Nikolaus is devistated Meg :( ..... Father only baptised him last December and had a close connection with him. He really was such a nice guy and chatted to everyone...never looked down his nose or was judgemental to anyone. We're going to a memorial mass monday night together...best be taking the tissues.
Ive cut my hair...SHORT. Its been annoying me for a while and im so over this bad perm!
AHH and there goes the phone....
Thanks for all the birthday/anniversary wishes everyone!
We've had a great day. Nina was absolutely spoilt!
So sorry to hear of the Father's passing Maz. How is Nikolaus holding up?
Happy Birthday to Eithan and Nina!
Maz- saw yr hair pic on FB looks good! Yeah Ash still asks bout FIL, think she trying to understand it all. You can see her mind thinking about it all.
AnnaT- Hope you find place soon, do you think you and ex will be able to sort out your problems? Can you see reconciliation happening?
Meg- yay congrats, that'll be nice how your neice and E can grow up together get in trouble together, lol.
Ness- Hope things with this guy go well. So far sounds good!
My nephew was in school musical last night, was actually really good, very funny, I wasn't expecting such high standards from primary school. Makes me look forward to the girls being in little school shows.
Shell - erm at this stage no, because even living separated 'together' iykwim, it feels like its just back to what it was. I am really trying hard to beg for a place to live before I kill him lol He wants to try and work it out, but Im 50/50 on it. I'll try but Im not holding my breathe. He just doesnt seem to 'get' what it takes to fix it.
Anna - would councilling help??? Military guys sometimes are hard to get through to though. I was with one for over 4 years and there was no way we was willing to compremise...I hope you find ahouse soon for your sanity hon..It cant be easy on you let alone the boys
Shell - I bet he was fantastic hon. thans re the hair...I needed to get it done..but ive realised now I have a huge nose ROFL
Jodi - he's home sick :( Affraid he has his mothers stomach when he gets upset. He was up 4 hours with tummy cramps and poohing. Mass monday night might give him a little closure. Was Nina super excited last night? Did you think that she really got the birthday thing this year??? Im hanging for Vy's now
Nelle - how goes the house building woman? Do you ahve a completion date yet?
Caddie - have to say...im loving your work atm....those pack's you have up on FB look friggen awesome!!!! Sorry if I put my foot in it asking about the tins......they look very much like your style that was all
Rach - how's your pg going hon? has your sickness eased??
:hello: everyone I have missed...hope you all great
I better go change someone's bottom...phewy
maz - Nina definitely knew it was her birthday, and what that was all about. For the last 6 months, I'll ever heard from her is that she wants pink & yellow at her birthday party. For the past week, every morning she would tell us how many more sleeps till her birthday! And yesterday morning she was sooooo excited!! She got to wear a special birthday dress to kindy, and they spoilt her rotten there. Had a big party for her, and made her the most gorgeous poster card and colouring book.
She just adores her dolls house. Definitely money well spent.
I hope Monday goes alright. Going away in a couple weeks' time should do him, and you all some good. Get away from the situation and take his mind off it.
Are the kids excited about the trip?
anna - what an ickey situation you are in at the moment. I hope it sorts itself out for you soon.
caddie - got the clothes today. They are just gorgeous!!!! I will take pics over the weekend and send them to you :D
Happy to inform you all that chrissy has officially moved on.....i think it was the one year anniversary that came up and wacked me in the bum..and not to mention the new "casual man" in my life.
I have started selling tupperware, to get a bit of extra cash, and i thank everyone that i sent messages on facebook, who have supported me, in my first few weeks.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to those i have missed, and those up coming ones.
Cant wait to catch up maz in a few weeks, we will have to organise a beach trip or something while your in my area...
Hi to everyone
Hey all, sorry about the absence, no excuses as usual....
Meg - congrats on becomming an Aunty, the girls will be great friends, it is so nice to have cousins close in age.
Maz - I am sorry to hear about Fathers passing, it is so hard in these situations for little ones and as parents it makes it doubly hard seeing our little ones trying to understand and deal with their emotions, hugs to all your family.
