn't even call in. I'm now in up to my ears with work because of him til they find someone else to fill his postion.

Well today I went to the babyshower but it was great. I am so clucky. I am so relaxed this month with TTC so I am feeling good and less stressed about it all.
Jordan has been chucking some awesome hissy fits this week and today was no excemption. Jamie and I have decided to ignore the tamtrum and let him go, it seems to be working well. I have rotated some of the toys today which is good. He has had fun with some older toys today.
Watching BB at the moment whilst working on the laptop. SO cool.

Krisite I hope you are having a great weekend and have gotten some relaxing done. Hope the boys are sleeping well together in the same room.

Nikki how is the clan..... I hope all the kids are well.

Well yesterday was good fun! Except for the part where charlotte decided to projectile vomit everywhere! She did it once more last night and then didnt have another feed untill 4 this morning (nearly 12 hours between feeds!) but she is fine now and keepingeverythihng down so im not sure what that was about! I hope its nothing catchy and everyone doesnt end up getting it!
I got lots of great pressies! Mt favorite has to be the engagement ring though! Thats right, finally al has asked the question and now we have a wedding to organise!
I had about 10 more people turn up after you guys left but they had all gone home by 9 so it wasnt to late a night! I didnt realised that i forgot to drink! Al said he drank a fair bit(for him it was)

Nikki- thanks so much to tidying up! It was much appreciated! I hope the drive home wasnt to terrible and james was alright when you got to him! Tori was so funny with harrys clothes, she bought it all out to me item by item and saying harry's sock, harrys jumper etc! SO cute!
Al said to say he had a great time chatting with grant as usual! They seem to get along so well dont they, they are farily similar.
You have to tell grant, that if its really important to him that i move to hervey bay then alright lets do it! Not for atleast 2 years though, got to get married etc down here! He is such a dag!

Aleisha won Big Brother last night. I can't believe how drawn out it all was. My dh was waiting to tape Torchwood after it and was getting very impatient.

Benjamin is much better now, thankyou for all the well wishes. He still has the awful cough though that just won't go away. He is over the high temps so that's a relief. He is however onto soft foods again as his 2 year molars are coming in and hurting ever so much when he eats hard things. He suffered yesterday eating twisties, he wanted them that badly that he sooked right through til the end of the packet. He just wouldn't give in and give us the packet. :doh:

Nikki - How's the munchkins doing with settling?

Well playgroup was ok today. Jordan slept in till just before 9 which was brilliant. The house is a pig sty though so after I eat my lunch is cleaning time :(
I am so over the tantrums here at the moment. He is forever throwing himself backwards and knocking his head on the floor. He is going to have no brain cells left the way he is going. I try to catch his head and then walk away and ignore him but it doesnt appear to be working as they are becoming more frequent, whenever he cant have what he wants.
I am well. Feeling really relaxed about TTC this month and think I have even missed O so not to worried. I am even keeping out of the TTC threads. GO ME
Well we had some sad news yesterday, a friend of ours lost their bubs at 8 weeks. I am not sure what to say or do really? I dont want to be in their face but would like to offer support? DH spoke with them yesterday but thinks they are putting on a brave face. I really hope they are ok. It must be awful.

Tracey, I'm so sorry! 8 weeks pg, or 8 weeks old? Either way it would be devestating.
I haven't got any advice for you I'm afraid cos I am hopless in those sorts of situations, not knowing what to say etc.
I think if it was me that it had happened to, I wouldn't relly care what people had to say, just that they were there, and cared enough to say something. Its the intent thats more important IYKWIM?

GRRR - I wrote a huge long post last night and lost it! I'm sooo annoyed.

Louis spent Monday night throwing up all night and is just still recovering I think. We had a shocker of a night with him last night just because he was walking all the time and was just really upset. Also he decided he didn't want his dummy anymore so I just lie with him and he nods off to sleep. Maybe he's having to relearn how to get back to sleep?? Dylan seems to have missed it which is lucky! He's also sleeping a lot better which is great! Last night he was up late and fed at 9.30 and then not again until 6am and then back to sleep until 8.15am so I can't complain with that! Now I just need Louis to settle again! LOL!

Cindy - Congrats again! Hope you had a great time! Yep everythings sorted - I came home and he was in bed but he'd tidied up the whole house and the kitchen while we were out. I told him I had wanted him to be with us not clean but at least he tried to make up for it a little!

Nikki - Hope the kids are starting to feel better! Good luck with your exam today - I'm sure you'll do fine! I hope you don't get sick either! Awww thank Grant for me - Thats a nice thing to say! I think we just all have our moments - I'm very lucky to have Michael as well...he really is a good husband and father he just does stupid things sometimes - LOL!!!

Ummm - Oh yeah - My SIL is being induced tomorrow!! Just with gels to start and then they'll break her waters on Fri if nothing is happening - I'm sooo excited!! She's now a week overdue and so over it the poor thing...I can't wait to meet the little man!!

