Ohhhh Caddie, I am hanging out for you to have a little Stella!! :D I was thinking about that just the other day!!
Chrissy, I hope Liam's better today. Are you collecting your layers? Today I'm in a tshirt and bolero, with the heater on and I'm cold (but too lazy to get up and grab another layer). Good layering is at least a tshirt/longsleeved top, cardi/light jumper and warm jacket. Scarves, hats, gloves, headbands and all easily tuck away-able accessories. I usually have a scarf of some sort (either a chunky practical sort or a 'I'm just here to look good' kind. :p).
Wagged church today. My muscles still hurt from youth group on Friday night - was like a physical challenge sort of night, twister on the ground and wall, dive through a hoop in the air without touching the sides and land on a mat, coits while jumping on a tramp, that kind of thing. The pain is almost worth it, since my team dominated, but yeaaahhhh...the old old Nelle she ain't what she used to be. :p
Oh and I have PMS, so I'm sooo exhausted anyway.
How's the gluteus maximus Maz?
Riv said mum again today. Hopefully he'll keep talking once it realises it gets him things. He's learned the sign language for thankyou too. :)
Still will book in for a M&CHN appt though, but am convinced I'll spend the whole time being lectured about things...hopefully I'm wrong.
Seems funny to hear you guys talk about being cold and layering clothes lol Im sitting here with all my doors/windows open in shorts and a tshirt. The lads are with Dh running around outside - pantless (the little lads NOT Dh  ), lots of sunshine and a lovely sea breeze.................
Maybe you guys should have congregated up here with Jodi and I, sort of like a big beach holiday ;)
I'd like a holiday up there, had great time when we went to Cairns few years ago but no way could live up there, hate heat and humidity.
Ooh Bali Caddie, that'll be fun maybe you could conceive while away.
Chrissy- I so hear you on no sleep, hopefully he'll get a few thru at once.
Nelle- lol at wagging church, God knows tho! I'm getting sore muscles from wii fit.
Hi girls
Sorry I have been AWOL. But have been stalking but usually with Finny on the boob....anyway, just quickly, I had a great time in NZ, the kids were well behaved on the plane and all went well with no dramas. DH came home a couple of days after I got home so that was great. We went down to Phillip Island last week for two nights and while I was down there my Dad got really sick, he nearly died and had to have emergency surgery, he had a rare form of pancreatitis, fluid on the lungs, they had to open him up and see what was happening and cut away dead cells and part of his bowelbowel. So now he is still critical but the doctors are happy with his progress, he is still sedated but they are going to try and bring him around today, he will be in hospital probably for another month or two and in recovery for 6 to 12 months....it has been stressful waiting for news and I will probably go back to NZ in a few weeks time to help my mum out.
Okay, enough about me. How are all these new babies going, or not so new now, Meg are you still having problems with J and sleep, etc? Sorry I didn't get back to you on the reward chart, but what Shar said was exactly what we did with Rylee, we don't seem to use it now, it worked at the time, but she has been pretty good lately, apart from the usual terrible two stuff. Shell - how is the sticker chart going with Ash, is it helping at all?
Chrissy, how is Liam going? Hope you can catch up on some sleep, having sick kiddies is no fun.
Maz - poor you with your bottom issue....how is the recovery going, ouchies!
Nelle - yay on Riv's sign language, clever boy!
Okay, sorry, I havn't responded to everyone. You girls will all be in countdown mode for the meet-up, wish I was going.

Hi all,
Maz _ I hope your bum feels better soon!
Nelle - I am so with you about MCHN. I hate going as I am convinesd they will tell me off for something, but the one here in Gis is awesome. I really like her. Anyway J is going to Speech as he speaks really unclearly. There is a HUGE waitlist so his name is down, but it could be some time till her gets in.
Laurin - Keeping you and your family in my prayers  Also Shell and Kell for your FILs'
Maz - Hope your butt is feeling better.
Hope you all have a great time in Melbourne, wishing I could come :( Oh well, next time. A Qld holiday's a great idea!!! Or WA, or (following inspiration from Caddie) Bali!!! ;)
Have fun in America MrsT!
Jodi - Hope work's still going well. Congrats on getting the permanent position btw.
AnnaT - When does Ry get his posting? And how's your new little man settling in?
Nelle - Good luck with getting Riv into speech therapy. Don't worry about the MCHN too much. And if you're concerned, I think the next step would be seeing a paed anyway wouldn't it? You could always go to your GP and get a referral? Well done on the signing River!!
Caddie - Thanks for the other day. Will be in contact again soon, just killing time at the moment 'til I know more...........
Belle, Helen, Meg, Ness, Chrissy, Rach - Hi guys!!! Hope I haven't forgotten anyone.