AnnaT - really praying you find a new home to give you some space from DH and to try and sort out where to go with things, hopefully when you get a new place it will make it clearer for both of you of where you both want to go.
Cougar - yay for you, you sound very positive and congratulations on the new man. Good on you.
Caddie - you are going great guns with your business, what a talent you have.
Beatrix - yay to you too on seeing a new man, tell exDH to p*** off, it is none of his business what you get up to!!
Big Happy Birthday's to Eithan, Xander and Nina and happy anniversary to Jodi & Heath.
Ok gotta go, got a whinging little boy who is very tired because he didn't sleep and also has a stinky nappy I should change.
Nearly forgot, we are off to the UK for a month on 3 September to see DH's family and some of mine too :)
Hi to everyone I have missed. I do lurk but just a hopeless poster....
Laurin x
Jodi- I just noticed on your ticker the daye of your third angel, sorry to hear that. Are you ok?
Yeah Ash is getting excited bout her party too, we picked up the invitations from McDonalds yesterday so now she is all wound up but still another 4 weeks away!
AnnaT- Like Maz suggested, maybe councelling? Sounds like at this point you may need an outsider to help.
Chrissy- Thats great news, good on you. You've been thru alot so you deserve alot of happiness! The Cougar is here to stay!
Maz- I'm jealous, can I come in your suitcase?! Oh well only gotta wait til June next year to get up there!
Laurin- Hey stranger, wow UK, that'll be great. Will you stay with family while you are there? That'll make things alot cheaper. How are your 2 going? Finn sleeping better? Is DH still working OS or staying in Oz now?
God Miss Ash has been getting more and more of an attitude of late and now she has picked up "f... off" oops. Told me and Emily, first I tried to ignore it but she kept saying it so had to have a stern word we don't use that word, hasn't said it since but think I really need to watch what I say now. Next she might come out with the c word!
Oh and Happy Birthday Helen!
 Hope you're okay Jodes, I'm really sorry. xo
(thanks for noticing Shell)
Great to hear from you Laurin, you slacker!
Wow Chrissy! It's good to see you being excited about moving forward. :D
Ooopsy on the F bomb Shell! Funny how kids copy us...I didn't realise I'd been saying 'ayyyy' a bit like the Fonz until I noticed the boys doing it!
Maz, the plaster is in, so it's all moving along super fast! They reckon we'll be in by Christmas - they say they've never taken longer than 6 months to build a house and given that they started on June 1st, who knows. But it is flying - I can't believe it's almost September! :o
 Hope you can find a house Anna. And I hope Ryan will wake up and you guys can get to counselling together so you can learn how to co-exist and give each other what you need. I want to see you happy, whatever that takes, but deep down I'm hoping you can work it out. xo
How's the TTC going Caddie my love? Are you cruisy or do you stress about it?
Helen you sound so busy.
How's J going Meg? Talking much? Riv's not saying much at all, he's just not interested. I'm glad we're booked in for speech therapy, even though the MCHN wasn't too worried, I just want communication beyond 'ehhhhh', 'mum' 'no way!' and a few others. :p
Here is the part where I miss someone. Belle, Ness, Rach, Kell, Marni, Ambz, who else....some of you haven't posted in ages, so if I've forgotten anyone, it's not my fault you slackers. :nahnah:
thanks shell & nelle. I kinda kept it to myself, but put it in my ticker. Probably doesn't make sense. It's taken me 2 weeks to come to terms with it. But I'm ok.
That's funny shell, about what Ash said! Kids pick up soooo much!
Had Nina's party today, which went well. She was really tired throughout the day though, so she had a few tanty's. She was spoilt rotten with presents though. All the presents that were bought are very girly presents, which suits Nina well.
I'm taking Nina on a bus trip tomorrow. I know that probably sounds strange, but she's never been on a bus. No need to in Cairns as we have cars. I can't remember the last time I caught public transport either  She's very excited to be going on the bus. I have no idea where we're going to go. Probably into the CBD and back  She won't car, as long as it's on the big blue bus!
chrissy - great to hear you're moving forward! You're such a strong woman. Good luck with the Tupperware, and the new casual man in your life :D
I am so sorry to hear u had a loss jodi..I am hoping u feel better soon...
