The date in Oct was the 19th I think.
Everyone keep August the 24th free- we are having our housewarming and i am having a linnen party the same time- the boys can take all the kids to the park over our back fence and we can concentrate on the linen chick.
Melissa - sorry to hear you are having such a run of things at the moment. HAPPY BIRTHDAY though! The big 30 is not so far away for you now!

as for milo swearing that is hilarious.mmmm i wonder where he heard that from, chantelle dropped her dinner the other night and said f...ing hell.we have just ignored our children swearing.
we took corey for his second appointment with the child pshycologist today,he has called grant and me back next tuesady, first he is meeting with coreys teacher and a pediatrician and other specialists to work out what they think from there findings but he already hinted to us that there are signs of ADHD.i bought a book yesterday and have found it very useful.
ummm,i think that is all for now.

Wow Nikki... I didnt' realise that you had issues like that with Cory...he always seems like such a good kid (the times that I've seen him - LOL) I hope it all gets sorted and you get some solutions...
LOL at Chantelle swearing!
Thanks - I'm sooo excited! I've got butterflies...obvioulsy I'm just hoping to see a healthy baby but I'm dying to know if it's a boy or a girl...I've got a few people hassling me hoping it's a girl so they can offload clothes etc (which I'm not complaining about) but I still think it will most likely be a boy...appts not until 3.30pm tomorrow so I shall send a text message when we find out....I'm sure tomorrow will drag but at least we've got Kinder in the morning - they're having a teddy bears picnic so Louis has to go in his pj's and bring a teddy and they're having some party food...it's going to be soooo cute, I must remember the camera!

Nikki sorry no play centre tomorrow as Nadine is sick and I still cant drive so cant get out the house with the boys. I am getting used to Jordan not sleeping every day now, he does maybe every second day. I hope the doc can assist and sort thru your problems with Corey I am glad you have found the book helpful.
Kristie I am up for visitors anytime over the holidays as everything stops. Mondays prob out though as Jamie is home and we generally do family stuff. I cant wait to find out what you are having, I know you will be rapted with either sex.
Rach Lets try and make it a day when you are free as I would love to catch up all together. We can do it somewhere central if you like, maybe a playcentre if you all dont want to travel out to my place.
CIndy I will try and keep date free, I always seem to miss your parties and dont want to miss this one.
well take care ladies I am off to bed as last feed for the night has been done and LIam is asleep ( or so I think, its all quiet in there :) I will check soon)

Kristie, Good luck for your scan 2morrow!! Can't wait to hear the news too!! Hope Louis has fun at his pj party... Jack is having a pj party at daycare 2moro too!! What a coincidence!! And what a bonus, we don't have to dress them!!YAY!
Nikki, hope you get your answers for Corey and glad you've got a book to help you understand stuff..
Cindy, I'll keep the 24th free too, and can't wait to see your new house either! And I'm free whenever so Sept is fine.. Yeah we all have to be there for dinner!! I'm sure we'll find a time to suit us all!!
Tracey, not to long till you're able to drive now!! And at least Jordan still sleeps every second day! He might need to catch up from the day before! But I bet he's in bed early of a night though! That's always a bonus yeah!!
Well I'd better get to bed, feeling mighty tired now! I drove out to Bayswater this morn at about 9am to visit another friend from BB and didn't get home till 3pm!! Jack and Toby had a great time playing with her kids and was great to catch up too.. They even slept all the way home, so I had a lovely peaceful drive!! Hehe
Nick is out at work atm, on call I think, in Ringwood and will be home in the wee hours of the morn! He only just left at 10pm after hounding me for some sex!!
So he'll prob be home 2morrow and that will mean me getting nothing done!
Anyway talk soon girls..

Kristie - Good luck with your scan. I'm sure everything will be ok.
Nikki - My SIL looked after Benjamin most of the time as Dh went to work. I had another bout of pancreatitus. I had it back in 2001 but not as bad as this time. My body went into overload and I had tachicardi and a collaosed lung out of it all, hence why I ended up in critical care. I don't remember much after driving myself to the hospital as they said I was slipping in and out of it between the emergency dept and surgical ward. I was in good hands. And I'm still here, which is the main thing.
The meeting with the hospital doctors was an absolute nightmare! They were right from the start, they had removed my tubes. So in passing info from doctor to doctor up there they got it all mixed up and had assumed that evreything was still intact and where it should be without going over my notes. I go back to see the gyno doctor who made the mistake in July and he's going to see that I get IVF help in Brisbane, since they stuffed up. It's really beyond us to be able to afford IVF so it'll be a pointless exercise unless they are going to pay for it. Which I doubt very much. Anyhow, Benjamin is our little man and we're lucky to have him, so it's all good in that respect.

IT'S A BOY!!!!!
Everything looked great and I'm sooo excited! The boys are just going to love having a little brother...(now I'm just on to convincing Michael for no.4 so there's no middle child - LOL!) So his name will be Ethan Michael...the PIL aren't that happy on the name but they'll get used to it! Hehe.
Alex - LOL at Jack having a pj party too! Louis loved it! Hope you got a good sleep after such a big day out yesterday!
Melissa - Gosh, how scary...I can't believe you drove yourself to the hospital!!!! I'm sorry to hear about your meeting with the dr's...I think they should pay for your ivf if they stuffed up!! It's the least they could do (would be cheaper them doing that than you suing them I would imagine!!)

