Tracey - I hope Liam turns himself the right way around again.
Hi Alex, welcome to the group!
Hi Tania, Welcome to you too! My Benjamin thought his name was boo for a while there, but that would be my fault. The only problem we have now is that daycare won't call him Benjamin, they call him Ben. We've told them a few times that his name is Benjamin but they just keep on calling him Ben. I wanted him to choose when he's older if he wanted it shortened, not now while he's still learning it. :wall:
Kristie - Benjamin does weird things too, like spinning around til he gets dizzy or running into walls and doors and the couch to get sympathy from us to pay attention to him more. It's not like we ignore him, but we know now when he's just playing silly buggers with us.
Hi to everyone else I missed in this message. I hope all is well?
Got a big day tomorrow to find out about what's going on in my reproductive life. The hospital better have good answers for their apparent stuff ups in the surgery.

Hi!
Phew..had a huge day running around to gymbaroo and swimming and then headed to the chiropractor...seems really good so hopefully will be able to help with my back a bit...
Trace - Hang in there...all those bh will be getting your cervix nice and ready!!!
Melissa - Good luck tomorrow!
Nikki - I spoke to my friend tonight and unfortunately her hcg levels have halved since Friday...She's being very postive about it all and just nervous hoping that she doesn't have continuing problems with her uterus being the shape it is...I feel so bad for her...
Had a bit of a teary at Michael tonight...I think I'm just a bit sensitive and over emotional at the moment and he's been chatting to a few female friends on messenger etc fairly regularly and so I just had a jealous moment...I mean - he doesn't hide it and I can read it - it's all above board but I think I just had that moment of why can't you talk to me more sort of thing?? It didn't help that he then got cross at me and it turned into an argument...we sorted it all out though...
Geez..just watched a doco on the duggars...I'd be completely insane if I had that many kids - LOL!!!
-
Hey!
Trace, Hi and thanks for the welcome! I hope Liam turns for you..what a cheeky little man already!
Melissa, thanks for the welcome too! Good luck for today and I so hope you get the answers you are hoping for.. Benjamin sounds like Jack although he runs cars and trucks into walls and doors too!! Boys hey!!!
Kristie, sounds like you had a busy day yest!! Hope today is uneventful and you are able to put your feet up! Glad you and Michael are able to sort stuff out so quickly.. Makes me remember what my nanna used to say to me!!" Never go to bed angry" hehehehe
Nikki, glad to hear Grant cooked tea. Has he been helping with dinners more now? You're so lucky to have a man that can cook! Mine can heat up things well!!
Well I went to the dentist this morn( fun fun!) while my mum walked Toby round the Plaza and took him for a babychino! Jack is at childcare today (he goes wed's and fri's) And I've cooked dinner (spaghetti and sweetcorn casserole - sounds funny but it is so yummy!), and I've gotta work later too!!
Hope you are all having a lovely day in this beautiful weather... I'm off to sweep the floor as this lovely sun is showing up all the dirt on them! LOL!
-
Alex I cant beleive you have already cooked tea, how organised are you? I havent even thought about what to take out yet.
Krisite Glad you and Michael sorted everything out. I know how it feels to be emotional. I am getting the worst of it at the moment I think.
Well SIL came to visit this morning and we took Jordan to the park and he had a great time on swings with his auntie. We went to maccas for lunch SO NAUGHTY but oh well havent done that in ages.
Just finished cleaning floors so will now rest up for the afternoon I think.
Liam has been quiet today so SIL thinks that tonights the night..... only time will tell.

Tracey - Sounds like you had a great day!! C'mon Liam - hurry up - we want to meet you! LOL!
We had a nice day - Louis had kinder and then we chilled out at my SIL for a while...headed home and vegged...Nothing too exciting!
So got to go to bed now though....chat later!