I am glad the clothes arrived safely too.
Ok cant stay and chat feeling sick from too much wine.lol
Jodi - I am very sorry for the loss of your agel. I didn't even notice on your sig.
Shell - J is yet to drop the F Bomb, but we are generally not swearers so he hasn't heard swear words before. I am sure he will soon enough!!
J had his speech therapy appt toay. It went ok, but she does want me to come back to work on a few things with getting his language clearer. She is also sending us for a hearing test JIC. I have become quite anxious again though. Some of you have read my thread in the platinum section, and now I am nervous as anything about going back to playroup tomorrow. I am also all worked up about J's behaviour again, as maybe he has "issues" (his dad would have been diagnosed as ADD as a child if diagnosis's existed when he was little) Anyway I really like our MCHN, so I might talk to her when I take E next.
Meg- How are you doing? Has J settled a bit? Hope you are doing ok.
Jodi- Glad the party went well, I can understand the bus trip I keep telling Ash I'll take her one day, we've been on the train if we go into the city but other than that we drive. Ash loves girly things as well its so funny you really notice the difference with boys and girls now, Ash loves all girl stuff, wants lip balm on all the time and hand cream, so funny.
Nelle- Ooh how exciting, its so great owning your own home, well except when things go wrong and you have to fix it yourself! I want an invite to your house warming party too!
And speaking of things going wrong we've had all these leaks when it was ****ing down rain the other day, we trying to work where the water is coming in from, thats the main problem. So more money, I'm wondering if I should return to work bit earlier, applied for 12 months so we'll see but I really miss that extra $$$ coming in.
Nothing happening here, got back from our little holiday away in margaret river. Was lovely but very cold. Took the girls down a cave. They did so well. They had to walk 160 steps just to get out of the cave,.it was steep. I was huffing and puffing, millana sprinted up no probs and ruby made it till last 20 steps then i carried her.lol The cave was all dark with lots of steps and they wernt even scared!
My girls make so much mess... I could cry.lol Clean up one end then they start the other. I have a queen bed full of clean clothes just thrown on. I wish i could employ some young teen to fold them away.lol
Its a shame this thread seems to be slowly dying. I thought our thread would be around forever, seems facebook has claimed us all.lol
Cougar!!! Did u get my order and payment? I am happy you have found a new fella. I am sure craig will still always have a piece of your heart.xo
I'm here! Our internet speed is capped til Tuesday so once I've dealt with my PM's I'm sick of BB since it's taken about 4 times as long to do something. :p Next time I catch Rans downloading updates or whatever early in the month, I'm going to tackle him and tie him to the streetlight out the front, and only untie him at the end of the month.
Shell, hear you about the $$, we got our rates bill the other day and were like ohhh sucks to be paying for somewhere we don't live yet!
Oooh caves, they scare me a bit, I get claustrophobic Cads! I get you on the mess too, I'm on a 10 minute break at the moment from a massive spring clean Rans and I are doing today...I'm so tired! He's working me so hard, though I have hidden in the kitchen for a few unauthorised breaks. :D
Glad speech therapy went okay Meg. We have to go for a hearing test at some stage too, pretty sure it's routine for any kids that get speech therapy, they like to cover their bases.
Just a quick fly by to say I GOT A HOUSE
Its nothing special, just a little old 3bedder fibro home but its in the suburb exH lives in and right where I grew up. I move in Fri week. The owner has asked for an initial 3mth lease and Im cool with that. After that I can find somewhere else or stick around on a month-by-month basis or 6/12mth lease. It means I wont have to change their daycare (that they start tomorrow); I can start TTing Jett hopefully so he can go to preschool next year (which I can now waitlist him for); they can start swimming lessons and Im thinking of putting Jett in soccer class. I cant wait to have MY stuff in MY house.
I feel so grown up ;)
Hope your all having a great day!
