It was great to see you today Kristie!! That dylan is just like his brother! I'm glad to hear he finally let you put him down and put the boobies away. i hope he sleeps n the basinett tonight for you.
Tori was asleep pretty fast on the way home and she actually slept untill 4! That meant i actually got to get the washing hung out and have an hours sleep!

Tracey- would love to catch up thursday - any time works for me! I will text you my address so you can look it up. It is rather easy to get to, i think your easiest way will be to get on the monash freeway and then its just the stud road exit and i'm not far from there at all!

Kirsty - so sorry to hear you hada bad nigth with gussy boy! It must be so tiring at the best of times let alone when you get a night like that.

Rachel - sorry to hear you hurt your back, kids are dangerous arent they!

Nikki - i will be seeing you in the morning - al has the ute so we are ready to move!!! I will call you when we are on our way, will probably leave here about 8ish though, hope its not to early- just thinking of having breaky and getting going before kids are to feral.

We had Charlottes health centre appt today and she has put on another 300gms over the past 6 days! She is already 3.22 kgs, pretty good considering she isnt even 2 weeks old and wa born at 2.6kg!

Well, i am off now - got to do the bath tonight - hoping to get tori to bed early tonight so al and i can talk and have some kid free time! She hasnt been in bed before 10 the last 3 nights!

Cindy - Glad you got in a nap! I managed about 1/2 an hour - Louis slept until 3.30 as well - they must have tired each other out!
Thanks heaps for the quiche - we didn't get home until 6pm from food shopping so was sooo handy to have to pop in the oven!
Wow on the weight gain - thats great!!! Maybe they'll both end up bigger than their older brother/sister!

chantelle is back to good health but extremely clingy and wingy.cant walk out of the room without her following me and making this god awful whinnning noise.
harry is just beautiful,god he is such a good baby.i am sooo lucky.he is not needy at all.thank goodness.
got all the tribe home tomorrow and an extra as i have my neice aswell but she is very helpful with the babies.
cindy and al are coming over with a ute to help us start moving stuff into the house,soooo happy.will be crazy here tomorrow.

kirsty,i am really feeling for you and dh and of course little gussy,how tough for you all.i really do hope that even a little improvment very soon will begin so you can all atleast get the rest you all need.

i have decided to go back to uni to do my medications course.it starts in july.part time,now that i know that both babies are ok in day care i may aswell use my time wisley and try to further my chances at employment in the future.
doesnt look likw we will be moving in officially this weekend as the carpet layer cannot come until next wednesday now,so would be to diificult to lay carpet with furniture in it,we will just start moving boxes and furniture that goes on the tiled areas.
went shopping today and bought new blinds and curtains.and also my dh birthday pressies,i got him a quicksilver jumper,quicksilver pants and quicksilver watch,SPOILT.
he is turning 36 on saturday so i will be taking him out for dinner,have got half the kids baby sitters,just working on the rest.we really need a night out.
tracey no problem mate,didnt do much at the house today,i did paint all the living areas then hit the shops.glad jordan enjoyed play group.

wow it only took about 10 minutes to load the page tonight,yipee!
cindy and al came over today with there little princesses.OMG charlotte is just adorable and such a content easy baby.she is absolutly beautiful.tori had a ball today we had 9 kids here and even 11 at one stage for a breif moment so tori and chantelle had a ball just running around all the comotion,they were being doted over by my neices and ate way to much junk food.tori didnt have a sleep at all today and they didnt leave until about 8.30 and she was absolutly fantastic,she coped really well.al was a magnificent help to us,grant and al took 6 loads of boxes and furniture to the new house,i was so impressed and extremely happy.we owe you guys big time,thankyou soooooooooo much for such wonderful freindship.people like yourselves are just a very rare breed.we cant wait till we get to catch up again when it is far more peaceful and less chaotic.it was great to sit and chat with you all day cindy,grant said after you left that he could see us being very good friends for years to come.and couldnt say enough nice things about al.
just finished tidying up and organising school clothes lunches and bags for tomorrow.
my mission tomorrow is to put up all the new blinds and curtains and to paint all the door handles.also to sand the walls in the kitchen where grant did some plastering.i am starting to feel really bad about leaving my babies at day care everyday,i cant wiat till next week when i can have them back all to myself.then i will put chantelle in one day a week and harry can go casual if i ever need him to.
kristie,i have already received the imunisation allowance from center link,it went straight into my bank account,i didnt even notify them that she had her needle and she only had it done last week.how are you going,i hope you manage to get to cindys tomorrow,it will be really good for louis to get out aswell and see something else apart from the usual.it will be also very good for you too.tracey have fun catching up with the girls.

