Oh thats awesome Jodes, you can drop in for a coffee when your nearby :)
-
Oh i would love another but unfortunatly i would have to upgrade house, car etc and plus i honestly dont think i would be a good enough mum with three. Sometimes i cant cope with 2. Terrible really when maz and chrissy have enough love for there tribe. Selfish too. But i think aaron would have a pink fit.Sometimes i mention it... Any way i still have a few years to think.
Jodi i sent your prize last week, hope you get it soon.
-
Caddie- Don't worry I still have that feeling there that you will have another soon! Hope Ruby is feeling better, has she stopped vomiting?
Laurin- Hope its nothing major. If you do need to go Drs do you have a dr you can get into easily?
AnanT- thats good news you've got a house, now you can start packing! Will you drive up there or fly?
Beatrix- I know! Its gone so fast hasn't it. I remember when most of us were talking bout our pregnancies and now we nearly have 2 year olds!
Meg- I so hope we get pg together! How great would that be, we were gonna officially try in August but couldn't wait any longer! I bought some OPKs off ebay so gonna really start ttc this month.
Jodi- How do men be able to sleep thru crying/ screaming. It amazes me! I hope they both have a nap together today just so you can go and lay down. Maybe take away tonight for you.
Helen- Uni by correspondance sounds like great idea, good luck with it all. At least gives you time to save up abit of money for it. Poor Leith too. Owie. It made my eyes water reading it! Silly boy playing with bees nest!
Well I've just been spending the day cleaning, yes how exciting. Yes AnnaT the bigger the house the more cleaning! At least in out old unit was smaller one bathroom, now I have much more floors to clean 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets! Drives me nuts just feel like I'm constantly cleaning.
-
We're driving up there Shell, the military is giving us 4500 buckaroonies to do it :) Nice mini holiday too although we only have 6 days in which to do it.
As for the cleaning, well guess Id better start channeling Martha Stewart
-
$4500 anna, that's a noice holiday you'll get along the way!! But I'd hate the drive. I dread each time we go to Brisbane. It's soooooo long!
shell - I know, I'm awake the second one of them makes a sound! I too have been in a cleaning mood today, even though I was tired this morning. Nina and I cleaned out my wardrobe, and vacuumed the floors. I've been wanting to clean out the cupboards for ages.
I've just managed to get both girls asleep, but do you think I'm tired ...
Nina didn't want to go to bed, but has now. And Emily was unsettled too. At least I get to play on the net, watch the old season of All Saints and have a milo, all without interruptions! Bonus!

Its a cold horrid day in perth today,it rained so hard this morning my hubby sent me pics to my phone of flooded streets.lol He is still out there working of course.Much rather that than help me with the girls. Ruby had me up most of the night, poor thing finds it hard to breath at the moment with the snottys and coughs.

Hi all.
Quiet day in here today. Hope Ruby improves soon Caddie.
I have been shopping and spent way too much money. None it on myself of course. My very best friend is due in July and has a mum that has just gone nuts and bought her so much stuff, so I thought that I would go for a prez of a whole lot of little things that you don't think that you need till the moment arises.
This is what I have bought her. Some of it I will say that she does not have to necessarily use, it is just good to have in the cupboard when you get home JIC.
A few Sachets of formula (JIC)
lA Happy baby Cherry dummy (JIC)
S pack of Fleece flat nappies (good for over the shoulder)
A 3 piece medicine set. (spoon, syringe and dropper)
A bottle brush.
A pack of mat pads. (you can never have too many!!)
A pack of non slip things that go on the bottom of the bath. (for when he is older)
A Fess Little Noses.
Vicks Baby Balsam.
Childrens Panadol.
I will also get DH to get me some Saline and more syringes as well as sanitising hand gel from the Ambulance.
Thats all I have so far. Can anyone else think of any "must have's??"
i have washed all my 5 0's clothes and put them aside. If it is a small bub, I will bring them in. I will also sterilise my breast pump and put it aside, as a JIC as well.
And I also started shopping for J's second birthday. Dad has made him a tool box so that he can be lite DH, so I have bought a few "tools" for it. He is also loving drawing, so have got some Crayola texta's and some paints as well as an art smock.

Breastpads? Maybe something like Brauer's Colic relief (a friend did a similar pack for me with Riv, and I didn't need the colic relief then, but I used it with Si!). Lansinoh?
I wouldn't have put formula, in case it tempts her to supplement with formula instead of working through the initial breastfeeding pain, but that's just me. :)
It's chilly here too Caddie! Dark and gloomy. I can hear Riv awake in his room, but I don't want to let him out cos Si's just nodded off, and Riv will wake him up! :P Maybe I'll go hang out with him in his room.
-
Meg- A must have I had was Lasinoh cream, took it in to hosp with me and started using in on like second day and my boobies didn't get too cracked and sore that way. Its a good idea for present though, someone did that for my friend at her baby shower and I thought it was great idea.
Caddie- I had to laugh at the thought of Aaron out in the floods over helping with the girls! Poor Ruby and poor you too, not getting much sleep!
AnnaT- Oh god, I hope you don't mind driving! Longest drive I went on was 6 hours and I was miserable! Never again!Lol.
I feel so exhausted today, don't know why I constantly have no energy. Smallest task tires me out. Just kicking back today. And Ash is actually asleep today, first time since last week!
-
You're not preggers already Shell? Do you need to get your iron levels checked or something? Are you eating okay?
-
Nelle - I have already given her some washable breast pads. Was thinking about adding the Lansinoh. I am only putting in 1 sachet of formula, purely as when I had J, he didn't attach, and I had some MEGA issues. It became desperate one night and it was a dash out to find a store that was open. So I figure 1 sachet isn't too much.
Shell - Can you have a rest while Ash is asleep?? I think Nelle and I are thinking alike. It was the first thing that popped into my head too!!
ETA - I also forgot that I got her some 30+ baby sunscreen
-
I know its totally rude of me to suggest lol but i will anyway, something different like maz's wipes/covers or my keep quiet door hangers? Just drummin up business.lol But your idea is a great one by the way meg
-
Not rude at all Caddie. Will have to check out the door hangers once it is a comfirmed boy. (she hasn't told be but I have my suspicions :) ) I was thinking of adding some MCN products, but don't want to be too presumptious (sp) or pushy as I know that they are not for everyone. What does everyone else think??
-
You could get her a nappy or so, and tell her if she doesn't like them to give them to you and you'll use them?
-
I think it'd be fine to put in a cloth nappy or something. At least then she'll have an idea of what mcn's are like, and if she really likes it, then she might convert! Definitely that nipple cream though!!
caddie - my parcel arrived today  and it's absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much. I'll definitely be shopping with you again soon, a good friend of mine is having a girl in September.
Sorry to make this a very quick one, but little miss Emily is hungry and I haven't figured out how to feed AND type yet!
-
Lol, no girls not preg yet! Have Af at moment and no sex in last month! Prolly combination of that and this cold making me so run down. I never used to get sick before I had Ash now I'm always getting something! I do wonder bout my iron levels though.
Df is cooking for us tonight, yay, so I'm kicking back on lap top watching bold and beautiful.\

Sending baby vibes and sticky vibes to all of those doing the baby dancing this month.
Does anyone know when you have to worry about having a temperature during pregnancy? I had one of 38.1 last night. I wasnt too worried just had some panadol and went to bed. But I felt like crap and had a migraine the night before and am having a little trouble with imperfect vision.
Yah AnnaT on getting a BIG house, goodluck with the packing and moving.
Well I better go and grab a shower while Leith and Eithan are out taking Bella to school.
