Eireann is pooing lots more than she normally does only thing i can put it down to is the chicken pox working its way out of her system poor thing is covered in spots the blisters are drying up now and scabbing over so nearly over . caught my 5 year old trying to pick them on her face today I was going to murder him(just a figure of speech) I didnt just told him not to as she would get scars and not to mention he would hurt her.

how is every one else doing today

Oh I am glad to hear her CP are healing up! Poor little thing!! Do they drive her bananas?? They are going around here too. Glad the boys didn't get them! I was shopping yesterday and saw a girl covered in them, silly parents!
Great here! Ashton is better, I think he is teething, nawing on everything and drowning in dribble.
Just brought some teething necklaces from the US so they should arrive here soonish and will see how they go on Ashton
We went out yesterday and he was so good, slept almost the whole time! I had him in the Mei Tai on my back Got a new fridge, thanks Mr Rudd $1800 Simpson 610 litre side by side which I got delivered for $1299! So HAPPY here, can finally shop without worrying about freezer room!
All ready for Christmas! Was wondering what I got Ashton, then when I picked up my Christmas laybys I realised I got him HEAPS! He got a playskool peek a boo dome, FP learning puppy, FP Noahs Ark with the animals, FP train with the animals, FP baby pack and some clothes... yeah I love Fisher Price haha
Ashton has only been waking once a night for a feed!! It's awesome I just pop him on and go back to sleep and he feeds then goes back to sleep too. I love co sleeping with him
    Well that's about all here.

mel, ash sounds freaking HUGE lol!!! I am going to go get nath's weight checked today, just to make sure all is ok as his feeding has seemed to drop off, i dont know if its the heat or what, but he is so fussy.

Wish me luck, this weight crap is really getting to me and i feel like i am failing him.
I prey that he is ok. I am jsut not ready to give up on this beautiful bfing relationship we have

Oh blake is fine now, although the day before his party some sort of bug bit him in the eye and his little face swelled up so bad. Baiscally his eye was swollen shut. I got a bit over all the "what did you do to him comments"

I have pictures on my face book if any one wants to see them. I think they are friends only viewing though. So add moi if you want.

Jen, is he pooping and weeing frequently? I don't think weight is so important (having said this I haven't had to deal with it BUT can empathise). If you ARE going to worry about his weight, make sure you check it at the WHO one, not the blue book.

Ashton is freakishly huge for 3 months! He is in 0-1 size clothes, and is way above the height and weight percentile, but in proportion

Holy moly, Missymoo! He's a good sized lad! Bet you have some muscles!

Niamh, hope the chicken pox clears up quickly. Poor little Eireann!

I have had no routine at all with Matthew. However I've just ordered a book by Gina Ford which sets out routines. I haven't been getting much of a break during the day and am beginning to go a little crazy with wanting to get Christmas cards done and presents wrapped and get the house ready for when my father and stepmother arrive on Sunday. Tomorrow will be a big day with the end of year staff lunch and Kris Kringle presents, a trip to the post office and another weigh in for Matthew at the baby clinic.

Matthew's sleeping now so I mustn't let this free time get away on me! Lots to do!

Mel, i had to read your post out to my hubby!!!!

****!!!!! You should see the look of shock on my face LOL!!!
Very beautiful size! Did you have a natural birth? Sorry, i have not been on here for ages so i really dont know your story. He's fully breast fed yeah?

Niamh I hope the CP clears up, its not fair to have it so young Try some oat meal bath if it is irritating babe.

I had the best/worst expereince yesterday, i went to get a repeat for a scrit at the GP's yesty, and they told me that he had not gained any weight at all. Not a gramm. SO i rushed to my child health clinic in absolute tears, i just dont want to bottle feed, i love breast feeding so much!!!! Any way, i walk into the clinic, and there is my lactation consultant from hospital, my midwife that did my post partum care and the child health nurse. IT was a blast from the past huh! THey told me that the GP weighing him was a crock as the GP was weighing him fully clothed. WE undressed him and chucked him on the scales and he was the exact same weight as he was at the GP's office - go figure! SO the GP's scales must be rooted!! I ask the nurse about the accuracy of hers and she told me that she gets hers calibrated every month... god knows when the GP's do theirs!

So we talked about diet etc, and i realised that i am not doing my best in that department. For instance, i went to the CHN at about 11.30 and realised i had not eaten that day so far i just get too busy. SO i went shopping last night and bought a pile of healthy crap to eat through out the day, and a brand new drink bottle to take along with me every where. I am on a healthy mission now.
Gotta get this babe fully gaining!

Yup all natural 11 pounds lol. 39cm head! They said he would be about 9lbs but they were very off!
He is fully breastfed, got some high octain booby milk here haha

What a silly GP! I am glad it all worked out in the end Remember to eat (says she who always forgets too) and drink LOTS of water! I drank about 4 litres the other day and the next day I noticed it in my milk and how full I was!!

Mel, he he about the high octain booby milk. Certainly seems to be working well!! Ashlyn has just reached 7.1kg. Do you have trouble with your nappies. I'm finding just about all of mine are on the last snaps, including the BBH. The only ones that aren't on the edge are the BG. If she grows any wider in the hips, half my stash wont fit, arghh!

Mummatotwo, definately eating more makes a huge differnce. I can't forget to eat cause I go all crazy woman if I don't eat all the time! I've found a huge difference in the scales at the CHN and the chemist ladies. So only trust the scales your using regualarly.

Kerry, nice Av! We're only just starting to get on a routine here. Problem is it's all going out the window at the moment cause we are out every day. Can't wait till Christmas day when everything can just slow down!!!

Niamh, hope Eireann is doing better now.

Lol, sounds like hard work. I hope Liberty starts to feel better soon.

CJ, how's things going with the move to the cot?

Ashlyn has just started to grab at things. Yesterday she pulled her dress up and was quite happily sucking on the end of it Finally had Santa photos done so I need to go pick them up today. Hope they look OK. I also picked up the photos we had done when Ashlyn was 5 wks (I've been really busy so it took me a while) They look fantastic, can't wait to get them up.

Is everyone nearly ready for Chrissy?

We're using medium and OSFM nappies. I thought I wouldn't have a problem with the OSFM because they would have a bigger waist. Maybe she'll start lengthening out a bit as she grows.

WOW all the OSFM I have are ok. Having said that they are CTBD and BBH/BBB only. The rest are sized. Hope she grows up! They can only get so wide lol

Just stopping by to say hi to everybody. Poor old Molly has been unhappy for the last few days. Not sure if its the antibiotics I am on or an increase in Pepsi consumption as both occured around the same time  Here's hoping that we don't have another occurance of thrush again. Molly is nearly 4 months old and I don't think that we have had an extended period without it... well maybe about 3 weeks.

We are heading to SIL house for Christmas so am a little nervous about that. Last time we went for my nephews party Molly cried most of the time we were there. Oh well nothing like adventures I say .

Nae - Hoping the next few weeks go quick for you

Mel - your little one sounds about the same size as my friend's bub who is 3 weeks younger than my Molly.
