    Hi ladies,

Pam- I would love to do a pressie exchange! Can't belive its not long til our bubba's are one. Where has the time gone. I'm glad you have gone to speak to someone.

Sue no teeth here yet either! I have no idea when they will pop through.

Kerry- how frustrating for you! I hope they get their act together soon and you can get your new car.

Captain- I'm glad Ashlyn didn't mind you going back to work. I think sometimes its harder for us than them.

Donna- I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I do hope she is ok.

As for us like I said no teeth, lots of standing on furniture. That means falling and a frequently bumped head. It looks like I am going back to work in August 3 days a week. I'm not looking forward to it at all. At least DH will be with her. He is taking 6 months off work.

I hope everyone else is well!

    Hi girls,
eej, DH taking 6 months off work, that will be nice for Emily pity you will be back at work.

Sue, I think when Poppy is a bit easier to look after and DS is at school life will be a lot easier, it's just a crazy year. Renos are slow, I guess that will happen when you are owner builders, saved lots of money but the jobs take froever to get done!!!

Kerry, I left RACV becaus eof those type of hassles, I am with Budget car insurance now 2 years ago a guy ran into me from behind, i just dreaded the thought of all the hassle but no issues whatso ever can't recommend them highly enough and heaps cheaper.

CandyJay you're right it is important to do these things now, I think women in particular get used to putting themselves last...??? it seems the bigger your family gets the more you get lost. Hope Madeleines gets used to childcare soon, I hate when they cry lie that... black and swollen gums OUCH!!!so sore. What a good girl when you went out to tea, I think DH and I will go on our own, it's my birthday soon and I told him last night that I wanted to go out for a nice meal just us. So he better get it organized or else

Captain, glad work is going well and no CC issues for Ashlyn 4.30am start takes me back to early morning feeds

    Hi everyone else
I will start a list for the pressie exchange, we have enough interest already which is nice.

    Hi lovelies,

So sorry to still be mia - honestly still feeling like I've been hit by a freight train. Tired beyond belief, nausea is easing up thank goodness. I'm nearly 11 weeks, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Is it too late to put my hand up for the pressie exchange? Would love too - and I don't mind at all who I buy for.

It's gone too fast, this first year - I think 9 months is such a cute age. Tonight I was in the kitchen and Remy in the next room with her toys - well she FOUND ME!!! Commando style, but got herself to the kitchen, on the cold tiles, poor little thing!! She looked so pleased with herself, just melts you!

Pam - have read your posts - sorry things are tough right now - and couldn't agree more - about women putting themselves last - it's a tough call - and lately I've been finding it hard to see past the fog of the mundane, so easy to get bogged down with jobs and 'stuff' - and find the time for what really matters. This is something I want to work on and improve. Have any of you read that book "The Pram Diet" - picked it up the other day - haven't read it all yet - but it's interesting, and covers this topic - about looking after yourself FIRST!!!

Kerry - sorry to hear about your accident, but so glad you and okay - cars are replacable, people are not. But I hope they give you a nice new Alpha Romeo soon!

It's 1 in the morning, and I'm having trouble sleeping - so it's get up, have some toast, say hello to you all - and hopefully sleep will follow soon. Hate that, when you are so tired, but can't sleep!!!

Hi to everyone else - and take care of No. 1 ladies!!!

    Lee xo

    Hi girls,
thanks Lee, have'nt read the pram diet but sounds like what I need. 11 weeks already I so remember what it felt like to be preg again after such a short time, good... but oh so tiring. Very glad when bubs got here and I got to rest, cause they both slept at similar times You are sounding very unbeat and happy with life, I'm so happy for you. Adding you to the list now.

Anyone else interested, some of the regulars have'nt been on for a while??

    Hi Girls

    how is every one doing

Pam how are ya hun hope ok, I would love to do the pressie exchange sounds like a great Idea, only if that's ok with who ever gets me though being in Ireland let me know what you think I have no problem posting to any one in Australia

Lee 11 weeks already well done bet you'll be glad when you start to feel better you'll be blooming soon, Eireann is doing the same thing crawling backwards and then she cries when she backs her self in to a corner. she made an attempt to crawl forwards yesterday she is rocking back and forth on her knees and hands so its only a matter of time. then we will be run ragged keeping up with them LOL

Nicambhar do they think its asthma how is Arabella ok now, hope she gets her teeth soon

captain thanks I have more just have to upload them now have to put it back on her I was very proud of my self wit the way the dress turned out and plan to do more now. im going to make her a footmuff for the pram and her Quilt and bumper for her cot LOL ill get carried away yet. we think we have the bulling stopped now well I hope so any way

cheekyfrog thank you LOL delighted you got the car sorted as well.

Eireann has 3 teeth now whoo hoo only took her 9 months LOL we have been down to the school a few times this week and I told them that on less they sorted it that Ild take it further so they passed that on to the parents of the boy and so far so good I'm just worried DS1 is a bit soft now and a bit of a walk over the slightest knock form any one in the class and he goes to pieces. what do you do If i tell him hit them back ! he will get in to trouble, but not defending him self leave him open to it...

