Xander is one of babies that hates been in his pram for any length of time, I'm always jealous of the ladies whose bubs just sit/play/sleep quietly in their prams so they can have coffee etc with friends. My kid gets bored so makes a racket (oh, and he still feeds 2 hourly during the day).

we had a great night *woooo* he was in bed by 10pm and didn't wake till 4am *wooooo* mind you I was up half the night coughing up my lungs :( am taking it way easy today feel like utter crap, am thinking cold is mor esinus related after the sneezing attacks I had last night, so hopefully that means Jack will be fine :)

How is everyone? I'm off to the MCHN also this arvo to get her weighed and get her belly checked, she has a slight hernia which most bubs have but noticed yest that occassionally bit of insides pop out.

Well its bit hard to write one handed and Ash has started sucking on my hand, she prolly wants booby again!

Rach- I can understand why you want to try again so quickly. You must have been very emotionally drained after five years of trying. It took us two years and I was nearly ready to give up. Every time AF came I would be depressed that it hadn't happened again. Hope that your feeling better it's hard to get through the demands of bub when you feel like crap.

Nelle-I will give that a go with the lights thing cause someone gave us a star that lights up on the ceiling, haven't tried it out yet. Im nearly ready to invent a dummy with elastic attatched so that it stays in. :-) LOL

Ambz- Savanna is just gorgeous. She was very brave to get her ears pierced and didn't even put up a fuss.

ahhh i give up now i really do. i have a killer headache and akira is crying all the time and riley is just sookie. I NEED SLEEP. YAY finally got a picture up on my ticker gotta get a more updated picture. thats going to have to wait till akira is better.

anna - i hope it all settles down here very soon or im running away (only joking ) :rolleyes: i talked to belle yesterday on msn. she is doing ok i think julia doesnt like to settle still . i think she was going out today im not sure. your not the only one that cant keep there baby in the pram for to long riley chucks the screaming fit if he is in the for more than 20 min lol. so no coffe outtings for me lol.

Caddie - simon still has his moments buthe knows that i just cant deal with him as well at the moment so he has been talking to my brother heaps. which helps me out alot.

im only good at doing hampers lol and meat platters :doh:

ambz - Savanna looks like a diva with her ears done very cute . still gotta get akiras done we were going to wait till she asked. she has been asking me since riley was born to get them done just havent had time to yet.

Well I had Eithan weighed and measured today. He weighs 4680g and is 56cm long, hc39cm. That's small isnt it? How does he measure up against Xander and Nina?

MCHN says that he is doing really well.:)

thanks helen. eithan is such a cutie look at the smile he has just a catchy one. he is getting a big boy now. not long until he is eating you out of house and home. lol.

Wow Helen, Eithan is nearly three months old and he is still smaller than Stewart was at birth! Stewart was 4.755kg and 59cm long, hc-37.5. And at his last weigh in he weighs 6kg at 7weeks! Well he has big shoes to fill, his dad is 6ft 4in and all of DH's family are six ft+.

Dont worry helen! Ruby is still a fetherweight and under 5kg! Millana is petite too and i think ruby will be the same as she has smaller hands and feet than millana did.

Well ruby likes the pram and car so i suppose that counts for something.She cant always self settle though and likes a rock in the bassinet.
I have one of those stars and when my oldest see's it she yells out "wow" So cute.She is now trying to speak spanish on dora!! I just got her some of the stuff for chrissy to try and get her interested in other toys except wiggles and cooking stuff!

Thanks Caddie. Ruby looks adorable on your ticker. We have the star too and Bella loves it more than Eithan. Eithan hates the pram and the car, but he is ok at self settling.

Panna-Wow he was a big baby. We were expecting Eithan to be big as DH is 6ft3 and Bella is going off the charts for her height. Oh well being healthy is the key thing although who knows when all of his 00 summer outfits will fit. He still fits in his 0000 one(Target brand). But is 000 in bonds wondersuit.

AnnaT-yah on the move nearly being complete.

Anna-Eithans reflyx is heaps better. Hugs for wondering where your bubba has gone. Having Eithan has really made me notice with Bella. I will be a mess when she starts school next yr.

Adele-Awww thanks. Did Akira have hives? Bella has a couple of times, but we cant pinpoint what did it.