Krisite congrats on the news of Ethan Michael. I think the name is lovely. LOL at you already thinking of #4 you are a crack up.
Melissa I am sorry to hear that the news from the docs wasnt what you wanted. I hope you can get something sorted out with the IVF however if not like you said you do have Benjamin and we all need to be grateful for what we have.
Alex glad you had a nice day with the boys yesterday and extra nice they slept on the way home.
Nikki I have the money for the extra wiggles tickets so will transfer it to you, thanks for letting me take those off your hands, Jamies friend was rapted to get them.
Well today was a day from hell. Liam has been unsettled all day not sleeping very well at all and Jordan refused to sleep and has been grumpy and sooky since about 11am. OMG when will it be 7.30 so I can send him off to bed.
Gotta go a sooky 2 yr old

CONGRATULATIONS kristie and family,i am so pleased to hear that ETHAN MICHEAL is growing nicely and i must say that name is one of my most favourite boys names.
all this talk of cubby houses i forgot to mention that creche rang us and offered to give us there cubby, grant went and got it last sunday and the kids love it,it is timber and big and in great condition,i had been looking for second hand ones on ebay and they range about $600 for a used one like this,it has a verandha too.i have been shppoing and bought lots of new toys to put in ther after we repaint it to freshen it up

Congrats Kristie. How did your mum take the news that you are hell bent on perverting hte course of nature? lol sorry. I'm so glad the scan went well :)
All this talk of Cubby houses. I hope we can fit something like that in the backyard of the new place. Am going to measure from the slab to the boundary of the block on Saturday, cos Neil thinks its not as long as it should be.
Neils home sick and will be off work tomorrow as well. He gets a lot sicker than us, with the same illnesses. I think its cos his body doesnt store b12, and he doesnt get the regular injections that he is supposed to have :( men
Cindy I will put the 24th into the diary!
-
Thanks!
It's made it feel so real now!! I love this part!! LOL!
Tracey - Sorry to hear you had such a rough day - hope you get some time out/sleep tonight!
Nikki - Wow thats great that they gave it to you! Yeah at filling it with stuff...
Are you ok?? Your mood says that your sad....I hope everythings ok??
LOL Rachael - Yes..she didn't say all that much - she kept her feelings to herself this time!!!
We had an offer put it on the house today but it was just way too low...bugger! Maybe they'll come back and offer some more if they're up for negotiating but they're a fair way off at this point...
-
Kristie - Another little boy...WOW feel the testosterone. There's a little boy called Ethan in Benjamin's room at daycare and he's very quiet but a delight to talk to all the same. His mum just had another bub friday. She was at daycare with us at 5pm friday for pick up then she told me her little Zander popped out at 7pm only 2 hours later OMG!
Tracey - Sorry to hear about the sleeplessness.
Benjamin's been sleeping in our bed the past 2 nights because we have an electric blanket on our bed and he doesn't. I don't know, I have real issue with getting one for him, what do you think? I know it's a big safety issue, but he's so uncomfortable to sleep with in our bed since he's so much bigger now. I'm so tempted to just buy one to get him out of our bed.

BTW - got the doctor's/gyno's letter yesterday confirming the removal of my tubes. He's been acting without us knowing and has already contacted the fertility clinic at the Mater in Brisbane and is arranging a reduced rate for IVF apparently for next year. It excites me in some respect, but in another I wonder how reduced the rate actually is? and under what conditions?
Melissa
-
Melissa, I think the electric blankets are a lot safer these days than they used to be, and you can always have it on up until he goes to bed then turn it off (at the wall) when he gets in - that way its not on while he is sleeping ad he cant turn it on himself with the switch.
-
Hi!
We had the same people offer us $5k more for the house but they're still 5k too low...bugger...hope they can find it!!!
Melissa - Hmm not sure about electric blankets...is your house really cold at night? I'd probably prefer a little heater in the room rather than an electric blanket...I'm sure lots of people have them though...
Omg...2 hours??? I wish!! Wow!
Oh I hope the reduced fees make it within reach! That would be very exciting...
Having a lazy day...still in my pj's...whoops! Chat later...

well Jordan went for a nap today, thank goodness as I couldnt handle another arvo/night of him being grumpy and sooky. I disucssed with ladies at playgroup Jordans smacking of Jamie and I and they suggested putting pepper in his mouth when he does it. They said put a little on my finger and then rub it in his mouth. It should deter him as tastes bad and I am not smacking him back which sends the wrong message.
I am going to give that a go if need be and see how we go.
Melissa I wouldnt use electric blanket only because Jordan is a hot sleeper, he sweats heaps. I would be concerned he could turn it back on at night, I would suggest a heater in the room instead if you are able. Lets hope the reduced fees for IVF is feasable for you so you can extend your family.
Kristie dont stress about the lazy day in PJs we all need one now and then. I hope the people do put in an offer you are both happy with. It would be great if you could sort it all out before Ethan enters the world.
Rach I hope Neil feels better soon. How are Milos sleeps going?
well I should go empty the line ready for the next load of washing..... it never ends