Well - we are home now - it took a bit longerthan expected to get home coz charlotte decided she needed more of a feed after all, decided to start screaming on the west gate bridge which was fun!!
It was fantastic to have the day with you nikki just to chat away, i hada rally good day and al said that although it was a long hard day he really enjoyed grants company and had a great day! You were right about tori falling asleep straight away!
I think grant is right about our friendship, i too can see us nattering away for years to come! Thank god for bellybelly!

Well i am going to go finish feeding charlotte and get some sleep!

On tomorrow - i will be home all day so i am not bothered at all about time, it will be great to catch up! Are you still keen to do the drive tracey?? I hope you do pop over kristie!

Thanks guys for the well wishes. I'm feeling 100% on what i was on monday. Will probably be told by the physio not stay off work til bext week, but I can't so will just have to pack my heatbag to take to work.

As for us - we're going well! I had my first nights good sleep last night with Dylan only feeding at 11ish/3.30 and then 7.30!!! So finally I think he's feeding about 3-4 hours apart! Thank god!! I'm still tired as I have a bit to catch up on but feeling sooo much better! Louis is being very loving with kisses and cuddles to Dylan at times but on the whole he's not too interested. Typical boy! hehe. I think he loves having his Daddy home to be too bothered!

K - hope you guys have a great catch up!

Cindy thats for a great morning and my cuddle with Charlotte. she is a just a little doll. Tori is hilarious with her little cheeky laugh and her "shoes". I think you will have to take out a 2nd mortgage when she is older to keep up with her obsession :) She is just adorable.
Kristie dont worry about piking. I am sure we will catch up soon. Hope you got some rest with Louis out with DH. Glad to see you are getting some better sleep aswell.
Nikki I am so glad you got lots done yesterday. Did I read you were going back to school? That sounds like a great idea I hope it works out for you. It would be great to get some ME time doing something you really enjoy.

Well I had a great time this morning with Cindy and the girls. They are just gorgeous. Jordan had a great time and it was the 1st time he really got to play with Tori now that he is walking. He did cop a few wacks to the head but he is tough :) he still wanted to cuddle and kiss her.
He fell asleep just as we turned onto the fway so that was great. Hewoke up just as I pulled out of maccas drive thru, I think he could smell the food. I have put him back to bed though as I want him to sleep atleast 2 hrs.
Gotta decide what to make for tea, think its crumbed chicken and pasta.

Sorry about tori and her flying fists - i'm hoping thats something she will grow out of soon, so far she has hit louis, chantelle and jordan in the past week - hopefully tis just coz she is tired and i can try to do better at getting her to sleep during the day!
She fell asleep within seconds of me putting her in the cot today though!

hi all,OMG it took 1 hour to load again,but it disapeared 3 times so all up i have been trying to get on here for about 2 hours,gggrrrrr!
put up all the blinds and curtains today,they look fantastic.
i had a big discussion with SIL today for about 2 hours,we soughted alot of stuff out and i was releived that everything i had a ***** about she agreed she was in the wrong.we will be getting along much better now that we have had it out.
the real estate agent just came by to tell me that they have some people who want to take over our lease cos there house burnt down over the weekend(poor people) they have 2 children and are currently living out of there van.they want to move in on monday.oh **** that has really put the pressure on us.i am not prepared and the house will have no kitchen or carpet,not sure what we will do yet.but we do not want these people to get away as we will have to keep paying rent until someone else takes over the lease.....what to do....what to do.......

AF arrived today,it is the first one since i conceived chantelle in january 2004.
so far it is not causeing me any trouble but grant is rather disappointed cos he hinted that he wanted some tonight.TOOOO BAD!!!!

Hi girls, just a quick post to say hi. I've been reading your posts, but no time to do personals just now. We're about to dash off to the first of F's medical appointments for the day. He had a fun day yesterday playing with another October bubba, Arabella. Lucky for that as today won't be so much fun. Our first appointment is with the surgeon to see what we can do about the incision that is still not healing properly. Will pop in later to do personals etc. Have a fun day guys. xx

Cindy- Swimming was good...Luckily Michael can see that it's silly that we all go though and he will take Louis on his own next week. Poor Dylan started crying on the way home and we had to stop so I could feed him! Louis had a ball in the water with his Daddy though!
I'm not sure if he's just a gutsy bub or somethings irritating him but he's such a windy baby. Luckily we seem to have most of our problems through the day and he's sleeping really well at night going about 4h between feeds. I actually got 8 hours sleep last night (broken of course) Then through the day he's more about 2 1/2-3 hourly feeds...
I've had a definite case of the guilts with Louis...he's just been such a good boy and sometimes I just want to cuddle him/play with him but I've got Dylan iykwim? I'm sure Nikki will relate to this as well...

