geez i wish all of the parents in my house had figured that one out. like when theres only enough milk for one breakfast - so he eats his and then sends me down the shops as theres no milk for Milo :(

Rachael - I'd be sending him down the shop if he finished it!!!!! Cheeky bugger...hehe. Guys need to be given a boot up the backside sometimes...
guys i really hope my brother and fiancee do turn out to be good parents.
Jordan had a great TT day with his nanny today. only 1 accident. He did have 2 when we got home though but oh well.
Feeling exhausted today cant wait to get into bed.
HI All!
Tracey - I seen that you mentioned that you have a "My potty Book". We have one of those too. My SIL sells them through Learning Ladder. I think the book is great. got to read it more often to Benjamin I think.
Nikki - I hope you can handle having 5 kids at home?
Rachael - I hope Milo's finger is healing nicely and hasn't got infected?
Kristy - Got a phone call from the head of the hospital. She is now on my case regarding my mis-given infromation via the doctors. She wasn't impressed with the way I have been treated and has sent my records to be reviewed by another doctor who is some sort of big wig when it comes to gyno's here in QLD. He's based in Ipswich and is willing to come up here for a few hours to work out what has actually happened. We are hoping that we can still have another child. We won't know until the doctor see's us in the next few weeks. The head of the hospital wants to sit in on the review also, which I'm more than fine with as she has been so helpful in getting things to be sorted out. If they are still uncertain about things I hope they do some scans too.
Benjamin is our little heavy weight now. He's hit 19.5 kgs. He seems to be getting taller by the day too.
Melissa
Melissa WOW Benjamin is a big boy. I am glad the hosptial is looking into your case and that you might get some real answers.
Well today Jordan did #2 on the toilet, a real breakthru as we have only really been catching the end of them but today he sat there and did one, DH was so rapted. I was at work when he did it but Jordan told me all about it when I got home LOL
He has been really good today, no accidents at all.
4 weeks of work left YEAH and counting. I have midwife app on monday which is good. I want to ask her about this low and heavy feeling i am experiencing. I dont remember feeling like this with Jordan. I am also getting a few BH at the moment.
Jamies friend had her baby on thursday night, so excited. We are going in to see her tomorrow.
Cindy I wont be able to make Charlottes bday party, I am so sorry. I always seems to miss your parties........one day we will make it. I hope you have an awesome afternoon and Charlotte has a good time.
Take care everyone
XX
Well what a big day yesterday! Charlottes birthday was good fun even though it was freaking cold and wet, we hada good turn out though. Thanks for dropping in Kristie, sorry you didnt make it tracey and Nikki...
We had a massive icecream cake which CHarlee took a hige chunk of home, she loved it the little cutie!
We were all totally worn out afterwards though and we ALL had a sleep when we got home which was great and much needed by all. We even managed to DTD, i mentioned to al that if we had of had condoms it could have been a chance for it and to my surprise he popped into the bathroom and came back with a packet he has had stashed for a few weeks, the poor guy, it only took 12 months!
I have been rather emotional at the moment about charlotte turning 1 it was sucha scary time leading up to her birth with al lthe worry about the placenta and i look ather and she is such a perfect little bub! I am sooo lucky. We cpoke about more kids last night and have decided that its undecided... will talk about it again once wehave been in the new house 12 months and see whats happening. The hard thing for me is that i really want to do my midwifery study and i dont want to do it when i have LITTLE bubs and put that stress on myself as well, as it is something would have to give - either tupperware or work.. I just want to get on with it all.
Oh, als SIL just announced their pregnancy - they are due end of October! All these bubs popping out at the moment got us talking.
ok, i will check in later, i have sooo much to do today and playgroup as well which takes half my day away.
Cindy - I'm glad the party went well. Sorry I didnt mage to get there had a morning of it with trying to bake while Milo was being velcro boy and managed to barely get to the party on time.
Neil took him to the werribee zoo while I was gone so they had lots of fun.
