Hey girlsies! :D Good to hear you're all alive and kicking, just the last little bit I've only been able to jump on the computer while feeding, so the typing just doesn't really happen then.

Also, I really have nothing to report...went shopping today, mum bought me shoes for my birthday (hurrah!) and I went into pumpkin patch to exchange some stuff...which I couldn't really since it was old season stuff (I woulda got like $10 for it, so I'll save it for the next or for presents). So (this is where it gets confusing) mum took the clothes off me, to give as presents to others, and bought me new things. Oh and I might have bought a cute hooded camo jacket too :o In what size? 00 :eek: Granted, there's his little cloth bum to factor in, and he's not quite out of 000 yet, just will be soon, but still...*sob*, my baby. Wonder if he'll be tall...
Caddie, I can't believe your Ruby fit 00000! 5 zeros, that's incredible, how special!

Congrats on the weight loss, girls that lost weight! And um..white blood cell vibes and whatnot to the sick girls! Get better soon!

Oh and guess where Rans is right now?? (ooh ahh ooh ahh) He's at the shops getting my birthday present (he says he's getting me a tv, pfft)! I loooove secrets and surprises! Mum knows what he's getting me, and I'm not letting her say a WORD about it - she sometimes thinks she's being really secretive and vague, but her clues are as obvious as broad daylight :p It's pretty cute, but still, I don't want her ruining my surprise!!

Hello all,
Ash is now 5.065 kg and 59cm long. She's in the 50th percentile for weight and 75 for length so I've told her she can be a model and take me travelling to paris and milan! LOL!

We still have had no luck with the bottle, just alot of heartache and pain! But we have a mini solution, she will drink if we pour bits into her mouth from a cup. So i can go to my works big xmas do. I would only do it on the rare occasion cause i not want her to get lazy with sucking and i don't think it would work to well if she was really hungry cause she won't get it in fast enough. But I feel some relief that i can go out sometime and Df can just give her small amounts regularly just to keep her from getting starved.

Sorry can't do personals at moment cause Neighbours is staring! can't miss it!

Ok Nelle, I just went and checked and I see Ive made a di(k of myself. Your birthday isnt until saturday.....well atleast I got in early and I didn't forget. Im in total agreeance with Anna - baby brain is much worse than pg brain.

LOL Maz - I'm here! Xander is having a spack at all these physio exercises so he is being hmmm.. demanding to say the least!

well, ainsleigh has officially hit the 7kg mark!!!! OMG!!

Good to hear from you AnnaT... Jett is growing so fast. Actually all the bubs are growing so quickly now, Xander is no longer the porker of the group (that title is now Ainsleighs') but all the others are fast catching him.

Caddie - I've pulled out Xanders' 00000 stuff at times just to remind just how much he has grown (or how tiny he really was)

My family came over for dinner today, we had tacos (yum) and I put on my birthday shoes. The reason I got my pressie from m&d early is cos I'm going on the church's youth group camp this weekend at Phillip Island, which looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun (and if I get too tired, I can retire with the baby as my excuse!!) So I won't be online Saturday! Might pop in on Sunday night if I can. And I'm sure I'll be on tomorrow before I go as well.

Well done girls, it sure does sound like our babies are growing well! Perhaps we should start a basketball team, if we're gonna have that many tall kids! Haha.

Ooer Rikki, what date is your birthday? I love birthdays too, they're just so fun! None of this, 'oh I'll just let it pass unnoticed' stuff. My kids will be doing dishes and kissing my feet EVERY birthday! (Or I'll withhold pocket money or something :p) It's one day a year that is MINE so I try to make the most of it!
Having said that, not sure who on a camp of self-absorbed (but lovely) teenagers will actually care about it :D Ah well, Rans will be there, and now I'm not allowed in the back room at the moment...ooh ahh!

I am so zonked!! Which reminds me of the word dad uses for River when he's tired from being so full - he says he's stonkered. It just seems like such an appropriate word! River's eyes roll back in his head and as dad sees Riv's head flop against my shoulder as I go to burp him, dad goes, yep...he's stonkered.