OMG Eithan just had a 1hr sleep.

Helen - Vy measured 56cm at birth but only weighs 4.9kg now. She's starting to look like the michalin mans daughter. I love a chubba bub. Look at how gorgeous you and caddie both look on your avatars. I think I need a face lift cause my avatar looks a hell of a lot younger than im feeling ..lol.
Caddie - Ruby is just super gorgeous. She has changed so much. I love that top she has on. Trendy little thing she is (hmm mummy playing dress ups...). She's starting to look like Millana a bit. Im going to get some of that plaster stuff and do Vy's hand and feet prints before she gets any bigger. I want to remember how little she is cause there aint gonna be ANY MORE!

I tried to get onto the secret santa thing to CAddie. I didn't realise that it had to be in by last month but I gave 'santa' my details and hopefully I can do it aswell. I use to take the boys to the kmart christmas tree until one year when I took a lady up the road to the salvos and seen another woman walking out with 2 bags of toys for her kids..mind you this woman was dressed in designer label stuff and had a packet of smokes in her hand. God it pi$$e$ me off when people use the system like that!
Sorry thats my vent for the day, better go give Vy this $hit up her nose and some panadol.

I dont play dressups often! Not enough time,i usually put her in simple stuff to do quick nappy changes but i will have to make more effort for those scrapbbok photos.I just bought a heap of bonds groovy stuff.
Millana was screaming the house down a min ago.I had to sit beside her bed.She was hysterical.I dont know why? Strange?
Im going to go visit a friend this arvo.She is having her bubs next fri by c/s as bubs is breach.Her son is the same age as millana and there is only 2 months difference between the next ones too.She doesnt no the flavour so its exciting to discuss names and the whatifs!

helen - didn't get Nina weighed today but she'd be nearly 6kg. Last week she was 5.25kg and she's putting on anywhere betwen 200g to 350g each week. She's starting to go into 00's now YAY! She's just starting to fill out and has some fat rolls now, but still looks so petite. Everyone is always commenting on how small she is.
I'm lucky I have one of those babies that love the pram, loves shopping and loves the car. Bring on the coffee and shopping any time!!
I had a pretty good night last night, bed at 9:30, feed at 3am and that was it. But today has been another story. Her top tooth has almost come through and it's giving her a really hard time. Very hard to settle. I bought one of those teething dummy things that someone recommended so I'll give that a go when she's woken up. Yes, she's asleep, for nearly an hour now. Thank god.

Hi all.
Been to MCHN, she wants the GP to check Ashleigh's belly button out, she said the little thing hanging out needed to be cortorised and she just wants our GP to check out her hernia cause when you press down on it it makes a squelchy noise. She said prolly nothing cause her bowels are all normal but better to check these things out. We got appt tonight at 6:15.
She is now 4.746kg, so putting on nicely. She also giving me suggestions on how to get Ash to take a bottle, she is very nice this nurse.

Caddie - Little Ruby and Paige look so similar in looks...both sweethearts!!

Laurin - your bubs is sleeping heaps, we are still on the 3 hour cycle and sometimes 2 hours!!!

Weight: Mitchell is 7 weeks tomorrow and weighed in at 5.335kg today at 57cms....I have to give hime "sucking training" using tube feeding and my finger...so hoping my nipples get better.

Yeah I spoke with her briefly this afternoon on msn too and she did seem happier. Said she's getting Julia weighed tomorrow, so fingers crossed she's putting on weight nicely.

OMG reading all the weights and ages, my little man really is little. 12 weeks tomorrow, where has the time gone. MCHN averaged the weight and he is putting on 120-130g a week.

Riv's 5kg now, at 6weeks, so I guess that's not too shabby. He is pretty unsettled, for him, at the moment, guess that's the growth spurt.
He's just so wide awake, tried to get him to sleep in his cradle for about an hour, but he kept whinging, so he's up with Rans and his friend, just lying and whinging inbetween them :)

Caddie, you made me laugh, saying that Milana was having a whacko :p
Oh and lol Maz about Vy being the Michelan man's daughter!!

Well that's good that people have heard from Belle, and hoping Julia's appt tomorrow goes well.