Melissa - Milo's finger doesnt seem to be infected, and a lot of the swelling has gone down but it still looks a bit strange, so I think next time we go to the doctors I will ask about it.
better go do some work..
Cindy I am glad Charlottes party went well and I am sorry I missed it (specially the ice cream cake ) Its a little emotional when you think of your bubs growing up. YEAH on DTD I can only imagine how realxed you felt afterwards. WOW at thinking of possibly extending the family. Its nice to know there is a possibilty at some point.
Rach LOL at Milo being velcro man. Sometimes I think Jordan still has his umbilacle cord attached. Glad Neil and Milo had a good time at the zoo.
well had midwife app today and looks as though Liam might be a big boy. I am measuring 38cm, 3 cm bigger than where we are at. She said there isnt anything to worry about at this stage however if I continue to grow bigger then they will do a size scan to see if I can attempt VBAC. They wont let me trial labour if bubs looks as though he is over 9pound 2 ounce (hospital policy). So at the moment I am hoping I can still get my vaginal birth.
Liam heads is also still high up (poss the reason for my larger measurement) so I have no misgivings that he will arrive early. This is good as I am no where near ready. I dont even have maternity pads yet ( how bad am I? )
Jordan has done really well with TT these past few days.We are certainly getting there. I cant beleive how grown up he is getting. He is talking constantly although sometimes he is hard to understand.
Cant wait to finish work, so over it. only 19 days to go.....
XX
That sux Tracey, which hospital is that with?
Later gestation u/s are notoriously unreliable for size predictions. My doctor actually stopped using them routinely when they did a c/s based on the u/s prediction of a 10lb bub who was born weighing just over 7lb.
tracey dont get too worried just yet, racheal is right,i have heard that storey so many times where bub is measuring large but is infact smaller than predicted.Good luck!
cindy that is exciting to think that you still might have another baby,i hope you do but i can understand that feeling of just wanting to get on with your life without small babies to take care of.
im glad cha cha had a good birthday, what a dilemna it was for me,grant took corey to footy (his first game) and it was out woop woop, about an hour later we were all ready and packed to come and what do you know i had no car! grant took my car and left me the ute and of coure i cant get me and 3 kids in the ute and i had no car seats,i wanted to ring you but my mobile was in my car with grant,i tried to ring him so he could get your number to let you know what had happened but my phone was switched off so i couldnt even talk to him.GGrrrrrr!
corey has been really sick since sun night,he has been struggling with a migraine and vomiting and fever,he has picked up a bit this morning but i have had to take the day off work to look after him.
i can see the releif in his face that the worst is ovwer,it really was terrible for him the poor thing.now i am bracing myself to see if it travels through the rest of us!
we had a great time sat night at the 70s party we got sooo drunk.we danced heaps,it was the best party i have been to for ages.we got some photos and we looked so funny.when i get a chance i will uplaod and put it in my ticker.
nikki
did you hear that an e-bay auction for wiggles tix was pulled, the person was asking $2K for tickets!!!
My team leader has asked me to see if I can track down 2 for him at face value..i dont like his chances :(
omg 2k gosh was it a joke,i mean honestly who would pay that much, gee if someone was willing to pay that much i wont be going and will sell them for 1k......HEHE!
well we have had a wet morning today..... went to GF to get hair cut and Jordan wet himself 3 times OOPS. He hadnt even drunk a lot this morning but I think he doesnt fully empty his bladder when he goes so can go within 1/2 hr of the last one. Hoping we have a drier afternoon now we are home.
Nikki glad you had a nice night at your 70s party Hope Corey is feeling better too.
Rach I have been reading that the size scans are unreliable but how can I say that to them?????? I think I am going to have to go with whatever they advise. I guess it only matters that he comes out safely, not the way he comes out.
Hope everyone is well, must be all busy, or have more of a life than me LOL
only 3 weeks of work left THANKGOODNESS
We have had a drier today today, thank goodness. No accidents so far, touch wood.
