THis year J's birthday is grand final day. (that means Jett's is as well) I wasn't going to have a party for him anyway. We are having people over here for grand final. (organised it before I realised it was his birthday) So going to make a cake, and maybe just sing happy birthday at half time. THen he will look bafck at photos and think that he had a party anyway!!!
Also I had a bottle of baby panadol on the kitchen bench. I thought nothing of it. was walking through the kitchen later, and noticed this sticky trail. J had got the bottle, taken the lid off and had spilt. He didn't drink it thank Goodness. I tested out the lid, and the child proof thing is not working. It just spins straight off.
I think I will write to the company and that really isn't good!
MAZ - Katie got your parcel. She loved it! HSe can't get on to BB at the moment, so she wanted me to thank you on her behalf!
Thankgod we're living in NSW then Meg lol Upside is Freo NEVER make the grand final so Ex wont feel like watching it :rofl:
No party here this year; again we have no little friends to invite. Kinda sucks. Maybe next year.

I'm hoping I can work out a way to get myself to the grand final, was all depending on Df to get me one with his MCC membership but he can only get himself one and has to use photo ID on the day so he can't transfer it. I'm assuming that saints get there that is!
We've booked Ash for a McDonalds birthday party on a sat morn so it doesn't interfere with finals games, lol.
Ash must be really thinking about FIL cause she often asks to see him in the stars and clouds but today out of the blue she asked if he was happy. Thought for a nearly 3 year old its quite a big question to ask to wonder something like that.

Shell - it does my head in. Everytime we see somethign Dora we get...My Dora!!!! But in saying it....Vy's speach has taken on a whole new spin with speaking spanish on top of english and german lol
My boy's are sad. Father at school had a heart attack this morning and passed. Im waiting to be asked why .....
Oh thats awful Maz. Its hard when you have to start answering awkward questions like that but I believe honesty is the best policy (age appropriate ofcourse). We've already discussed with Jett about heaven and stuff. Im glad we did too because MIL has just discovered she has breast cancer and is going in for surgery tomorrow followed by 6mths of loooooong chemo treatment. As much as she has a great prognosis, cancer is unpredictable.
We dont do Dora here although Jett knows who she is. Jett is still obssessed with Transformers and Spiderman (and Playschool but I can stand playschool lol) and Ripley loves Chuggington and The WotWots on ABC kids.
Am thinking we might have to do a last minute bike purchase for Jetts birthday because he surprised us 2 days ago by being able to easily pedal his trike around. Now Ripley is keen on riding it and they have shoving matches over it.
Thats terrible Maz, how awful, just try to explain as best you can. With FIL we told Ash he was sick and couldn't get better so he had to go and live in the stars and clouds. And we explained why everyone was sad cause they couldn't see him anymore. Its hard. Your boys, being older prolly get a better understanding but still how do you explain someone is gone.
We get some spanish words here too, quite funny.
AnnaT- how is everything going? Is your ex set up in sydney now? Maybe leave the kids with him while you househunt so looks better when you show up. Are you still staying in motel or somewhere else?

as for me well unfort the guy i was seeing couple of months ago didnt work out *(he had commit phobe) but for the last two months i have been seeing someone new and things seem to be going really well. Hehas some kids of his own so understands parenting and shared custody. He is someone i hav known for awhile so its good.

I have to share - I became an Aunt last night! My sis had baby Maddison at 11:39pm by emergecny csect, as she went through transition, but was only 3 cm dialated, after labouring all day. She is doing well, and is very down to earth, saying that although she didn't want a csect, she is happy that bub is here safe and sound.
No luck on the house front yet. Bloody ridiculous.
Staying at the ex's which is ok cause its saving me lots of money BUT its like nothings changed you know? He's driving me batty and its doing more damage to our relationship so I soooooooo need to find a place ASAP if we have even a snowballs chance in heck of saving this marriage. Im about to go enrol the boys in daycare two days a week so I have a chance to househunt without them during the week, but I also have a friend who is happy to watch them for me and on weekends I dont need any excuse to escape from them for a few hours lol
My MIL is in for breast cancer mastectomy surgery today so Im guessing ex is going to be in a cruddy mood; Id better get a wriggle on some house cleaning today.
Anna, I'm so hoping Ry will go for couselling with you. Can you sort of set up different areas of the house for yourself with the boys allowed in both? Maybe the boys toys stored in a neutral place? Dunno.

Anna- hows mil? How u holding up. I agree a gender nutral room is needed. And why is your ex so grumpy... I know he is under strain with his mum being sick but is he going through a mid life crisis so to speak? Is he stressed? I just remember u guys being happy and im sad for you. I hope whatever life brings u can all be happy.