Oh yeah, speaking of coffee's, Riv loves the pram and car, but only when they're moving, he even starts to whinge when we stop at traffic lights! So for coffee's and such, he like the carrier, to be snuggled close to me. Have you girls with unsettled bubs tried that? (You have to drink your coffee to the side though!)

We have a dr's appt on Friday morning (thank goodness for the cancellation!) Cos although the cold appears to have left his head, I think it's moved to his chest, and I want to see if he has bronchitis, poor little guy :( Yesterday I could feel vibration on his chest when he breathed..well, we'll see anyway.
I'm putting Betadine on my nipples for a while before my shower now as well...it says it rapidly kills fungi, and I'm sick of this stinking thrush! So just washing it off well in the shower. We'll see how that works as well...any healthy mums and bubs out there? If so - good on you! Enjoy it! :D

ainsleigh is unsettled too nelle. think it is cos she misses her daddy... sam went back to the mine today. she slept for four hours this morning which is not like her either...maybe she is having a growth spurt early. well i am off to find something to eat then think i'll crawl in to bed early. i am so tired i am starting to ache... must be my old bones!

went to Gp last night bout Ashleigh's belly button, he wasn't concerned bout the hernia and she has a little granuloma on it that they just shrivel up with this silver nitrate stuff so no drama's.

Well Emma was an angel last night considering she is so blocked up. We elevated her head and it seemed to help. We went to our follow up anti-natal class last night so she didn't het to bed till 9pm but went to sleep as soon as we put her down and she stayed asleep till 3am :eek: , DH fed her and she lasted till 6.30. So I actually got sleep :) .

But now I am sick :( . Oh well if you can't beat them, join them!!!

How's that QLD weather. Wish we could have some of that rain in Melbourne.

had an alright night i guess i was up 3 times with riley last night i think it was because he went to bed early lol. we where all in bed my 8pm last night. crazy .

how is the weather in qld going, adelaide needs lots of rain everything is so dry. even a little bit of wind causes a big dust storm here.

Maz, sorry to hear about the miscarriage I am glad you are feeling ok about it though. YOu are really strong.

Sarahkate - what a good baby I hope she feels better soon
Shell - Harriet has an umbiliacal hernia too and the Dr toldus not to worry apparently they are quite common. I think when thei stomach muscles get stronger they go away or something.

Went to MCHN yesterday and Harriet is 4.6kg and 55cm she is exactly on 50th percentile for all her measurements so I guess that is good. I told her dad and he said what a boring baby. Most nights she is sleeping at least 5-7 hours now so that is great and I am getting through the day feeling quite fresh. She is a good baby and eats and sleeps well and goes down easily except for an unsettled period in the evening.

The dummy thing Harriet was doing that too so I started settling her without it and now only give it to her when she is awake but grissly. It was too much trouble otherwise.

Belle - I hope you are doing well I am stilly stuggling with the breastfeeding but am hopefull I will work it out in the end.

we got 50ml of rain lightning incredible thunder but no hail thank goodness

well my little man is being good tuesday night went down around 10pm didn't wake till 4am :eek:then slept till 8.30ish

last night down around 10pm again may have been a bit earlier woke at 4am with very wet nappy then did a #2 after I had changed him LOL always the way, but onlyhad half a bottle I think if he had been in a dispoasable he may have slept thru as he wasn't really hungry

well I am still sick, AF is kicking my butt, and instead of being able to go to bed like I used too I have to look after Jack LOL

hello ladies!

savanna had her immunisation this morning. the docs are just around the corner so hubby and i took her for a walk there in her pram.
she was such a good girl!!! she screamed each time the needles went in and had a little cry at the end then was smiling and laughing at mummy and the doctor. shes fast asleep in her swing now. such an angel!!!

she also had her maternal nurse check up yesterday and is now 4.3kg's which is a gain of270grams in two weeks. shes still a little bubba but is growing very well and healthy which is all that matters!

gotta go pay for the hall booking tonight for her christening. im so excited its not long off now! yayy

well done savanna for not crying to much about the needles. how many did she have to have.

rach - mine were really heavy for my first one i went to the dr about it and she said that some people get them heavy for the first one after being preggy.

going to dr tomorrow for cold thing so will ask was just wondering if was normal as I also feel real sick ahve bad headache and am quite lightheaded but then my iron is extremely low since giving birth so I suppose a heavy AF isn't going to help :(