Playgroup was good today however I was SO UNIMPRESSED to find one of the kids drawing all over Jordan with a black texter, on his new wiggle top. Luckily it has all come out in the wash. I thought she was just touching him but when I went over he had texter everywhere.
I am a little tired today so thinking a nanna nap is in order.
3 weeks left off work after this week thankgoodness.
Wardrobe for Liam is being done Monday, finally and then I can get all Jordans old clothes out. I cant wait to go thru it all, wash and put in away ready for him.
Still havent organised a bag for us though for hospital. Dont even have maternity pads yet, oh well. I am sure I will get them eventually LOL
Take care everyone

had james parent teacher interviews today,i saw 4 of his teachers and they all said the same thing.A+ results but disruptive in class.........what can i do!!!!!i just hope his brains can get him through and that when he gets to yr 10 he buckles down when he realises that he is getting to the serious buisiness side of things.we are in the middle of renovating our ensuite,we have taken out the old shower screen and all the tiles,re plastered and now waiting for the new tiles to arrive which should be tomorow,so we are spending the weekend tiling between footy and basketball games.the new shower screen will be installed on wednesday and then it is up to me to paint......
reece goes home on sat night so we will have just the 4 kids all next week and then he is back again the following week.i have been back and forth to the loo tonight,i am thinking i may have caught coreys bug!gosh i hope not.
tracey LOL about the texta.kids gotta love them.
nikki
Nikki - A+ results but disruptive sounds to me like either a) he isnt being extended enough in class - if he can get A+ and still have time to be disruptive, he sounds bored. That was me in maths through the best part of high school, but especially years 9 and 10.
Or he is embarrassed about being smart so is compensating by trying to be cool as well?
What did the teachers suggest to try - they shouldnt just be saying hes disruptive, talk to him etc, they should have a formulated approach, especially at a private school. Can they give him extended work or get him to help the other kids (would he do it?) instead of being a distraction?
It doesn't really step up in terms of workload until year 11 and 12, unless the school will allow him to take on a year 11 subject in year 10 - which would enable him to have the more challenging work to do, and less time to be bored.
Cindy - what do you tihnk of the yellow? I like the opaque (mixing bowls etc) but am not sold on the sheer stuuf. And dont start me on the forms.
racheal.we tried to do the extended program with him last year after we had a meeting and decided that he was bored and he did great with it as far as results go but still had the same attitude towards school.he definantly does have a problem with nerds.he DOES NOT want to be seen as one.he is a funny kid who just cant seem to help himself and loves to muck around with his mates,he gets a buzz out of being able to get everyones attention and is a natural leader, the teachers said they would not be surprised to see him running a major coorporation or an electrical engineer or i.t but he is still young only just turned 13 and doent have a clue what he wants to do when he is older,so i am hoping that when he has a goal and becomes more mature things will settle down and he will do well.fingers crossed.i feel really crap today as the day wore on i could feel myself getting sicker and sicker and i had sooo many injections to do and i am absolutly drained.the babies are in bed, grant is out having drinks with a friend so i think i will leave reece up with the boys and get an early night.
nikki
rachael- i love the new yellow but think they have their seasons mixed up! Its very summery... Im with you on the baking forms though dont want to show them! Have my first party with it all tomorrow, will see what the response is!
Nikki- you poor thing being sick, i hope you are feeling better soon.
Kristie- we will try our best to drop in on sunday, we have a bbq in the morning so will have to see how feral tori is afterwards
I am not online at the moment, back to checking things on my mobile phone again which is a pain so wont happen to frequently. Have a great weekend all, see you sunday?
Hi!
Long time no post! Just a quick one from me - I promise to reply properly soon!
Just got ready for Dylan's b'day party! I'm very excited - pressies are wrapped and we've gone with a wiggles them so I've got balloons up and wiggles stuff everywhere! I made mini cupcakes and wrote Happy birthday dylan on them and had put yellow, blue, red and purple icing on them - I'm quite proud of myself actually considering how not creative I am! LOL!