Kirsty - Hope your appts go well. Thats great the Fergus had a great day playing yesterday.

Well, Milo decided to play hide and seek this morning. He was playing with his shoes in the loungeroom, and I was getting ready for work. Our bedroom door opens across the hall into the lounge. So I turned my back for about 5 seconds, and DH walks in and says wheres Milo?

Now, all the doors are locked, and the dangerous areas (bathroom, laundry etc) are closed off, so we aren't too worried saftey-wise, and we walk around the house looking for him. For a whole minute, then DH hears giggling, and we see him, HIDING behing his highchair, peeking out at us!!

It was so funny! I had to try really hard not to laugh in front of him and tell him its not nice to hide from mummy and daddy.

We had the mchn out today and Dylans put on 220g in 3 days!! I think he's going to be a buddha! lol.
Louis just today has worked out how to open our front security door!! I'm so glad we saw him do it while we were all standing around the door...we live on such a busy road that if he got out when I didn't notice we'd be in big trouble...
Luckily through winter we'll have the door closed but we're obviously going to have to get in the habit of locking it now...

My oh my Kristie- that louis is to clever being able to open the door!
I definately know what you mean about getting th eguilts about not spending time withthe older one! Its so hard, coz they always want you when you are feeding the bub. I ahve mastered the art of feeding and walking today though and even managed to sit on the floor and play jigsaws with tori for a little bit while feeding charlotte!

Well, this is a really quick one from me tonight coz I am hoping to get the girls to bed ans get some sleep myself!
I actually slept in today but it wasnt good, al had tori in the bed iwth him in the spare room last night and she was still alseep when he had to go to work so the idiot left her ther by herself - which is fine she doesnt fall out or anything - but he also left me to sleep which meant that i didnt get woken untill8.30 when tori came in to talk to me! She could have been doing anything - luckily i think she just played with her toys but my golly gosh!!!

Nikki - whats happening with your move? Are you trying to get it done this weekend? are you still going to go out for tea if thats the case?

Cindy What a good girl Tori is to play with her toys and not get up to any mischeif whilst you were asleep. I am sure you got a fright though. I am glad you like the plate. I started doing them when I was given one when jordan was born. I have sold a few to ladies off baby forums but mostly its a hobby.
Good on you for the multitasking B'fing. walking and Bfing is great. I used to so do that with Jordan, especially if the door bell rang.
Krisite Its great to see you are getting good nights sleeps and Dylan sounds like he is thriving on the boobs :) I am sure Louis is getting lots of attention from you all. You will be fine when Michael is back at work. I have absolute faith in you.

Well today I went to work, it was ok. Back there tomorrow :(. I will be working full time for 3 weeks in May just to help them out and not sure how I cope with that. Not only with getting tired but with missing Jordan. I havent been away from him for that long for so many days in a row before. I am sure I will cope somehow. DH and MIL will have him on my days I normally have off so should be fine.
Off to see if I can buy some tap shoes tomorrow after work as I am going to start tap class next week. I think that will help tone my legs and maybe even loose some of the flabber.
OMG did anyone watch the biggest looser finale? How good did they all look!!!!

Tracey - I didn't get to see all of Biggest Loser Finale, only because we taped it and dh cut it short about 5 - 10 minutes. I only got on here earlier just to check who won. Chris came away the winner...Surprise, surprise. Some looked a little over done in the weight loss department, Michael, Marty, Chris and Pati all looked like they needed sleep and skin reduction surgery, you could see the excess skin around their necks. They all did so well. I'm thinking of applying for next years one.

Nikki - You shouldn't feel rushed. That's not very fair of the real estate to throw that upon you.

Rachael - gotta love hide and seek :lol: Benjamin does chasey games with us. We have interconnecting doors around the centre of our house. If you have them all open you can basically run around the centre of it. Good excercise for both of us.

Kristie - You are not alone on the door opening thing. If the handle is reachable, even though he has worked out he can stand on a chair to open them now, Benjamin is off. Thankfully he hasn't worked out the sliding bolt on the back door yet. It's not an easy one either. These children are smarter than we think...

kristy - I hope the visit to the specialists went well?