    Hi girls,
Niamh I am happy to have you as my pressie exchange buddy, how long do you think it will take to recieve the pressie?
As far as the bullying goes I don't think you can do much else, in time he will settle back down he just needs it to stop, maybe take him to see someone so he can talk about it?? Here if they are at school it's a free service, maybe there is something there along the same line??
Mumma totwo, hi like you say long time... good to hear things are going well, you have done a great job with BF all the worries you had at the start were for nothing I don't know who Sarah Buckley is ??? prbabllly cause I live under a rock!!!!

    Catch ya alll soon.

    hey girls,

i haven't been on in a while either but i still update my facebook when i get a chance. brett is out of work so i''m going to opt out of the pressie exchange - sorry!!

i don't know who sarah buckley is either but i've just recently been reading pinky's book about the crying and WOW i wish i read it sooner - so good. not that she cries that much anyway but i feel guilty most of the time about not doing the whole controlled crying thing for sleeping especially as she isn't the best sleeper. pretty good at day but still waking up a few times at night.

glad Liberty isn't the only one who just eats off plates. She isn't the biggest fan of sitting in her highchair and eating and so she has bits and pieces throughout the day but still mostly wants to just breastfeed - sometimes still 2 hourly in the day!! but not for very long each time.

    big hugs to pam
    and
    congrats to lee!!

and nope not preggers yet, we said we'd like to when she is 10 months but that's a month away and we're still living at my parents place and brett has no job so we're going to wait for that to be sorted out first before ttc number 2. I do have days though where i think i might just only have one baby so i'm going to think long and hard about whether or not i have any more as dh will only mind her for 30 minutes at the most and so it will be hard if i had two. hopefully now that he has time off work he'll get better.

oh and about the bellybelly gallery go under the forums onto forum help and there's a question about it and you can only get to the gallery at the moment through there. well that's how it was last time i checked.

anyway better go because my time's up :S talk more soon and i love to read the updates even if i don't get a chance to post back.

Hi Lauren , thats fine (pressie exchange) it would be very tough to make ends meet with no job. As far as another baby goes you have so much time up your sleeve there is'nt a rush, do what is best for you.... I'm sure it would be a lot nicer to have your own place etc. Lovely to hear from you, great job on those bracelets, it takes a special person to do something so selfless for others, hugs right back at ya!!!

awww thanks for understanding about the pressie exchange. it's not too bad with having to worry about ends meeting as long as we budget well because of living with my parents as for the bracelets, they were made/bought/donated ages ago so i don't have to worry about the price of them and the postage for them is cheap and we count it as tithing/charity in our budget.

dh had a job interview today and has two tomorrow - can everyone cross their fingers and toes for us please!! thanks!!

Niamh75 glad to hear the bullying is getting better - some of the bullying stuff in the media lately is scary. ps. i love seeing on fb what you've made, you're very talented.

i've been so grumpy and irritable lately, maybe AF will come back soon? although it's been wonderful, i haven't had AF since it finished start of December 2007!!!

    Just a quick hello

I am still lurking in the background. Life is hard at the mo and I am stressed to the heavens

House we are renting is sold. We have to move out while I have family visiting from the UK not ideal and they wont let us vacate early without paying the rent.

Going on holiday on sat for 2 wks to Malaysia to meet mum. Its the first time she has met Xavier so it will be great to see her after 10mths. Tearful when it comes to saying bye though.

I am sleep deprived. Xavier has not been sleeping well at all. He wont have solids and he seems only interested in my milk. It is draining. Last night he settled at 9pm. I went to bed. He woke at 12 so fed him. He woke at 1 - 3 wide awake. Then woke again at 5.30. Then was up at 6.30 with his sister. I am shattered as this is the norm at the mo. He is teething too.

Anyway I am going into the Ellen Barron sleep centre for sleep and feeding issues on the 7th July.

I have no family to help me so it is me and the kids all day and hubby to help me at night we are both shattered and very snappy at each other. We dont mean it. It is just we are so tired.

Anyway that is why I havent had the energy to be on here for a while.

Best go as Xavier is awake now

    Jo

    Hi girls

Just a quickie to let you know I had my NT scan today - measurement of 1.4mm - normal - waiting for blood results next week - very relieved it's all good so far anyway. STILL feeling sick and just can't wait to get a spring back in my step again.

Pam - how are you doing hun?

Sue - good for you with the new kitchen!! We spend long enough in there, so it should be a nice space!!

Kerrie - did you get your car issues sorted?

Niamh - bullying is the pits, I've dealt with it with my older kids and tbh it makes me want to strangle the little blighters who are doing it!!!

    Hi to everyone else!

Holy moly, Bella only just decided she would go to bed now, like 3.5 hrs later than the usual. Think she is still really peeved at the sparky being here so early this morning and making so much noise that she couldn't sleep, well, she's gonna be super annoyed tomorrow morning, builder has a 6.30am start here .

Lauren, how did DH go with the interviews today?

    Donna

Jo - enjoy the trip to Malaysia to see yr mum. to you, even though Bella normally sleeps quite well, I have had the odd night of next to no sleep and it just makes me terribly snappy, especially at DF cause I resent that he is never here with me to help when I lose the plot. Hopefully you and Xavier are tucked up having a lovely nights sleep.

Lee - fantastic news on the nt scan, not so fantastic on the sickness, man I don't miss that feeling. I totally agree, we do spend so much time in the kitchen that it has to be something spesh.. pity df and I are on 7 day a week lite and easy until we shed the unwanted spare tyres, which could be for quite some time ...