No stress if you guys can't make it tomorrow! Just do what you can do!
Rachael - I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch...gosh I'm just so awful at the moment...I can't seem to get organised with anything! I should have the books by Thursday this week...I'll make arrangements with you once I've received them about delivery...So sorry again...
Ok - better do a bit more tidying up and write in Dylans card and then off to bed - I'm buggered!
Hope you're all well and enjoying your weekend!
Chat later!
Kristie, no probs hun, your pregnant with 2 boys and organising a first birthday party :) I might be out your way next weekend so could even pick them up if that works.
I am not going to be able to make it today, have got my brother and his DF coming over.
Well we've finished all our plan alterations for the new house, and spoke to the finance lady yesterday who said the bank are up to doing the valuation for the loan app. and that that should mean everything else is OK, so hopefully this week we'll get our definite yes.
Well I can only say, hats off to Nikki for being a mum to 4 kids as I am knackered. We baby sat our friends kids last night, they have 3. The 2 older ones are fine however Jordan and their 2 year old need constant supervision. They are not up to the sharing stage so there was a bit of snatching and crying going on. I was so tired by the time the older kids went to bed,9pm I was ready to go myself.
This morning was full on with all the kids wanting breaky etc and then wanted to play......
Jamie and I fell in a heap this afternoon when Jordan went to sleep. I slept for 2.5 hrs and Jamie is still asleep.
NIKKI I DONT KNOW HOW YOU DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Krisite I am sorry but we werent able to make it out this afternoon, we are all mega tired. I hope Dylans party went well and you can share some pics with us. I cant wait to hear all about it.
Well 3 weeks of work left and I am counting down. I only actually have 7 days of work in that 3 weeks but it cant come soon enough. I am just getting tired now.
Wardrobe is going in tomorrow FINALLY and Jamie washed all Jordans 000 and 00 clothes so I can start putting things in there when I get home tomorrow, I cant wait. I cant get over how many clothes Jordan had. I cant see that we need anything for Liam however I am sure the relos have gone overboard anyway and bought heaps.
Take care everyone
XX
Rachel I hope you get the house stuff finalised this week, that would be awesome.
tracey,it is hard work isnt it.the only thing that gets me through is i am in bed by 8-9pm most nights, but i am in a routine also and they are my children so i expect it would have been hard for you especially being 36 weeks prg.
well i was sick all weekend,i had a bad night last night aswell but am feeling more human today.kristie i am sooooo sorry i didnt come yesterday,i really couldnt muster up the energy and i didnt want to pass on my lurdy gurdy to anyone else either,i hope he had a great day and was spoilt rotten,i now have to catch up with you and cindy to give the kids there pressies.
grant finished the tiling yesterday,it looks lovely.
tracey i hope the wardrobe looks good.now for the fun part of setting it all up.
am going out with the tweedle girls for dinner tonight in essendon, not feeling up to it but will go anyway.i just dont want to make anyone else sick.
melissa how are you?
Nikki hope you are feeling better and enjoy your night out tonight. I guess it would be easier if they were your own kids, atleast they would have their own stuff to keep them entertained.
Well work today is slow as system down AGAIN I so cant wait to finish up now as this is really getting on my nerves.
Jordan graduated up to the next swim class today so as of next monday Jamie doesnt need to get into the pool anymore. I am so proud of him. It has come at an awesome time also as I can take Jordan aswell and we can watch with Liam. Jamie is going to book Liam in for classes next year on the same day so he can take them both... thats fine with me.
Are we still going out for tea on the 9th????? thats my last day of work so I would enjoy celebrating that and catching up with you all.
XX
im still going out for tea on the 9th tracey!
me too
How are you all?