I'm at work today and soooo cant be stuffed working!
I dont have anything really to say other than Mothers day sucked! I hate Al...... I'm hanging out for the Wiggles tomorrow! I will see you there Nikki!
Tracey- Liam has to come soon, my girlfriend at playgroup had her bub the other day 3 weeks early! I believe all is well though....
Alex- what do you do for work that you are working nights?>
-
Aww Cindy...I'm so sorry to hear you had a crappy Mothers day...whats with these blokes??? Need a good foot up the backside I think...
I hope you have fun at wiggles tomorrow!
Off to the chiro soon..hope they can help...Looks gorgeous outside - really should get the boys out for a play around and hang some washing out....should...might help if I have a shower...LOL! God I'm so lazy lately...
-
we should start a club Cindy. It sounds like both our Mothers' days were about as good as each others.
I am hanging out for my osteo appt later today, my shoulder is burning after gym last night! ITs soooo sore.
Our mail server at work is having issues, and we are not getting any external mail at all coming in - not good as it means nothing from any of our customers as well as our own staff outside Melbourne, people working from home etc.
I'm looking forward to the wiggles too. Which show are your tix for?
We are going at 12:30, 5th row in the stalls.
-
Cindy, Hi.. Sorry you had a crap Mother's day. Men really do suck sometimes don't they!!!
I'm a dog groomer and I work from home in my garage, and I usually work when Nick gets home from work which is about 4pm.. It's tag team!! And I hope you, Nikki and the kids have a blast at the Wiggles!
Rach, Hope your osteo app fixes your shoulder. Good on you for going to the gym!! I think every time I started a membership at one, I always ended up not going!!LOL And hope you and Milo have a ball at the Wiggles too..
Kristie, hope they can help with your back. Yeah I really should get outside too.. Might go for a walk after the boys have a nap.. It's just so nice outside..At playgroup this morn we were outside the whole time!
Might go and cook Chow mein for tea I think.. Just gotta get these boys to bed first...
-
I do the same with gym memberships. Thats why I go to a $4 per visit gym, no memberships, pay as you go. I find that a lot less stressful!
-
Hi everyone
CIndy sorry to hear you had crappy mothers day also. Next year has to be better :) I am sure you will have a blast at the wiggles tomorrow.
Nikki hope you have a great time too at the wiggles. I am sure the kids will love it
Kristy LOL at trying to get motivated. I am with you there. I have managed to strip the beds today, just gotta hang everything out.......
Alex thats awesome you can work from home like that. Sometime I wish I had foresight into future and I would have chosen a job that I could do from home so I could have been full time stay at home mum. Oh well, thems the breaks.
Well still no action here, more pains last night which fizzled, so frustrating. Jamie took day off to give me a rest. He took Jordan to playgroup which was nice, I didnt have to hurry up this morning and get organised. Jordan was so excited that his daddy took him and when they came home he came in proud as punch to show me what they made ( a leaf stuck to paper ) :)
Hopefully I will have more exciting news for everyone over the weekend CMON LIAM we are over waiting now.........
-
Yeah, that is such a great idea, only paying when you go.. I started doing Boxing Fit in Hoppers which is once a week and you only pay when you go... It's hard work but fun and there's someone there to push you too!!!;)
Tracey, How nice that Jamie gave you a rest today and Jordan got his Daddy take him to playgroup.. Double bonus!! And I hope you have some BIG news over the weekend!! C'mon LIAM!!!
Well I have no carrots so I won't be cooking dinner just yet, but I did make some vanilla and lemon cupcakes...yum yum..
-
Hi!
Rachael - Hope the osteopath fixed your shoulder!! I had my visit to the chiro which was a bit daunting - but she seems to have freed up my neck a lot..not sure about my back so much though...
Have fun at the wiggles tomorrow!
Wow - what a great gym - since when can you pay $4 a visit at a gym??? I wish we had one of those around here!!!!
Alex - Gosh - your so good for cooking dinner so early! I had a last minute couldn't be bothered so I chucked wedges and fish in the oven! LOL...although dh is out tonight and I had both kids in bed at 6.57pm which is a record lately!!!
Vanilla and lemon cupcakes...YUM!!! I'm so coming over to your house....LOL!
Tracey - Thats great the Jamie took Jordan to playgroup! I'm sure Louis and Dylan would love to stuff with their Dad like that as well...I've told him he'll have to take them to their activities when I have the baby, while he's on holiday and he just says we'll see...I'm so going to make him though!! LOL!
Hope it all happens for you tonight!!
Ok - I need some advice - I'm really confused what to do about the work situation... I really enjoy it however, I'm finding I'm either not fitting in enough time with kids when I'm busy with work(even though I do a lot with them I had my little ideals of what I wanted to be as a mother and seem to be failing iykwim) OR I'm not putting in enough time and effort with the work if I spend more time on the house and the kids...
I don't know if any of this makes sense but I'm so confused...I just can't seem to do it all - and I know being p/g again doesn't help - but half of me is like I should be able to do everything and the other half kind of knows I just don't cope well with too much on my plate...
Financially, all I'm doing is earning pocket money as such - we don't rely on the income as it's very unpredictable so wouldn't miss it as such if it was gone...then on the other side it's been something for me away from the kids etc that has been really nice to have...
GRRR!!!! It's too hard!!!
Hope you're all well! Chat later!
-
Krisite I think you do a wonderful job with the boys and if you enjoy working why not just do minimum, 1 party a week or something.
I know what you mean about juggling working and kids but for me I really have no choice, we need my income so I reside myself to the fact that I am working FOR my kids to provide them what they need and want.
Well nothing else to report here hopefully I will get an early night and some good sleep.

Yeah...I seem to find myself wanting to really excel at it though and reach incentives/targets or I kind of don't see the point in some ways...I'm a bit of an all or nothing person sometimes...
My other issues with the whole parenting thing just come from the way I was parented...thats mostly where I end up torn...mum always worked a lot and I was always determined not to be like that...I know you need a balance though and that I'm sure my kids will have their own issues with the way we do things...
I just feel uneasy at the moment - There's so many things up in the air at the moment I just feel like I don't know what decisions to make on so many levels...
Gosh.. I shouldn't be crapping on here about it...I swear I'm losing my mind...LOL!
-
hi ladies well so far another eventless day, although tomorrow is official due date so lets hope the weekend brings some excitement.
Jordan has been good today, had his nanny come visit which he was rapted with. She bought him 2 new matchbox cars and they played cars together..... he LOVES his matchbox cars at the moment, we have to take them to bed with him.
About to clean shower, hoping the all fours action might induce something.........
CIndy Nikki and Rachel hope you are having fun at the wiggles
-
hi guys, tracey, hope you are coping ok,you mentioned earlier that they wont let you go past 41 weeks,so have they given you a date for induction yet,are they doing another scan for size and are they going to let you try for vbac still even though lianm is not in a favourable position?????wow to think that no matter what, you are going to have liam in your arms in 1 week at the most!!!!!
today was fantastic, thankyou cindy for organising the tickets, did you notice that they didnt even scan tickets or anything,i reckon anyone could have walked through the doors and there were seats still available, did you notice?
it was such an intimate show,we were about 30-40 rows back, which was right up the back so no matter where you sat the stage was right in front of you,i thought that was fantastic.chantelle had a wonderful time and ofcourse she and tori and charlie were adorable the way they danced and knew all the words.we headed off to dfo after that and did some major shopping at pumpkin patch and the surf shops and did lunch, was such a great girls day out for us.
this weekend i have a baby shower and as far as i know a book party with a friend,is that right kristie????she hasnt even told me any info except that it is on sunday?
have a great weekend girls and keep us posted tracey on any news okay