Oh and Maz, you have Vy some punkin soup when she was clogged, didn't you...
Riv was sooo agitated and whingy (woulda snapped if m&d hadn't come and tolerated him for me) all this arvo, turning red and straining, crying, wiggling around. I thought he might have had wind, but nothing seemed to be coming up, and he'd been farting like a tractor earlier on anyway. So I wonder if he's got a wonder-poo in there somewhere that he can't get out...so he drank about 70ml of cooled boiled water...so hopefully that will do something, he did seem a bit calmer after that. I hope he's not too constipated, since I really don't drink enough :o

Anyway, I am fershnickered, so I'm going to go to bed the earliest I have all week! At 11:20, isn't that so sad...nite girls xo

Morning all.
I got Df to do 100% of settling Ash last night in preperation for when I'm not around but it didn't work. She got past that point and when that happens she starts screaming and all that will settle her is booby! So if I'm not there he's stuffed. So I don't think I can take the chance, other nights she is good and settles with just a cuddle and pats on her bum but we never know what she gonna do so i think I'll be staying home for the rest of her life!
At least it showed Df the hard work i put in to settle her. We put her down round 8 and the nights it takes a couple hours to settle her annoy me and he always comments how I shouldn't care cause she's going down at an okay time. And I always point out thats not the point what i want is just some time to myself in the evening before I go to sleep to kick back, watch tv or whatever. So now he totally understands that!

Nelle- Enjoy your time away. I love Phillip Island, very nice there. And Happy birthday for tomor.

Anna**- Df is about 6 foot and both my brothers are very tall so Ash could be heading that way. How's the physio with Xander coming along?

question...........has anyone had the injection for contraception? not sure what its called but it lasts for 3 months? just wondering if there are side affects?
its either that or that implantation that lasts 3 years, anyone had that one?

chrissy i have it :) the only side affect is you stop bleeding abd a slight weight gain thats about it. its called depo

Chrissy - I had the implanon and totally loved it, no weight gain, a only rarely had a very light period and the bonus is that it is a very cheap option (about $50 including insertion). It isn't for everyone tho... but if it doesn't suit you, it is easily removed and your body/fertility returns pretty much instantly.

Adele & Belle - Sorry I missed you both on msn yesterday! Will catch up soon.

chrissy - I've had both and personally preferred the depo which is the injection every 3 months. I used to suffer from depression and while I was on the implanon I started to feel that way again.

We're supposed to be going out for a few drinks tonight for my sisters b'day, and MIL is looking after Nina. She was over last night and we were letting her know what we do with Nina at night. Bed at 6.30, if she wakes after 40 minutes then I NEVER pick her up, I get in there fairly quickly and re-settle her with either a few pats or the dummy and leave, then she should sleep most of the night. When Heath asked his Mum if she got all that, she said 'so when she wakes I pick her up and play with her until she goes to sleep' :eek: WTF and she was serious.
I'm having an anxiety attack now just thinking about it. Is it rude to tell Heath I don't want to go cause I don't trust her. She doesn't have the best of hearing and by the time she even heard Nina she'd be hysterical. And I personally do not like Nina crying, especially at night, cause it takes too long to settle her.

She got lots of lovely pressies too. My brother who is her Godfather got her stunning white gold Gucci earings!!!! And my friend brought back Gorgeous Tommy Hilfiger outfits and the most awesome baby LA Lakers cheerleading outfit from the USA. What a lucky girl only two and a half months and already stocking up on the designer items :) hehe

Oh when i was 16 i had the depro vera injection. i cant remember if it had side effects.. i dont think it did. But there is a warning that if you are planning on having a baby within three years not to take it.