He should have had it by now Sharls but so far not a word although we've been told we're next to be allocated. He seems to think we'll get shifted out of Townsville, maybe to Brissy at a loooooooooooong shot maybe Sydney. Prob is there is no housing anywhere (not here, not Brissy, not Darwin) so we think the reason why its taking so long is because theyre at a loss at where to place him and its hard as there has to be a spot open iykwim? Im getting po'ed now though, I just want to know if we are moving, not particularly where, so I can start getting organised. Its supposed to happen in 9wks and at this rate we'll get 4wks notice which is absolutely NOT enough time for someone with 3 under 2.5 (one of whom is under 3mths and breastfed) to get a huge house clean, boxes packed etc.
River is great, growing like a weed, he's 7wks old today. Cant believe 2mths has flown by so fast!
How are you guys doing!?
Annat- any chance of adelaide?
ahh cr@p dont have much time to post heading out the door in a sec for kindy and day care drop off.
Annika is really testing my limits lately... been going in at night and stealing Millana's dummy, i have had to resort to giving her back a dummy at night so i can get some sleep and so Millana can as well. I dont know what else to do about it.
ummm ok will post more later busy day ahead
xxx
Always a possiblility Ness, but probably not anytime soon. There only has to be an infantry or combat unit for Dh to be able to work there - so it narrows down to Darwin, Syd, Bris, Adelaide or Townsville.
Wow AnnaT - ZYou seem to move so often., How often does he get re posted?
SHAR! Great to hear from you!
Ness- That is quite naughty! I prob would give it back too if it means more sleep. I suppose it is not too bad if it is only at night.
Laurin - Glad you had a good time in NZ.
J is in childcare today, and E is currently in bed but stirring, so I have manged to have 5 mins to myself.
Meg - generally your posted every 3yrs (sometimes you stay where you are for a few postings) but because he has been doing trade training we spent 18mths in Albury and then moved here for his 12mth on-job-training. We thought it would be automatic that you would do your first fully-qualified posting wherever you did your OJTs but apparently not. Im not impressed at the idea of having to move again BUT it would be lovely to be back in a city for a change.
Laurin- Sorry to hear about your dad, must be extra hard for you being so far from him. I'm wishing a speedy recovery for him. How scary it just came on so suddenly.
Ness- Thats a tough one, think I'd just give her one for the night too, anything for a better night sleep!
AnnaT- Hope you sort out the posting soon, I hate moving I don't know how you do it so often. You must have the most unclutered house tho cause everytime you move you'd go thru and get rid of so much stuff.
Ash is deciding now that she's not big on having a nappy on at night but she so is NOT ready for night toileting yet, her nappy is overflowing by morning, she keeps taking it off a couple hours after she goes to bed and we gotta get it back on before she floods the bed.
Hows everyone going? Just thought I would pop in and say hi.
I took J to see Bob tthe Builder at the movies on Sat. He had a ball. Must have been mega tired though, as he had a sorta tanty while at pancake palour for lunch. He poured a glass of water all over my mum. Anyway I got the waitress to tell him that he was not a good boy, and that if he spills water on people he wouldn't be allowed back. You should have seen his face drop!
hey just a quick pop in too
Umm Ex MIL has been diagnosed with Leukemia (only got the diagnsois yest) so its all still sinking in. Trying to support ex without involving myself to much, its all really hard at the moment.. so got a bot on my plate atm
Annika is well being a usual toddler.... still the same but omg can she talk and LOL at her singing.. she has a new fav song about a peanut on the railway track.. her version is so cute!!!
anyway have to pick up teleah from kindy
xxx
Ness- Oh god, thats awful news, what is her prognosis like? She going to start chemo? It would be hard trying to be supportive yet not get right involved. I hope the Dr is thinking positivelythat they can cure her.
Meg- Lol at that, they always start being better if someone else says something. Thats impressive he sat thru a movie.
Not much here, taking it day by day, Ash sticker charts work well for poos on toilet but no so well for behaving at bedtime, last few nights I ended up telling her if she runs around at bedtime she can sleep outside with big hairy spiders, well that has helped.
Ness that is so tough. Wishing you wisdom as you figure out the best way to act.
Haha at J and the waitress Meg! That'll learn him!
Gee, thats awful ness.. I send hope and prayrs to your MIL and too u too as its going to be hard on you too.
I am super busy business wise, hence why ia havnt been around much.
I have to take millana to the drs this arvo, she can hardly breath and her chest and stomach? are gurgling. She sounds like a freight train...Bit worried for her.
Lucky for the lappy as she is curled up next to me.
Ruby been sick too but comapred to M she is not as bad..
Ok Take care girls.
