We don't have any stores here that sell those sleeping bag things. Can you get them on the net? I was reading about them in a baby magazine I got the other day and they looked good.

Good luck doing your tax Rikki. Im the accountant in this house and I absolutely HATE tax time. It was horrible when Jed was self employed. But I kept really good records and rang the tax line for help when I needed it. Good idea about heading to the shops. IM staying right here but (got ducted ariconditioning).

Couldn't be bothered doing my ebay crap. Made the 3d moulds. I bought engouh stuff form a lady off ebay to make all 3 kids hand moulds. I did Wilhelms first, then Vy's hand and foot. I took Wilhelms hand out and the thumb snapped of. Not happy Jan but I can superglue it back on. Ive got another half hour to do Vy's. Then I'll do Nikolaus' tonight and I can make my big frame. IM going to use the pic in my ticker for the photo in it. I love it cause Wilhelm is actually looking at the camera. I dont have that many of his looking and smiling.

Maz - Poor Wilhelm's thumb. hehe. At least you can glue it back on! I bought Xander a Snugtime summer weight sleeping bag, it is sooo cute with little cars on it.

Anna**- Ah you will regreat saying that. I use the time Ash is down to eat! I forget otherwise, and surf the net and occasionally do a spot of housework.
maz- Was it tricky doing Vy's 3d plaster thingy? We also purchased off e-bay but have been a bit slack. I gotta wait til Df and i have energy to do it and when Ash is in a calm mood to co-operate.
rikki- Thanks for that suggestion, i had a look at website they are quite expensive, might see if i can find a cheaper alternative or get one 2nd hand off e-bay maybe.
Its good to hear our bubs are all fattening up, Ash has her appt tomor for weigh in and measure. God I am tired today, I could fall asleep at the computer. I know though if I go lie down for a nap Ash will wake me within 5 mins of going down, she seems to have a 6th sense on these things!
rach - feel around Jack's gums and see if you can notice some bumpy bits. If you're unsure, take him to a health nurse or dr, they'll let you know.
I got my 'Wonder Weeks' book yesterday and have been reading it today and it's great! God I've learnt alot. All day I've been paying particular attention to what Nina is doing and what she wants, and so far it's working great. She was getting really cranky before, until I worked out she was bored, so I started playing with her and now she's sleeping from the exhaustion! I think she's just starting to go through the 12 week growth spurt now. Last night she was really off and has been a little yesterday and today. She must be draining me a lot more at each feed as I haven't been able to express for the past week. I think I'm going to try some natural remedies to boost your supply. I plan on breastfeeding for some time so I don't want my milk supply to run low or even run out just yet. I've also lost a little bit of weight in the past week, so I'm going to have to be careful with my supply (although losing weight is great!!)
shell - hope you get some rest today. If only we could drug these babies or something just so we could get a decent nap during the day hehehe
anna - I know what you mean about being bored. I've done all my washing, cleaning and Nina is sleeping, so I'm a little bored too. Although I could be looking at what to have for dinner ... nah ... maybe a bit later
shell - I found it to be easier doing Vy's hand then Wilhelm's. Make sure Ashleigh is asleep whe you do it. It works so quickly.

Rach - I had a little arguement with the MCHN about this dribbling and crying. Babies dont start teething until their atleast 6 months thats why Wilhelm got teeth at 5 months and Vy's dribbling and screaming like a banchi when I stick my finger in there. She gawns on my shoulder and I end up looking like im entering a wet t-shirt comp form her (yes still have milk every now and then). Get some panadol and teething gel mate. It helps them with their pain and keeps your finger/shoulder in tack.
IM going to poke Vy now..she's been sleeping way to long dame it!

I actually asked the health nurse about that, she did say that it is hard to really know if it might be teething, but pretty much all babies go through this ... it is the start of exploring everything with their mouths and their gum development.:

OK... not bored now! I knew I'd regret saying that! LOL. I just got back from the physio with Xander, turns out I was right to be concerned about his lack of neck muscles and flat spot on his head. Got heaps of exercises to do with him now to get him back on track.

Well if xander needs neck exercises ruby will for sure.She has started to turn her head better but not like she should.Oneside of her skull is flat and if you look at her face when she is flat on her back you can see it crooked.But the paeds dr said review in 2 months!
Another thing which i sort of noticed but ingnored.Mum pointed it out today but i refused to believe it at first.1 ear is bigger than the other.Quite noticable and evn different shaped almost.She lies on the bigger ear all the time so all u see is the cute small one.I remember my dr saying he couldnt see the ear drum yet in one ear but i just dismissed it.I hope it catches up! I hope it doesnt mean she has diminished hearing or that she might have some learning difficulties.At least with a girl she can grow her hair over it but now i cant stop thinking about it and stressing.I dont want people to notice.Terrible mother arnt i.
Caddie - I pushed the MCHN to refer me to the physio... other than the ear thing, Xander sounds a lot like you describe. I've got a few sheets of exercises that I was given that are easy to follow so I'll e-mail to you. The ones that are more instensive will need a specialist to explain so I wont send those.