chrissy - i had the implanon and was good for the first 6 months. then I bleed for 2 weeks on, then 2 weeks off for the next 6 months. i also put on weight and felt like cr@p but it does effect everyone in different ways...im going to look into the depo injection..i keep forgetting to take the pill..i havent taken it for over 5 years.
Nelle- gave just gave Vy some fresh pumpkin, not soup mate. You can also get stuff from the chemist called coloxal (sp?) drops which Caddie put me onto. try them before the pumpkin mate..mine was just a last moment measure.
Rikki - Yay on ainsleighs weight gain. Our babies are just growing up to fast...its making me so clucky.
Ambz - so happy to hear that savanna's christening went well. I gather the pic in your ticker is off the day. She looks absolutely stunning mate. Id be so proud.
Jodi - go out and enjoy your self to night, try not to think about Nina (easier said then done I know) but you need some time out too mate.
On a lighter note, Jed and I had a DAM last night. He's not going to get the snip as originally planned. We dont know if we're completely finishe dhaving kids yet and we really dont want to make the same mistake again. So its the pill or the injections for me and we'll see how we feel towards the end of next year. I might end up with a tribe as yet....Its only cause Vy's being so good for her mummy and daddy.

Over here there is no discussions at all bout contraception, were still not having sex! its worked out well cause Df never had much of a sex drive, I used to but can't be ****ed these days. We joke we're only ever gonna have sex once to make the next baby, won't be for a while yet.

maz- I could see you with a tribe, maybe 6 kids.

ambz- Savanna's doing great she has more good stuff than i do! LOL.

jodi_lee- Maybe you could just leave her a list of things such as nina's routine, ways to settle her etc. And if you do go out make sure you enjoy yourself don't sit there stressing! Although I know its much easier said then doen, I'd prolly be exactly the same!

Well, after yesterday arvo's maaaajor grizzles, Riv slept through the night, which was SUCH a relief! I had been praying for that!
He's asleep in mum's portacot (the one I slept in when I was little!) so I might take that with us this weekend...if we can fit it in the car!! Hmmm...

Millana ha me up at 350am this morning and would not go back to sleep.I will be giving her panadol if it happens again as i saw that her molars are coming through.I gave her nurofen at 730am as she wouldnt stop whinging and crying and it worked so she must have had some sort of pain.Shes stuffed now as she went to playgroup.
Ruby had me up twice! Not so bad.
millana has fallen asleep on the couch which she never does!!! Better investigate.

can't remember if I came on yesterday Jack did fantastic with his needle a short 30sec cry and that was all

no reaction exceot he slept heaps and has been off his food a little, all normal apparently

and now for the great news I got 7 hours sleep :p he went down just before 11pm and didn't wake till 6.10am WOOOOO!!!!!! mind you I did wake twice to pee :rolleyes:

he has been a bit funny today fed at 6.20am went down at 8am slept till 12pm managed to get 120ml into him and he was a bit pukey afterwards, am watching him closely worrying with it being quite warm an dnot feeding much, got him to take a little boiled water

but asides fromthat him sleeping yesterday and today meant I got most of ironing done, and got floors vac/washed WOOOO!!!!

Yes hmm Caddie Bourke . I dont mind that at all. Just need a middle name now. Dont mind scarlett or Poppy. We'just wait and see. My mum reckons I'll end up with 5 like her now. Knowing my luck the next pg will be twins. Then I'll defently head for the hills.
Vy slept from 7.30 last night until 4.15 this morning. Its slowly getting longer. She always seems to sleep like this when its Jed's turn to get up to her. WE take it in turns one night he gets up to her, the next its my turn. Then who ever doesn't get up to her through the night, gets up with all the kids. MInd you having a migraine today that goes straight down my next and into my bloody ear is making me feel so lovely.
Chrissy - we haven't twanged since I had the m/c. Bit worried I'll fall pg again. I just have to sniff ovulation and im pg. HOw close would you want your last 2 then? Has any one made plans on when they want to fall pg again? I really dont want mine to close together it we do this time. Nikolaus and Wilhelm are 18 months apart and it has its ups but god it was also hard. I want to spend some time with Vy when the boys are at school so I'd probably look at 2.5 years to 3 but as I said before I'll just sit back and see.
Might go and have some chocolate to try to get rid of this hammer in my head

maz we're thinking when Nina is about 18 months old we'll try again. I fell pregnant straight away with Nina so hopefully I won't have any problems next time

ETA: Nina weighs 5.75kg now!!