Not much from me...we've got dinner out for my brother & sister's b'day which I know sounds horrible but I'm kind of dreading. I think it will be a quick eat and dash. Louis has been sooo tired and last night my sister turned up just as I was putting him to bed and hyped him up for an extra hour and he's feral this morning. So much so we've just put him back to bed!! I can't remember the last time he would have had 2 days sleeps. Although I'm not sure he's asleep just yet...
Anyway, it all just feels like too much hard work at the moment to be doing dinner out with a newborn and an 18mo! lol!

Work was pretty good today, I only did 4 of the 5 hours I am supposed to. I just couldnt be bothered :)
I went to the dance shop on the way home and bought my tap shoes. I got a bargain, $25 for a brand new pair. SO EXCITED and cant wait to start on wednesday.
Jordan has been really good today. He and DH didnt get home till just after 2pm, they had a boys outing whilst I was at work. Jordan has a new love, the second drawer which has all the utensils. He is forever pulling out the pototoe masher and all the salad spoons. I have had to remove all the dangreous items from that drawer so he doesnt hurt himself. I found him with the pizza cutter in his mouth one morning.:doh: OOPS.
Dh cooked the nicest dinner tonight, apricot chicken with fried rice. YUMMY. he is now watching get smart (again) so I thought I would catch up with you all.

Krisite I hope Louis was better after his sleep and I hope you manage to have a nice time at dinner. Hopefully the boys will be good for you so you can relax.

We went out for tea last night for als birthday which was last weekend, just went to a local italian place but it was cheap and good food and i had a few drinks too, not as many as nikki by the sounds of it!
tori had her first overnight stay without us, she stayed with my sister and had a ball with her big cousin shae! She even slept through for her! It was so strange though not having her with us wehn we went out, it took a while to get used top the idea we didnt have to order something she could eat!

Tracey - you are so good with your dancing! Have you done tap before? I remember doing it when i was a kid but i was more interested in walking around with noisy shoes than any dancing - mayeb thats where tori gets her OBSESSION with shoes from??

Omg - we had a nightmare night going out to dinner...Louis was so cranky and tired and Dylan did well until I fed him in the car and then projectile vomitted all over Michael - Like all over him! Not only that it was a banquet dinner and after 2 hours it still hadn't all come out so we left without hardly having any dinner...Won't be doing that again in a hurry!
Now today we've had the morning from hell with Dylan not settling and Louis being tired...Dh even said he'd like to go back to work this week - lol. NO WAY! It certainly makes me nervous about being home on my own...

Well today I woke up at 8am and was shocled no noise from Jordans room. He didnt get up till 9am SO PLEASED. I got to eat breaky on my own. Get some washing done and then he got up. Jamie got up at 10am and then we went out for lunch at 12.00 We have just got back, it was really nice. Jordan made the biggest mess with the fries but that got them back for their slow service.
I am loving this winter weather, heater on in the house, its so cosy. Good time to eat and do nothing.

Hello Ladies,
I think I can truly say that I have had the worst day of my life today. Jett has been no right for a little bit now (2days), so last night I drove to emergency but the wait was 7 hours so we came back home. I had a feeling that he might have an ear infection so on the way home I picked up a repeat I had of antibiotics from the pharmacy and he slept the night with us.
He woke this morning pretty grizzly but no high temp, then I have no idea what made me do it but I took him to the GP.
While I was waiting he started burning up, so I stripped him off and asked if I could get a face washer. The receptionist got me one and I just mentioned that he was hot so she took his temp, 40 degrees.
Then I sat back down and he started to convulse, his eyes rolled back in his head and he just kept jerking. I just lost it!!! I was screaming and calling out for help, I had no idea what was happening? They took him from me and I was a mess, I didn’t know if I wanted to go in of just hide in the corner.
He stopped breathing and was turning blue, all I was saying is don’t let my baby die. He finally came around after a few minutes, when he was breathing again I went in. I know this will sound bad but I couldn’t watch this happening to my baby.
I had people all around me. But one lovely mother just was holding me and telling me everything is going to be okay. I would never wish this upon my worst enemy, it was horrible.
Anyway it turns out the infection that caused it all is… in his bloody ears, AGAIN!!
We are off to the ENT tomorrow then off to the Pead on Tuesday. I am still very shaken by the days events but I know that he will be fine and I am able to cope if it was to happen again as I know what to expect.
Sorry to have gone on about it, I know everyone has their own things going on.

I am off to get some sleep and I will check in for personal when Jett is feeling better.

Oh Dani poor you and Jett! How scary - I just had tears reading about it...I'm so so so glad that everything is ok and hopefully the paed can give you some solutions regarding the ear infections...Big big hugs - I just can't even begin to imagine how frightening it must have been for you both....