I've got my appointment for my surgery Yipee! I go in September 4th for pre-op then I have the surgery on the 18th. I'm so glad that it will be so much sooner than we thought.:dance:

My poor little munchkin isn't great today...he's just been falling asleep and has no energy. He's just sat on the couch all day! He doesn't have a temperature so I haven't given him any medicine...I can't see what would help. He at least had some toast this morning and some apple and Lots of water...

i passed my exam but i also cheated,i looked at the girls next to me.i also feel really unwell,my throat is killing me and my chest and lungs feel awful,so do my ears and back of my nose,what a sook.cant say much,no energy,going to bed.harry is really unwell still,not eating and vomiting everywhere.dr for him tomorrow if no improvment.

Well last night I slipped during tap class and tried to stop my fall with my hand (dumb idea) my wrist took all my weight and I am in absolute agony. I cant really use it, it hurts to move it and to pick up Jordan or change a nappy is awfully hard. I am hoping it will improve tomorrow as I am back at work and need to type all day, although typing isnt too bad.
Jordan had another WEDNESDAy night special after being at my mums. I am really not sure what to do about it? I need to work wednesdays and mum is helping us out by having him however he is so unhappy when he gets home so I dont know if he should continue to go there? I dont think she is nasty to him but she obviously does something that he doesnt like and he gets so upset. She also is a bit of a tight a***. I have stopped packing his breaky/lunch when he goes to MIL or mums. MIL isnt concerned but mum mentioned to Jamie that I forgot to pack his food today!!!!!!! Surely she can spare a couple slices of bread for toast and sandwich...... she is his grandmother for gods sake. She is really getting on my nerves at the moment. I wonder if he would enjoy a day at daycare better than her house, but how would I tell her its only her house he isnt going anymore????? I dont want to offend her as she is mega sensative.

he would love day care for 1 day,they just do so much fun stuff,he would really benefit from it,including learning other skills like sharing,taking turns,being gentle and all those other wonderful things they need to learn before kinder.not sure how to approach mum about it though,wow,i am really suprised that she is that tight she cant feed her grandson.
feeling bit better today,harry is not eating very well at all,only 150mls all day yesterday,he did finish off one bottle so far today and sleeping alot.

Louis woke up full of beans this morning...after an initial hard time getting them to sleep last night they both slept quite well! So I took him to gymbaroo which was good - I think he needed to run around and go crazy after spending a couple of quiet days at home! Then went to the shops...I'm sooo naughty. Got him some big boy undies to put away with his b'day stuff, the craft set I mentioned last week and a frisbee. For now I got him some of those big chalks to draw with outside, those foam letters and numbers for the bath and some gorgeous new bonds clothes - cargo shorts and jean shorts with some t-shirts! Now I'll be broke again for another fortnight! LOL!!

Tracey - Sorry to hear about your fall! Hope you feel better soon. Tap shoes are sooo slippery! Bugger about your mum...is he unhappy at night because he's hungry?? Maybe it's worth packing a couple of snack type foods...Daycare is probably a good option - you can always try it anyway and see how he goes...with what to tell your mum, I have no idea! Maybe you could just say you want him to socialise with kids his own age?? I'm sure Louis would love to go in for a day but I'm too much of a sook to take him! hehehe. When he was in there for the afternoon last year he came home with fun things he'd painted etc.

K better go - all THREE of my boys are sleeping as we had a late return home and Michaels buggered from work..probably should do some tidying up - I'm off at 8pm tonight for a massage! Woohoo!!!

Tracey - I would approach it with your mum by saying that you think he would benefit from the socialising side of daycare and 'wouldnt you know it they only had a space free on wednesdays'!! Mums are a pain sometimes, i just hope we dont do any of this tuff though.
My mum had tori this week and my sster had charlotte and i think both of the girls were much happier doing it that way, they might be a bit much for mum on her own with the two of them together.

good to hear bubs are getting better - sorry you all got it from charlotte by the sounds of it!

Cindy great idea on how to approach mum. She just called to say that he only slept for an hour so he was mega over tired.

Well today was a little awkard with my hand. SO hard to dress and change Jordan and to pick him up etc. We managed though. Kristen came over for our top model show which was nice. I had a cuddle with Mia, she is so sweet.

gggrrrr,chantlle is really really sick,she has a very nasty case of tonsilitis and has screamed all day,her breath reeks and she has alot of puss on her tonsils.no temp but absolutly miserable.she has finally fallen asleep in my bed after crying for 2 hours straight,omg i am exhausted,tis going to be a shocker of a night i think.grant is going to sleep with harry in the lounge room,i have set up his porta cot,he will take care of his needs over night so chantelle can stay in bed with me and i can take care of her needs.dr tomorrow morning for all three of us,i still feel like ****.