We haven't decided as yet. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have them couple years apart so they have each other, I loved having siblings close in age. But other times I think it would be easier to wait til Ash starts school so I have the day to spend with the new bubs rather than trying to chase after atoddler. I guess I'll see when i start getting clucky for the next one.

Thanks to my friends who have messaged me to see if I am ok and called me to, I really appreciate your support.

I am doing ok girls, still not the best but am reading your posts and thinking about you all and you are all cheering me up with your posts.

Mum took me out today which was great we had a great time at lunch and shopping too. I still am waiting to get an appointment with the counsellor to help me with my Post Natal Depression, hopefully it will happen soon as Jeffrey and I are fighting every night and we are doing each others head in. Im trying my best to snap out of it but I do need help so many little things are bothering me, I dont know how to just get over it you know, any tips greatly appreciated girls. I have to say Julia is just beautiful and she talks to me now with goos and smiles and cheers me up so much shes so cute!

Oh for hints for my KK, I love silver jewellery, books, scarfs, accessories etc, unfortunately allergic to bathsalts and stuff for the skin due to my allergies :) oh and I love chocolate.

jodi, i was really worried about leaving ainsleigh last night as she was super grizzly from the heat and with dh working away, he does not really know her routine.... but i smsed him about an hour after i left and she was out like a light and she stayed asleep the whole time. so don't stress about leaving bub, it is one night, and i am sure it will all be fine. if you are stressed, he'll pick up on it too.... so relax and try to have a good time!

we're having a nice quiet day at home today. spent the morning getting the pool ready for summer, then i put a carseat in dh's car as he has gone away to see his son for the weekend in my car (no way was i going to be stuck in the house for three days!!) looking forward to taking ainsleigh for a swim.....she loves the water

anna, i got one of those baby seats we were talking about at kmart. also saw them at toys r us.

nelle, have an excellent weekend and birthday. mine is on the 10th of december. i told dh last night that we had to celebrate it this swing he is home, as next swing we'll have stepson staying so won't be the same. so he has two days to find a pressie and think of what to do to celebrate my first birthday as a wife and mother. i'll let you all know how he does!

we are planning on trying for number two when ainsleigh is 9 months - 1 year old, as i'll be 36 in a few weeks. we'll see how i feel about that closer to the time :D

Is any one else missing their bellies? I got a bit teary today. Ive put on my arm print cargo's that were a nice fit before I feel pg and I wore them a bit at the beginning of my
pg with Vy and now they fall down almost. If it wasn't for my gunt hanging over, holding them up they'd be down around my ankles. Jed said he'll take a pic so as soon as he does I'll put it on the wedsite.
Had a lovely migraine that even my migraine tablets wont budge. I got my AF 2 days ago and Ive had an ear infection for 4 days now but hey, life goes on and there's people out there alot worse off than me.
Any how, I better go and start making my KK pressy and I need to make a few cards.

yuck, yuck and triple YUCK! Why didn't anyone ever warn me that disposable nappies leak when babies do explosive poo? I've never had that happen before... but this is the first time he poo'd in a disposable. LOL. Valuable lesson learnt there. Make sure I do my washing on a daily basis and not go gallivanting in the shops all day before doing so :doh:

Well, other than the poo incident, Xander has been kinda OK today considering all the physio exercises he is doing right now. He is a bit unsettled, but he is finally asleep tonight so I am having some me time as DH is crashed out on the couch again. I've got so much housework to do, so I might ask my little sis to watch him tomorrow for me whilst I get it done as hubby reckons he has lots to do as well (or I'll make sure he does that's for sure :p )

We ended up going out last night after telling MIL again and again and again what to do if she wakes up, and she didn't even wake up LOL. She's only just woken up now and is sitting there watching cartoons giggling at them. It's so cute. It was good to get out and have a few drinks but we were home pretty early, around 10'ish.