Tracey - It's getting closer by the day now for u. WOW
Cindy - I saw the new Tupperware catalogue today at playgroup. OMG, who's going backwards to the retro state of things. I've ordered one of the happy choppers already. Seen one earlier this year, and now I've got to have one. Wish they were still blue and not red. The colour has not sold me. I don't mind the kids lunch set and the purple lunch set. Very nice I thought.
Melissa
melissa, any news about your operation, have they been able to determine what they did and didnt take?
a friend of ours had a baby boy 2lbs today born at 26 weeks, mum is in intensive care that is all i know!
Nikki i hope your friend and bubs get thru this tough time.
Melissa so nice tohear form you,and yes, it is very close now, only 3.5 weeks
Well today i feel so sore down below, swollen and tired. I remember now why I ended work at around this stage when preg with Jordan.
Jordan has been doing a good job with the TT he is starting to tell us in advance when he needs to go to toilet, that is progress.
Off to bed early for me, then I can put all Liams clothes in the wardrobe, it got done yesterday and it is fabulous. I am so excited.
take care
XX
oh Nikki. I hope they're both doing well.
My cousin was born at 26 weeks and only weighed around 1 kilo. She's 26 *years* now.
well ladies
i have decided to finish work next friday 2nd may as i am just too tired. last night i flet terrible and dont want to have to do that to Jamie and Jordan again. I was so useless last night. I just have to tell my boss now that I have decided to leave a week earlier.
Nikki how is your friend and her baby? I hope they are both doing well.
SO, any ideas on where we are going to dinner on the 9th?
Lygon St??
Well my life is a never ending drama but its all good!!!! (I hope)
Kristie- could you please email me the link to your due in oct buddies? My SIL has just found out she is due oct and knows nobody as has only just moved to sydney from london so i really think she would benefit from BB
Thats all for me at the moment - will be back later...... Had a massive day at Nickys house looking after her2 and now my girls are sleeping (very late to be but hey!) and i should try to get some stuff done, my house s revolting coz i am never home now i am working 2 days a week
Nikki- how is you job going? still loving it>
Melissa - how are you?
yeah, but I meant has anyone got a recommendation? I'm going to be driving so it would be good to know which end to park at etc.
yep cindy still love my job,i am now working permanent thursdays aswell,so now i work 3 days a week.
i will do a search and see what restaurant week can find for the 9th.
tracey i think it is a good idea for you to leave work sooner.i worked untill i was 37 weeks and that was good cos i was working in aged care at the time and it was physical work but the 3 weeks i had to rest was really important to me physically emotionally and mentally,i was ready and prepred to bring home a new baby without feeling rushed and unorganised.plus it will be a good time for you to spend some time with jordan before all your time is sapped up by liam.
well our bathroom is done aprt from painting,i bought and put in new towel rails, toilet roll holder and new taps and shower accesories.it just looks great and very modern now.the shower screen is so clean and modern too.
i am having my hair cut fri night and coloured it is so overdue.
it is grants birthday next monday so we are having family over sunday but he doesnt know.i am getting him a voucher for dan murphys so he can fill up his empty wine rack again and a voucher to go shopping at water gardens.he is taking monday off so he should be able to use them that day.
not much else this weekend, reece is back saturday and i am catching up with some friends sat arvo.actually with basketball and football ,this weekend now sounds very busy doesnt it! hehehe!
oh yeah another friend of ours had her baby girl today at 31 weeks prg,she is 1.5 kilos and is expected to be in hospital for about 5 weeks due to immature lungs.
our friend who had her baby boy yesterday had some sought of poisining go through her blood the info is still very sketchy, she will be ok they are saying and so will the baby but he is critical as you can imagine at 26 weeks gestation.
question,i thought it might be nice to sit at a round table and share a banquet meal of chinese does anyone object to that.
no objections here sounds good nikki!
yep fine by me too i love chinese.
yeah i will be up for chinese thats a great idea nikki, you are a clever girl with great ideas.
hehehehehe! god i crack myself up!