hey caddie, did you have ruby's hearing checked when you were in hospital? don't want to alarm you or anything, but if she does have a hearing loss the sooner you can get intervention the better. (this is the field i was in before becoming a full time mummy). i am sure it is nothing, and i can tell you right now, that even if she was completely Deaf in one ear, she would still lead a normal 'hearing' life, just might have trouble with direction of sound etc. it is definately something to keep an eye on though (although i can totally understand preferring to ignore it).
my brother has always had a hearing problem in one ear and has lead a normal life, hasn't affected him at all.
At the hospital they did the test and said she was fine.So i suppose thats a good sign or can they get that wrong?
Jodi - I'll send over to you as well... none of these exercises will hurt even if bubs doesn't have a prob as they are really just neck stregthening ones. I just have to scan them and send em off to you both...
Caddie - can be wrong if it's one sided, but if she passed in hospital no need to worry yourself. just check with the chn next time you are there and she'll monitor it.

maz - thats what riley is like at the moment with the dribbling and my nurse said it is when the mouth is coming together. but i can feel a tooth in his mouth.
caddie - if your unsure about the test get it done again and ask for the secondary test to be done on her. i had riley done with both of them as we have a genic hearing loss in the family.

Yes,i did the big weigh in and lost 1.4kg.Im real happy about that! I got a calculater that works out points on supermarket food too.

Anna that 's good that Xander slept through last night too. It must have been in the air. Mum told me when she was about 5 weeks old that I should be doing that exercise with her every day, which I've done. This morning I had her sitting up in front of me and I'd let go and she can sit upright on her own for 3 seconds, then flops. Mum is going much better now. They've given her some medication so when the next headache comes she takes it and it'll knock her out for about 24 hours but she'll wake up with no headache, so that's a plus. Yeah 3 kg is quite a bit. I was a little worried about my milk supply as my boobs have gone down and at night Nina was waking a few times a night for a feed, then last night she went 10 hours between feeds, so everything must be fine in that department.
caddie - 1.4kg weight loss is great!! Congratulations
Adele for got to ask how Akira is going, is she still sick? And how is Simon going?
That thing with Nina waking a few times during night was probably her part of 12 week growth spurt! It's probably all over now... yay, you survived!

:hello: another great night WOOOO!!!!!! in bed by 11pm slept thru till 5am had feed, changed came into bed with me and slept till 8am when I had to wake him to feed and have change as we had to go for our needles, and my little legend cried for all of 30sec YAY!!! didn't scream just had little cry hated watching am glad Jase came with me, the only thing that bothered me was how much he bled :crying:
anyway he is now dozing so should really go get some stuff done

Anna - IM hear mate. Wilhelm had school today and I let Nikolaus have the day off. We went and bought a heap of pink and purple chrissy balls for the tree. IM having a girly tre this year cause im so over having blue deco's. I think its great that you got those sheets for Xander re the exercise. IM lucky htis time round with VY, when I hold her, she sticks her head out that much and stretches her neck out that she looks like a turtle.

Wilhelm had a flat spot at the back of his head cause he never moved the bloody thing and now he looks like he's been hit with a shovel in the back of the head. Goo don you for seeing it now. After all those nights of unsettledness it must of caught up with Ashleigh cause last night she fell asleep at 6:20! She woke an hour later and I was all worried she'd be awake for hours but no had a feed straight back to sleep til 1.
Had coffee this morn with mummy's group was lovely and shortly we are off to the MCHN so who has time for dishes and things?

Hello ladies just popping on from the library comp to say Hi, yes Im still alive! We are settling in nicely and I cannot wait til the net is connected (hopfully sometime this week or the next). Jett is growing like a weed, well over 6kgs now and is quite the little smarty pants poking his tongue out and blowing raspberries. He is also laughing and smiling up a storm and even did a roll over from front to back, dunno whether is was a fluke or not as he hasnt deigned to show us again.
Anyhoo hope everyone is well, cant wait to catch up on everyone's goss and see upated piccies as well as share my own!!

Lucky ladies for those bubs behaving! Its flying so quick,I got ruby's 00000 clothes out and compared.No longer has the scarecrows legs.Now its michelin man.Even my friend commented on the rolls that were hidden by the nappy!
They are all asleep at the moment,getting into a routine where they both have afternoon sleeps at the same time.I love it when i can acheive that!
Dyed my hair chocolate this morning too,just a rinse but it feels good.

jodi- yes that was my first meeting. i was like that at the begining but then it all started to pile on again grr. It cost me $132 and that was with 6 weeks paid for and the membership. good luck with that next monday hope you like it. akira is doing alittle better she has another ear infection yes another one. and simon is doing alot better thank goodness. oh yeah at weight watchers they have a breastfeeding plan. you should ask about it . they try to keep your milk supply up.

well riley slept 6.5hrs last night :eek: i had to ask simon if her heard him at all in the night. simon said he didnt make a noise till 4am yay he might be getting the idea of sleeping :p
