Hope everyone's M-Days have been good! Mine started okay but then I had the worst ever tummy cramps so spent the day in bed! I suppose that was good? Not sure what it was, gastro without the bodily functions or a whirlwind bug or food poisioning...who knows. I had a great excuse to sleep and it ensured I got pampered - about to have some yummy bacon potato garlic who-knows-what-else mash that Rans made. It smells delicious, and we'll eat it after Rans has put the boys to bed.
It sounds like most people had a great mothers day.
Chrissy - your story made me laugh, even though it wasn't your "ideal" mothers day, it sounded like their heart was in the right place.
Kell - It sounds like you are doing really well with the kiddies.
Shell - Maybe DF needs to give you mothers day next weekend instead??
Heavenly - Welcome!
Ness - I saw on FB that you caught a mouse. We have killed 16 so far in the past two weeks. we seem to be having a plague.
Well my MD was Ok I suppose. Miss E didn't go to sleep till about midnight the night before. I think she was waiting up to wish me a happy mothers day. J stayed at MIL, so at least I only had to deal with 1. Then I slept in till about 10, but with E in my arms as she had been so upset. So woke up really stiff and sore.
J made me a nice prez at playgroup, so that was really lovely. I also got a nice new wallet.
J is currently in his jarmies. He is refusing to get changed. Oh well, looks like he is going to palygroup in jarmies!
He seems mega hyperactive lately. Anyone elses' child seem to have suddenly gone hyper? I am going to try and change his diet and see if it makees a difference.
I also think he is overtired, as he is still having the nightmares, so probably not in a good deep sleep.
Meg- yeah mice seem to be everywhere, the estate we moved into not oto long ago is a brand new one so lots of building going on and also we are like further out so all around the estate is empty land.. which of course equal alot of mice but 16 mice ekkkk yuck...... how do you do it, it took me like a hr to get the courage up to empty this trap
Nelle- how you feeling today?
Ahh im so excited... Just got tickets to the Disney Princess on Ice show in Adelaide.. got us tickets just 8 rows back from the stage, the girls will love it, taking all 3 and my Grandma is coming too so i dont have to deal alone... Its part of Teleahs bday present cause the hsow i like 8 days after she turns 5
As for that OMG Teleah will be 5 in like 5 weeks... have organised her Bday party just doing up the invites.. we have a face painter/balloon lady coming out to the house... wasnt a bad price.. going to be a costume party too and she is very excited... trying to get her to cut down on her 'friend' list though... seems everyone is her friend at kindy and i just cant have that many kids in my house
Im off to the doctors today...not very well adn have a pain in my bum....true thats exactly were it is. Cant describe it properly but feels like a lump growing internally...scared ****less to know what it is but Ive been putting up with this pain fro 2 weeks now. SOmeone said maybe its a fissure who friggen knows....I just need the pain to stop
Ness - thanks for the postive chat last night babe I know we have had our differences in the past but have to tell ya......your a bloody top chick! Your girls are so lucky to have such a wonderful mother and role model in their life. Being a single mum isnt easy...I saw my sister struggle for years but her girls always came first and you remind me so much of her
glad everyone had a wonderful mothers day(bar you poor Nell )....i had a nice relaxing one...spent the day in my pj's andgot a beautiful breakfast in bed made for me. We dont believe in buying up big for mothers/fathers day.....its the time and the moments from the heart that are the best ones of all.
Sounds like a haemarrhoid maz, U can sometimes feel it,pain, bleeding? Usually creams and sometimes a small op will clear it up. Hope its nothing serious. Was going to give you a call but i may try this arvo if your ok..
Nothing much happening here. Excited but scared leaving the girls. esp ruby as she is super clingy and "dont like people" atm..
Maz.. hope its just haemarrhoids. Ive suffered frm them off and on since both Jesse and Keira. Not nice hey. If thats what it is. Ive just used Rectinol and that usually clears it up. Also having a high fibre diet, or even taking metimusil can help heal them as it doesnt make it so hard to go to the loo. Hope its nothing too serious.
Meg.. oh glad you had a nice sleep in. Poor E. Um.. maybe it is something in his diet? Like you said. I guess ive been pretty lucky that Jesse's always been a pretty good kid and will abide to disappline. What is he eating before he goes to bed? Does he have dessert? Whenever i have had crazy dreams or nightmares, DH will say what did you eat before bed. It was usually something of the chocolate varitey. So having sugar before bed makes me have nightmares. Ive heard it can be a common thing. He will get there honey. Once E gets a little older and he sees he has a little play mate, he will think its great. Youre doing a great job ok
Nothing much new for me. My kids are both running (keira crawling) around the house laughing and squeeling at each other. Very cute.
Maz- I was going to say hemmeroids too, hopefully thats all it is tho they can be quite painful esp if internal. Df gets them and he swears by witchhazel, just buy at supermarket and pour it down there. he tried all the other creams and did nothing.
Kell- Its crap when Drs give a rough time line of how long ppl have. Like your FIL has just proven you just don't know, look how long he has gone.
Ness- I'm dissapointed in your crows, they stuffed up my footy tipping, lol. Disney on ice sounds great I was thinking bout it but might wait til Ash is older, going to Dorothy the Dinosaur instead, I bet Teleah will love it.
Nelle- I was gonna ask if your preg with those tummy cramps!
Maz - I hope everything is alright.
Thanks for asking about my cousin. She is still doing it pretty tough, but I think considering it all, she is doing quite well. She is desperately trying to have another baby, but her cycle is all over the place.
HI guys, wow you guys are chatterboxes. Just popping in quickly to say Happy Mothers Day to all of you, I hope you all had a great day. I will endeavour to hopefully be able to read over all the posts within the next 24hrs and post replys.
maz - my initial thought was either haemerroids as well, possibly internal? What did the dr say? I have suffered from internal haemerroids since having Emily, and they're very painful.
Hi all if you read Maz's other thread, she posted in there she had to go to the hospy to get the cyst removed and drained hopefully she will be at home now recovering.
